Great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff. Food very fresh we just popped in for coffee & ended up eating here.

Just had a delivery of Turkey Sunday’s dinner. Fabulous and actually tasted home made with lots of veg which tasted fresh, not frozen.only complaint is that the portions were massive although I managed to finish mine. Terrific value for money I can thoroughly recommend. Thanks ladies

Up from Weston-super-mare visiting family on the fishquay. We popped in with our dog for a quick cuppa and a toastie, were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff and customers too. This place epitomises the welcome you get in the north east. Lovely food, great prices, will be back next time we are up!

Corn beef hot pot to die for! Popped in today all home cooking, value for money, I recommend it to anybody. Best cafe in shields.

Called in today after reading some amazing reviews. So pleased we did! It's run by two lovely very friendly people, Diane and Ed. Everything is home made. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Can't wait to return to try the many other mouth watering items on the menu! Scones are delicious! Highly recommend! Thank you Diane & Ed x
