Painfully slow service in the AM. Often just one staff member who doesn’t appear well trained. Love the pastries but often have to abandon the idea of ordering as it hurts to watch them slowly help the person in front of me

Lovely spot for wine or coffee.

Desayunamos allí durante 3 días y era excepcional cada vez. También tenía el almuerzo en el último día. El servicio era excepcional cada vez y el personal es muy amable y atento. Lo único que podría mejorarse es el café de Starbucks, que es por lo que no el mejor. . . El menú de almuerzo y cena es comida de pub estándar pero bien. La comida que pedimos tardaba en llegar, que sería nuestro único crticism, pero el chef no nos trae un par de raciones de patatas fritas para compensar.

Nos alojamos en el HolidayInn y cansados del viejo aprovechamos para cenar en este restaurant que está abajo. El menú no es muy variado, pero tiene lo esencial. Su atención fue muy buena, la comida no demoró.

We had lunch and dinner here whilst staying in the hotel. The food is good, the service is excellent all the staff are very helpful and friendly. The quality of the food is good and value for money

Quite crowded on Sunday morning, but the breakfast spread was adequate and items were replenished quickly. Long queues for the coffee machine. OK but would probably go outside in future.

I do not believe I have ever rated a place 1 star - so this is a first. Let me tell you why.... Arrived with a colleague. Ordered a pint of Beck's and a Bullmers apple. The Beck's ran out half pour and told no more so please order something else furthermore told no Bullmers apple. So ordered guinness and asked what Bullmers they have - told pear or original but no apple - I gently informed bar person that original is apple - accepted and no great shakes. Then day and ordered food. Burgers on menu were choice of beefburger or breaded chicken fillet. I ordered beefburger. After a long wait my meal arrives - looks good - burger smothered in pulled beef and cheese and sauce as requested - however - cut into it and it is breaded chicken fillet. After much waving I get someone to attend me. I explain I ordered beefburger and she says " yes but we do chicken fillet too" - I reply yes I know - I read menu but I ordered beefburger. She apologises and takes meal away to be changed. I finish my drink and wave often for a refill - no joy. After a ludicrously long wait I go to bar to order a drink - and get a very defensive "your food is coming!!!!!!" So I said actually I just wanted a drink but given the attitude I will take the bill. She snapped back that she wasn't "even" going to charge for food and " don't start talking bad to me"! I asked again for the bill very calmly. I receive it and check it. The pint of Beck's that didn't pour and was replaced by guinness is on there. So I pointed it out - she says you had it!! I - calmly again- remind her it ran out mid pour and was replaced - she grunts but accepts and issues a new bill. She then stands there staring at me with hands out - like " you going to pay?" At which point I remind her she has my card. She now thinks it a good time to serve another table - returns and puts the hands out again at which point I say, skittle more firmly, " you have my card!" . She proceeds, slowly, to find my card in a sealed envelope (??) And processes payment. I ask ( twice) for a VAT receipt and leave telling her again calmly that this whole chain of events was terrible. How can Holiday Inn on Berkeley Street allow this kind of service to happen? Complacency due to location and a largely tourist clientele? Absolutely unbelievable and I urge you - do not patronise this place - there are too many other - decent - establishments nearby.

We arrived exhausted to the Holiday Inn Hotel and were pleased to find a dinner for two for 39 pounds in the hotel restaurant. It was very solid and a tasty meal.

Calm, quiet, and relaxed. Food is above average and would defenetly reccomend their Tomato Basil Soup or Cheese Plate. Drinks are fine but there are no cocktails because "we dont have the right prices for them" (no idea). The place is more of a lounge then a resturant or bar. I never leave reviews but i felt this place was heavily underrated.

We ate here several times during our stay at the hotel. All of our experiences were good except for the time our waitress disappeared for a half hour when we were waiting to order some after dinner dessert. Apparently she had gone on break and didn't tell anyone to watch our table. Someone else did help us when we finally asked . The menu is varied and they have a special for 2 people that was very good. .

Superb breakfast served at Nightingales. It offered continental and British. Extremely good range of fresh foods and it tasted lovely. Self service with plenty of staff about if you needed any assistance.

Apart from breakfast had one meal in here. It was alright nothing fancy but was OK and not to badly priced. Try not to sit near the window or everyone will stare at what you are eating as they walk past.

Joseph, Karolina, Alena and Rusudan really made me feel welcome in the bar. Décor is a bit dull and drab, but the service more than made up for it.

As a bar, this place serves beer and wine with a lower markup than most. As a pub service food, it is again better quality and cheaper than you might expect. Two pints of Stella and a club sandwich and fries came to £21. That;'s hard to beat in the provinces, let alone in the West End of London.And if you are staying in the hotel and fail to go here for breakfast... you've missed a treat.

Das Restaurant hat eine kleine Karte für den Hotelgast, welcher nicht mehr gross raus möchte, das Essen ist gut. Man kann hier auch gut noch einen Apero oder Kaffee trinken.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn, so this was a convenient place to eat during the holidays when most things were shut down. First off, their Christmas dinner was great for about 45L a person for a 4course meal. The meal was good, though the entree meats were all quite dry, but we found that to be the case with most places we've tried around England, so maybe it's how the English like their meat? We ate here a different night as well, prices were reasonable for the area. The best deal is if you stay there, kids eat anything off the kids menu for free! Breakfast here is also very hearty, it's got all the standard typical English breakfast stuff (eggs, sausage, beans, etc). You can also ask them to prepare the eggs another way if you like (e.g., hardboiled). They do note to get there before 9am to beat the crowds, and they were right. The thing that really blew us out of the water though is our server particularly one of the nights was the best service we have ever had. Not only was she just on top of everything, but super friendly, and great with all the kids in our group, coming by and giving them things to help keep them entertained. The hostess in the mornings most of the days we were there too also was super friendly and always greeted us as familiar faces, which was very welcoming.

Limited choice of food but something there for everyone. Portions huge. Prices fair. Staff friendly and efficient. Would recommend when in Central London.

Ristorante annesso all'Holiday Inn di Mayfair, quindi centrale e assai comodo se si pernotta lì. Il menù non é molto esteso e vario, ma i piatti sono buoni e con prezzi non eccessivi se si considera la centralità del locale. Servizio adeguato e abbastanza celere.

Stayed at the attached hotel for 3 nights in August. Food was of a good quality, but the menu was a little limited I thought.Would recommend it and would visit again.

We stayed here and took advantage of the breakfast buffet. It had a very good assortment of foods. Food tasted good and was kept supplied as needed. We were seated quickly and enjoyed the breakfast.

You will not be disappointed when you pop-in to that take rest and have good food at fair prices. A gem to be enjoyed...

Food was inedible, waited a long time with noone in the bar, when food arrives it's cold and tasteless. They did apologise but that is not what I was after

Nightingales is the restaurand based within the Holiday Inn Mayfair. Mrs.Electric and myself always choose the breakfast option when we book this hotel. We love the breakfasts here. This can be testified by the bathroom scales when we arrive home.

It was a quiet night, so got seated straight away. Staff our nice and friendly, Meal Prices are expensive for what you get, but then its London !! The meal I had was Sea Bass with Crushed New Potatoes and Pesto. comes along with Mashed Potato,. I have to say why have two lots of potato ? instead offer the vegetables instead of the Mash, if you want vegetable you had to pay an extra £4.00 the rest of my friends had Sea Bass, Pork Loin, Fish and Chips, it did take them quiet a while and had to ask where are meal was. It wasn't the best of meals that I have had there .. however they did bring in a plate with lots of chocolate sweets for my friend for her birthday which was a nice touch.

Simple menu but nice atmosphere , staff so friendly , great ice cream, breakfast simple but more than enough, all you can eat

If you're staying at the Holiday Inn-Mayfair on Berkeley Street, Nightingale's is your convenient dining option. They offer a nice breakfast buffet, and have a range of menu options for other meals. A comfortable place to have a bite, a drink, watch a little television, read the paper. I enjoyed my meals here. Service is good. The restaurant was named after the song made famous by the wonderful Vera Lynn, "A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square."

I booked Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rate at the hotel, so had two meals in Nightingales; breakfast was very good, and the dinner menu choice was fair (ice cream sundae very nice!)

If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Mayfair, this may be a good restaurant to eat or refresh yourself with a beverage. I wouldn't seek it out on its own as there are many other options nearby.

My friend Giulia and me decided to have dinner to the Holiday Inn of Green Park, we are currently working for another Hotel in London and we wanted to check the level of this one because the appearance can deceive. The place in general is nice and luxurious, the environment is clean and well presented, it is small but cosy and in the centre of the city. The staff was ok, always generally speaking, especially Joseph who was really welcoming and understanding. There were only two big mistakes about the waiters, first of all one supervisor lied about the meat that we tried to eat. She said it was fresh when it was clearly defrosted. The second one is the polishing of the wine glass, it was very dirty, till the point we could notice it in a dimly room. Last but not least, the biggest shame of the place, the kitchen. We are really sorry to complain about it but it's necessary. We ordered one "Risotto" and one Lamb's Rump. After waiting more than half an hour for the food to arrive, with only two busy tables in the whole restaurant, we were let down by the food. We have to say that the presentation didn't reflect the actual quality of the food. The Risotto wasn't a Risotto, it seemed more like a bunch of boiled vegetables with a unknown sauce, and rice that didn't look like rice, it didn't worth the price at all. The Rump of Lamb was another story. I asked possibly to have the sauce on the side, and after waiting 30 minutes for the meat, moreover I had to wait other 10 minutes just to have a little jug with a tasteless sauce. I request to have the lamb medium to well-done and surprisingly enough this request was followed, but the meat was like swimming in his own water, not even blood. It was clearly defrosted and, as said before, the waitress lied about it. In the end I sent back the plate and I asked to pay just for Giulia's plate, going out without eating at all, and drinking only one glass of red wine. My final consideration are: it's better to eat at MacDonald than in a place like this, where everything is appearance but not substance.

Decided to eat here as we had just arrived at the hotel and were too tired to go out. Got off to a bad start as my first choice and second choice starters were not available. We had burgers which were nothing special, my chicken burger was very well done and I struggled to cut through it with a knife. The beef burger (and the meatball starter) seemed to be low quality meat. Edible, but for the prices it was a total rip off. We saw other tables sending food back. They also ran out of the beer we were drinking. Seems to be an issue with stock and supply if they can't provide many items on the menu. Service charge was also added onto the bill without informing us. Nice little bar for a drink, but give the food a miss.

The food is very good and there is a variety of drinks. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is great.

This cafe is located in the Holiday Inn Mayfair. We discovered the some of items on their menu were not available. Service was slow, even tho' the cafe was almost empty at 7pm. Against the opinion of the server, I ordered the starter of Bubble and Squeak because I had never eaten it. Surprisingly , it was better than anticipated. My husband had soup and fish/chips. Nothing special, just OK. We selected to eat here because it is located in hotel where we are staying. We were too tired to venture out.

The food here is average. Nothing spectacular. It is in the Holiday Inn Mayfair and convenient if you're staying there or at the Ritz. In an area with expensive options, this is a better value

Ce restaurant est correct. Il offre un bon choix de plats (cuisine internationale) et le service est assuré par des serveurs professionnels et aimables (surtout Nora, qui est géniale). Le cadre est agréable, feutré mais pas guindé. On s'y sent à l'aise et le bienvenu, même avec des petits enfants.Le petit-déjeuner est également satisfaisant avec une bonne offre anglo saxonne et continentale.Bon restaurant en général pour un moment décontracté en famille.

We had dinner here one evening and the food was first-rate, as was the service. Probably somewhat over-priced but you can't expect anything else in London.Having really enjoyed three different main courses among our party of three, we confidently returned for lunch two days later, this time taking a table for four. Well, it was difficult to think one was in the same place. The service was slow, from taking drinks order to subsequent lunch order. Waitress clearly did not have English as her mother tongue and seemed to struggle to understand what we wanted.This proved to be the case when my burger arrived with mayonnaise, despite my having specifically asked for none. We had waited so long, I couldn't be bothered to send it back. Maybe I should have because the burger was over-cooked, dry and nothing special at all. The waitress had also got another part of the order wrong, bringing a beef dish to a companion who had asked for the vegetarian version. We did send this back. Which meant we ate at different speeds. However, my wife, who had ordered the beef dish, said it was really good.Given our dinner experience, goodness only knows why lunch was so poor. What this results in, though, is that the lack of reliability means I will not eat in Nightingales again and also will not recommend it to anyone else. Real shame but, at these prices, why take the risk?

О завтраках сказать особенно нечего - несмотря на то что номера в отеле недешевые - от 250 фунтов за ночь, сам завтрак обошелся нам при раннем бронировании в 6 фунтов на человека, и этой сумме он и соответствует. Даже странно, что в отеле такой ценовой категории могут быть столь дешевые завтраки.А вот обедать мы сюда приходили не только потому что было удобно спускаться из номера, но и потому что остались довольны первым обедом. Хотя сначала нас посадили на свободные места возле бара, и мы чувствовали себя не очень уютно среди близко сидящих "деловых людей", проводивших здесь деловые встречи, но когда нам принесли наши заказанные блюда, то их вкус и качество полностью компенсировали не очень комфортную с ребенком "рассадку".В следующие два раза мы уже занимали места в основном зале, хотя это, видимо, не принято - мы были там одни, но и никто не возражал. Главное достоинство блюд - вкусно и качественно, что и ждешь от еды в хорошем ресторане. Время приготовления адекватное. Особенно приятно удивило детское меню - тоже оказалось вкусно, а нам есть с чем сравнить. Ребенок ел с удовольствием - это ли не радость для родителей :)Наш средний счет составил здесь около 50 фунтов, включая автоматические 10% за обслуживание, включенные в счет. Но благодаря политике Holiday Inn для постояльцев отеля "Дети едят бесплатно" детский обед нам вычитали, и счет получался около 40 фунтов. Условием было, как мы поняли, помимо проживания в отеле, заказ хотя бы одного блюда взрослым из обычного меню. При этом все три детских блюда - "закуска" (мы брали чесночные грелки - Мммм!!!!.... ребенок делился :) ), аппетитные хрустящие рыбные палочки с картофелем и десерт - бесплатно согласно политике.В случае, если вы не постояльцы отеля, то цены детского меню все равно порадуют - выбор из 7 основных горячих блюд по 5 фунтов, две "закуски" и два десерта - по 3. Всего мы продегустировали за три обеда 10 разных блюд, по качеству и вкусу понравилось практически все, особенно блюдо, которое в меню обозначено как "Сotswold lamb crown chop" - ягнятина-гриль с овощами, хорошая порция по цене 14.45 фунтов. Брали также коктейль из креветок, курицу, сосиски-гриль, свинину, стейк из говядины, и вот только разве что последний был жестковат, но мы так и подозревали, ведь я заказала "полную прожарку". Это, пожалуй, единственный минус. Гарниры и десерты тоже порадовали. Есть опция "Выбор из трех блюд по фиксированному меню" за 21 фунт - закуска, основное блюдо и десерт, мы тоже попробовали, потому что получается еще практичней в плане бюджета.

myself and my partner had dinner in the restaurant, the service was excellent, along with a great meal and dessert, would return to restaurant, The staff also informed me that there will be a new summer menu which is produced by the head chef, will be here in summer and looking forward to the new summer menu, thank you for an enjoyable time.

The food was all cooked to perfection. The staff were very helpful and informative of what was included in each dish including the specials for the day. The bar area was very nice with comfy chairs. Unfortunately the restaurant was empty, only 3 of us in there but obviously this meant attentive staff!
