Ordered food - it never came and when I tried to follow up the staff member was rude and hung up on me. Shame - seemed like a nice place.

Came here a few times and never been disappointed. The coffee and food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Recently tried the shredded chicken and chilli broccoli and it was absolutely amazing, there is also a great selection of cakes. The interior design and atmosphere is very nice, would recommend for students. The service is very pleasant and fast, shout-out to Lukas who was very friendly and helpful in recommending me what to get! Will definitely return.

This cafe was perfectly fine. The picnic benches to sit on were a bit quirky but also a bit uncomfortable. We found that the disabled access could have been better as there was a stairlift but we thought you would have to get a member of staff from upstrairs to work it. We had the lobster burger, cheeseburger and cajun spiced fries - all of which were tasty. When we asked for sweeteners we were offered sugar syrup instead, which wasn't suitable, and were told they had no sweeteners. It was good value.

If there was an option to give 6 out of 5 stars, i would've chosen that one. My daughter found this gem of a place and we've had several deliveries from them. Their food is simply delicious! The tempura prawns are to die for, and the squid too. The sauce they both come with is exquisite. We are planning a visit to the cafe itself very soon. If the service is as good the food, it will be crowned our new favourite restaurant 😋

We have ordered food on deliveroo (multiple snacks and salads) for our dinner. When it arrived we were pleased that packaging was amazing - no plastic. All lovely cardboard boxes. Sadly, can not say nice things about the food - it was not edible. I will use word DISGUISTING as in this case it sounds right. Chicken wings, chips, and salt&pepper squid were so severely overfried that food was stone hard and very dry. As if it wasn’t bad enough, it was excessively coated with very salty Cajun powder. Food was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. Octopus salad was edible. tempura prawns were mediocre, but at least it didn’t have that much of Cajun powder on it and had a bit of a dip on the side. Very disappointed. Stay away from this place !!! PS. I should have known better than ordering from a place that offers a lobster burger. Really ???? ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Under new management, happened across it on our way back to the hotel after a day exploring Edinburgh. Desperately needed coffee and the other coffee places we’d gone to visit had closed - just happened to see the sign for this place and was really pleasantly surprised. Very friendly chatty owners. Had a nice iced latte and peach tea - peach tea was delicious and a decent size. Didn’t have any food but the menu looked nice and they had some delicious looking cakes. Massive space as well with a Harry Potter theme. Worth popping in if you’re in the neighbourhood!

Looking for a bite after visiting the nearby Surgeon's Hall Museum we spotted a sign saying Open Now so went up the stairs. What a terrific space we were presented with and the couple who run it were so helpful and friendly. The lunch menu is limited to mostly burgers but they have an Asian twist and are fantastic. Especially the teriyaki veg burger with a pot of chips on the side. Coffee also excellent and there is a choice of beautiful Japanese pastries. The lemon cream is awesome. There's a choice of cold drinks including Asian pop and juices and also wine. Chatting to the owners we learned it was their third day operating and they had undertaken no advertising but were already seeing a steady stream of interested customers. We really hope it goes well. The place deserves to succeed
