Finally I have found a fish shop, where the food was tasty, hot no lumps in the gravy and the peas are mushy. This might sound ridiculous, but after eating or should I say placing in the bin because the food was poor and a complete waste of money, it was great to find somewhere my family enjoyed. The cost, to be honest you get what you pay, so no complaints there. Staff, pleasant and friendly and the establishment was very clean. Choice, good selection for everyone. Definitely return. Will recommend.

Was recommend the chip shop by a friend, drove 3hours and let me tell you, well worth the drive, lovely fish and chips! Well rounded prices and quick service.

The food in this establishment is utterly sensational. We were tourists passing through. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered a couple of fish suppers. By far the the best we’ve ever had. The prices were great. For what was served to us, it was a bargain. Great location and I’d highly recommend to anyone interested in trying out this gem of a place. ❤️

Chips peas and gravey on a tray £5.40 for only hafe a tray of chips more gravey then anything young blonde girl had to ask 3 time for a simple order and chips was hard will never return gets worse every time I go. Such a shame use to be good

We used to go to papa's in Willerby but we love our food for here the staff are so friendly

Well overpriced 12.90 for small sausage small and I mean small chips curry 2small sausages 1 chips and gravy 1 b cake chips hard gravy watered down from day before I'm sure won't be returning ☹️

A friend and I were working locally and had arrived in Patrington after a long drive. We were warmly welcomed into the shop and as we didn't have anywhere to go ate our fish and chips in the shop. They were SUPERB! Freshly cooked, tasty, great portion size alongside welcoming service.

The BEST chippy in town!! Freshly cooked to order, light crispy batter. The tasty chippy I have ever tried. My family love this place, even my pickiest eating kid looks forward to chippy tea now. Went last night and got large haddock , small haddock , large chips , I curry and I carton of peas . Cost over £21 and it wasn't worth that much at all , infact it was a total rip off and the fish was tasteless. It's by far one of if not the worst chippy in Hull

I stopped eating fish and chips for years as couldn't find a decent chippie but found this little gem and can honestly say its the best fish and chips I've tasted. Staff are lovely and friendly. Amazing job guys. Looking forward to Friday night tea 😋 👏

Was recommended by my father in law to try,and really glad we did.I ordered an xl haddock,chips,curry and regular haddock,chips,mushy peas and breadcake for wife and can honestly say that will take some doing to get a better fish and chips than that,it was one of the best me and my wife have ever had!Thank you very much and will back again next week :)

We went for cod and chips only to be told they don’t serve cod…just Haddock… The fish was skin on, the very small portion of chips were underdone and, all in all, a mediocre supper best forgotten…

I asked for a lightly battered fish, which was duly provided. The fish was very fresh if a little 'wet.' The chips were superb. All in all, very nice!

Really expensive.. my cousin ordered fish chips and a pattie and it was over £10 and I ordered fish jumbo sausage then a sausage chips and gracy and it was £12.45 ridiculous. Rip offs as wasn't very nice

I have been once or twice in the past and found it to be fine so I'm quite surprised at just much it had gone down hill. I ordered a small fish with a pattie and chips which cost £7.50. Firstly I was surprised at how little there was for the money, secondly oit was old and the cc hips had been cooked for some time. I won't be going back. This is the first time I have ever left a review on anything.

I am staying in Patrington 1 night for work and tried my best to walk past as I am on a diet, I am glad I didn't. I have just had the best fish and chips I have had in years! The place was spotless too with excellent Covid measures in place. If I ever have to come back I will definitely go again.

Still open in these strange times and just as good as ever! Covid safe with telephone or walk up orders (we use telephone to order a collection slot time)....food as good as ever, cooked to perfection and totally fresh. Best in the area by a country mile!

Best fish and chips in Hull. Love their Corned beef patties and their Cheese and onion patties. Dog loves her Jumbo sausages - which are a treat for her and owner cooks for her without batter. Staff are friendly and efficient. Portions are very good too. (I can usually only manage a small portion of chips! ) Highly recommended

Just had a tasty chippy tea from here. I had Haddock, chips and curry sauce, and the Hubble had fish cake, chips and curry sauce. Really enjoyed it. Will definitely call again when in the area.

Without doubt best fish and chips in Hull and the East Yorkshire very friendly family business these their chips alone in my opinion are the best anywhere.

The queuing here is a bit chaotic with locals being served before "tourists" but nonetheless the freshest fish you could possibly have. But share the chips they are enormous!

Lovely food cooked fresh and to perfection. I had a fish fritter with chips and delicious fruity curry sauce. I couldn't believe the amount of fish fillet I got!(thick fillet, very tasty!) Will definitely buy it again! Staff are polite and friendly too! Very much recommended!
