Exhibition comprises two main rooms. Both populated by work from the same artist. Not hugely impressed with the displayed work and felt the £8 each was an expensive mistake. To be fair, we did not manage to see the other gallery in Penzance, which might have made the fee seem more reasonable.

Great space and cafe with regularly changing exhibitions. Recent one was around climate change which was interesting and more conceptual art then traditional. Seems to have annoyed a few recent reviewers! Perhaps they should consider the location of the venue and the impact a changing climate will have on the locals. Very friendly staff and cafe with great views across the bay.

This (and The Exchange) were a huge disappointment for us - the Newlyn group would have been spinning in their graves over the complete lack of Art. In both places it was just an environmental protest exhibition. Really, don't waste your money on visiting here - it's terrible.

Really disappointed with our visit. I thought there would be something about the Newlyn group of artists. Sadly it was a preachy display about climate change. Congratulations to the Newlyn Gallery for their charming and innovative temporary outside cafe based in their garden and (with permission from the council ) on Newlyn Green. Just a few deckchairs and a couple of benches which look out to the sea, do not stop everyone using the green and have the best views in Newlyn. Lovely coffee, relaxing and great place to sit and watch the sea for visitors and locals. Friendly welcoming staff who are working their hardest to keep this gallery operating in very difficult times. I live locally and appreciate having this historic gallery with an international reputation on my doorstop. It attracts many visitors to this area and is a great asset for Newlyn. Hope what they have done with the cafe can become a permanent fixture in the summer months.

I loved the building and general facilities but was really disappointed with the Rosie Wylie Exhibition. Her video really needed subtitles as you couldn’t understand and the art whilst being free and loose held no connection with Cornwall or the sea. It’s was very poorly curated. A museum like this should connect the sea, Cornwall and local artists and inspire.

The Newlyn Gallery is small and is more of a creative arts space than a serious art gallery. However, I am giving it five stars because it is such a friendly and welcoming place and the view from the first floor café is amazing. The food offer in the café is limited, but the décor is arty and tasteful and the coffee was good. I went out of season so it was quiet. I would definitely go again.

The cafe in the art gallery is a good place to start before visiting the town. In the town is a good mix of chain stores and individual shops. Penzance was busy with tourists and locals. The parish church is worth visiting. The interior was badly damaged by fire about 30 years ago, but it has risen like a Phoenix from the ashes. The Methodist Church is also worth visiting. Methodism is intrinsically linked with the history of Cornwall. Near the Methodist Church is the home of the Branwell family. I had no idea they lived in Penzance. They were related to the Brontes of Haworth.

This small cafe serves excellent coffee - unlike many such places, they bother to warm the cups, so you don't get a cold pile of froth instead of a cappuccino. The cakes are nice, too! We were really excited to be visiting Newlyn Art Gallery for the first time since the extension was there, and in particular had heard great things about the new cafe with its wonderful sea-views. We arrived, though, to find only one savoury option on the menu. When we checked this with the guy behind the counter, who was very slowly chopping a tomato, he told us that they were winding down for the winter and suggested we should go to the pub round the corner. since our time was limited, I said I'd order the single option, but he said to sit down and he'd come over to take the order. He went on chopping the tomato. 20 minutes later he was still chopping, so we left.

Went to the Quakertown store Friday, Nov 15th to purchase a new dishwasher. The lady in the department was busy flirting with a male employee. My wife approached the female clerk telling her we have questions. The clerk moved in our direction a few feet and asked what we want to know. My wife asked about colors. By now the clerk was irritatated and hollered back ‘they only come in stainless’. With that, we went to home depot and bought a dishwasher and refrigerator in a slate color…roughly $3000 in appliances. This employee really soured my wife om lowes!
