New Season Chinese Takeaway in Sedgemoor

Sadly for the 5th time in a row the food arrived late. Not just late but very late. No explanation or apology. I love the food but won’t be using again due to the continued lateness. Also you missed the prawn crackers.

Lovely food and charming service. Can’t fault it. Had food delivered to our holiday let - it was prompt. Food really tasty.

As locals we have used this place since it opened . I can say all the staff are very friendly BUT the food seems to have gone down hill somewhat . My chicken with ginger and spring onions had no ginger lots of ordinary onions and may be one spring onion the chicken whilst tender was just big chunks not the best the shrimp fried rice again not much taste and container not full. The spring rolls used to be amazing but now hardly any meat in them . Its a shame but this place could be revived with a little more care and attention and flavour!

Excellent tasting food and good customer service. Very tasty and delicious, well worth the wait. Definitely recommend.

We’ve used it a few times, I’m afraid on our 3rd takeaway in the last 9 months they just tipped us over the edge. They forgot the sweet and sour sauce, trivial maybe but it just ruined a meal for some one. Refused to refund the meal and just sent it out over 15 minutes after we received our meal. Bearing in mind we waited over 45 minutes after an 8pm order (not the busiest time) so disappointed. I just wish I hadn’t bothered now and collected it from my usual. Teach me for being lazy. Don’t waste your time, the reviews speak for themselves. I won’t be lazy again.

Another dirty place in burnham on sea, needs a good re paint the staff were pleasant, ribs were tasteless the rice very dark brown and the satay was so hot I couldn't eat it . Unfortunately the only Chinese take away open apart from the restaurant.

Ordered online for collection which was easy and could select a time slot. Super friendly staff when got to the place and food all fresh and hot. Curry in particular was really good and one of the best I've had got ages

1 hour half for it to turn up warm and the food to taste bland, never had a bad one from here before but this has now put me off from returning.

Very tasty food excellent quality and spot on time with delivery many thanks we will be dieting again .

Staff polite and friendly. Curry and chicken in blackbean as good as I have ever had superb. I am from the midlands and will definitely eat there again

Food and service are excellent, they have the quality, quantity and price bang on - my only gripe is they're too close to us and we're having too many!

First time here. Quick delivery. Food really tasty and hot. The king prawn Szeuchaun was beautiful and my friend had the veg one which he really enjoyed.

We have been using this new Chinese since it opened . Tonight had a really great meal . Very hot great efficient service. The spring rolls were great value and full of flavour . The salt and chilli squid , you can feel the heat of the chilli. The shrimp rice was lovely loads of shrimps and the sweet and sour pork very tasty. Good value and better than most around here. Well done.

I had this chinease last night was very disappointed chips undercooked chow main under cooked with no flavour the ribs was undercooked only thing was cooked was the rice the prawn balls was way undercooked a big dirty curtain was behind the counter were could see people all cooking food left all over tables do not waste your money I find every takeaway chinease and chippy around brean and Burnham on sea is absolutely terrible I have not had a good 1 yet since been coming here

used this place while on holiday would use again if in area again lovely food and arrived lovely and hot

We’ve ordered several times and the food has always been great. Good variety for non-meat eaters, lots of fish and veggie options. Delivery has always been quick. As a local, it’s one of the best. You can also order online with a card, which some of the others don’t do.

New addition to Burnham selection of takeaways and not half bad. Get a hold of the menu and collect or have delivered. Available to order online or over the phone plus payment by a text message sent to pass details over. Chips are excellent, I know but once in a while you do fancy them!! Prawn toast is great, spring rolls too. Shrimp or chicken curry is great, Sweet and sour chicken or pork very good and the Peking sauce is something else. Throw in mixed vegetables with or as a replacement to rice if you fancy - just mix it up and go for it, very good flavours and great service.

We have used this new takeaway frequently since it opened. It offers great service and home delivery. The reason we have switched from our regular is because the food here is a fresh take on chinrsr rather than the gloomy version many Brits enjoy. We have tried lots of the dishes and have enjoyed them all apart from a chow mein that was far too dark. We will continue to work our way through the menu. We'll done

I decided to visit this takeaway whilst staying locally and I can't fault the customer service as I was greeted warmly by the lady at the order point, I was told to take a seat until my king prawn curry & egg fried rice was ready, I was only sat there less than 5mins when my order came out, I couldn't smell any lovely cooking aromas in the air like most Chinese takeaways but I was even offered some free prawn crackers. Unfortunately when I got back to where I was staying and opened the bag, I could see without taking the lid off the curry all this orange oil, it looked even worse when I did take the lid off as it was alive with grease, not very full either, I opened the rice which looked ok & decided to try and spoon some of the curry out with the prawns to go over the top of the rice whilst trying to avoid all the oil, that's when I discovered how cool it was & full of onion, no mushrooms & only 4 king prawns, so very disappointing for the price paid, the curry sauce did have a good flavour & was thick but unfortunately I have had so much better!

We thought we'd try here and really wish we hadnt. Flabby chicken wings, ribs with more fat than meat, a vinegary chewy sweet & sour chicken.....just to mention a few. The prawn crackers were the best part of the meal which tells you all you need to know. Won't order again.

Well where to start! Sydney from 2 doors up could of done better and he’s blind and death! Honking would rather sh!t in my hands and clap. Food was dry as the Sahara desert no flava and it all smelt of hands. I would not normally leave a review but I have to on this occasion it was very poor.
