New Market Cafe in Harlow

Found the staff good and friendly. Place was clean. But the food was so bad I didn't eat it. The fried bread was just fat and sickly the sausages were the cheapest of the cheap and for £10 I expect better quality. How this place has got 4.5 stars I will never know. Do yourself a favour and DONT GO!!!!!

This used to be a good cafe we as a family used the place a lot returned today ordered couple rolls, eggs on toast a burger and a drink each and this cost just under£40 the problem is the quality of the food was no way worth this amount of money late food arriving at the table 3 of us finished by the time the eggs on toast (I mean eggs took the longest) the place has become an over priced joke mcdonalds is better value and better food (that's saying something) for me total let down last time I will be visiting in my opinion avoid this place walk straight past and go to the next cafe 2 seconds down the path.

Under new management since the beginning of 2023. The Staff are super personable and welcoming. Huge choice on the menu but our visits are for breakfast. It’s great they have re introduced the toast and tea/coffee in the price of breakfast. Everything is great quality at a perfect price. Speedy service always. The place is clean. We just wouldn’t go any where else in the town centre 👍 😀

I visited the cafe with my mum and my sister. We all ordered breakfast and teas and cappuccino’s. Ordering was fast and seamless, I ordered a set 1 breakfast, with the egg cooked well (over hard) and my mum and sister ordered set 2 breakfasts. The cafe was spotless, the tables were cleared off very quickly when people had left. My breakfast came out, and the egg yolk was soft, so I sent it back, and this was resolved very quickly. I was impressed with how quickly it was sorted out. The food came out again, with the egg cooked how I like it. I really enjoyed the food, my mum and sisters food was cooked well and they both enjoyed it immensely.

Excellent service, friendly staff! Eggs are perfect and the place is spotless! SECOND visit! Best place to eat in Harlow Town.

Excellent cafe. Pleasant staff. Good cafe food. Seems always very clean. (They took covid precatuions very seriously) Very happy to eat there (which is a rarity for Harlow)

Myself and my daughter, 14 months took a wander and went in after the open up in May. My daughter loved it and I liked it too

It was lunchtime and as expected it was busy, always a good sign. We found a table, ordered our food and it arrived in very good time. It was hot, well priced and there was plenty of it. The tables were spotless and as one set of customers finished and went out of the door, the table was cleared and wiped down. The floor was also swept at regular intervals. The staff although very busy were all friendly and welcoming.

this place is a gem... shopping done we decided to have a late lunch here... friendly staff pretty clean... hubby had a cheese burger really nice... I had liver and onion.. WOW the plate they brought me was HUGE loads of lovely chopped up and nicely cooked liver,,, plenty of onion... loads of veg, and bacon I could not eat it all.. highly recommend this café.

really busy today,,, but managed to get a table from friendly staff member... food was as good as last time, plenty of it and nice and hot.

lovely staff, place is clean, great food all day breakfast good value, fried egg on toast just as good, we always go here when we visit Harlow.
