The food quality was awful: Reheated overcook food ; morning glory £15 tasted like it was reheated and served soggy. Rice was also overcooked and stodgy. The overall rating for this restaurant needs to be properly and realistically adjusted.

Attended a private dining event here. The food was served hot and fresh. A set menu for 8 to share of: Singapore noodles , Vegetable spring rolls, Pork dumplings, Prawn and Pork Siu Mai, Vegetables, Sweet and Sour Chicken and BBQ Pork buns. All were tasty especially the Siu Mai and the dumplings. I'd recommend here for private dining set menus. I'd come back for the dim sum. Also the Custard Tarts were delicious reminded me of the ones in Hong Kong.

Aggressive angry table service from one female staff member she was utterly fuming about something! this was our first visit to China town & this restaurant we don’t often get family time & our experience was completely ruined by this staff member she was angry from the start even though we were polite as usual Practically throwing the dishes onto the table ,zero people skills I was actually quite frightened by her in hindsight we should have left immediately The food was okay one dish was cold ,I very rarely leave reviews but I don’t think their treatment of my family was fair at all If you like friendly service do not visit

This restaurant is decorated in traditional Chinese style. As soon as you enter the door, you can feel the strong oriental charm, making you feel as if you are in a Hong Kong restaurant. The overall environment is clean and tidy, the tables and chairs are arranged appropriately, the lighting is soft, and the atmosphere is quite good, suitable for enjoying Chinese dim sum with family or friends. We chose to go during the weekday lunch hour and found that even though it was not the weekend, the store was still quite busy, which shows how popular it is. The service is also very good. The waiters are friendly, quick and able to respond to customer needs immediately, making the overall dining experience more pleasant. This time we ordered several dim sum dishes including spicy and spicy spare ribs, black pepper beef tripe, siu mai, fresh bamboo rolls, and milk buns. Each dish maintained the standards of a Hong Kong restaurant. The spicy black pepper spare ribs are salty and tasty, with a slight spicy kick, and the ribs are tender and chewy; the black pepper beef tripe is full of aroma, and the spicy aroma of black pepper permeates the tripe, giving every bite a strong flavor; the siu mai is cooked in standard Hong Kong style, with sweet pork, chewy shrimp, and cooked just right; the fresh bamboo rolls have a delicate texture, with bean curd skin wrapped around meat filling and mushrooms, and rich flavors; and the milk buns are the highlight of the trip, with a soft outer skin and a rich and smooth lava-custard filling that is sweet but not greasy. Overall, the quality of the dim sum in this restaurant is good and the taste is indeed comparable to that of restaurants in Hong Kong. The food is fresh and served hot, fully demonstrating the traditional flavor of Chinese dim sum. Although the price is a bit high, it is still acceptable considering the restaurant's environment, food standards and service quality. If you miss authentic Hong Kong-style dim sum, or want to find a Chinese restaurant with a good atmosphere for dinner, this is definitely a recommended choice!

Ordered: mushroom with greens, Ho fun Malaysian noodles, and crab soup. the food arrived quite fast but the noodles were quite bland. The waiters were overall rude and didn’t seem to care about providing a good service. At the end the waiters didn’t not come to ask us how the food was or if we wanted to order more and instead slapped the bill into our table. We had received a call and we took it quietly and even though there were a lot of free tables they came back multiple times shoving the card machine in my face not even asking if I was ready to pay or not. A very disappointing place through and through.

Was craving (what I call) Cantonese style crispy chow mein. Searched lots of reviews and menus and found New Loon Fung does them. So we ordered two, the Beef and vegetables crispy noodles and the Seafood crispy noodles. SOoo good 😋 Apparently they are just called crispy noodles, not chow mein. Also had the dim sum selection which was nice. The pork dumplings were just ok. Great service. Very very friendly staff and quick service. I'll be back. My belly is happy.

We went to this restaurant because the reviews were mostly positive. The service was good, until the nice waiter offered us shrimp chips to wait. Naively we said yes, but be careful it's not free (like in all Asian restaurants to date), they won't tell you that it's not free (it's £4). The food arrived literally 2 minutes after we ordered. It was OK but nothing more, and the dishes were lukewarm or even cold. For 2 we had 4 siu mai, white rice, a beef dish, fried pork noodles and a fried vegetable dish. The dishes were small but enough for 2, but the prices were excessive. We paid £56 for all of this, or €66. Honestly, I advise you to go elsewhere if you want to eat good Asian food and not just basic dishes.

Terrible service, unbelievably rude waiters. Wanted to order the “stir-fried scallops with seasonal greens” and asked the waiter what greens they had in at the moment: “It’s as it says, seasonal greens.” “Ok, what are the greens this season?” “I just told you, it’s seasonal greens. It’s whatever vegetables the chef has in that day.” “No problem, do you know what greens the chef has in today?” “No, it’s seasonal.” Regrettably went with it anyways and was served scallops that were far from stir-fried and almost definitely boiled, covered in some strange slimy sauce on a bed of overcooked pak choi — all for £17.80. When ordering, the waiter also got incredibly irate when I asked him the difference between crispy aromatic and peking duck, as these terms are often used interchangeably and their menus don’t have any descriptions. He said the former was shredded and the latter sliced, and when I asked him if there was any difference in how it was cooked, he proceeded to lean over the table and shout in my face the fact that one was deep-fried and the other roasted. It’s almost like they don’t want you to order their food.

Their waiter said it was so we ordered it After it arrived I asked a different staff member if any of the sauces they’d provided were gluten free Cue the panic from the staff as the duck was marinated in gluten soy sauce After a 15 minute talk with staff as they try to work out what actually is gluten free as their whole set menu apparently contained gluten Having to reorder, and settle for a chicken dish with no flavour and was very underwhelming And instead I’d paying £12.50 a head we ended up having to pay over £45, almost twice the price. Service was rude. First, I asked for water and they said bottled or tap? I said tap and that triggered an aggressive upsell that ended in me getting tea instead. Then when we received our food we had an extra plate. I immediately let the server know we didn't order it. He insisted I did because of a circle the waitress drew around another item that I ordered which confused them. I gave up trying to convince him and I tried to reason with another server because if the waitress circled every item then why was there only 1 circle for those 2 items? She also accused me of making the mark and instead of escalating things further I gave up and paid for the extra item. This could easily have been avoided by having a separate pen color for the servers and customers. Also, repeating the order to the customer before placing it is common practice. I highly recommend trying one of the many other options in the area because the dim sum was average and NOT WORTH THE FRUSTRATION.

Peking Duck, hot and sour soup, crispy shredded chili beef, singapore noodles and a deep fried banana in syrup. What more could one ask for? Good service, clean, good experience.

We don’t typically have great Chinese food where I’m from so I really wanted to get something good while in London. This place takes the cake. We got the set dinner for two: mixed appetizer, crispy duck, black bean sauce chicken, etc. It blew us out of the water. Excellent food and despite being slammed, we had excellent service.

Sad, overpriced and cannot be improved. Plates looking like £0.75 each, you'll be paying £45. When you are looking for a meal in London and you are hoping you won't end up in an overpriced slum,- so that's the one.

I strongly advise to avoid this place...the staff are incompetent. No card payment facility. The ATM didn’t dispense correct cash. The drinks are awful and the food is terrible at best ! Carlton Lounge is much better for Shesha and food and is in a much better setting, this place is more of a make-shift smokers den at the back of your garden...

I think this place might have closed now. I tried 4/5 to order over the phone then I went down in person but the place was closed. Feel sad that they've closed. Used to enjoy their food
