Ordered Take Away from the Marble Arch branch last week and the food was dry and not hot. It tastes like it was sat ready and waiting for a while even though I was there on time of the collection. I was too hungry and cold to go back and complain but for some reason this branch is not as good as the Wigmore Street branch.

I needed a decent lunch. A quiet place to charge my phone and people watch. Service was excellent. Lovely young black chap, very warm and gave me free green tea, which went well with my noodles and yuzu cheesecake. Just perfect for a recharge, the phone and me.

I got food poisining today !! I ate Yaki Udon in Wagamama around 19:30 then when i slept around 24:00 at home, after 1 hour i woke up with terrible stomach ache and had diarrhea! That was from the chicken pieces which were tasting already terrible:((

Ordered a fire cracker which came out cold. The customer service was shocking. When I sent my food back after arguing with the guy to have a fresh one he came back and told it was fine … eventually they cooked my a fresh one however the cook sneezed over my food which kinda put me off. Stay clear !!

Very nice and cozy place located right next to marble arch. Have visited couple of times with some friends to try the Ramen. I had the beef brisket Ramen which I enjoyed very much and my friend had a katsu chicken rice. We have also tried the duck and veggie gyoza which are very delicious too. I'll be a regular visitor especially now that the weather is colder!

I want to start out bt saying the food was amazing, great quality as always. However the service was disgusting, had to find my own cultlury and had to wave for a good few mins each time to get them to take drink or food order, and the bill. The restaurant was very quiet so very unsure why this was the case. We have been in lots of wagamummas up and down the country and never had this issue, truly disgusting service!

I had an awful experience at this restaurant. I waited an excessively long time for my food, and by the time it arrived, everyone else had nearly finished their meals. When it finally came, it contained chicken, despite me being vegan! The staff member took the dish away, and to my shock, I saw my correct dish had been mistakenly served to another table. Even worse, they retrieved the dish from the other table and brought it to me—after it had already been touched, with someone else’s spoon inside! This was disgusting and completely put me off my meal. Thankfully, I noticed what was happening, but it made me wonder how often they do this. I’ll never eat here again, and if you do, make sure to watch closely where your food comes from!

Thought this would be good , sadly was very disappointed. Service from the waiter was dreadful! He forgot to give the kitchen one of our orders and had to be reminded. Then he apologised and said he took it off the bill , but when the bill came it was still on there. Suffice to say we paid and left. Food was borderline ok. Won’t be back … ever.

The place is nice and the food as well but the staff there are soooooooo bad if I could put even -star I would do it, so I had my lunch today there and I was talking on the phone the gentleman came and took my plate without even asking me and I didn’t even finish my food, I told I still didn’t finish and after putting all the rubbish inside the plate his asking me you want me to pack it for you. I just paid straight away and left but before that I asked to speak to the manager and unfortunately that was the manager who did all this. I would never go back there again and I don’t recommend anyone to go, the staff are unprofessional 👎🏻

The worse experience of my life in restaurant.The waiter insulting and abusing, because I complained about delay in food & drinks, last but not least charging for the stuff which wasn’t served.Instead of apologies, he started shouting and told me that is the way it’s done in this restaurant.Though my wife and myself been Wagamama guests since they opened in London.The short young guy in his 20’s with a wollen cap on his head started calling F… words to me(I am in my 70’s) because I had complained politely about bad service. Moreover,I got my main course 40 minutes after my wife already had finished with her lunch. That was it Wagamama, you will never see us again if you don’t employ staff who know how to behave with the clients.

Went here a couple of times on a recent visit to London - as it was convenient and we love noodles (no Wagamama where we live). The restaurant wasn’t overly busy, staff both times - (one lunch for one, one dinner for two) were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The lunchtime I was on my own and I sat outside - which seemed to be an unusual request and I was asked if I was warm enough a couple of times, so I was well looked after. Food was excellent - cooked to order both times as I had Salmon (lunch) and steak (dinner) Teriyaki soba. Cocktails were great too - I tried out the Thai chilli margarita (which was unusual but very nice) and the strawberry daiquiri.

We went for dinner last night to this restaurant. I have been to other Wagamama as well but the service here is very poor. The seating is very uncomfortable and you forced to sit on these stools (without back support). The service is very poor and they not friendly at all.

We told them we were in a bit of a hurry, and then waited far too long for our food, which came in a series so we couldn't eat together, and when the cheese cake took way too long to arrive, we asked again, got it, and it was semi frozen. Despite reading all the bad reviews I decided to give it a go anyway and I'm glad I did as the reviews and comments are old and they have clearly improved and gotten way better as it was relatively quick to get seated, helpful and friendly and Ashley seemed to be ontop of things and getting things sorted and was working hard to make it a pleasant experience and change what had happened there in the past, food was great aswell, I saw and heard a couple of customers complain about some things they ordered but it was them being bad customers trying it on to see what they could get but Ashley still tryed her best to fix everything and make them happy. Very nice and on par with other wagamamas if not a bit better.

We came in a student tour in late June. We had price fix menu of Yoki soba noodles with chicken and prawns, and a white chocolate and ginger cheesecake for dessert. The noodles were very good, and I understand we were on a student tour, but I think the portion could have included more chicken and prawns. The cheese cake was some of the best I’ve ever had! I could really take the ginger. Service was a bit underwhelming. They knew that we were coming and food took a while, with some in our group being finished while others haven’t even started yet.

The service was bad. We ordered three dishes for two adults and one kid. We got the dishes at different times, and approx 20 minutes from the first to the last dish. One of the dishes was mostly just rice, and didn’t taste good at all. The kid got her dish as the last one, and it was nothing to eat for a kid even if it was from a kid’s menu. Spend your money at another place than this one.

The food was poor. I ordered a shu's 'shiok' chicken, which I had in other branches a few times before but this time the dish was lacking vegetables and pickles. There were 2 or 3 slices of radishes and very few vegetables. The dish consisted just of rice and some chicken. Really bad meal.

This is local to us so we’ve been a few times recently. Unfortunately unlike some other branches of the same chain, the staff here seem to actively resent your presence in their establishment. The service is terrible. The food, if and when it finally does come, is fine. Hopefully management read these reviews because the front of house staff are really letting the operation down.

My first time and I went on my own for an early lunch on Thursday @11:30. Super friendly welcome, comfortable seating and I enjoyed the table height. Attentive service which I appreciate, tried two of the fruit smoothies- highly recommended! The food was super delicious, was served in a good time. I will happily return to Wagamamas again with my family, but this branch in Marble Arch gives great service. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Fantastic place. We ate here lunchtime Saturday 06-04-2024 We were looked after by a lovely guy which we later discovered was the manager. My wife is not food adventurous and explained this to the guy so he dropped everything and brought her a selection of sauces to try so she would have an idea of what to taste on her chosen lunch. The manager was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. He also reduced the bill because she only had a very small lunch, this won't be forgotten and we will use this restaurant every time we are in London. Classic, delicious Wagamama cuisine, but unusual service! First the four of us were given a table at the entrance where we sat in the passage. After our intervention we were then given an alternative seat. This caused the service to be delayed somehow. After we had menus again we were able to order. Unfortunately the food came one at a time. First an appetizer, then a ramen. Then the next dish, then another starter and after a long time then the two missing dishes. We have never experienced this with any other Wagamama. It was tasty, but it lacked flavor and was more like fast food. What's great is paying via QR code and table number with your cell phone. You don't know anything like that in Germany.

The low rating is more than what the management deserves. After staying in the local area for a week, I walked by the place every night and decided to go in at the end of my time in London. The servers are working their hardest to accommodate over half the restaurant, but only four are working. Normally I would understand, but the worst part of this place is that I was seated a table across the two "managers" who were conducting their "work" while having a beer. While my son and I waited for our server to collect himself, the managers did nothing but tell the server to continuously get people from the door and seat them. My son's order came and we had no cutlery, and after flagging down another server, she kindly provided some. Our drinks came when we were half way through out meal. This is likely related to only ONE bartender/drink maker in the entire place. For a lemonade and water, most would expect they would take minimum time to make. Meanwhile, during the entirety of our hour long dinner, the "managers" continued to debate what days they should take off. One stated "I'll take Tuesday to Thursday" while the other didn't mind. They had no issues with the servers brining them additional appetizers and slowing down the already overwhelmed servers. It doesn't take a degree in hospitality management to understand when you need to higher more staff, or get in and help them during PEAK HOUR on a Saturday night in London! I see this place quickly losing business if they are unable to fixe their "managers". Before departing, I asked another server if the gentlemen sitting across from us were the managers, she confirmed with a reluctant face. I said the severs have done nothing wrong, but now I know the root cause of the poor performance of the establishment. If the management doesn't care about the folks working for them to put down the beer and assist with pouring a few drinks or sitting a few folks, then I wouldn't work here. It is one thing to conduct business in the dining area in the afternoon when you have about five folks in the establishment, but not at peak hour on a Saturday when you clearly couldn't work scheduled for your employees to cover a busy evening. The only ones that are hit hard in these situations are the helpless employees, and the customers wanting some average service.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER. First of all we have sit and waited over 15 minutes and when no one came we went and sat somewhere in the middle and asked twice to put and order. The ladies are waaayyy too busy chatting instead of taking care of literally ANYTHING. Everything came out was whether wrong, missing, left to another table(!!!), or came late. We had to share one plate without drinks, the second plate’s steak was basically mooing because waitress just THOUGHT to give rare instead of asking. The manager first tried to give us poor excuses and the apology was even worse with a 10% (£2.62) discount. She took out the first plate which came over half and hour into our food. I just cannot believe I paid anything to them. Totally regretting.

I don't want to lower your expectations for wagamama in general, but the food here was average at best. I have tried wagamama in different locations and would it's way better. I would compliment the service and wait times, tough. Pretty quick and nice servers. The atmosphere is good, but a bit overwhelming, yet not put-togheter enough. If you want a real taste for wagamama, try a different location, especially in other countries like Austria. I might come here again.

This branch is the best Wagamama to exist in the UK. The quality of food is exceptional and I did not have to wait a long time to receive my order. Ivan in particular provided a fantastic service - he was polite and helpful in guiding us through the options in the menu. The food was really good but the service was awful, our principal server nyah didn’t talk once except when she repeated our order, she just used signs the whole time. She never even smiled an ounce. She got our order wrong by which I mean she came back 10 minutes after we ordered to ask us what we wanted again. We had to ask her 3 times for a glass of water and at the end one of her colleagues brought it. The entry came after the main dish and I asked for not spicy and it was spicy I would go back to Wagamama but definitely not this location.

They made a mistake in our food, staff was rude and not that accommodating. Food was lush as at any other chain.

Open at 11am. I can never tire of the fantastic menu and food available at Wagamama. This is not the best for decor, but the staff and food easily make up for that.

La nourriture, ok c est bon. Le personnel par contre n en a rien à faire d être là. Just don’t bother coming if you are in a hurry. When it’s empty they are slow, when they are busy even worse. Friendly staff but just so disorganised. Been here many times and the one thing I would say is they are consistent - unfortunately

The service is so bad, when we order, the staff making order for us but suddenly just leave with any words then we knew the kitchen cal them serve other table, after she served then came back and continued the order, that is so weird, at least we are ordering not supposed leaving without a word! And we called one staff for the kids dessert, and then wait around 15mins no one coming, we have to check again, and until we asked another one she checked again then we finally got it. This is so bad experience

I went there with my Mrs. We ordered 2 main courses and a side (Rice bowl). My Mrs got her main and I only got the rice bowl. Asked the waiter where my main is and he said its coming. Waited 10mins and nothing. Asked again and he tells me that this is how we service. We bring it when it's ready 😡😡. REALLY???? In what sense should I believe that? He could have taken back my Mrs food, apologised that they messed up the order and bring us hot food together, instead of lying. I guess they previously got away with this excuse with tourists. This really sets bad example of Wagamama franchise

Got to try some of the new menu at Wagammama marble arch. The highlights were yakitori skewers, delicious and filling chicken hotpot and rice bowls. Have to finish with the chouxnuts for a tasty dessert. Definitely worth going to this is large and airy venue, conveniently located near Hyde park and the shops in oxford street. Good quality and filling food served by friendly servers.

I took my parents there for lunch.. it's been a long morning shopping! Food was very tasty and arrived quickly! I have been to cha cha moons on a few occasions and it's never disappointed me! Nice fresh quality food!

I think this place might have closed now. I tried 4/5 to order over the phone then I went down in person but the place was closed. Feel sad that they've closed. Used to enjoy their food

I strongly advise to avoid this place...the staff are incompetent. No card payment facility. The ATM didn’t dispense correct cash. The drinks are awful and the food is terrible at best ! Carlton Lounge is much better for Shesha and food and is in a much better setting, this place is more of a make-shift smokers den at the back of your garden...
