New Ki-Lee Fish Bar in Bristol, City of

Just got some food from there and the chips look and taste like they have been left over from yesterday! When I was in the shop waiting for my food I saw he lady roll the spring roll up on the side of the sink!! At the back of the shop No plate or board!! I won’t be eating there again

We bought fish and chips. Friendly and quick service. They take card payments too now (30p surcharge). Everyone liked the chips. The fish was OK.

This shop use to be one of the best this side of bristol. It gone so rapidly down hill. Disappointing for past couple of years. Keep trying every now and again. But they just can't pick up the same standards it use to be

Local to the area, so I buy from a local business that's family run Cash only which means you can speak to a human being aswell which is nice Only gave 4 star for food as its British Chinese kind of style but that's more of a joke than anything. Lovely service, people and food highly recommended

Sometimes food can be old but still tastes great. Cash only and family run. Normally a queue in evenings. The menu has a wide variety of Chinese food aswell as fish and chip shop options. All the food is well priced

food is 10 outta 10 always beef curry is amazing chips are better than any other Chinese. crispy shredded beef it amazing its crispy and has lots of sauce too I could go on all day egg fried rice is good along with the chow main my girlfriend had some crispy chilli prawn dish looked and smelt soo good she enjoyed her dish chicken wing and chips is always amazing with the hot sauce they have best hot sauce definitely worth a try I travel here just for Chinese the whole menu probably tastes amazing to be honest.

Not very happy about the food it was not nice the chips were not like salt and pepper also curry did not taste nice ask for chicken curry got mushrooms and peas in it special fried rice no favour lemon chicken was OK will not be going back again,

Just got some chips, was dinner time Friday, but even so, they were pretty quick, (though someone who came after, did get their food first 😤). Nice place, proper chips, generous servings, friendly service. A proper chippy mixed with a Chinese; I really liked the ambience. Will definitely go again. 🙂

regular chips looking like a small portion large chips looking like regular, the curry and chips 3.50 should be reduced down also with large 4.80£

Would’ve given it a 4 out of 5 for food quality and service but haven’t been for a few months now after I spotted one of the male members of the kitchen staff pick his nose and eat it whilst simultaneously handling and preparing food. Will not be going back here until the restaurant provides some confirmation that this gentleman has been fired and they quite literally cleaned up their act. Can’t eat from here now without having that image replay in my head and it makes me feel sick and puts me off my meal. Such a shame because before that I would’ve highly recommended this place which is why I’m still giving them 2 as opposed to 1 star.

It’s getting more and more expensive, the staff is quick and friendly, typical Chinese Chip shop, the chips can be freshly cooked or more often soggy and oily, if you fancy having chips and this is your only option then go for it but they’re not the healthiest chips. The curry sauce has also gotten really expensive compared to some years ago

Been going since i was little, family favourite so much so i have moved from st werburghs but i still go here. Ive also made it alot of my friends favourite. If you want Chinese or chip shop honestly they are the best!

Best Chinese about. Brilliant, always come here when fancy Chinese Chip shop is good as well, usually chips are cooked well and good portions.

We bought food from the Chinese part of the menu and it was really delicious. Very big portions so keep that in mind. They also do traditional fish and chips and sausage ect. Which we're really excited to try next time! Would definitely recommend!!

The food has changed alot since a few years ago, the prices don't reflect the food. It seems like they have taken out a few ingredients in their dishes I guess to save money, but yet have pushed up the prices. For me it's not worth it anymore, the chips at lunch time are never cooked properly. I usually order cicken chow mein which has just become tasteless. save your money and just cook at home or look for a different Chinese. They seem to be busy but I think it's loyal and local customers which have eaten there for a year's. It's a no from me

Great food, very consistent. Some would go as far as saying one of the best in Bristol. My wife makes me travel from the other side of town for their chips!

It's Ok, but could be better as before

Nice little place to get a quick meal. I was lucky enough to stay at a place that was within walking distance, so whenever I didn't feel like cooking, I was there. Great tasting food and really affordable prices. The fish and chips was good, the Chinese food was amazing!

Last weekend was my first time here in nearly 20 years. I popped in as they were closing at lunchtime and the sausage and chips was probably still the best chip shop meal I can ever remember. Yes, there was grease, but it's not a health food shop. Most importantly, the fat was hot and crispy...an ABSOLUTE must. In my opinion, it's a solid local chip shop executing the basics very well, and at a very reasonable price. That's surprisingly rare these days.

Good chip shop style chips plus a large British/Chinese menu to choose from. Battered fish unfortunately tends to be stodgy or undercooked. Staff are always polite and friendly however there is no seating but often a wait for most food items on the occasions I have visited.

Big portions of very tasty chips. I can't comment on anything else they sell.

If you lived near a chip shop/ Chinese as good as this you be so lucky, lucky lucky lucky

Tasty food to go. Might not be as posh as the 'award winning' fish and chip shop near you but they also do chow mein, chop suey and special fried rice!

Great local chippy with friendly owners-RECOMMENDED

Just ate a fried rice dish from there. I had almost finished and then "crack" i'd bitten into something really hard. I spat out the food and found a piece of glass and part of my tooth! I was in shock! I know that this may not happen often but I went back to make a complaint. The manager simply wasn't interested even though I showed him the evidence. After about ten minutes of explaining why he should pay for my dentist bill he said that all he could do was give me the refund for the food! £4.80 was all he thought my trauma was worth! His reaction was completely unsympathetic and down right rude. NOT the way to handle a complaint.
