Amazing experience Just a loud family but no problems with them👍

I’d heard great things about this establishment so I visited. I was greeted with a smile by my server and was shown to my table. My main course comprised of chargrilled puréed beef served between 2 baked pieces of flour mixed with yeast and a julienne potatoes……..or as they called it burger and chips.

Food was good, but portions could be bigger. Service was great .

Met here with some friends. Good table with plenty of room; the place was almost empty. Nothing wrong with the pub, it was OK. Service and food were OK, nothing special. Have had better, have had worse.

The atmosphere is warm and cosy, staff and very friendly and welcoming! We are returning customers and we love it here!

Went today with my partner for a Sunday dinner and the service was excellent, the staff were really helpful and welcoming. Food didn’t take long. Over all it was a really good experience- definitely recommend.

Very disappointed food not up to the old standards cold broccoli tepid carrots roast potatoes hot looked like microwaved meat edible cauliflower cheese cold with red cabbage under neath burnt so sad we have always had great food in the past this was very poor good point beer perfect we won't be rushing back

We arrived on time for our Christmas day booking and we were taken to our table, all good so far. We the waitress took our drinks order and came back shortly with a pint of cider for my 85 year old mother instead of a half so we asked for it to be changed, and that's where they forgot to come back and only did so when we asked after waiting 30 minuets but the reply was we have changed it on the till. By this time we had been seated at the table for one hour and we started to notice that customers who had arrived after us are being served there Christmas lunch and it was not until we mentioned it that they had forgot about us and promptly were served our starter and the rest of our lunch. Yes we know it's Christmas and the staff were very busy but the waiting service needs a lot to be desired.

Lovely pub, decieving from the outside, as its huge, friendly bar and table server's, highly recommend, we ordered off the festive menu our steaks were perfect, will definitely go back.

Between Christmas and New year can be a strange time to eat out. But the New Inn did us proud. Considering it looked like skeleton staff we were served well and the food was brilliant and very tasty.

Went for Christmas Day lunch. Nice atmosphere and clean. Food was nice although quite small portions. The service was terribly slow and, in the end, we left without finishing our meal. I asked twice where our desserts were and the waiting staff were clearly under pressure and I felt were not that interested in helping. A shame.

We attended the Breakfast with Santa event with members from Super Saturday Club. This club is for children aged five to 18 with additional needs. It comes under the umbrella of Keynsham & District Mencap. The whole event was lovely; and Daryl, Helena and Amelia went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We can't wait until next year.....

Horrible starter, prawns not cooked properly, too much lettuce and mayo, mediocre main course - mushroom wellington with only one slice of mushroom in it! The desert was very nice. Staff a bit prickly. No oat or soya milk, only cow's milk.

On behalf of everybody from Super Saturday Club, we had a wonderful time today seeing Santa. As always the food was fantastic and the service was excellent, thank you for looking after us all so well. Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you all.

Updated and upgraded review. Food was fine, just a little bland but good value and what you'd expect for the money. Service was much better than last year when we visited. The manager worked hard to sort out the intricacies of the bill so thanks for that. For a Saturday lunchtime it seemed very quiet but that's not a bad thing in itself. Parking was easy enough (the accessible bays aren't wide enough though). Definitely better than last year, many people had the turkey and said it was very good. Nice desserts. Abbot Ale was good. Thanks for your hospitality and patience.

We attended “Breafast with Santa” today and it was really well organised. Lovely crafting area to make Christmas decorations and cards for the children and an activity bag on the table to keep them entertained while we waited for breakfast. The breakfast itself was delicious!

I had booked a birthday celebration meal for my wife and family members. The main courses took a long time to be served to the table, and the appearance of each meal did not look very appealing. My son in law had a burger, buon arrival it was cold. He politely asked if the burger could be replaced, which it was after 25 minutes. The replacement meal was disgusting and was the same burger deep fried. My son in law couldn't eat it. My wife asked to speak to the manager to raise her concerns and disappointment in the quality of all meals, but mainly about the burger. My wife asked if some form of compensation could be offered, but the manager abruptly replied NO. He also said the first burger was hot when served, implying my son in law was a liar. His attitude was far from professional and should be removed from his post and the establishment. I have complained to the Green King CEO and am waiting for a response. I will not be using that establishment again.

If you like waiting nearly 2 hours for food and then it comes out cold, microwave mash, burgers tasted like they had been in a fryer and an extremely rude manager/ new owner....then this is definatley the place for you! When we complained he butted in half way through us telling him about the food, to say he quality checks the food before it came to the table and it was hot.... so we were called liars! He was not prepared to deal with our complaints and just walked off. He should be removed from representing Greene King. We eat in these pubs on a regular basis but have never been to one serving such bad food and with such a rude Manager. We will not be returning here.

Blimey.... dont ever complain about the food being cold. This was the rudest manager i have ever met. We were called liars, and that he stands quality checking the food before its served, yet since we complained and he refused to do anything, hes been stood at the bar! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I ordered Sirloin steak chips & onion rings the steak was soo tough I couldn't eat it so when ask how my meal was I complained thay offered me another steak to be cooked again same issue but even worse than the first steak plus I was given a rump steak instead of sirloin £23 wasted the meat was poor quality badly cooked and expensive I wouldn't recommend

Found this place, and what a find ,traditional pub,nicely decorated for Christmas. Food was amazing, if ever in the area again we would definitely be back.

Was a very lovely meal at the New inn at Farnborough. Eaten here a few times now and find it great food, friendly and has lots of space.

Lovely gluten free meal, pleasantly decorated for Christmas and well attended. Plenty of parking too and I wish we'd had room for dessert, they looked amazing!!

Been here a few times now….. My daughter is celiac so finding food for her always seems to be a challenge.. However everytime we have came heleena has always gone out of her way to make sure that my daughter has food which suits her needs…. I cant fault her…. Absolute gem of a host. And will go out of her way to suit her needs…. Great job

A good, clean pub with a nice atmosphere. Wide range of vegetarian options available. Service was great, our waitress Amy was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable on menu and drink choices. She recommended the mushroom pie and having now tried it, so do I.

I have had great service in this pub, from the excellent food and drink to the staff. Especially Amy Robbins, whose pleasant courteous welcome made me feel most comfortable and settled. Nothing was too much for the staff, so that it was not just a meal in a pub, but an experience, thank you very much. X

We came in last Sunday. We were warned that food may take awhile due to the pub being short staffed. We were very impressed as everything came out in good time, food was great. Kids had a blast in the play area outside. Shout out to the chef, as we found out on leaving that he was the only one in the kitchen! Great place for the family.

Says dog friendly but it isn’t. Felt like the manager made a big announcement to the whole restaurant that we shouldn’t be there, very embarrassing.

The child’s mac and cheese was tiny and a 10 year old could of ate it in 3 bites and it was freezing cold ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ the park was alright my child cut his finger on it and the toilet was clean 2 star 🌟
