New Haw Cafe & Restaurant in Runnymede

Have recently found this place and love it. Regularly visit for breakfast which is superb. Really friendly staff and good value.

As per title, I must have visited this café in a parallel universe. Its was horrid, smelly, incredibly rude staff, cheap ingredients all deep fried, swimming in oil it was gross. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Its also extremely expensive for eggs & bacon, and don't even think about deviating from the set menu, you'll need a meeting with your bank manager afterwards. To add insult to injury the wife most days can be seen sitting outside the cafe puffing away on her smokes scowling at everyone as they walk past. Yes, I am a local resident and see her daily. Avoid

This is our “go to” cafe, staff are great food is filling and never disappoints. And, they do the best coffee!

Have used this cafe for breakfast about 6 times this fortnight while working in the area. It's really good for breakfast, big portions, very good value for money.

I have only order from this Cafe via JustEat. Food is really nice and good portions. Delivery has been done via the cafe itself both times and delivery times have been incredibly quick. Would 100% recommend

We called up to order a BLT, five minutes and the order was done. The food was fantastic Along with the service, they even open the door when I was leaving. Amazing though I fully recommend this place

After a late Saturday night, we decided to get two bacon sandwiches and a couple of coffees to takeaway. The food was made to order but arrived quickly. The bacon was cooked well. The coffees were okay rather than great. It all hit the spot as a good start to a lazy Sunday.

Got 3 take away meals for office staff. Chicken dry and tasteless, rice horrible and not much salad included. Wouldn’t ever go there again.

A non pretencious, fabulous little cafe run by a focused husband and wife team who really do care about their new & returning customers. For over 2 years three of us used this cafe virtually every day for lunch; the menu is varied enough not to get boring and the portion sizes can be a on the large side. Quality of food is excellent (please remember this is a cafe) and never once of the serveral hundreds of meals we'd eaten between us there did we find anything to whinge about. Want a tweak to one of the dishes on the menu? - just ask !

I generally go once or twice a week. Breakfast at weekend, occasional bacon sandwich in week, if I am home. Clean, staff polite, service good, food good, good value for money. Not much more to say. Delivers what a cafe should, every time.

Not very much to say here. I have the same thing every time I come. great, great value A big plate of sausages, bacon, black pudding, beans and bubble, all served with toast and a big mug of tea. Alternative hair of the dog when it's too early for another beer

A reasonably priced & extensive basic menu which is ideal for the workmen who were there at lunch time as portions are quite substantial. Also note the more mature ladies using it regularly for a place to meet up. There is a friendly attentive lady who is primarily there to serve the dishes as are all the staff. Overall well meaning and keen to please. It does get a bit warm in there and slightly smoky as the dining area is alongside the open kitchen. Its quite tight on space and best for just the quick meal.

Popped into this place on Easter Sunday for breakfast, as the garden centre in Row Town was closed. This was my third visit as there is not much else in NewHaw and my friend is moving to the area shortly. I thought it would be a hoot to introduce him. I wasn't disappointed. Last year my wife and I used the place several times when we were forced to by the lack of local choices. First the good points. The place is clean and functional. The loos are clean and well appointed. Newspapers are available. Unfortunately it takes a lot to get a welcoming smile out of the large surley staff who seem to resent you being there. As for the breakfast; average at best. Tasteless bubble n squeak matched by equally tasteless black pud (just an oily black disk) bacon a cheap cut and a sausage to match. One slice of barely toasted bread each and a tea got me 50p change from £15 for the two of us. Back to the garden centre for us.

I go here all the time. a range of full English Breakfasts with any extra's that you want. They sell everything from bacon Rolls and Baguettes to a Roast Dinner. Worth a visit any time of day.

This Cafe is handy for the Broadway shops and also for passing trade along Woodham Lane. It serves no-nonsense food at sensible prices, has toilets and outdoor tables at the front. My first visit here, and I shall return!

This cafe/restaurant is a relative newcomer to New Haw and is a very welcome one. The proprietors have equipped the interior with simple but robust furniture with a theme of white and dark red. The establishment serves up no-nonsense basic food that will leave you feeling satisfied that you have had good value for money.
