The New Commercial Inn is a nice local pub with sports showing on the big TVs, a friendly sort of place and a nice selection of different drinks in one of the crowded bar areas I've seen in a long time, with so many spirits on offer (including a big gin section).

Higher Green LaneThis is nice Resturant in a scenic setting at the side of the canal . They have a menu suitable for all tastes a sandwich or a full meal ,there is also a two course set menu at lunch time for £17 . The main menu is wide ranging and suits most people. The staff are very welcoming and polite .

High Street Arndale CentreMy partner and I had breakfast here. We were quickly seated and had our order taken in perfect timing. We found this café to be adorable with very friendly staff working there😊🥓

43c The MezzAt least Costa Coffee is one of the original businesses still, operating at the Grand Arcade. This is one place that we visit and have always been pleased with the coffee and service.
