Good quality food , very generous portions.

It's a normal Chinese takeaway, very expensive now for what it is, £24 for a single person however enough for two meals out of that. Quality of food varies especially with the sweet & sour chicken Hong kong style.

Always go here. Love the food. Never had a bad order. Always collect so can't comment on delivery. Food has flavor and good portions.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever tasted so bland smells awful taste awful would not recommend! Overpriced too

Absolutely wonderful food. Came nice and warm. The chicken balls were absolutely delightful. The amount of food was perfect for price, big family get together really enjoyed it. Definitely need to eat more from here soon.

Great takeaway, wish I lived closer.

I bought a Singapore rice noodles and a chicken chow mein. It was disgusting. It tasted like water and had no flavour. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever had.

Regularly get takeaway from here. I think my favourite is honey roast pork with onions but we have ever had a bad dish.

Great Chinese which also does a good range of Thai and Malaysian dishes. Good airways tastes great and the staff are friendly

Lovely food - really took us by surprise. Had the pad Thai (very generous with the prawns), Nasi goreng , butter prawns ... very good service too.

This is without question the best beef curry that I have ever had, and I’ve had them since 1980. 5/5

Ordered a takeaway on a sunday evening and it was ready incredibly quickly, was told 20 minutes and was ready before we even got there! Food was also very good just as I expected for a Chinese takeaway and was still warm when we got home. The chips however didnt hold their heat very well in the paper bag. However, on their menu it says they deliver for £3 over 3 miles but they refused to deliver to us even though we were only 5 ish miles away (12 minute drive). Would still order from them again though.

Great food, pleasant staff and clean restaurant altogether I had an enjoyable evening full of food. The atmosphere was peaceful with chilled music and no roudy customers. Amazing place to go for a night out

Last used takeaway September 2017. No sweet and sour sauce, plain rice instead of egg fried rice. Having got back from holiday, for convenience we thought we would try again. This time, CURRY sauce instead of sweet and sour. Sauce, along with the menu are now in the bin. Shambles. Don't bother!

Just a simple takeaway last night. Good taste and prices. Batter on sweet and sour balls not crisp and chips soggy. I know, why are we having chips with our Chinese?? Otherwise fine

Just walked out of this place as they seem to be more worried about the takeaway than the diners in the restaurant, now makes sense as to why this place is always empty! Food took 90 minutes to get to the duck course but when it arrived it was cold to the point the fat had congealed and the pancakes had no heat in them whatsoever! We asked to have the bill and to pay for what we had and this is when we were charged for the cold course we never ate and then told to “never book” there again! Absolutely shocking service, terrible response to our awful experience and will NEVER go back and that’s not because they asked us not to but because I’ve never had such a bad experience in a restaurant before.

The food was amazing. 4 of us ate for less than £10pp. When we ordered we were told that delivery would be about 90 minutes so that was fine. Would definitely recommend this place but order well in advance.

Food was late, order incomplete. They delivered it late then argued about refunding 1.50 delivery fee. Awful customer service, food is greasy too

Best Chinese in the area. Having lived here most of my life I can say that honestly. The lemon chicken and China red ribs are the best!

First time dining in this restaurant. We had such an awful experienced. Long wait, small portions & its a rip off, very disappointed as we came out hungry to what we had paid its no good. We told the waitress know your portions is not fair to what we paid. And left very annoyed & disappointed!

The worst non crispy duck going! £9.50 for a plate of fat? We complained and they brought us a fresh dish, but the waitress told us in no uncertain terms that they'd never do that again. We were left shocked by this comment. Waited for nearly 40 mins for our chow menu with no bean sprouts and chicken with ginger & spring onions to arrive. When it did we had chowmein with bean sprouts and beef in ginger!!!! At this point.....starving hungry we decided enough was enough so we paid for what we had and left and went to McDonald's where we didn't wait for 40 mins and got the correct order 🙂

Last weekend was our second trip to New China Red. The first time we went for mainly Thai food, this time for Chinese. Very very tasty food, at reasonable prices. Our Starters were spring rolls and Hot & Spicy Soup. Mains were Chicken with Cashew Nuts in Yellow Bean sauce and Vegetable Curry with mushroom rice and side order of vegetable noodles. Very pleased, good friendly service, good quantities and great taste. Wine list was reasonable price as well. Overall very satisfied!!
