Freshly cooked food, delicious! Best chinese in Gloucester! So tasty, will definitely be returning! 😋😋 So happy i decided to walk in, have returned today! Again delicious 😋 ❤️

Lovely food !! Nice and warm !!

Began to add sausages to dishes, instead of meat, which greatly spoils the meal.

The food was left at the front gate and I didn’t receive a call to let me know. Luckily I happened to look out of the window and saw it sat there.

Great food at very good prices always very accommodating.

Not sure if this place has changed hands but we all felt the quality was not as good and the food didn’t look or taste as good as we’ve had for many years before.

Disappointing food this time. The temperature was tepid at best - ordered soft noodles and they sent thin noodles which I’m not sure were even cooked - they were cold, brittle and completely inedible. The fried rice was barely warm and wasn’t soft, and the chicken toast tasted like it had just been warmed up. Think we’ll give this place a miss in future

Ordered dry ribs but they came drenched in sauce. Otherwise, delicious as always.

Sadly the food was really bad today. I recon the place has changed ownership which is really sad because it used to be so nice. Chips were rock hard and not edible. Duck had lots of fat on it and was hard like it had been reheated. Ribs were not even shaped like ribs and were very fatty. The bbq sauce on the ribs too were just drowning in oil. Such a disappointment as used to love this Chinese. Used to order weekly, but sadly now won’t be ordering again.

Lovely food tonight! Can’t believe some people are leaving such bad reviews. Never had a bad meal from this place. Pork balls were beautifully cooked very tender and soft, chips were lovely, and chow mein was beautiful too.

Food has gone downhill. Salt and pepper chips now have onions and peppers in and are greasy, smoke crispy chicken has changed and is slimy. All food is just bland. Such a shame as this used to be our favourite Chinese - won’t be ordering again.

Has the hands changed?? Food was completely different chow mein big noodles chips was rock hard and most of it was cold! Not happy seemings we been regular customers for over 20 years

had to warm food up in microwave as was only luke warm, never had a problem before

So far it still has not arrived and if it is cold I want a full refund, This is disgusting service.

Beautiful home made Spring roll.Fantastic ribs and some of the most tender tastiest chicken I have ever eaten.Chinese food is my favourite and I have been working all over the UK and think this is in the top 3 I have sampled.I very rarely leave a review but people should know how good a place is and be rewarded for there hard work and high standards.

Rice missing, southern fried chicken covered in sweet n sour sauce. Generally very bland.

I ordered special chow mein, not sure what I got, but there was no noodles. Portion size not great, probably made worse because of no noodles. No way of contacting the restaurant via the site, no phone number. Only way of bringing the mistake to light is by waiting to review. I shouldn't have to trawl around looking for a phone number.

Honestly very poor food. I had spare ribs (£9) and I am not exaggerating but there is literally no meat on them! Absolutely terrible they think that’s okay to serve food like that! Also the chicken curry is tasteless. The chow mein was the only good thing. Will not order from here again and will request a refund for the ribs!

I only chose this restaurant because my usual is closed. It was terrible, couldn't get the spring roll out of the bag, it was so soggy, the rest wasn't much better, tasted of burnt old oil, won't be using them again.

Best yet in Gloucester over the last 2.5 years! Prawns in black pepper very tasty and succulent, nicely matched with Singapore veg noodles - highly recommended. (Prices still a strain on the budget however, with current economic climate - if reduced 10-20%, I'd be tempted to buy once a week instead of once a month!)

Prawns very dry and no seasoning. Chicken in black bean sauce was all mushrooms and 4 small pieces of chicken. Beef curry no taste, beyond mild. Chow mein not great but acceptable.

I ordered Kung po chicken with egg fried fried, vegetable spring rolls and prawn crackers. All the food was hot and the king po was flavourful. The vegetable spring rolls were nice and crispy and not overly greasy, my only criticism is they could do with a bit more filling, but overall really lovely food definitely order again.

Absolutely amazing, I've always gone to this place because of the amazing food, if I could I would order alot more than what I can. Never have to worry about chicken being under cooked or raw and the food just tastes outstanding. I absolutely love chinese and I've ordered from a few around gloucester but this is my number 1 without question and such friendly staff. First time ordering and really disappointed considering the amount I spent. Ribs were really bland and chewy. Singapore chow mein had no flavour and no spice at all. Fried rice had clumps of soggy rice stuck together, not enjoyable at all. Chicken balls were undercooked. Will not be ordering again. Waste of money

Fist time I have used you & I did because you had the highest review scores. But it was very disappointing and sorry but I won't be ordering from you again. The Ribs were not great, need cooking a bit longer and need some seasoning - you can't just put BBQ souse on them and think that's enough. No flavor at all. My fried rice was 3/4 full, so I felt cheated on not getting a full portion. The chicken curry was also a bit rubbish and the chicken balls were ok, but far from good. Overall just very disappointed and just can't see how you have such good reviews. Oh and the spring roll was also slightly undercooked / not very nice.

Lovely ribs, not the same quality of special curry, as this is a fav, shame it was missing special fried rice, rang new cantonese said they would send one out, fair enough but we were ready to eat our dinner and what was the point in waiting for missing special fried rice when the rest of the meal would go cold. requested a refund hopefully will receive this.

Delicious hot sweet pineapple fritters! My favourite. Also enjoyed my smoked chicken, little bit of a thicker coating/batter than I normally have but it was lovely, I’m really sorry to say though didn’t enjoy the beef curry and rice. It was lovely and hot but the curry sauce just didn’t taste of anything? It didn’t taste like it had spice or heat? More like a thick gravy, so unfortunately that wasn’t eaten and the rice was just a bit plain for egg fried rice but it was eaten. Would definitely order again I just wouldn’t have the curry. Everything was great, quick delivery and was piping hot still when delivered, the only criticism I have is that the curry sauce was a bit bland, could be spicier :) otherwise excellent all round

Half the order was ok half was far below expectations. Chicken with chilli and garlic was gloopy, chicken was mushy and there was no heat, couldn’t eat it at all.

First time using and was extremely disappointed the chips were severely under cooked the chicken in both the fried rice and the chow mein was under cooked and very mushy put me right off and it all went in the bin hence i will not be using again.

Always order from here its just the best Chinese in Gloucester in my opinion. I love the fact they still use the metal containers as i feel it keeps the food much hotter. They also do my favourite meal salt and pepper mushrooms they are incredible!!! The food is always great tasty and never greasy. I wouldn’t order from anywhere else.

It was the first time using the app and found it very straightforward. The food arrived much quicker than expected and was perfect. Will definitely order again.

Cannot fault service or delivery - both spot on! My problem lay with the food itself. Ordered Beef with Garlic and Chilli. The beef was of good quality and the sauce had a good texture (not runny). But there was absolutely no hint of either garlic or chilli - so basically a non-descript sauce with very little flavour. Disappointing!

The delivery driver was lovely. Didn't get her name she was friendly and showed great customer service. She just had a very cheerful and positive demeanour
