Best takeaway curry I’ve had in Gloucester for a while

Lovely food, have tried pretty much every curry takeaway in and around Gloucester and this is by far the best tasting Indian delivery around. Always been spot on for me. Highly recommended.

Delivery was so late that the food was stone cold. Really really disappointed, masala was watery today, bhargies were over cooked. Not the normal service or quality ...

Called for a pick up and they answered just to tell me they weren’t taking orders, they shouldn't have answered if that was the case.

Do not order on there app it’s food hub I ordered online delivery never came called the restaurant they said it was delivered I did not receive the order ordered at 5:30pm 8:00pm still no delivery Avoid

I ordered chicken tikka panner masala it’s very bad chicken in a coconut chutney and I never see any panner in this curry. It’s very sweet and looks tomato chutney we ordered seven people’s food in Gloucester royal hospital al are not happy this food. This is not a Indian food .

This take away is great the set meals are such good value always have great food from here and the delivery is very quick my favourite indian take away.

Would give no stars if I could. Had a delivery. Don’t order the chicken korma otherwise you would have a mouthful of coconut. The korma was full of coconut flakes! 🤢 They have always been nice so must have a new cook or something did ring to explain we didn’t like the korma and they wasn’t interested or even apologise. It is a waste of £23.00 order money we don’t really have

Always a good curry from here and I wasn't disappointed with the chilli mango chicken, has just the right kick.

We’ve just finished our first meal from chutneys and I must say it was one of the best we’ve had in a while! It was on time, nice and hot and the delivery driver was very pleasant, will definitely be placing an order with them again in the future.

Wife liked hers but my chicken was very dry (overcooked)

we ordered 3 different main meals and were all amazing in flavour and quantity of meats and sauce. My meal was a Garlic Chilli Chicken and this was the nicest i have eaten in Gloucester to date. So much rice came with the meal and we enjoyed that. Starters too were very nice and tasty. good value for money in my opinion. My only gripe would be the length of time it took to be delivered as is was at least 30 minutes later than expected, but this will not stop me ordering again in the future.

My workplace has been using this Indian Takeaway for at least 13 years (that I know of) and the weekly nightshift order would always be over £100. For that, they would always do us a deal like any curry off the menu and any rice for a set price. This worked out great and you would make a saving of a few pound. Over the last 3-4 years they don't do us any deals at all which is disappointing. I do enjoy the food and the price is good, but you would think that with the consistent ordering, they would treat us a bit. The guy at work who has been taking the orders for all the lads retired in June this year and when he mentioned to the management that it will be his last order you would of thought they would of set him up with a free curry to say thanks. He got nothing! It takes him 1 hour to organise the order and without this, they would be £100+ down on a Thursday night every week, which is a quiet night.

Chutneys has been my Indian takaway of choice for many years but the meal we enjoyed yesterday (Friday 31st July 2020) was exceptional. Well done Chutney’s. We tend to order online and collect as you get a more extensive menu than if you have home delivery.

No curry in the chicken curry? So must be just chicken and rice? Rice yellow and watery. Husband thought he was in a Chinese so asked for fried rice....

I can honestly say, hand on heart, this is the best Indian Takeaway I've ever had. Great food and great customer service. Highly recommend it.

Please dont call this as Indian food. Totally not worth it. Using too much oil, colour

Whats the point in using a just eat app that gives its customers regular updates to say where the food is and when its dispatched for you to then dispatch food 40 minutes later then the just eat app is saying !!! get a grip !! if your using the just eat app then follow the guidelines they give you not to turn to me and say well you should of ordered from our app ! ! ! and too top it off when food did finally arrive was about as cold as my fish tank !!

We ordered from here on sat 19.10.19 - I have to say we were massively disappointed. The nan breads were burnt on one side to the point you couldnt eat them, the popadoms were soft, the food in general was cold, so we had to warm it up before we could eat it, the bag of chips was half empty and to be honest was quite pathetic the amount in the bag, and the rice was stuck together in large lumps so we had to break it up . Overall a really really disappointing experience

They have rat's in the kitchen and in the fridges and I had food poisoning from them so go to the taste of indain is better then this indain

Foods good. Chutneys not your any indian takeaway but they do pizzas aswell. The indian food is really good. Would recommend thier donner pizzas. The food arrives on time and staff are very friendly. They delivered to the local hotel which also knew Chutneys well.

Best curry ever had in Gloucester. Highly recommend it. We’ve ordered hundreds of times and never been let down. The set menu is great value for money.

Quick service with a smile and delicious food

I don't know what the last person's review was about, they've been the only Indian takeaway I'll use in Gloucester for about three years now. Food is tasty, they are realistic about delivery times and never has anything to omplain about :)

By far the worst Indian I have ever had!! Barley warm. No flavour what so ever.. will NEVER be going back.

Great authentic Indian cuisine! They also do amazing pizza here too. Delivery service is great and nice customer service

Simply one of the best Indian takeaways in Gloucester, absolutely love their food, a great menu to choose from.

Can't fault the food or the delivery service we've had from them. Food is always piping hot and tasty. Set meal deals are worth the money as other local Indians can't compete on price nor get close to what they offer.

WARNING!!!! We called chutneys an hour and a half after we ordered because it still hadn't arrived, and was now 15 mins past the max time our order should have been. I was spoken to rudely on the phone by the manager who argued there was no way i had ordered an hour and a half ago, despite me having a screen shot of the order and time on the tablet. our order then arrived at 8.45pm. I went to take the food out of the bag, the lid hadn't been put on one of the curries, which caused the tub to fall when i picked it up and burnt my hand. There was also curry sauce all over the rest of the order where it had spilled during delivery. My order was disgusting and I had at least 4 chunks of solid gristle. I called to complain and ask for a refund and I was told by the manager I would have to call Just Eat the next day as they would give me a refund, but the hotline closed at 5pm (utter lie, they are open until midnight 7 days a week). He also promised me a refund. I called Just Eat today. They called the owner of the business who told them they would give me a refund and all i needed to do was call them. I called chutneys again and they refused to answer and kept hanging up the phone as soon as i tried to leave a message. I called Just Eat again. They then called me back to say they had spoken to the owner who was now refusing a refund. They also then sneakily cancelled my order (a day later) to try and get out of a refund, and it also means I can't leave a review on Just Eat. It took me threatening to go to trading standards and legal action for burning a customer to get my refund.

Can't fault this takeaway at all. Had food delivered from them several times now and it always come nice and hot. One of my favorites in Gloucester.

Love the Indian food especially the mint sauce. Pizzas are fab and always hot and its usually very quick delivery.

We enjoyed some lovely food here over the weekend. I highly recommend the rogan josh and the chicken tikka to start with. Probably the best curry I have ever had. We all said we would definitely have food from here again.
