We came in for hot drinks and sat in the sheltered garden out back. Our oat flat white coffees were very nice but my friends mochas were pretty much hot chocolate with not much coffee.

Visited today for lunch with a friend and having being before (and loved it) we were looking forward too it. However, we were very disappointed and won’t be returning. After ordering our food, I asked if there was baby changing facilities for my 3 month old baby, to which I got a blunt ‘no’. My baby needed changing so ‘no’ wasn’t an option. As the cafe was totally empty I asked if I could change my baby on his mat on the floor which again was a no. Instead they said I could change him outside on a bench? I did this as my baby needed changing, but I do not feel this is acceptable AT ALL. If we hadn’t already ordered we’d have walking out and gone elsewhere. Then to top it off my friend was sold an out of date flapjack! When she brought this to the attention of the staff there was no apology or care. Wouldn’t recommend anymore. Disappointed.

Best coffee in Ilkley. There’s lots of competition but this is the best I have found. Service was efficient and friendly. Inside, the quality products sourced was clearly important to the deli.

Miserable staff and miserable portions! Waiting staff were plain miserable & rude! Not a warm welcome at all I ordered the selection of salads as they looked great. It says it comes with a ‘pitta bread’ on the menu It should read HALF A PITTA BREAD! Ridiculously small portions and very bland. I requested they clean the table before I ate and was given a look of disdain from the girl with the glasses on. Awful service! Don’t bother!

What a delightful deli cafe! I can see why it's so popular, both as a cafe and for takeaway food and drink. Four of us called in between sessions at Ilkley Literature Festival and we all loved the food we had ordered. The quiche with salad was simply delicious and my friends who had the sandwiches really enjoyed those as well. The cakes looked fabulous too. I ordered a weak, decaf latte and it was perfect. I discovered this deli/cafe simply by accident - the owner/shop assistant was kind enough to allow me to use the toilet before I started a walk with my walking group nearby. Otherwise, I'd never have realised it was there or seen the delicious looking (and tasting) homemade dishes there. We will be back again this coming week between our Ilkley Literature Festival sessions. Highly recommended, both as a cafe and takeaway ... and for the deli produce.

Little gem in Ilkley. Second visit today getting the same breakfast bagel and I can’t speak highly enough of it. Staff really nice, cooked my order to exactly how I asked for it. Would definitely keep going back to eat the exact same thing

Ate here Saturday lunch early June, we opted to sit in the garden to the rear of the Deli, a very rustic/relaxed area with half a dozen tables. The menu had a varied choice of dishes, most of which you can see displayed in the fridge at the front of the deli, we choose a mixture of filled wraps, tuna crunch and I had the salad bowl, a generous portion which was nice and fresh but did lack flavour, it had a chickpea salad, coleslaw, potato salad and a mixed bean dish, the coleslaw and potato salad were made with mayonnaise, it would have been great had it had a hint of chilli or citrus, the bowl came with a pitta, I think a chunk focaccia would have been better. My husband had the firecracker chicken roll which he enjoyed but did say it could have been more fiery! The tuna crunch was good but a little dry on the thick cut brown seeded bread. With the sandwiches and wraps was a nice small salad bowl and crisps. We had a couple of portions of sweet potato fries with a Mayo and sweet chilli dip, these were very tasty! I would definitely eat here again but would look at the salad options before ordering a bowl again, I’m sure the options change daily. Service was good and friendly.

Wow! A friend recommended lunch here today for myself and my daughter and I’m so glad that she did. We had an open prawn sandwich, kids tuna sandwich, hot chocolate and berry smoothie. The freshness, flavour and high quality of the ingredients makes this a little gem of a place. The waiting on staff have been lovely and efficient too. Testament to how good it is I’m writing a review whilst still sat here (about to order some cakes!) and I have never written a review in Trip Advisor before, despite using it frequently. (My only suggestion would be vegetables/ side salad with the kids’ sandwiches.) We will be back!

Great coffee and cake, but a real shame they stop serving food so early, it was only 2.30pm. Cafe was clean and warm and good value though.

This place seems to divide opinion judging by the reviews but we thought it hit the spot nicely. Yes, the owner does invite you in if he spots you looking at the menu but we felt able to walk away, check a couple of other places and come back with no pressure. Sat out the back where there is lots of Bronte and Railway Children memorabilia on the walls. Even on a dreary day there were decent views over the valley towards Crossroads. In the summer the terrace would probably be lovely. We had homemade lentil and vegetable soup each, two sandwiches served with salad, pot of tea, bottle of water and a toasted tea cake for £25. For Haworth that’s not bad. Food was served quickly and was good, solid, no frills stuff - ideal for a grey autumn day.

Excellent little pub. Great service, great range of top quality beers. The food was absolutely memorable. Enormous serves, each plate could serve about four people but we all tried our best to finish it because it was just so good.
