You don’t change your name if your good , this has changed its name . The food tonight was a rubbish . Duck was over and over cooked , BBQ ribs in gravey . Worse £27 I’ve ever spent …. I spoken to shop … I let then know : bad bad business

It’s under new ownership, so was looking forward to trying it. If you like onion and water chestnut this place is for you. If your hoping for a good quality Chinese food that tastes nice , I hope your luck is in, ours was one of the most worst takeaway meals we have ever had, really disappointed

Having ordered from here now & then over past few yr it’s defo a no no now! Arrived lukewarm after 1hr wait. Forgot prawn crackers that we paid for!! No boiled rice as chef forgot to cook some. Disgusting Won Tons - waste of a fiver- dog ate them though. Mains just tasted of garlic & salt with meat in the mix.....but ate 2/3 of it as we were very hungry. Won’t be ordering/ eating from here again!!! £26 spent ...never again.

Don't know why I went back for a second time, more convenience but I paid the price. Severe food poisoning, loss of a weekend, time off work and a course of antibiotics. Be Warned - Stay away I've rated them one, same as their hygiene rating, funny that. I've also reported this to the relevant authorities.

Been my regular for over 3 year now every Friday or Saturday gaurenteed don’t let the negatives put you off food is beautiful never been let down yet.

We've been here a few times now and because we'd been told they were good we gave them a few more tries, but they use frozen veg in their chop suey ... their portions are smaller than some out there and their prices are higher than some who serve a higher standard of food. They won't go off menu either... we asked for something they don't make... but they do make the sauce and asked for ribs done in a sauce they don't normally sell, it is the first time a takeaway has said no.... and they weren't busy either. we tried to order from them last night but because they wouldn't make the ribs we came away. The last meal we had in here was in February (2019) and it will probably be our last... event though we did try.

Very good value for money. Quality food an reasonably priced. Currys and rice dishes are superb. Local pick up or they can deliver at a good rate.

It's a takeaway. It's perfectly serviceable good value and decent enough. If this sounds damned with faint praise it isn't. It really isn't!

This is , in my opinion, one of the best takeaways in the region. the quality and quantity of the ingredients is unsurpassed. Defiantly worth a try. Online ordering is spot on in terms of the delivery times.

I love Chinese food, and for years have looked for the quintessential Chinese takeaway which serves food to the highest restaurant standards. This one ended my search. We've ordered from here over thirty times and never been disappointed. Delivery: Usually within an 30-60 minutes. Ordering: Partly automated once they have your telephone number in the system, which saves a lot of time. The New Blossom House in Boldon colliery is on the site of the old Yengtze River takeaway, which was never one of my favourites, I must confess. New Blossom House is much, much better. Try the stir-fry chow mien or the sweet and sour king prawn. If you want to puch the boat out, so to speak, then go for Malaysian Belachan-style Deep Fried Crispy Dish...its hot, and never overcooked. My one criticism is that the menu should be a little fuller, but trust me; what they do provide is the best I've ever tasted. Another plus is that the individual food items and glutinous sauces all come packed separately, so you can put your food on your plate exactly how you want it and add as little or as much sauce as you like. The delivery staff also deserve a mention in dispatches - they are always very friendly and professional. Don't miss this one.

Absolutely disgusting first missed half of my order then when i opened it up it got worse wasn't even edible wouldn't feed it to my dog!! Don't order from here

I've had seven take-aways from here and they've been fantastic. The biggest plus is the freshness of the ingredients. The vegetables are crisp and cooked correctly - not too oily or overdone. My wife and I always choose the vegetarian or seafood options, and the vegetables in plum sauce is a superb choice. Highly recommended.

Ordered chicken with cashew nuts. The chicken was literally inedible....weird spongy texture. It made me gag and so every last piece went in the bin. Never ever ever again!
