We came initially for tea and coffee after some hectic shopping, but once we'd seen the cakes on display, we simply had to have cake, as well! My daughter chose cheesecake, and I had a naughty chocolate cake. Tea was refreshingly perfect, cakes perfect. Lovely cafe, we love Caffe Nero!

Typical Caffe Nero, plenty of seating and options. Location is good. Always feel I'm paying more than I should for products here but expectations are always met.

I had never been in there before. I had a dog and was alone. The staff were so welcoming. The girls serving petted my dog and couldn’t be more helpful. Definitely go if you have dogs. It’s not often when have my dog I’m made that welcome.

We love Caffe Nero and often come here after shopping, exhausted, longing for a sit down in one of the comfy sofas and a refreshing cuppa, either tea or coffee! Staff are friendly and helpful. All is good in Caffe Nero!

We ended up here at Caffe Nero for tea and cake after a busy day shopping and browsing through the town. We sat inside this time as there was a chill wind blowing although the day was brightly sunny in a brilliant blue sky! My daughter and I had tea, scented breakfast tea (we couldn't decide what the scent was), but my granddaughter plumped for Earl Grey, her favourite. We also had a cake each. All very nice, very clean, a bit Boho and always interesting. Friendly baristas, too.

We came in for some lunch on Friday 5 November 2021. This Caffe Nero is situated on prime pitch on Weston-super-Mare High Street. The High Street in general has deteriorated over recent years, with a number of multiple retailers having collapsed. The High Street is now also home to a number of independent retailers and vacant units, albeit some multiples and big names are still present. Inside benefits from good natural light. The inside is generally as clean as you would expect, a few empty coffee cups on trays and tables lurking around. Whenever I come here, it is always busy and they seem understaffed. Notwithstanding the above, the staff are polite and crack on with their work. The coffee and cake is great. Coffee is similarly priced to any other chain, but I find cakes here a £1 or so more expensive than the likes of Costa Coffee at the end of the High Street, opposite Superdrug. We had two hot chocolates, two cakes and a panini and a focaccia and it came to £23.00(ish). Overall, food and drinks very good and would/will return again. One of the pricier coffee shops in my opinion, but I don't begrudge it.

It was such a warm day for October that we were able to sit outside at the cute Parisienne-type table and chairs. We had tea which was so refreshing I could hardly believe it! We also had a piece of cake each, my daughter had a lemonny sponge, and I had chocolate cake (of course). Both were delicious! We sat and chatted and watched the world go by on Weston High Street! Idyllic!

We came here for a cup of tea as it was a hot day and we really needed a sit-down as we'd overeaten at lunch. We sat outside and watched the world go by. Very nice tea indeed. We love Cafe Nero!

In the midst of our shopping on the High Street, we felt like refreshments, and were very lucky to find a table for two outside Caffe Nero. Coffee was great, and the cake was delicious! So glad we decided to stop there. It's very atmospheric sitting right in the buzz of the main shopping street. Love it there. Highly recommended!

It seems a shame that more people don't come here now - it used to be packed some little while ago and it was difficult to get a seat. It's different now; we could take our choice of most of the sofas and chairs in the place. The windows look out onto the High Street and you can watch the world go by whilst sipping your drink of choice. The coffees are great as are the fabulous array of cakes. Come back, people, it's a great cafe!

Popped in here for a coffee with a friend. Coffees were great, but service was a bit slow. The staff were slow & seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than interacting with the customers. Also lots of empty cups & trays on tables. Had to clear a table myself before we could sit down. Having said that it was comfortable & we enjoyed the flat whites!

Unfortunately, after several years (yes years!) my friend and I have decided to foreclose on Caffe Nero in Weston. We realise it is understaffed but feel it is just not clean enough for us to sit and enjoy a coffee break, it really isn't! Members of staff could also be a little bit more pleasant to customer. Clearing tables an issue because of shortage of staff presumably, but please give the place a good old clean!

It wasn’t that busy but the staff where slow and quite rude. They just threw the plates at us in a childish manner. What sort of customer service training are they having. Clearly they all need retraining

The staff here really shouldn’t work in customer facing jobs. They have no passion and have no get up and go. The tables don’t get cleared quickly enough and when they do it’s done at a snails pace.

Popped in for cuppa & cake before heading back home after day trip. The two members of staff were busy serving customers, they could've done with a third person to clear the tables & wipe them down (had to do it ourselves) floor needed sweeping too!Only the disabled toilet was available to use, the member of staff locked the other one, she said that it was dirty & hadn't had time to clean it! Despite this I enjoyed my tea & cake!

Love the coffee, dispise the serviceOrdered my food and coffee (which was delicious by the way) but the staff are appallingEngaging in conversation between themselves (about a common friend) rather than engaging with the customersSo much so, I struggled to find a table that was free and clean (all were occupied, except for 5 tables that were available but all had mugs, cups and plates remaining from previous customers)Although, credit to the brown haired lady there (had a European accent) she did clean the tables down as soon as she stopped serving at the till, but the guy (short black hair with a beard) remained idol and oblivious to the whole cafe!At the end of time there I brought my cup, saucer and plate to the till to lend a hand, and the guy (same.one who was idol earlier) completely blanked me and another lady again, to which other customers could see our intentionsAfter standing, waiting 20 seconds (as there was no free space on the counter to put it) we had no choice but to place it back on my tableI have a coupon for a free coffee at cafe Nero, but either I'll use it in Bristol or give to a friend...service an absolute shambles!

The staff are slow and enjoy their conversations rather than serving customers. They don’t listen to their customers. The upstairs seating area is always closed off. The drinks aren’t as good as others in the chain.

This Cafe Nero is much cleaner than the ones at Wells and Street although the crumbs between the chair cushions are horrendous. Cafe Nero really need to sort their cleanliness issues because they are getting a reputation for dirty floors and chairs. The coffee is fine as are the cakes. Plenty of other choices in Weston so maybe start trying them.

We enjoy the food and drinks in this place but it's badly let down by the service. Customers where clearing tables for the staff. They couldn't cope with the amount of customers and where to busy chatting than focusing on their jobs. I had to wait 15 mins before I got served. The first member of staff ignored me and had to wait for the other member of staff to serve me. They need 3 people on weekends when it's like that.

Visited today and ordered two Hot Chocolates - On starting to drink one, my partner discovered a foreign body in the drink which made her feel sick - This was a Tea label - On discovery I went to the counter and the staff dealt with the situation very courteously and professionally with a refund given without question but this is not the point. This should not have happened and should not be allowed to happen again. What else could have been in the drink? This was a failure and needs to be reported as such and steps taken to ensure procedures are improved.

Mmmmm not sure about this one. Firstly it’s the cleanest Spoons I’ve been in. Nice space to sit in but there’s a few too many tables, this results in a maze that you have to negotiate to get around the place. The downside was my breakfast and tea. The teacup was greasy so a layer of oil sat on top of my morning cuppa. New cup just the same. Breakfast arrives and everything is looking ok. Oh dear, it’s only just warm. Really couldn’t be bothered to complain to one of the 12 year old waiting staff as the oily tea was almost too much for them to comprehend little alone the concept of the recommended temperature for cooked food. Would go back and give it another go. Hopefully next time the chief will cook to order instead of having everything ready under a heat lamp.

Disappointed as they only had one savoury and one cake option for vegans. Also I was left hungry after a very mean portion of lunch so had to buy a cake to fill up! The cake tasted synthetic. Overpriced. I won't be eating there again. Having said all this the staff were very friendly.

What an utter disappointment. At the end of past year, this was a vibrant place with really tasty food. Tonight was my last night for sure. Yet again, they didnt have the food on the menu and then the chef decided not to do tapas. With little choice, I had the Grounded special pizza which was the most unappetising circle of raw garlic and bits thrwn on top, with little love. So awful, I've just come home and put my fingers down my throat because I felt ill. Its better in the pan which is where I think the chefs love of their job is too. Unfortunately, stay away from this place until they turn around their staff. Front of house staff, lovely, polite and smiling, probably because they're leaving a sinking ship too. Bring back the Grounded it used to be.

I am shocked to see that this place only has 3 stars. It isn't fine dining, but then they don't advertise to be! The food was really good and coffee was nice. Chips were very good and that definitely isn't the case everywhere. Evie went above and beyond to help - she is an asset to the cafe. Free parking directly next to the cafe and lovely surroundings.

The breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked with quality produce. Toast was thick sliced with real butter. Decent coffee with warm milk. Definitely eat here again.
