Food was terrible, I don’t know how anyone could get a lamb curry so wrong, it had no flavour. The butter chicken was a little better but nothing amazing. My biggest complaint is the salad was old, with browning lettuce, which shows that they’re not even trying.

Traté a mi marido a un almuerzo de cumpleaños aquí como había comido allí en febrero y la comida era muy buena. Hoy fue "golpe y falla" Los 2 camareros fueron debidamente atentos y la comida se entregó en una cantidad decente de tiempo. Lamentablemente, aparte de esto, casi todo lo demás bajó rápido... Por poco menos de 80 libras, pedimos: > Mutter Paneer - esto era demasiado picante, así que el camarero amablemente se lo llevó y trajo de vuelta uno con cero especias y sabor - dos extremos! > Tarka dhaal - esto era aceptable > Garbanzo al curry - el mejor de los platos > Tikka Fish (pescado frito seco) - aceptable - aunque como amante de las especias estaba claro que las especias necesitaban un poco más de cocción ya que sabían 'crudas' > Cordero biryani - este es un plato que pido en todos los restaurantes pakistaníes, Bangladesh, indios y este fue con mucho el PEOR que he probado. Le faltaba profundidad, la carne que debía ser de cordero estaba seca, dura, insípida y con un sabor extraño. Ni siquiera estoy seguro de que la carne utilizada fuera de cordero o fresca y si lo fuera debe haber sido un corte muy barato... ¡MUY DECEPCIONANTE! > Ajo naan - un poco más pequeño de lo que solemos conseguir, pero estaba fresco con azotes de ajo > Mango Lassi - De nuevo horrible. el sabor de mango (de pulpa de mango) faltaba. Era demasiado dulce y tenía un sabor extraño de las semillas de hinojo que se comen al final de una comida para ayudar a la digestión. El peor mango lassi que hemos probado. Al llegar nos sirvieron con popadoms y chutney. ¡No habíamos pedido esto, ni nos habían preguntado si nos gustaría! En ningún momento tuvieron la decencia de avisarnos de que se trataba de una partida facturable. Supusimos que era complementario y tontamente tampoco preguntamos. Los popadoms son insípidos, ya que por menos de £ 1 vez se puede conseguir un paquete de 10 o 20 popadoms con sabores increíbles en cualquier tienda de alimentos de la India. Nos irritamos al ver que esto se agregaba a nuestra factura. El restaurante en sí está decorado con un montón de espejos rojos, brillos y espejos, en todas partes... no hay sensación de privacidad o intimidad... fue una sensación horriblemente invasiva. PERO lo peor fue el estado del WC. Mi marido, informó que eran repugnantes, ¡sin jabón, pañuelos de manos ni nada! Definitivamente NO vamos a recomendar este lugar ni volveremos de nuevo. .. una terrible decepción a lo que esperaba que fuera una maravillosa comida de cumpleaños!

Food was way too spicy for me but seems like this place is very popular. You must bring your own beer if you want to drink. Food servings are good.

I’ve been here twice, last came here for iftar where bottles of water were already set on the table. Service was very quick for a busy Friday iftar time. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had 3 starters, two chicken mains (one jalfrezi and rogan) 2 naans and one rice with 2 big bottles of water which came around to be £31 each. Will say the only things were we assumed that the water bottles they set out on tables would be free as people would be breaking their fast with them but they weren’t. And the chicken curries didn’t contain enough meat. Although it is a busy restaurant the waiters try to be kind and helpful. I’d definitely come back if I’m in Whitechapel though.

Food wasn’t great at all. I sat into eat for Iftaar. The waiter told me to order quick so the “kitchen can make my order quickly. It’s all pre made food. The meat had little flavour. The biryani was just salted rice with meat. The Somoza was again very salty and cumin heavy. The texture was dry and crumbly. The grill platter was very tough to chew and didn’t have great flavour at all. It just looks nice. I wouldn’t return here. Their palak chicken was nice.

Visited with my guests from Manchester (Bolton) here based on a recommendation. I assumed we get 20 percent discount however due to some misunderstanding that couldn't be applied. I massive Good Will gesture was given where tea and desserts were on the house. The food overall was very nice. Definitely would come again. Thank you to Ali bhai who was quick to help us get settled in with 2 buggies. Food came lovely and hot within 15 mins. All starters and mains where served quick. I can't fault the staff or food. Family place to sit and dine. My only concern was the downstairs toilets, they could do with a clean. Upstair toilets were fine. Nappy changing facilities available upstairs toilets too. Pretty cool I say

Ordered three kebab rolls, tasted horrible almost like it's been cooked from frozen prepacked kebabs and cost me £5.50 each. Chips was cold and not cooked properly. This place is a joke, never again. Extortionate price for what it is. Avoid at all cost wasted my money and ruined my iftar with this nasty food.

One of My Friend Recommended me to visit Needo Grill and try their Lamb Chops or Mix Grill, we order mix grill, chips, Chicken Biryani and the Mango lasi on recommendation of their Staff member õsama. Not bad, first time trying it out. Chicken wings tasted just perfect (not dry). We had mix family large platter £59.99 but also ordered 4pcs of lamb chop and extra naan bread. For iftar, I would suggest they add chana as a complimentary in addition to the dates. Rice portion could be bigger. Overall a great experience. Recommended.

It was fully salty chicken . And mix grill lamb was salty too. Last week was ok but 19/03/25 was horrible food I have ever had from this restaurant. Not recommended

I went there with a friend ordered sheekh kebab it was a busy night service was slow, understandable. Food arrived , looked ok took big bite! Crunch!! Big bit of the sheekh (metal skewer used to cook kebab in grill) was in my kebab inside the naan!!nearly chipped my teeth or worse I could have swallowed sharp metal ,This could have been very dangerous. Now I’m no trouble maker or nothing so i discreetly informed the waiter as I did not want to create a scene, I thought ok these things happen accidentally let me tell them so no one else gets hurt, anyway the waiter goes into one “no no sir blah blah blah” head nodding disapprovingly he tells me “no sir you go and tell manager and chef”. As I said before I’m no trouble maker and I didn’t want to cause a scene so on my way out I told the manager and the guy working the grill they both tried to make out I planted the metal!! I threw the money in their face and vowed never to return. I tried to help them by keeping it on the down low but their arrogance and audacity disappointed me very much. This place is a knock off of Tayyabs around the corner I would recommend you stick to Tayyabs unless you want your health compromised and be accused of stuff Disgraceful

Went yesterday and the service and food was amazing. They even catered for specific dietary needs for one of our party, with minimal fuss and genuine care. The first time in a while I was so keen to leave a tip. We interacted with three members of staff and all were extremely helpful even at such a busy time. The food was amazing as usual. I recommend the lamb chops (but ask for it extra saucy!).

I went her for Iftar with my friend and we ordered Tandoori Chicken, Seekh Kebab, and, Lamb Karahi. Everything was perfectly cooked. Loved the Naan that were fresh out of the Tandoor. Mint tea was a treat after dinner.

Mr Ali, I’ve followed my entire career and time in East London. First starting out as a Kebab roll store that Dr’s used to snack on after a few beers at Good Sam’s, Mr Ali broke-away from his Tayab cousins to set-up Needoos. Needoos is simply the best Punjab/Pakistan cuisine in London and possibly the world: having just returned from Punjab after a grand tour telling all my associates and colleagues of the food at Needoos (and dreaming of it whilst there!!). I take all nationalities and friends from around the world and it never ever disappoints - they just ask to go back each time they visit London. A hidden gem.

Went yesterday with my brother I got to admit the food is ok but I got some problems with this restaurant the glasses were very dirty had to swap it around,the restaurant was very cold didn't put the heaters on despite its winter now,also the customer service was so medicore seem like they didn't know what they were doing. Also they was a fire alarm in they it was very loud hurt my ears 👂very badly it went on for at least 10 to 20 minutes it's was awful and the owner kept apologising to us. but it wasn't good enough we brought few things and it was very expensive of course and also they charged us bottle of water. it's was big bottle we thought it was free my brother thought it was on the house but unfortunately it wasn't that ignoring. anyway would I come back again absolutely not not a chance I had better food than this anyway I hope people think before stepping into this restaurant.

For those who say Needos is the best Punjabi food in Whitechapel not sure what youre thinking. From the decor to the food this establishment does not live up to the reputation. The mixed grill was dry! Chapli kebab dry/baked(!) the best items were naan and mango lassi.

I called at 10:30pm to ask if I could come in at 11pm to dine. They close at 11:30pm and said it was fine. I ordered a mixed grill and chicken korma, but everything was reheated. The chicken was rubbery, the lamb chops were overcooked, and the kebabs were too tough to chew. As they were about to close, the staff kept hovering around our table, clearly rushing us to finish. While we were still eating, they placed the bill on the table, stating they needed to close the till. They kept saying we could take our time, but their actions suggested otherwise. Overall, the food was disappointing, and the customer service was terrible. I would never dine here again.

came to this joint a number of times in my weeks leaving London not only was the food beyond awesome in the spiciest way but we could bring in our own booze (BYOB) so we pushed it and instead of sixpacks we brought vodka to perfect mango lassi the lamb chops are to die for

Standards dropped - the famous grill no longer sizzling and juicy. Feels microwaved and put over a bed of raw onions. In older days it was steaming and sizzling when brought out and the onions were sizzling brown to show the grill was prepared fresh. The taste now leaves a lot to be desired. The king prawn karahi still tastes the same however- delicious. PS: a couple of devious approaches too - we didn’t ask for popadoms but put on our table and then charged for them and didn’t ask for a bottle of water but put on our table and charged for it. If I asked for popadoms then charge me but if you put them on table then surely it’s complimentary! I would avoid this place now - shame as it used to such a tasty and pleasant experience!

I've known Ali (the owner) for many years and have been loyal since the day Needo Grill opened. The food is amazing, the staff are helpful and the prices are very reasonable. With their BYOB policy, it makes for a great evening

Luego también nos dieron una botella de agua que no pedimos, así que asumes gratis, de nuevo No, 4 libras más... seguramente si no he pedido algo y lo pones en la mesa como popadoms y agua, se asume gratis. No, solo te están sacando de efectivo porque todo está agregado a la cuenta. ¡Se siente intencional y como una estafa! Este lugar ha perdido sus estándares - comida sabia y de su ethos! Evitar

Needoo was amazing. Our reservation round the corner fell through and they fitted a big group of us last minute on a busy Friday night. So glad they did because the food was AMAZING. And thank you to our server Mahmoud !!!

It’s been a pleasure coming here to eat. The service, food and the atmosphere was amazing. In addition, Mr Mushtaq Ali looked after everything whilst we were here to eat and try Pakistani cuisine. Once again, it was a pleasure to see and be around such a nice team.

The food and service here was amazing. As a white revert I felt incredibly welcome and they all went above and beyond. I was told it is the best Pakistani food around and so far nothing has come close to Needoo’s. With the owner being my mates family friend, the service was extra special and all the staff made an incredible effort. Pakistani Tea was amazing!!

Food was alright probably like a 3/5 than a 4. It was very reasonably priced but the food was just not it and my Indian co-reviewer completely agreed with me. Service was amazing but unfortunately the food was not on the same par. At the end of the day others might think different but its a no from me.

Great food and value for money. Unfortunately many restaurants nearby that are well known are currently scrimping on portion sizes but charging an exorbitant amount of money. The classic Sheekh Kebab in many restaurants are no longer recognisable, as they've shrank in size so much yet the price has doubled. Here the Sheekh kababs are £2 each like other nearby restaurants (Tayyabs etc) but they are of good size and taste. Keep this up and don't try to cheat your customers like many are. Customers are not stupid.

What an excellent find! We went this evening as Tayyabs was the usual malarkey of long queues. Excellent food, I’d argue better than Tayyabs but more importantly we were hosted by such a nice gentleman - Ali Bhai. He was impeccable in terms of his mannerism and demeanour.

We have been the restaurant for years now and the service is good, but on the last 2 visits we did had stale poppadom's and on the last visit, they have forgotten to bring one of the main dishes and that is the reason they received 4 stars. It wouldn't stop me going though as we love the food there. Our favourite is the mix grill, which it comes piping hot and it has got that extra heat on it. The chicken Kahari is another favourite of us and the nan bread is delicious. We always finish our meal with a pistachio kulfi. May 23 A return visit to Needo grill and we have seen improvement on their food and especially on poppadom's but the service is well off the mark to where it should be. The restaurant wasn't busy but after calling the waiter over for us to pay three times we got up to go downstairs to make the payment and then they rush off to get a payment. The waiters gathered in the corner talking, instead paying attention to their customers. September 24 Another great meal here. Enjoyed the ambience, service and especially the dishes we had.

This is a brilliant place for traditional Punjabi food. The grills and curries are awesome. Must try the grilled lamb chops.

Ive been coming to the restaurant since it first opened. Mr Ali the owner has always provided excellent service which ive experienced from his early days when he worked at Tayyabs nearby. The lamb chops are Needoos speciality and have often dined here as well pick up takeaways. The mango milkshakes are delightful! Nestling amongst the many Asian restaurants in the area, Needoos is the best 👌
