Very bad experience about iftar, they don't have any responsibility, it's looks like crazy people worked there, and very rude also just wasting money

I love this food, they are menu is good

The food is tasty no doubt but the service standard is on the poorer side I had booked a table for 2 and also order food then and there but as we arrived they said no food was ordered only a table booked on my name.Hence I had to order food again then the food was given to us 15 mins after the magrib prayer and thus I had to rush to magrib prayer without having the Iftar that much as the food came later as mentioned. When the bill was provided they didn’t give me any discounts but as I made the manager aware of this situation I had basically forced them to finally give me a discount of 15%.

We ordered grill platter and tasted good. They have very good deserts options and also Turkish tea.

Avoid ! It’s not a Turkish restaurant it’s managed by Asians! Terrible service , terrible food and it’s unprofessional! Selling drinks clearly labelled 59p for £1.75. Booked for 8 people and we were squashed on a table for 6. !! Never again!

We ordered mix grill and fish fingers, tiramisu, Turkish tea and hummus Food was amazing. Loved it all

Nice environment with good customer service

I am appalled at the downward trend of this restraunt, the quakity and service is very bad as i used to come to this restraunt when it was turkish ran, old chewy bread, spicy food not reflecting turkish cusine. The waiter rolled his eyes at my brother when he requested fresh bread instead of the stale bread served.

Great place n Service nice food the private room with great for functions for a small family gathering v of 10 to 15 people is very ideal

We attended a nikah party here and had a really good time. The food was delicious. The staff looked after everyone really well, we were happy with the service. Really accommodating to our requirements. Highly recommended.

Had lunch there after dhuhr with my son. Chicken and meat shish and chicken and meat shawarma. Chicken and meat shawarma not nice, fatty and smelly. Chicken shish was okish. Slightly undercooked. Meat shish was tough and rubbery. Surprised the only drinks were coke sprite and Fanta. No boycott? Order came after 30 mins even though restaurant had only 2 other customers. Rice was okish. Nowhere near as nice as in Ruyyams. Portions were decent size however. Salad was also ok. Music was on constant same song. Price on window is £10 for lunch. Went inside but was told it's £12. When window price was pointed out to the waiter he mumbled "menegar". Quite disappointed really. Probably won't visit again.

Food was on point from the starters to the desserts .I enjoyed the shish kebab .the gajar was a bit stale could of been served warmed would of made alot of difference with the ice-cream..but iverqll good was enjoyable and family ate till their belly was contempt

Platter looks great but didn’t find authentic taste. But we enjoyed there as we got old school buddies.

It is supposed to be a Turkish cuisine restaurant, yet nothing taste like it. It is mixed with Bengali flavor. If you offer Turkish cuisine and i pay for it, it must be Turkish cuisine not mixed. Gave them alot of chances to prove me wrong yet no success. Was last time tough.

Wow!! Visited after so long The service was amazing - we were given extra and they went above and beyond Food was amazing - we had the jumbo platter, So much we had to takeaway Well done maedah grill !!! :)

Best Burger ever I tried in a Turkish restaurant. Their reguler Turkish grills are also delicious. I'm very happy to spend my time there. The lahmacun is tasty than any other Turkish restaurants. Their service was really very superb as alwasy. Highly recommend this place

Best halal food restaurant in East London. Me & my friend tried their new Promo “Gourmet beef burger” . It was really tasty. The burger was more thn enough for one person.. the Turkish tea at the end of meal was really amazing. The waiter was helpful and smily with us.. coming back here again inshallah. Highly recommend this place.

this place was great 15-20 years ago but is now really dated. Food is ok but service was poor, ambience was non-existent. Worst of all it was freezing. it was a cold day and everyone kept their coats on throughout the meal (including the guys). We kindly requested that they put the heating on but they didn't. I know energy bills are higher than normal, but when your paying for a service and don't deliver, do not expect customers to return.

It is absolutely a marvellous place for a family dinner with great atmosphere, friendly staff members and most delicious authentic Turkish food. The price is reasonable and they check back on you quite a bit. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, it is an absolute 10/10.

Went there today for having lunch and tried their Maedah grill specials for 2 persons also chocolate pudding which was soo yummy. The grill was cooked well. The behaviour of their staffs are very friendly and good. Alhamdulillah satisfied with food, environment

We had a party of 50 ppl. Food was ok, service was good overall good.

It was a horrible experience going there. Found a piece of broken plate debris which my daughter bite in to. Called to tell the waiter who didn't do anything about it or even apologised. When the bill came they charged me extra for something I didn't even order. Had a really bad experience.

Me and my friend had lunch today at maedah after jummah. We tried platter for 2. The platter was really delicious and big which ismore than enough for 2 people. The service provided by Qashim. His service was Fantastic and he was always smily with us. We loved his service 🥰

I recently revisited Maedah Grill with high hopes after a positive experience in the past. However, this time around, my dining experience left much to be desired. The most noticeable issue was the lack of flavor in the food. It seemed as if every dish lacked the essential seasoning of salt, resulting in a rather bland and underwhelming meal. This was a stark contrast to my previous visit when the flavors had been spot on and enjoyable. Adding to my disappointment was the poor customer service. From the moment we entered, it felt like we were being rushed through our meal. The waiter assigned to our table exhibited unprofessional behavior by not taking down our orders properly. It was frustrating to have to repeat ourselves multiple times, all because the waiter was seemingly too lazy to carry a notepad. This lack of attention to detail took away from the overall experience. What struck me as particularly disappointing was the lack of follow-up during our meal. Not once were we asked how the food was, and we weren't given the opportunity to provide feedback. Even something as simple as checking if we needed any sauces or condiments was overlooked. To add to our discomfort, the high chair provided for our child was unsafe and had a broken strap. This raised concerns about the overall safety standards in the restaurant, which further detracted from our dining experience. As someone who had previously enjoyed their time at Maedah Grill, this recent visit left me questioning whether I would return. The decline in both food quality and customer service was disheartening. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and takes steps to improve the dining experience for future patrons.
