Best Turkish food in Leicester- great team and service. Small venue but great food and good portions Great service and great vibe in the restaurant. You can see the food being cooked which is very cool.

Came here for lunch. The food was fresh and tasty. The service and atmosphere were great. The meze platter is a great option and affordable. The food itself is a good-sized portion. I would recommend this place.

Decor is lovely, food was good but the service was great. The tall lady that was serving us and others was very friendly and gave us fast and efficient service. Will hopefully return.

Really tasty food, and lovely friendly service. I bought 2 Nazar special mixes and couldn’t believe how much you get. One of those is enough for two people so good news for me is I get to eat it again tomorrow 😊. Highly recommended.

Terrible terrible, Just had a platter for two all been burnt, Can’t believe Paid £22 and and put them all in the bin. One side of food was not eatable at all. Very disappointed. Never go again.

Fantastic Turkish dining in Evington Village. Friendly staff and gorgeous food. There are a lot of Turkish restaurants about at the moment but this is one of the better ones. Nice and cosy too.

It wasn't too pricey but then again the portion of chicken meal deal was smaller than anticipated. I was also expecting the traditional free starter of bread and sauces that you get in other turkish restaurants, however this isn't something that they seem to do here. The vibe also did not seem to be as lively. I would prefer alternative restaurants to this if you're looking for turkish food. However, it's not to say that the service wasn't good because the staff were friendly and attentive.

Lovely little place. Great value for money. Only downside is they only take cash and they do not sell alcohol. But very tasty food.

In my opinion this is the best turkish style food that I have had in Leicester. The flavour is spot on and the food is served quickly. The waiters are very polite and very helpful. I would recommend you to try it out. You won't be disappointed.

Very good food, decent variety for a Turkish place, reasonably priced and honest help and guidance from the waiters. A pleasant seating area, families tend to go. Hot bread and dips available on arrival. Minimal veg options available. Limited parking.

We had a lovely family meal this evening. The food was delicious. We'd taken my aunt and uncle who came from the states and they loved the food. Thank you Josef for looking after us.

I've drove past this place loads of times and always wondered what it was like so decided to give it a go this evening.. Wow the food was so fresh and flavourful, best Turkish I have had in the UK. Service was amazing our server was very friendly and attentive (sorry I didn't catch her name). The atmosphere was chilled and calm. I will be back, also telling people about this place

Amazing platter loaded with crispy chicken wings, what more can one ask for?

I saw good reviews about this place and was hopeful that they’d actually be good as it’s a local owned business unfortunately that wasn’t the case. No water served unless paid for which is fine however the water is served in 500ml bottles only, with no option for a large bottle for people to share. We had to go to the local store ourselves in order to get the 1.5 litre water bottles so everyone eating had water as the bottles the place was serving was room temp. The waiter seems like he doesn’t know what is happening when taking our order and the place doesn’t serve Turkish tea which is another staple point of Turkish dining food. Going on to the food we had ordered a platter which was only one that was on their menu. We realised that this did not have any ribs or chops or bulgur rice. The bread we received was burnt to the point it was snapping in half. The order for our meze was taken only for the waiter to return and say 2 items out of the 4 we ordered were out of stock which could’ve been avoided when taking our order. When our food finally arrived we expected it to be hot however it felt like it was sitting there for a while. Also the place doesn’t take card as they are cash only which was inconvenient to say the least. Safe to say I won’t be returning to this place.

First time trying it and really enjoyed it. Even though it was Ramadan it wasn't a long wait for our food to be prepared. The food tasted great, one of the better Turkish grill places in Leicester. The waitress who served us was really friendly and provided a great service. Would try this place again

Just spent £33 on 2 lamb shish, absolutely disgusting, when it was delivered completely cold, as for your bread more like a thin slice out of a loaf poor poor poor not sure how places survive taking the piss out of the public, really disappointing

Not the greatest place for customer service. On one night me and my partner were eating there.when a delivery driver came in to collect a order .the lady at the counter was not very welcoming to the poor delivery driver. Please treat everyone farely otherwise you want have anybody coming there to eat.we won't be going back there anymore.

Do not ear from here. My whole family got food poisoning with a take away order. The chef owned up to the fact and pleaded to us not to go to environmental health. We have evidence of the food that was contaminated with the saucers that had live fungus on it.

Had a lovely graduation dinner here. Service was great and the food arrived quickly. The portions were a good size and prices reasonable. The only thing was that cash only was accepted and there was a limit for a bank transfer so it was difficult to pay. Thank you to Aaliyah who organised the booking and order.

An amazing place always had takeaway but the dine in experience was even better, Aaliyah was an amazing host accommodating all our needs, a true asset to their business. The restaurant is very generous with their on the house salad and Mezes, not forgetting Turkish tea! 5 stars isn’t enough. Keep it up guys!

What a gem! I have had the pleasure of enjoying Nazars for a number of years, it has become very much a work and family favourite! Yagmür and team are excellent, and couldn't do more to aid their customers experience whether it be dine in or takeaway. The food is excellent, and I have never had any faults. Best Turkish in Leicester!

Owner of this restaurant is extremely rude towards everyone he is extremely disrespectful towards his employees. Not recommended. There are many other Turkish restaurants that you can dine in which are much better in customer service etc.

Ordered for delivery took over 1hour 30 mins tried calling over 20 times apparently phone lines were not working. Visit the shop an hour and 30 mins late to be told rudely driver left 10 mins ago and there’s nothing they can do. Food arrived cold would not recommend this place would rather go Maryland then here again worst and most stressful takeaway ever. Honestly whoever’s reading this I beg you avoid this place and save your self the disappointment.I’m sure the staff will reply with an excuse as all the other reviews. Save your self the trouble that’s if they even respond

We had an takeaway from Nazar Bbq house, The food arrived on the specified time was hot and well packed, the portions of the mezes are so good it was enough for our family of 5, we ordered the mix grill which was so tasty and all fresh meat the rice and salad was tasty too, would definitely order from here again

Najar was my favourite Turkish place and still is for taste but 3 star for seriously reduced potions post pandemic. 1 whole meal is not enough for a grown up child, let alone a man. Salad size n rice amount inside the prepacked box is ridiculous n leaves you wanting more. 😕

A really nice intimate place in Leicester. Has a nice cosy family vibe to the restaurant and the interior has a lot of nice Turkish elements which give it a nice homely atmosphere. The food is really good quality and tastes authentically Turkish. The only other Turkish place I have tried in Leicester was Etci Baba but in all honesty, I much preferred it here at Nazar BBQ. Would definitely recommend and come again!

I order take away they give me salad which is very bad smell coming from salad even it was big order they not giving me 1 source after having this i fell trouble,when i ring them front lady not say even sorry she said they was busy thats why,Dear owner pls train front staff how to speak with customer.i also upload ur fresh salad pic

This is the new Friday spot for me and the fam. We go for the mixed grill family platter for the 4 of us, and maybe and yoghurtlu on top if we’re all very hungry. One of the top Turkish spots I’ve been to. Food is piping hot and full of flavour. 9/10 consistently. If they upgraded the chips it would be even better.

Rang ordered food for me and the fam for delivery. After everything want to tell me they won't deliver to me and they have so many other deliveries on. I'm disabled and don't drive ATM. No consideration given at all. Disgusting behaviour

Having been to Turkey many times, it was great to go to a restaurant with such authentic flavours. Felt like I was there. Small restaurant so definitely worth booking but definitely worth a visit. We had the sharing platter for 4 and a few starters and it was a real feast. Very delicious and plenty for us all. I was so excited when the food arrived, I forgot to take a photo. A small restaurant and a couple of steps up so not ideal for wheelchair access.

The food at Nazar is some of the best Turkish food I have had in Leicester. It is ALWAYS freshly prepared and very tasty. The mezes are delicious too. Service is great. We love the homemade lemonade.

There's a good range of food, probably better for meat eaters rather than Vegetarians or Vegans. We had a friendly welcome and there was lots of seating. The food came out really quickly and well delicious and hot.

This is out local closest Turkish restaurant. Quality of food is always good here. Pleased with this restaurant every time we come.. The chef went the extra mile today (when our little one decided to sing ‘happy birthday’) and it made our meal! Thank you little things make a big difference!

Ridiculously rude customer service; we called up to pre-order lunch due to a tight work schedule, and after placing the order, were rudely informed that if we turned up late, the restaurant wouldn’t take any responsibility for our “cold food.” We are calling ahead precisely because we need to return promptly, so rudely reminding us of the limitations of the service they provide seemed both unsolicited and unnecessary. Perhaps write a well rounded script you can all use with customers in order to avoid losing business because of your lack of manners and etiquette when speaking to customers.

This is how a takeaway should be. I've never had such a well-wrapped meal - designed to look good and keep food hot. The lamb kebabs are really good quality and delicious. Definitely ordering again.

This place is a gem the staff are brilliant so attentive. The food was so delicious. Having come in the month of Ramadan the staff provided us with dates and made sure the food came out on time for us to open our fast.

First time ordering, delighted to find them open on Easter Sunday. Delivery was quick, dishes presented really well, Eco packaging, great portion sizes and absolutely delicious. Will be recommending to friends and definitely ordering again.
