Nava Coffee House, Kitchen & Bar in New Forest

Used to love this place but they have changed their policy restricting solo diners. At busy times maybe ? but even when it’s empty ?!! - with such a prejudicial approach to singletons and given it’s also pricy I’ll spend my money elsewhere from now on.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff, shown to the upstairs corner area where the staff made a fuss of our puppy. They were quick to take our order and bring us up our drinks as well as check everything was okay and bring us a pup cup! Highly recommend this sweet coffee shop!

Great tea and coffee options. Toast is a lovely sourdough experience with edible flowers. Milkshakes were rated, and the pancakes looked fab! Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, group of friends meet regularly - available for private hire which would be nice as it has an intimate feel.

Love this place, probably the best coffee in Ringwood! Gorgeous cakes and pastries and a tasty lunch menu, it's a real favourite place for us and a local treasure. Well done Nava! Highly recommended.

The atmosphere at Nava is absolutely lovely, I can't recommend it enough. It's often very busy, and that's due to the staff, the quality of service, the quality of the coffee and, that's very clear to see. I'm so glad to see that they're doing well, they deserve it to be a success. Thank you Lucy, Sney and David especially you guys are awesome.

Friendly staff, fast service, great food and drinks

We went for a simple cuppa and slice of cake and there are 2 reasons why i would never go here again. Firstly despite there only being a handful of customers inside we almost had to go and ask if they had forgotten about our order. We only ordered 2 coffees and 2 slices of cake but it took well over 10mins to get our order. Secondly I nearly fell over when i came to pay. Over £16!!!!!!!! Considering they only serve small coffees I can't believe it was that expensive. The price of the cake wasn't listed on the menu so i couldnt see in advance (mind you having seen how much is charged for cooked food i shouldn't have been shocked) In a sentence - Nava coffee is overpriced and over rated.

Went in there this morning 26 july asked for a coffee and scrambled eggs was really looking forward to it coffee was great the scrambled eggs were awful couldn't even look at them anyone can make scrambled eggs in the pan with milk or microwave and milk these were a uncooked mess on toast i paid the 12 pounds and the young lady said how was the food i said degusting and before you have a go i was a trained military chef in the forces

Food is quality and well presented. The ‘Naanwich’ is a unique and tasty selling point! Staff are very pleasant and warm. Atmosphere is intimate, upstairs is particularly nice for couples and small groups.

We arrived Friday morning to 2 lovely ladies who gave us a warm welcome and a lovely coffee, Ordered a full English and I sent mine right back, sausage was cold and not cooked enough, eggs were snotty and not cooked properly, beans and tomatoes were stone cold and just inedible, My husband tried to eat his but gave up, He went to the counter and who I’m assuming was the chef judging by her attitude was just beyond rude, My husband has over 30 years experience in food hygiene management, and has degrees in this subject and works for a global Corporation so know what he’s talking about, The one lady said the man has barely touched his food, her response was well it’s a good quality pork sausage that’s why it’s like it was, wasn’t just the sausage the breakfast was inedible but you still charged him and was unbelievably rude, My husband could have cited every issue of food hygiene that you had contravened but decided not to embarrass you like you had him, Shocking customer service, needless to say we won’t be back, But you should take some customer service training from the 2 ladies that greeted us, Arguing with your customer when he wasn’t at all once rude, he just answered the question of what was wrong with his breakfast, shocking behaviour.

This is our new favourite coffee shop we’ve visited six times now and never been disappointed. Lovely laid back atmosphere and the food is amazing the truffled mushroom is exquisite as is the Brie ciabatta please don’t change the menu or portion sizes like so many places do!! Dog friendly and so many vegetarian options spoilt for choice.

Not a great value for money. Find it really strange that they don’t advertise they prices with VAT.

I can't recommend this cafe enough!! Love the food,l love the drinks, love the cakes, love the staff! A must visit if in the area looking for a great coffee shop. A really homely and cosy environment, the premium hot chocolate is a must try, I had the white chocolate one, it was amazing!!

I’ve been lucky to visit twice in the last week and had brunch which was the tastiest I think it’s ever been ! Presented beautifully and the coffee also tasted great and looked very pretty with the coffee art!!! Always clean and a well managed chill vibe ! Will be back soon!

I have been here many times, always happy with the quality of food and service. Recently, however, there has been quite a bit of new staff and a new chef. I was very disappointed today when purchasing the pancake stack with berries and syrup, a cost of £9.50. While the pancakes were nice and fluffy, the fruit was unwashed and mouldy, therefore, inedible. This was brought up to the staff, in which they replied, we will let the chef know. I was never offered a replacement of fresh fruit or a discount of the meal.

Went in on a Tuesday early afternoon for scrambled eggs on toast. Well priced at £6.50. Excellent service and food in well appointed rooms.

First time visiting. Super friendly staff and tasty food! We’ll be back!

I was travelling in the area in April 2023. This place was the best cafe that I visited. Delicious food and the best coffee by miles. Staff was also very friendly and service was quick.

Great coffee and breakfasts plus cocktails if you visit in the evening. Nava is one our go to breakfast destinations in the area. Friendly polite staff and good quality food make this a standout destination along with great coffee. This isn’t the place for a cheap breakfast. It’s about quality and presentation. Worth paying for. Not that’s it overly expensive, either.

Had the crushed avocado on sourdough toast with salmon and poached egg..now I am sure like me , you have tried to create this at home. Well it may of course sound simple but these guys produced the best I have ever eaten! There was plenty of avocado on each slice of toast. The chilli and lime were just the right amount. The Ava-Go-Go smoothie was great too. Just one little niggle...from when we ordered, we did get our drinks quite quickly but unfortunately it then took almost 40 mins more before we got our food. It was a Saturday lunchtime and I know that they had a couple of big tables in but it did take the shine off the experience a little. Staff very friendly.

Excellent ! Can highly recommend this establishment- had a coffee and light lunch there today. Both the coffee and food were of the highest standard. The staff were first rate with quick service and the upstairs dining area was just right - plenty of space between the tables. Looking forward to our next visit Thanks Ed Harris

Love this place for so many reasons!! There is a vast drink selection . The staff are the nicest people ever. The decor is super friendly and snuggly. Their food is always tasty and reasonably priced for the area - you can’t really go wrong !!

Amazing service, that staff were very accommodating. We had a party of 7 with dietary restrictions and they were super helpful. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their food and coffee. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

Seated quickly and given menus, the waitress came back a couple of minutes later to take our order. I ordered a salted caramel iced latte and the Eggs Calcutta and my partner got a posh mocha and a full breakfast with an apple juice. Waited 5 minutes for the delicious coffees and a further 15 mins for the amazing food! Waitress was very apologetic about the wait but it was busy and we weren't expecting 2 minute service for quality food and coffee. Lovely atmosphere and staff were very helpful with answering questions! I'll definitely visit again!

What a fabulous find! We were on our way back to Cornwall after a few days in the New Forest. Very welcoming from the start!. So nice to feel staff actually want to be there! Great selection of drinks and food, especially vegetarian options!..we tried the veggie half breakfast and veggie toasted sandwich with chilli jam, both really really tasty and hot(simple thing but so many places fail with that) We both had turmeric lattes, again tasty and hot. This place wins hands down against the usual generic coffee/cafes, who shall remain nameless!😉 Looking forward to a return visit on our next mini break

This was our second visit after discovering this lovely place a few weeks ago. The food and staff are excellent and a very enjoyable atmosphere. However on our last visit , early in the morning at 9am all tables were reserved upstairs. There was no name or time on the table was required so I enquired downstairs. We were told the bookings had been made and they didn’t have the information at hand of the time the tables were booked for . Sadly we had to sit downstairs for breakfast. We stayed there for about an hour and no one came in for the upstairs tables . This was very frustrating as we only wanted to sit upstairs and I feel there is a potential of footfall business being lost . Others places we have visited, when a table is reserved has the name and time the table is required for .

Fab flat white. Amazing sandwiches. So fresh and well worth every penny. Compliments to all members of staff.

Really enjoyed our coffees (cappacino and latte). Excellent bacon sandwich and happy to add an egg on request. Three micro Cinnamon Buns finished a great stop off. BH24 now has competition! It's going to be a close race.

I've been in the day for hot chocolate which was nice, but in the evening the atmosphere is magical. Sitting by the fire with fabulous cocktails being served by great staff.

My favourite coffee bar, meet regularly with friends for a weekend catch-up here. The service is lovely and coffee is so smooth! Usually tempted by some of the gorgeous pastries and cakes too.

Visited today for the first time. Service excellent, immaculate and staff welcoming. The atmosphere was lovely and a super place for coffee or a bite to eat. The food choice is not vast but what is offered is delicious, excellent quality and absolutely beautifully presented. It would be a sin to miss out on this place if you are in Ringwood.

Delighted to see my favourite Dorset Apple Cake & a variety of a few new sweet treats available now. The Café Latté is fantastic & the menu has been improved. Service is always friendly. I love sitting upstairs as the ambience is really lovely.

What a wonderful place we were fortunate to find on our first visit to Ringwood! Plenty of choice on the menu (Children's choices too!) and very pleasantly surprised to see still serving 'breakfast baps' at lunch time - many places stop offering these before 12 noon! Found a lovely table in the window upstairs for our family of 5 and had wonderful service from a lovely young lady. The food was excellent, service and timings spot on and beautiful decor. Love this place and wish we had a 'Nava' back home!

I come here regularly find the decor amazing the staff friendly and the coffee some of the best in Ringwood but the cakes and muffins are a real let down ( this isn’t based on one visit ) they look like Costco standard huge portions but stale and tasteless. Such a shame because as I noted everything else is amazing but will have to treat myself elsewhere!!!!

WOW. First visit to Nava Coffee today and the service was outstanding and the coffee was superb. The best we have had for a long long time. The staff were very friendly. The cakes too were delicious. We will certainly be coming back soon. Great place to visit.

Only stopped for a coffee and bit of cake, but the mocha was first class - second only to Oad Street Craft Centre in Kent. The two pieces of cake were excellent. Very good facilities & clean.
