Awesome find. Shout out to the waitress with dreadlocks who recommended me a cold brew which I’ve never had before and it was divine. Had a sausage sandwich to takeaway and it was awesome. Can see why this place is so popular. Staff so friendly and down to earth

Breakfast ok, not great.Soggy half cooked toast.Nice sausage and bacon,poached egg almost raw and cold. Staff pleasant.

I've been a daily customer of Natters cafe since it opened many years ago and it has changed hands twice in that time. I have a filter coffee and an occasional cake both of which are excellent. The young staff are very kind to me and they work very hard. Natters is my daily treat, it's the best cafe I know.

Friendly service and delicious food. If you are hungry, we would suggest steering away from avo on sourdough. Our lunches were the same price yet my toastie and accompaniments were twice the size.

We all chose (very late) breakfast of various sorts. Fresh ingredients and excellent presentation. Friendly staff too. The full veggie breakfast was so generous and I finished at 2.30 pm. I didn’t want any food all day! A very small comment is the new decor feels a bit mismatched but this doesn’t affect the food.

In desperate need for a comfort food sort of breakfast, and the Natter café did not disappoint. My mother and I were severed by a lovely, very attentive young lad with a teddy bear jumper - think his name was Charlie? Great food recommendations from him. Would 100% go again!

I live locally and always wanted to try breakfast here. I visited on Tuesday morning with a friend visiting from overseas. We both ordered the full English with tea and a latte. We were very impressed with everything, but the local sausage, bacon, and bread definitely stood out. We really enjoyed our visit and I will definitely go back.

Not so good now,my beans were cold,friends bacon was fatty and greasy.Waitress uninterested when we said we ordered two lots of tea pots.Won't keep going there weekly unless it returns to good standard.

What has happened the natter cafe,has it changed hands? Returned after a break of 18 months ,previously one of the best breakfast I’ve had, now one of the worst. Deeply disappointed. Will not be returning!

Lovely staff, not much parking, luke warm coffee. I asked for my coffee to be warmed up, and even then it was still only luke warm

Poached eggs always perfect,and staff all pleasant.The cafe is always busy,we sit outside,because noisy inside plus the radio is usually on,so difficult to hear.😋

Very cosy and warm, lovely staff, amazing breakfast. I had eggs Benedict fabulous my husband had veggie full breakfast said it was really lovely. Very generous portions. You can book also as it does get busy. A real gem in Farncombe.

What has happened to Natters it used to be so good. Menu so uninspiring. Went for toasted sandwiches, waited 40 minutes, bread came out rock hard. My wife's was unedible. Seems chef was busy in and out cafe, left to kids to cook.

LOVE Natters, my favourite place for breakfast! I always try and book as it’s always so busy. Can be a little noisy inside when busy as it’s a cosy space but the outside area is lovely, it’s fully covered so fine when raining and blankets are available when it's cold. The staff are all lovely and I don't think I’ve ever had a bad meal!! Dogs are also welcome so what’s not to love!!

The cafe was very cold heating barely on . Took our grandson his smoothie was £4 plus our coffee was bitter !! And carrot cake far to sweet and my husband likes sweet but even he thought it was sweet. Overall experience cold expensive and quite unpleasant.

My experience yesterday was appalling. We are not able to chat or “natter” at all as there was a table of people shouting, screaming and laughing whilst playing with a child and nothing was done about it. Although I love this sort of interaction with a little one, it should not be allowed to happen in a small cafe. We could not hear each other. We then realised it was the waitress and her child and friends or family. This was totally disrespectful to the customers, no thought or care for us at all. After the initial service, they left us on our own, no service at all and unable to chat. We had to leave. I do suffer with anxiety, which is not their problem at all, but it should not be the staff that create a problem for me. It took a couple of hours for to calm down. What I expected to be a pleasant afternoon, was the most stressful thing all week. This is an expensive café and the priority should be care for the customers, not having a party like atmosphere, which was so uncomfortable to be in. I will never go back there.

This spot had lovely customer service, impeccable service and lovely food. I couldn’t recommend this amazing cafe anymore. Perfect place to take friends, and an amazing family friendly environment.

Just had the worst experience. Usually good but had booked a table only to be shown to our table and order our meal. 2 minutes later we were told there is a 45 minute wait for food . And would we like to wait . Due to our tight schedule this now meant we had no time to get lunch . They should probably have just said they did not have a table . Or provide less tables so they can manage their customers better.

This is our go to place when you fancy lunch out, and have something different from what’s at home. Very generous portions, friendly and attentive staff, great range of sandwiches etc. Life always seems better after a visit here!

Visited on Saturday 3rd June with my daughter and son-in-law. This is charming Cafe in Farncombe, Godalming opposite St John’s Church. Whilst studying menu enjoyed a great cup of fresh coffee. My daughter a pot of tea with Oat Milk. Not a difficult decision of me as ordered the Full English Breakfast at £11.95, I also asked that another coffee be served after my meal was served and this was done without any problem by a member of their charming staff. Breakfast was really good and I cannot wait to return as this was a real treat, good food and great service. What more could one ask for? Their menus cover interesting lunches as well including those for vegetarians . I will be returning very soon and with family.

Excellent food and service. A family visit for Brunch which really was superb My Full English Breakfast ready was so good service really hot and at same time as my coffee. Attentive and very friendly service. Natters really is worth a visit in St John’s Road Farncombe, just three minutes from Railway Station. Cannot wait for another Full English

Been here a few times now and each experience has been lovely. Always rammed whenever we go in and we are always greeted by the smiling staff and the smell of breakfast. The food never disappoints and is always brought to you within 10-20 minutes depending on how busy it is. Always a 9/10 experience and we will definitely be coming back in the future!

A really nice cafe!! Great service and amazing food! Our coffee's were very nice. I had a late and my partner had a filter coffee and we both really enjoyed. Had a half and a full breakfast and it was sooo tasty.

What a fantastic place to have stumbled across on our recent visit to Godalming. We hadn’t booked but arrived at opening time to find a few spare tables. The staff are all lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast was one to rave about for months to come. Shame we don’t live nearer as this would be our first choice every time.

Their breakfast plates are really very good! … and this time I went for the Full English We have been a few times and I have yet to see anything but well cooked and nicely presented food …. and with friendly, attentive and well trained staff who care! My wife went for the Eggs on Toast and had the choice of Scrambled, Poached or Fried … and the Scrambled Egg is perfectly cooked Slowly we are working our way through the menu but have yet to choose one of their Sandwiches … which are Enormous and generously portioned A lovely Cafe with lovely staff …. reasonable priced … and it truly deserves to be successful Our dog Maisy loves this place and dragged us through the door on this visit to greet everyone with hello’s and licks if they wanted

I came here with a friend for a catchup on Sunday morning and saw a queue which instantly means great things. We didn't book but thankfully there was a table available. The garden seating has outdoor heating so no issues with being out in the cold! I had a dark chocolate mocha which was super tasty and then treated myself to a half English breakfast. You can choose what bread you want (white or brown), ho you would like your egg (scrambled, poached, fried- I had poached that was cooked to perfection) and then you could choose either hash browns or beans - hash browns were fab! The sausage was so delicious as well, and you get a piece of bacon. Overall, the breakfast was delicious and would definitely recommend! I did find that it was a little dear for what you got, considering you had to choose between either beans or hashbrowns. The staff were super friendly too and the place was lovely, would thoroughly recommend. Another thing to note is that they have a coffee stamp card system but you can only get stamps on takeaway coffees which is a bit of a shame. Overall, I recommend the place and lovely food 😊

Gem of a little cafe. I wanted the Eggs Benedict but was just a little too late, so I went for a cheese and Mushroom omelette. To be honest I don't think you could pick anything you wouldn't enjoy. The food, Tea and Coffee we've had has all been great, the staff are chatty and attentive and with options to eat inside or in the garden you would be hard pushed to find better.

Very good sandwiches but expensive - but staff are young and inept. Having waited 25 mins for a takeout order it was then queried, and found by the till - cold. They’ve actually done this to me TWICE this year. Never again.

My wife has been here a few times and loves it! …. so now it was my turn …. very dog friendly (with treats!) and Maisy was impressed with the bacon and sausage she shared with me …. well staffed with friendly, attentive and caring...

Even though I had booked a table but was running very late, they were super chilled out, when we did turn up 30 minutes late they were lovely about it - they had even put up some Happy Birthday Lights for my daughter. The food...

Second time there in 3 weeks, both times ordered a simple black coffee, both times waiting 20 minutes and doesn't arrive. This morning came very close though, they put one on the table, but then gave it to the lady that had just sat down...

Good value tasty fresh sandwiches. Had take away and the place was fairly busy but had a great feel to it. Staff were lovely.

They do a fantastic breakfast and wonderful oat milk coffee which can be hard to find, you also sometimes get a little drawing on top. Pastries baked every day and good veggie options.

I have visited this cafe a few times as the cooked breakfast is amazing! They also have an extensive range of brunch/lunch options. Was really impressed on my first visit as staff seemed attentive and I appreciated the little extras like lemon in my glass...

Absolutely in love with this place! First visited the first week they opened and have continued to go ever since. Cute vibe inside with lovely brunch options (the half breakfast is incred) with plenty of options for dietary requirements. They have great coffee and tea as well as a wide variety of smoothies and other tasty beverages. The staff are so friendly and hard working - shout out to Helena and Ruby in particular for always being so cheerful and great at making drinks under pressure! Highly recommend!!

I understand why this is number 1 in the charts. What a menu for breakfast ranging from bacon and eggs to eggs royals all cooked to a high standard. Also liked the big pot of tea with real tea leaves- not tea bag dust. The service was also very good with a pride in what they were servicing. We were in the area for two nights and had breakfast each morning.

First time to this cafe it was really busy so we booked a table in advance, the staff were very friendly and the menu had something for everyone. The breakfast was nicely cooked and no complaints with the service, the only down point it was pretty expensive.

As a group we meet at Natters weekly after a Pilates class and generally sit outside in the back courtyard, even in winter when cosy rugs are provided. All the staff are delightful - very friendly and accommodating and the coffee is good too! Cakes look fantastic and gluten-free alternatives are available. The cafe is always busy and a little gem in Farncombe. Well worth visiting!

Visited for a late brunch. This place does all day breakfasts so ideal! Staff very friendly and food was delicious. Great service too. Very reasonably priced. Buzzing atmosphere inside with plenty of seating. Well worth a visit.

5 adults for greakfast, 2 rounds of coffees, a cooked breakfast each, which was very good, no quibbles on the quality but almost £90, that’s a lot....this is the only reason why it’s not a 5 star rating.

Poached eggs be popping, coffee be kewl. This vibrant lil cafe is the bees knees. Definitely worth venturing out of the safety of your homes risking an encounter with the Farncombe massif..The Coffee is to die for. As a lad of great taste I have to say the Mocha is the gem of this joint.

This all day restaurant was understandably busy. Our breakfast was tasty,, well cooked and plentiful. The atmosphere was excellent as all the staff were visibly happy and helpful, especially Ruby with her wasp zapper. Really a lovely start to our day. Thank you.

I've recently discovered this great little cafe and it's become my favourite! It oozes character with it's layout, garden blankets, quirky teapots and friendly staff. Every time I've been in there they have been genuinely kind and helpful, from swapping seats for my mum's comfort, to advising smoothie choices! It's a great place to meet up be it for a drink, breakfast, lunch or cake! All of which are very tasty!

Nice food in a good atmosphere. Slightly more expensive than some but good value for money. The range of hot drinks is impressive

Always so lovely happy tp see us. Tom who makes the coffees, makes the most amazing coffee & designs on top! Look at the elephant! Lovely fresh sandwich & sweet potato chips too.

Took my two boys for a late breakfast. High quality produce served and staff are great. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

It’s difficult to rate in stars, because the cafe is lovely. Modern, on trend, friendly, community conscious;just what is needed. However possibly needs to invest in another coffee machine and/or more staff to cater for the quick coffee/takeout market. I visited on Saturday and Sunday morning. First visit was told there’d be a 15 minute wait for 2 takeout coffees! As we weren’t in a particular hurry we waited. Sat outside to wAit but gave up our seats to some other customers. The next day there was a 25 minute wait! Sadly I said no. It was actually quicker to go to Godalming!! Such a shame as I’d rather support a local business.

Visited here this morning while waiting for our cat to be x-rayed at Supervets. I had the all day breakfast and my wife had jacket potato with various fillings. The breakfast was great and I felt full after.. Jacket potato was well cooked ,hot and delicious .Service was good with friendly,polite and attentive waitresses. Would go again if in the area.

Went for brunch on Sunday. My food was delicious and it arrived as I wanted (I'm fussy). There were seven of us and they did repeatedly get one of my friends orders wrong but she eventually had a tasty meal she was satisfied with. I made the mistake this time of not ordering one of there filter coffee's (the Americano is rather limp in comparison)

We visited the cafe for the first time this morning, had a fantastic experience, my partner had the Full English breakfast, which was massive, I had the half English breakfast, which was still plenty. The staff were lovely and so helpful, will be back soon.

Just moved to Godalming and have been meaning to get into Natter Cafe. So glad that I did! They have a fantastic menu, an incredibly friendly staff and a very cozy atmosphere. Excited to see that they do monthly dinner events so looking forward to partaking. Great coffee to boot!

Brilliant amount of option on the menu for drinks and food! staff are lovely! Really friendly and accommodating, willing to make whatever and how I wanted my coffee. I would say it can be a bit packed/overwhelming/hard to move so if you want a chilled/quiet coffee alone it might be a bit noisy but definitely a great place for a social vibe and if you want to be around people.

I really love this little cafe. It has the most amazing, warm cheese scones and you’re always greeted with a smile. However, it’s always quite chilly in there. I thought I’d pick a spot by a radiator on a particularly chilly morning, but it wasn’t on! I checked another radiator, but that wasn’t on either! Please please turn the heating up as I really want to give u an excellent score!

I'm quite a fan of Natter. It's got a nice lively vibe and the breakfasts are excellent. I usually plump for the Full English (plump being the operative word), and the Other Side typically has the veggie version. The coffee is great too: usually 3 varieties on offer, with tasting notes, in all the usual formats, plus the performance art of The Filter. (Note also the unique mugs from local charity/enterprise Arthouseunlimited.org)

Stumbled upon Natter when out for a walk and glad I did because I reckon its potentially the best cafe in Surrey and I've been to most! It was very busy when we went which is a good sign and we were lucky to get a corner table in the window. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. There was a mouth watering and comprehensive menu and I had a slice of sourdough with mashed feta and avocado toasted on top and two perfectly cooked poached eggs on top of that - delicious and very filling. My daughter had yogurt with granola, bananas, stewed apples and too many things to list which she thought was great. My americano was good although look like some good filter coffees to try too. I rarely give 5 stars in the hundreds of reviews I do but this place deserved one and will be back soon to check I wasn't imagining how good it was

If you are looking for something unique and an alternative to eating in Godalming drop into the Natter Cafe in Farncombe - excellent Menu and great coffees - had the Ethiopian Filter Coffee today - delivered and filtered at your table - now thats not the norm and hence in my book gets 5 Stars for Service

We recently moved to the area, and were so happy to find Natter as our new brunch place on a weekend. The staff are incredibly lovely and welcoming, and the food is so great. I'd go as far as to say Natter is the best thing about Farncombe!!

Quando nostro figlio ha comprato casa a Farncombe eravamo preoccupati su dove fare colazione la mattina quando andiamo a trovarlo. Non ci aspettavamo di trovare in un villaggio così piccolo un locale così carino e accogliente! L'ambiente è confortevole e il personale supergentile. La maggior parte della gente locale usa mangiare al mattino cose molto diverse da noi italiani, uova, salcicce, bacon e altro ancora!!!! Per noi impensabile!!! Ma il cappuccino e la pasta che ogni giorno abbiamo ordinato lì erano buoni , anche se per noi la tazza era troppo grande per i nostri standard. Prezzi circa il doppio che in Italia,come del resto in tutta l'Inghilterra, non si capisce perchè, dal momento che questo riguarda solo cappuccino e brioche,e non gli altri cibi. Comunque il posto ci è molto piaciuto, e nostro figlio ha detto che ogni tanto ci si può cenare. C'è stato con la moglie e degli amici e sono stati contentissimi. Sicuramente sarà il nostro posto di riferimento ogni volta che saremo a Farncombe. Abbiamo notato che è un locale molto popolare, e se lo merita!!

I needed somewhere to while away an hour and was delighted to find Natter Café, it is perfect - its space, tables, friendly staff, cleanliness, really nice tea and fabulously rich chocolate brownie, with a fun and lively vibe - I wish every community had a café like this!

This was my first visit to the Natter cafe, and what a delightful place it is! We booked a table ahead of time to guarantee a seat.

Popped in here for brunch just before Sundays game and country fair at Losely and the food at atmosphere was so good we really didn't want to leave. An absolute gem of a place. Will definitely visit again.

What a superb little place with a really interesting menu. Scrambled eggs with leeks...who’d have thought of that!

For 7 people eating together they were brilliant, the food was quick, tasted amazing and the service was so friendly. We’ll be back.

This is the ONLY place that I come for brunch and I will remain loyal to this place until the day I am old and falling apart. Their eggs are spectacular, the location is stupendous and the coffee is so perfect it might make you cry. Even their smoothies are so wonderful they’ve appeared in my dreams. The staff are such a phenomenal team and are all so attentive and chatty.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Huge portions, really nice sandwiches, massive oreo milkshakes for the kids and a pot of tea with a timer for optimum brewing! All at a really reasonable price with lovely staff. We will definitely be back, and the kids want to try some of the cakes next time or afternoon tea!

This has become a really good local cafe, with lovely food well presented in a very nice atmosphere. My only quibble is that the service can be a bit variable - always very pleasant and friendly but it can be a bit slow or hard to get their attention, hence the drop to 4 stars from 5.

I called in for breakfast while waiting for my wife who was at the nearby hairdresser. I had not been here before and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. The cafe has a modern feel and is a pleasant place to eat in. I ordered the full English. This was well cooked and tasty, especially the sausages which are sourced from a local butcher. The staff are friendly and I would definitely visit again.

My wife & I had breakfast here on a Monday morning following a weekend break before returning home. Found it on TripAdvisor and thought we would see if it was as good as the reviews. It was even better. A lovely, comfortable cafe with a garden. Plenty of room between the tables. Friendly service and an extensive menu that made choosing difficult. In the end I had the full English breakfast and my wife had a cheese and tomato omelette. The breakfast was very good and my wife described the omelette as the best she has ever had in England and as good as any you would get in Paris. High praise indeed.

We came here for brunch and it was lovely. I find it difficult to find nice brunch places in the area but this definitely ticks the boxes. Thank you, we will be back soon... to try one of the cakes this time!

A very nice small friendly place to eat with some very nice food being served, we enjoy eating there when we can.
