Nice little shop around the corner of Portobello Road. Few and little but nice things to eat and drink - and very flexible and friendly staff. Good to relax without noise and action - loved it.

This is a charming little deli, doubling also as a coffee shop. While sipping my cappuccino and working, I would occasionally glance at the local Notting Hill residents dropping in, smelling the freshness of cantaloupes before deciding which to purchase, and at the interactions between the knowledgeable shopkeepers and customers about the cherry tomatoes. The staff are discrete and don’t crowd the customers. But note, it is not really catering to the coffee-shop-working types, in that there are no outlets/plugs (but they were nice enough to charge my phone behind their counter). The only distinct downside was that they were blasting the air conditioner despite the fact that the weather was very mild-to-fresh outside. So I didn’t dare take off my heavy leather jacket while sitting indoors. So, one star off for the physically cold (and thus not too comfy) atmosphere. But if I could give 4.5 stars instead, I would have.

Do not go to this place. The coffee was pretty poor but the worst aspect of our experience was the horrific service. The "front of house" was very rude to my mother for no reason when asking for toilet paper, as the toilets had remained un stocked for our entire visit. It was both the manner and tone of the individual which was unacceptable and my Mum left feeling rather upset. The customer service and quality of the coffee leaves much to be desired. I would go the pub across the road for coffee instead.

I was looking forward to this Natoora opening as I usually catch the bus to the Chiswick branch on a Saturday and was pleased to hear this would be serving food. Been a couple of times now to give it a chance but left disappointed both times. The service is slow, it always takes a long time to order because people are queuing for groceries and each item is being weighed etc. This time I ordered kale and beetroot on toast and the girl serving (not so friendly) repeated my order wrong so I corrected her. Didn’t feel she was listening and of course my order arrived wrong... it happened to the table behind us too. Portions not huge, don’t come too hungry. More of a healthy snack place. Coffee good, groceries good but will not return to the cafe again.
