Honestly was completely disappointed with the food. Came from around 30 minutes away expecting to be blown away due to the good reviews and was left irritated. Beef udon and fried squid were flavourless. Chicken was hard to chew and salty. The only good aspect was the amazing staff who brought the food out quickly and were attentive.

It's been a while since I came to the UK and I've had Korean food, and it's so delicious.

Walked in and were seated immediately for a group of 5. The food was tasty served really quickly, but was slightly on the pricey side for the portion sizes. That said, I would go back again if we we're in the area and craving Korean food.

Every time I visit London I always make sure I go to Naru! The food is delicious and even caters for gluten free options (which is quite rare for Korean restaurants). The staff are always friendly and attentive and happy to give advice on what to order. I recently had a birthday meal here with friends and the atmosphere was so comfortable - a nice familiar feel. Thanks very much to Naru for always being reliably great :)

It was the taste of a Korean chef(?) that I had tasted for a long time in Central London. The chicken bibimbap was unique, and the soft tofu stew was delicious.

I've visited Naru twice now, and both times the food had been great. Had both the chicken and beef bibimbap, as well as the pork belly buglogi. Great tastes, stunning flavours, fair portion sizes and more than reasonable pricing. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. I'll be back again for sure! The only reason I haven't rated 5* is just based on the appearance of the restaurant /toilet facilities. Abit dated /run down in places.

I am an office worker living near Holborn Station who has lived in London for 3 years. It's really, really delicious. It's 10 minutes away from my house, so I come here whenever I'm hungry and try various things, so I became a regular. Personally, I'm crazy about the kimchi stew and green onion pancakes. Really try them. The other foods are also delicious, but I personally like green onion pancakes and kimchi stew haha. Oh, that's right, the Osam bulgogi is also delicious. It’s only a 10-minute walk from my place, so I come here all the time whenever I’m hungry. I’ve tried a bunch of different dishes, and I’ve basically become a regular. Personally, I’m obsessed with the kimchi jjigae and pajeon—they’re absolutely amazing! You have to try them. Other dishes are great too, but since I love kimchi jjigae and pajeon, those are my go-to. Oh, and the ohsam bulgogi is delicious too!🫶 Ugh, now I’m craving it again!!! Thank you so much for always making such amazing food. I keep telling myself I need to visit Korea, but somehow, three years have already passed… I really appreciate it, and I hope your business thrives! Please don’t ever close the restaurant while I’m still in the UK!!!❤️

Reservamos para 12 y es una buena cosa que hicimos, ya que se puso ocupado rápidamente! lugar muy popular, así que se puso bastante ruidoso (por eso le di un 4 vs un 5 ). La comida llegó rápido y muy sabroso. amigo tenía un estofado de carne y yo tenía calamares principales. Ambos muy bueno! gastó 15 libras cada uno, que es justo para la calidad y el tamaño de la porción.

It's really not delicious..... I didn't expect the Korean taste to be perfect, but the stew was the size of my palm, had a unique Indian flavor(?), and had a very fishy smell... Japchae is just a japchae rice bowl stewed in soy sauce. . We thought it was strange, but the people at the table next to us also had a frown on their faces. We were hungry, so we tried to stuff it in, but it really didn't taste good.. But as we were paying, we thought the owner was Korean, so we said hello first, and we were in a good mood from the food all the way to the end. It was so bad.

I recommend this Korean restaurant that I always stop by whenever I go to London. The menu is my favorite, Tteokppokgi, kimchi pancake, and seafood jjamppong, and my husband, who doesn't like spicy food, ordered bulgogi. It was really delicious. I always feel this way, but the owner is always very welcoming. When my foreign friends ask me to recommend a Korean restaurant, I recommend Naru Korean Restaurant.

Ttukbaegi Bulgogi and pancakes are not worth the price

Few days ago we went with my friend for a lunch for the first time to Naru. The food is really nice, and Ohji was really helpful and attentive with everything as she took a great care of us. Will go back for sure!

The food here is delicious and I have checked in many times. The staff is also very friendly and always has a smile on her face. She was the only staff member on duty at the time, and I always saw only one staff member busy every time I came to eat, but sometimes they can be very busy in the afternoon. I feel sorry for the staff who work alone. But overall, the food and service were very good. We ordered Korean BBQ hot pot and beef bibimbap. On a cold day like today, the hot pot tastes particularly warming, and the bibimbap is simple but delicious.

One of the coziest spots in london, if you are craving authentic korean food, this is the place to be. The staff is super nice and if you have any questions about the food they are super helpful.

It's really surprising that they are friendly to foreigners but unfriendly to Koreans hahaha. They don't even give me water until I ask for it separately, and they go around asking everyone at the table behind me if their food is okay, but they don't even notice me :) I had a Japanese friend in my group, but why did he also ask for it? They asked if they didn’t give water to just our table^^ The most unpleasant thing was that when paying, I clearly said, “I will pay only for the soft tofu stew separately and split the rest between two people,” but he said, “Then I will pay for the soft tofu first,” so my Japanese friend paid first, and I tapped second, and then my other friend paid. I was waiting to tap, but it said the payment had already been completed... haha ​​(When paying, it doesn't even show the amount on the card machine, just taps the part) I was dumbfounded and said, “I said I would split the rest between two people except for the soft tofu stew..” Without even a single apology, he said, “I told you I would pay for the soft tofu stew and the rest.” His shameless attitude was so amazing hahahahaha I The communication was clearly communicated and common sense dictated that 3 people ate, but if you asked them to share the bill, don't you think that 3 people would pay? My wife is Korean and was pleasantly surprised to find a Korean restaurant while we were visiting London. Tteok-bokki was not spicy at all, and it was a bit runny, but their steamed ribs were really good as well as their kimchi. The Korean owners were actually the cooks which made the food more authentic.

It’s been a while since I visited, but the taste is just as amazing as ever! It’s so delicious, and I can’t wait to come back again soon!😆

I have been to this place a fair few times and they do really well both with their service and with the food. My favourite dish they do is the Yukgaejang (육개장). Its perfect for dinner, its spicy, warm and so hearty. Highly recommend this place to everyone. The owner is always very friendly as well. Edit: While i still agree with everything above, they have since reviewed their prices (which i saw today) and i feel it’s far to expensive now, so probably wont be returning, shame.

Good Korean food and nice staff. I had lunch at Naru today. The food was incredible but the service was even more impeccable. A staff named May was working alone today and it was super busy. She single handedly managed the floor when it the restaurant was full. The food came up very fast and we are very happy with our order. I recommend bibimbap on the lunch deal.

The place is a bit run down and not very clean to be honest but the food is not bad and the service is very fast. Also the ingredients and flavors seem very authentic, so I would definitely go there gain for a quite lunch but would appreciate them out a bit more effort on making the place nicer.

I had Jjambong at Naru yesterday and it was very tasty. The staff was very helpful and recommended the dish. Overall, everything was great and service was fast.

It seems to be run by a young Korean owner. I secretly missed my order and called and asked, and they responded by asking if I could bring it to them. The owner ignores the Korean customers and seems wary. Trying not to make eye contact with Korean customers... .If you make eye contact, you avoid it and look at other employees to take care of it… There are a few other Korean restaurants around, so this place is not recommended.

The food was so delicious. It was better than most restaurants in Korea. I ate all the soup from the earthen pot of soft tofu stew. The earthen pot beef bulgogi was also excellent. I went there twice during my short trip. The squid rice bowl with kimchi pancake was also delicious. Considering the cost of living in London, it is very cost-effective. Highly recommended. The owner is Korean and we were very surprised when she welcomed us warmly and served us kimchi. As expected, Koreans are very affectionate.

This is a Korean restaurant I found while traveling. I had kimchi stew and pork dumplings and they were delicious and the service was also good.

The food is very nice, staff are friendly. We ordered Cheese Bul Dak, LA Kalbi, ojingeo bokkeum, kimchi and oymuchim( spicy cucumber salad).
