Nice Thai food restaurant just a short walk away from West Hempstead station. We ordered Katsu curry, Raman and Laksa. The corn fritters were amazing. The service we received from Kainat and Blasio was top notch.

My mum and I are originally from South East Asia and we love the food at Banana Tree. Their pad Thai is delicious and not too dry like it is at a lot of other places, and we love their fish curry. Melissa has been our server every time we’ve come and she’s very attentive, kind and an absolute pleasure to speak with. Can only recommend! We’ve also taken away from them often and the food travels well

Melissa is super friendly, warm and helpful, she served me with a beautiful smile, and made me feel like home! I ordered a Laksa with grilled chicken and it was delicious! Most restaurants in London cannot do Laksa properly, it is very touching to taste a bowl of good Laksa! Thanks BananaTree!!

Melissa is an outstanding hostess and we were very well looked after. The food at Banana Tree is superb.

The banana tree is my go to for deliveroo, so it was nice to eat there in person. The express lunch menu is a great deal - a main and drink for under £10. The staff were lovely, Eryk and Melissa were very attentive and friendly. Melissa has a great rapport with the regular customers, it's nice to see a restaurant where the staff and customers are familiar with each other - not what I expected from a chain!

Had a Pad Thai takeaway which is always great and Melissa who took my order was so friendly.

Loved the food! We were looking for something to warm up after a long rainy day out, and Banana Tree was the best choice possible! Everything we ate was rich in flavours, spicy and beyond expectations. Furthermore our waiter, Krishna, took perfect care of us and was attentive to all our needs. If we have the opportunity we will definitely come back!

Banana Tree is such a vibe in West Hampstead. The vegan goyzas are honestly such a great way to start a meal, and easily one of the best katsu curry I’ve ever had.

Such a great experience here. We love to pop in for a Katsu curry and the best Gyoza and Spring rolls I’ve ever head. They also offer 2 for 1 cocktails that can’t be missed!

All in all a pretty decent restaurant. The food was nice but was nothing special (comparable to wagamamas) however john was a helpful server and food came out in a timely manner

We regularly eat at Banana Tree West Hampstead and the food is always so authentic, tasty and consistent. However what sets this place apart and makes us come back is the staff - John (the restaurant manager) is amazing and a massive credit to the restaurant/chain and one of the main reasons we come back here so often! Exceptional service and great food too of course!

DRY food with very little quality !! All the dishes we ordered were literally dry?! I hated how crispy the duck was it was literally sharp when I was trying to eat it. The waitress messed up by bribing our mains before the starters.. turns out that they forgot to order the starter so my duck was sitting under the hot plate until we finished the starters and they even bothered to make the starters. Honestly I really did not enjoy how dry the food was. Even the firecracker wings were overcooked dry chicken the sauce wasn’t even sauce-ing. I mean, have you ever swen a DRY papaya salad?! Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

I had an amazing experience at Banana Tree with my server Kainat. Kainat’s service was welcoming, kind, and prompt. The spiced noodles and sticky chicken wings are to die for.

Had a great time especially enjoying the chicken&shrimp pad Thai, which was flavourful and delicious! However, the vegan gyoza wasn’t the best. Overall, a lovely experience with friendly service. The real highlight though was the free dessert it was sooooo gooddd! Sweet surprise! 😊

The service at this place was truly lovely! Melissa saw me trying to wrangle two small children and immediately came out to help. By the time I’d locked up my bike, the kids were seated with crayons and puzzles. She was similar helpful throughout our lunch. The food was good—chargrilled duck was yummy and the shrimp for the pad Thai were juicy. My son loved the chicken satay. We will definitely come back—thanks to Melissa who made the experience a whole lot easier!
