Great traditional Fish & Chip shop for take away. No seating. Parking is residential and can be challenging.

We had cod, chips and mushy peas. All very fresh. Light crispy batter on fish. The fish was succulent and chips not greasy. Service was excellent. We ordered by phone and was ready to collect as promised. We would definitely recommend. Thank you.

The staff at Napoli could not have gone above and beyond anymore than they did recently. It is my parents local fish and chip shop and has been for many many years but they are having to isolate and shield and my Dad was craving fish and chips. I could not collect and deliver for them as I am also shielding. On a whim I messaged them seeing if they deliver. They don’t usually but said that if my parents called, they would sort something out. Not only did they willingly deliver but they did so on a Friday night when they clearly were busy. This made my Dads day and my parents said they were so friendly and kind and the fish and chips arrived hot and crispy. I cannot thank you all enough. Small things mean so much especially during these hard times (lockdown/Covid-19). Napoli deserve all the praise. Thank you so much x

Ordered food from here based on all the existing reviews. We ordered two large cod and chips and were very disappointed. Fish was dry and chewy and really tough hardly any batter, the chips were reasonable ok. The batter was also very dark almost burnt. Nothing like the pictures online. Very long queue - you’d think there is something worth waiting for - clearly not in our experience.

Simply, our favourite chippy, with friendly service Also I am physically disabled and do struggle to get in. But, they kindly offered to help and suggested I ring them and they'll bring my grub out. I'd give them six stars!

this is our usual but tonight we made a telephone call , we get there to a massive que, we were told we still have to que. What’s the point in making a telephone order! gone to wolverton instead!

they are supposed to hold awards for the best fish and chips. I got some F&C on the way home, 8ish on friday, not very busy,but still had to wait for the fish, came out not what you call large (i paid for large), and over cooked. All these people that rate it highly,i think should try a few other places and see. They only serve on their past history. Avoid

It was OK. The large size chips could have fed 2, easily. The fish was ok. They only take cash and it is only take away. Wanted to go there since there is a sign on the roundabout that I drive by every day. Like I said it was OK, but not the 'best'.

I have eaten a lot of fish and chips, and Napoli's always give's you the best tasting fish and chips, even better than Harry Ramsdens The quality is always second to none, and you always get good service. I have eaten other food from there and always enjoyed it.

We e just moved into the area and were looking for a good f&c. We happened to go to the recycling centre nearby this f&c shop and decided to try it out. From the moment we stepped into this delightful establishment , we were warmly greeted. That’so e box ticked. We ordered our food, and read the boards on display that this “shop” had been there for over 30 years. Another box ticked. We waited awhile for our f&c , as it was being cooked fresh. Another box ticked. When it was ready the staff apologised for the wait but it was so worth it. Now I know why people go there.it was excellent! Good food, good price but most of all the customer service is outstanding! Highly recommend them and will be returning again . Thankyou Napoli

We hadn't had Fish & chips here for years & we were in the area so decided to have some,they were lovely & didnt disappoint,we've been trying to find some decent fish & chips in the area for a while but this meal was spot on.

Had fish and chips here the other day. It was very busy so I guess that’s a good thing. The line went down quickly. Food was cooked fresh and was nice. Fish was abit bland But overall it was ok

We pre ordered food for 13 people and it was hot and ready to go when we arrived. Staff could not have been more helpful and when we got it home the food was a-may-zing.!! Will definitely be back.

We are local so pop in often, great fish and chips, chicken, and veggie burgers. Kids can have a little box meal with a toy and a juice drink so son is happy when we go there for dinner.

What a lovely fish n chip we had tonight thank you so much....fresh cod filleted without bones and fresh chips white and properly cleaned with fresh vegetable oil. Loved it perfect...!!!!

Used frequently for the past few years and have NEVER had a bad meal. The fish is always tasty and freshly cooked and the chips are never greasy. Very efficient, polite and friendly staff.

We visited here this evening as we usually do most Saturdays. We don’t live on this side of Milton Keyes but have always felt the fish & chips were worth the extra drive here. Sadly not tonight. Fish was nice but the chips were the worse we have ever had from Napoli, they were a greasy, soggy mess, all stuck together & some had a lot of black in them. Disappointing!!!

Food is freshly cooked and very nice, we thought the cod was a bit small for the price charged, but lovely all the same. Same goes for the sausages for the size of them they are expensive. A nice occasion all treat. Staff are all friendly and helpful

Honestamente puedo decir que fue el mejor pescado y patatas fritas que me he recuerde, tuve abadejo, que fue estupendo, y el bateador era crujiente, ligero y no demasiado grasiento. . . El personal era amable. . . Puede no ser buena. Para mi cintura, pero sin duda volveré.

No hay nada malo con la frescura de el abadejo comí esta noche, y las patatas fritas estaban bien. El problema es claramente la misma que con la gran mayoría de tiendas del sur inglés chip. Que simplemente no usar aceite para freír en una decente. Crecí en el sur de Gales y han visitado tanto de Yorkshire y Lancashire en muchas ocasiones. Las mejores patatas fritas que he tenido estaban en Grimsby. Sí, el pescado venía cruzando una carretera desde el puerto, sí, utilizaron patatas de calidad superior, pero eran lincolnshire gran porque eran cocinadas en goteo apropiados no aceite vegetal. Mientras las tiendas del sur chip no te molestes con este factor de vital importancia, que siempre será mejor que normal. Este chips demuestra que.

I regularly visit Napoli for the freshest fish, the lightest batter and the best chips in the area. The haddock is particularly delicious - cooked to perfection and always a decent size. The staff are cheerful, friendly and efficient even on days when the queue extends outside the shop. Highly recommended.

We've been going here for years, without doubt it must be the best fish and chips in MK. Friendly, always busy and always great!

not a regular user as don't live that side of Milton Keynes but always use if fancy a lunchtime treat or as a yearly treat we have dinner in the car whilst visiting the Christmas lights at Wolverton and Stony Stratford , been using them for 20 plus years and never had a complaint , if i was being picky the only complaint would be sometimes the queue is out the door but if it wasn't then i wouldn't eat there as queues show it is a popular well liked place to eat

It's always a nice feeling when you can enjoy a great product and service in the belief that the people behind it take pride in what they do, which is what comes across the the Napoli. This is a fantastic traditional chippy serving very tasty fish and chips. The portions are generous but I always manage to eat the lot as it is so nice!The people are friendly and find them always receptive to questions and feedback. The best chip shop around around and worth the drive across town.

Napoli is a really friendly company to work with i enjoy working there the staff are very approachable and friendly. The food is out standing. The hygiene is good. I would defanatly reccomend this chip shop.

I would be lying to say that proximity to this chip shop wasn't a contributing factor in my house purchase. This place is great, friendly and welcoming. The fish is always freshly battered and the chips are great. A small portion is enough for two though. Expect to queue on a Friday evening, the wait is justified though.

Haven't eaten here in a few months due to a clean diet, so was buzzed to have my cheat day today, but what a disappointment, definitely was not worth the calories !!I ordered a skinless cod, went to collect it and saw the tiniest cod I've ever seen may as well called it a Birdseye fish finger. When I asked why it was so tiny I was told that's what happens when you order a skinless ....don't think so.Anyway brush it off go home n eat! When I plated it up was when I realised id been robbed. £8.50 for a large cod and large chips and it didn't even fill a normal size dinner plate, to then be topped off with the chips being soggy and layered in excess grease like they hadn't been fried long enough and the fish mediocre but so small I barely got a taste lol.If anyone wants to recommend me a new shop, it'd be appreciated :-)

Very poor ! Undercooked chips with too many black bits in them .Small portion won't be using again ! Better to go to Smarts in Stoney !

Went to buy fish and chips for six and was amazed how extensive their menu is.It is quite a busy shop. I went on a Wednesday evening at about half five and there was a steady trade then.We took our meals home and all really enjoyed them.I am not sure it has a restaurant though.

Always go here for my fish and chips, no more then once a week tho. Family run business, service with a smile and they always recognise you.The place is spotless, fish done to a T and chips hot. A range of pies, mushy peas, pinaple fritters etc are available.Sometimes the queue is out of the door...so many people can't be wrong!

We used to live in Downhead Park where there is an excellent fish and chip shop in the local centre (Downs Barn)Having moved to New Bradwell we were delighted to find the Napoli.It is very small inside and you may need to wait a little while. The staff are excellent and access and parking are OK.The real point of this revue is that the quality of the fish and the cooking cannot be faulted.The prices are just a tad more than other good chippys I have used in the area.Highly recommended.By the way, the flag on the map is, as often occurs on TA in completely the wrong place. Expand the map and follow Newport road to the left and the last purple dot half way to Wolverton is about right. That dot is marked as Carluccio's which is of course in Central MK miles away. Sigh!

Very nice fish and chips - sadly two times in a row ive had 3 large bones in my cod.i appreciate fish have bones, but ive had bones in fish from a chippy.... ever.Poor fish prep......which is a shame because it is a very good chippy

Quality food cooked fresh everyday. The fish is cooked perfectly. The staff are mostly family so friendly.They have never got my order wrong and we area family of seven some places can't cope with such big orders. Have fish and chips here weekly and have done for the past 10 years, I really can't fault this place!

Took a detour on the way home last night to pop in to Napoli's. Getting dinner from here is usually a treat as it is the best chip shop in MK. Chips are great and the fish is great and not greasy either. Staff in the shop are all really friendly too. Can't fault the place. It's worth the 10 minute drive that's for sure!

Definitely the best I've had since moving here and I've tried a few !Ordered a skinless cod, chips n curry sauce. Fish was lovely and cooked perfect and the chips are lush! Portions are slightly on the smaller side in comparison to others but quality over quantity! In addition, the decor is extremely nice for a chippy and extremely clean.

We heard good reviews so thought we'd give it a try and was not disappointed! Welcoming staff and all food cooked fresh. Chips were really nice and not greasy, sausage was tasty - not your usual cheap chippy type and the curry sauce was the best I've ever tasted! Would 1000% recommend and very well priced too.

Great chippie, live local so use this place regularly and never had a bad meal yet. Proper good old fashioned fish n chips. Staff always friendly and polite. Won't use anywhere else anymore. Does get busy at times, but worth the wait.

I have to say that I have never had bad fish & chips from Napoli. They are always friendly & welcoming and I always find that the portions are generous, fresh and tasty. The queue out of the door on Thursdays & Fridays tells you a lot. If you want anything other than the usual I'd always give them a bell to order first. The only downside is they don't take cards - there's a cash machine in the corner shop opposite.

After reading other reviews - I must have picked a bad night to go - I was less than impressed with the quality of fish & chips. The fish was dry like it'd been sat under the heater for a while & the chips were dripping in grease (more so than expected with fish & chips!).Not impressed & would not return!

Very very surprised by the good ratings for this restaurant!Visited last night and was not impressed. I tend to avoid chippies unless at the seaside. This reminded me why, the fish was very dry and not fresh at all, the chips were adequate if a little too greasy. These poor people rating it up need to have proper fish and chips at the seaside.

I can honestly say that this is the best fish and chips We have ever had really fresh, piping hot, and not at all greasy.I will be driving past quite a few chip shops to get there but it is well worth the trip

This is definitely the best fish 'n chips I've found in Milton Keynes. Service is quick and friendly, the chips are crisp, not greasy, and the fish is in some kind of special batter which is really delicious. I come here about once a fortnight as a treat.

We live in the area and have done for many years, as a treat once in a while we buy fish and chips from Napoli, we've always had great service there and never had any cause to complain about the food, it's always been great. Be prepared for a little wait though at peak times as it is popular (that's a good thing for any small business!)

Previously we liked coming here and have always been encouraged to phone in our order in advance, then collect and pay. Tonight we did this in advance as usual and my wife who walks badly, in between having two knee operations, had to wait at the back of the queue of seven while our pre-ordered Haddock sat in the glass boxing stewing or whatever previously-cooked Haddock does? The rudeness of the woman serving undermined years of good experiences coming here. There are other places to get fish and chips in the area.

If I am within 50 miles of this chippy I will detour and relish the best old school Fish and Chips ever.Using the principles of the Michelin star guide, this is worth a detour and therefore should have 2 Michelin stars.

Simply the best fish and chips you can get without being near a fishing port!It's been around for years, its unpretentious and simply prides itself on the quality of its fish and chips!A must for anyone!!

The food here is so good when looking for a new house we tried to be closer to it, ended up 5 doors down!! Regularly visit when we just can't be bothered to cook and the smell is indescribable, if you didn't want it by the time you've smelt it you do! Staff cannot do too much to help you! If it's not cooked they will cook fresh for you. Real nice family restaurant and really enjoy the local history on the walls.Just good luck getting parked nearby as people for some reason loose all sense of how to drive when they arrive and just leave the car blocking multiple spaces and go in! Not the shops fault that a lot of customers are morons! Honestly hands down the best chip shop in Milton Keynes bar none!

I did not eat the fish but my partner said it was fresh and delicious. The battered sausages and chips were amazing! Would recommend!

Although slightly expensive, we make a point of driving here about once a fortnight for the freshly-cooked Haddock. The staff always apologise because we have to wait while they fry it fresh but we don't mind! Has lots of awards and a real family history. If all takeaway establishments were this clean too! Opens for lunchtimes and evenings but beware does not do late night opening. Closes 8.30/9.30 pm range depending on night of week.

We are regulars to Napoli chip shop and love it. So do our friends the live near the coast and agree the fish is the freshest they have had in ages

The food always tastes fresh and is very good value for money. There is always a warm welcome and it's a very clean establishment. By far the best fish and chips in Milton Keynes in my opinion and I guess I am not alone as whenever I drive past there is always a massive queue, sometimes out of the door!

This is by far the best fish and chip shop in milton keynes. Located in new bradwell by the clock tower. Their staff are friendly and polite and genuine people you can have a laugh with. I go to this chip shop on a weekly basis, i have never had a problem with their food, always cooked fresh. You know its a good place to go when you have to queue (especialy on a friday) but atleast you know the food is fresh and the queue goes down quickly. Definatly a must try.

I will drive out of my way to go to this cippy! It's well worth it.The staff are great and the chips are better!

I have been to a lot of fish and chips shops in my time; Napoli's fish bar has to be the absolute best one I have ever been too! the food is so fresh and delicious I now would not ever go anywhere else. its not just the food that is amazing, the whole restaurant is hygienic and spotless. the staff are very friendly and offer good service.overall it is an outstanding place to eat.

Do not live close to this place but given the alternatives is worth the longer journey. Its takeaway only mind.There is a massive queue but that is always a good signThe cod was well cooked with a light batter, the chips were luscious and moreish. I think it was cooked in a nut oil (which is great for me and different from the usual). Reasonably priced and would come again. i don't think there is a better chippy for miles around and I think we have tried most of them

Amazed at the the review saying they had poor service, I lived round the corner for 15 years, always had excellent service and food. I miss their takeaways, good foo, good value.

I have been giong to Napoli for the last 20 years. It has been awarded many prizes for its fish and chips.The chips are great and the staff are always pollite. My husband and I are vegetarian and they are always happy to cook a curried vegetable roll for us. Very nice when you do not feel like cooking. Sometimes you have to wait a little while, but this is the sign of a good chippy!
