After visiting many other Nando's we are extremely disappointed with this experience, food quality was poo with very dry chicken and fries as well as having no taste whatsoever, the restaurant itself was red hot and the beer was warm. Poor service this time I'm afraid Nando's

What can I say about Nando’s leisure WQ.. it is the best Nando’s we have ever been too.. our family love coming here and to be honest we come here once a week 🤣 From the moment you are greeted at the desk to the moment you leave…nothing is ever to much trouble!!! The staff are absolutely brilliant… always such a lovely team spirit… everyone always has a smile on their faces and so happy…especially Tom, Dan and Danni… they are just the best and hardest workers… these guys are literally rushed of their feet every time we are in… Food always comes out so quick and is always 100% spot on!!! The restaurant is always spotless and tidy!!! Keep up the good work guys… and we will see you next week 🤣

This Nando’s is always busy and unsurprisingly too as the food has always been undeniably tasty each time I have visited here. Not once have I left feeling unhappy. However, we felt ignored at first as myself and my partner were in a queue of people waiting. We know how it goes so we just wanted our details to be taken so we could be notified when a table would be available for us, which was also the case for everyone else in the queue. However the hostess just kept asking the queue if xyz name was here for their table, to which they weren’t and she would then go back to ignoring us and leave. We had to wait for another hostess to take over just to get our details so we could wait for a table. Aside from this I was a tad confused when ordering via the app however as there wasn’t an option for water glasses, and it was attempting to get you to buy bottled water so I had to ask for glasses but that’s not an issue whatsoever. And as previously said the food was lovely and service from the waiting staff was amazing.

Ate with the kids and 4 of their friends- food was good, it was Nando’s! What made the difference was the staff, they helped us get a great table so the kids were altogether and were super friendly to them even though it was a busy Friday.

We were there for dinner yesterday (28/07), waited long to get our order placed, waited long for our meals and when it came the waiter practically just dropped it on the table with a large bang! and left. I don't know if he was tired or in a rush. I Didn't enjoy the meal either because of the experience and certainly not going back to that Nando's.

Great experience. I visit this particular Nando’s regularly and I usually go for the fino pitta but minus the chutney. Each time the meal comes out it’s better than the last, piping hot, absolutely delicious. What more can I say. Staff are attentive and tables around us were very quickly cleared and cleaned. My only advice would be to come slightly earlier in the evenings or you may find yourself waiting a while for a table.

The food was sooo good. But when we got there we was seated and when we was given our food we didn’t have any cutlery or any napkins. We had to get it ourselves and then once we had finished eating, the chocolate cake took 20 minutes to get to us.

Dropped into Southampton on the way home from the New Forest. My daughter fancied Nandos. Predictably it was busy and so we left our details with a promise to text when a table was ready. Immediately received a text to confirm we were in the queue - we’d been told it’d be about 20 mins. We remained in West Quay and I kept checking the status in the queue. The time to wait ticked down until 20 mins had passed. Then the page said “we’re running late” with a promise to get us a table as soon as. Then, without warning, no text, the page said “sorry we missed you” and that we’d been removed from the queue. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and will be highly unlikely to bother again here.

Myself and my friends visited Nandos yesterday for a birthday meal. I have a history of an eating disorder and was really anxious about calories being on menus, so I asked my waitress (Summer), for a menu with no calories. Summer was extremely empathetic and explained that at present, there isn’t one. When I went to sit down for my meal, Summer passed me my own menu, in which she had scribbled out all of the calories on it. I am beyond grateful, as she absolutely did not have to do that, and went above and beyond what I’d ever have expected. Nandos do need to get other menus though, without calories on them, as it really will hinder people’s ability to enjoy food out, if calories are staring them in the face.

We've eaten at many Nando's restaurants over the years. This experience was by far the worst. The only one that has prompted a review. Greeted by a woman who we can only describe as a stroppy teenager, who we soon figured must have been the duty manager due to her grey rather than black tshirt. Her greeting was a rather passive aggressive "you will have to wait 5 minutes because I have to clean the WHOLE restaurant". She then went and stood behind the counter (no cleaning!) There were 3 other floor staff, not particularly busy, 5 tables within our immediate vision which were empty and needed nothing more than a wipe. We watch 1 girl polishing the top of the drinks dispenser. Another guy wandered over to the entrance desk. We thought he might do something useful. Instead he said 'Hi', took a sip of water from a glass on the desk and wandered off again! Eventually the young lady in the grey tshirt told the girl still polishing the drinks machine to clean the tables. She then came and asked us how many there were of us, ignoring the party in front of us. I had to tell her they were first. Finally we were seated. We were told to order via the qr code. New system. Internet reception was bad in the building. Took a while to register with Nando's online, put through our order. Then joy of joys, the order would not complete, just a spinning loading icon. Grrr. So we had to go and queue at the counter to place our order anyway. Food took ages, so we got watch grey tshirt girl rushing around, quite honestly making a bit of a scene. Moaning at the other staff. Maybe a bad day. But no attempts made to disguise it. The floor staff looked confused and unsure. One guy kept going up to dirty tables and staring at them as though there was something very wrong, before proceeding to clear them. Very strange experience. It made us realise that in all the times we've eaten at Nando's we've never particularly noticed the service (in a good way) Usually a simple and effective system. Not sure what went wrong at this one. When the food finally arrived it was as expected, thank goodness (2 stars for that).

We went to Nando's today for my son's birthday meal. We got there at about 5pm and it was quiet so got a table straight away. Our waiter overheard it was our sons birthday so told him he could order anything on the menu for free! We had a lovely meal. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off, luckily it was after we had finished eating. We all had to go outside, everything was very well organised and fortunately it was a false alarm. Once back inside our waiter offered my son and daughter a free dessert, they were both full, but he said they could have it to take home. The service we received was brilliant and the waiter went above and beyond to make my sons birthday meal special.

It was my son's 15th birthday, and is was his wish for us to have a meal here as he has always wanted to try Nandos. I tried to book a table, but found out under new rules, you can't, and was advised to just turn up and join a virtual que system. We were told that we might have to wait a little bit. So decided to take the risk, drove half an hour there, arrive at 7pm, only to be told they are fully booked for the whole evening despite the virtual que system!. Well how disappointing!, to be turned away when this is the only way you can do it!. My son's birthday meal ruined, having to drive back home and have a takeaway instead. I think this virtual que system is not working and you should allow us to pre book in advance!.

Different under new rules Had dinner here under the new rules and you have to register then waited to be sent a text when your table is ready which I found to be a bit annoying as basically fir a fifteen minute wait you just have to hand around a bit especially as the reception is sometimes not good so you can worry if you will get the text When the text arrives it says they will hold your table for ten minuets So one person can order food at the till in the usual way which is then brought to you with cutlery and anything else you need Sadly we had a long wait for food as they run out of butterfly chicken they did compensate with free starters and drinks which was a good recovery, it must difficult for the venue to adjust to new ways but the overall experience is not as relaxing as it once was

We are regulars and will be continuing. Nando's never fail to impress me. Food is always good and the staff are very attentive. Especially in west quay branch. One of the staff, Paulyn I believe, was extra helpful during my meal. Very friendly and polite.

A visit to Nando's after many moons was impressive due in part to the new Vusa sauce. The meal itself was good as normal and the unlimited drinks also helps when tackling the Vusa sauce. I am a Nando's fan again.

I must have walked past this place 100 times and never thought to go in. My mum and I decided to try it and we were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the staff were so lovely and I can honestly say that was the best lamb donner I've ever had. My mum ordered chicken as she doesn't like lamb donner from the takeaway but she tried some of mine and wants to go back again to get more lamb! Really casual dining in a beautiful restaurant

Well where do I start! Myself and 3 friends booked in for a bottemless brunch. The service was extremely slow we waited over 15 minutes after ordering our first drink to even recieve it, The cocktails tasted poor and were not up to standard. The food was rubbish and very salty. The waitress and the manager were rude. When we asked a question the waitress rolled her eyes at us. The window where we were sat had clearly been broken so was boarded up but made to look like the easthetic with lights hung on it. Overall we were unhappy with our visit and won't be recommending to other people.
