The food is always great with a good range of choices. Will is a total star ! Professional and down to earth people. I love this place. It is my go to for many reasons, which is enhanced by the welcome you get there.

Previously Bowlers, the venue is now The Muni Bar and Restaurant. Completely renewed inside. Run by Eugene and chef Will. Excellent menu, and a lovely Sunday Roast. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Pete.

Great place to stop with the dog for refreshment

Conveniently situated right on the golf course to reward yourself with a good pint after a round (or commiserate 😁). Food is nice too and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff.

It’s now called the Muni bar and restaurant and is well managed by Eugene. We Attended the soton uni wine club BBQ, we were very well looked after plus the food and service was great. Would recommend ,

Just had our group Christmas meal, three course meal prepared by chef Will, Great team, Great food, Great atmosphere, we do every Sunday for lunch and always great food.

Been going to Bowlers now for a year, really impressed by the staff and food. Always a friendly welcome and very helpful. We decided to have our Christmas meal here, what can I say Will you did us proud food was absolutely lovely hot and so tasty. Big thank you to the lovely staff who served our meals and drinks as always you are exceptional. Eugene you have an amazing team working here thank you and look forward to my next meal, especially pudding.

Great place to relax after a round or a walk

Recently taken over by new owner Eugene in September 2022. If you like great friendly service with a smile and enjoy nice food and drinks in a great location then this is the place to visit. Open to golfers and non golfers, I visited with my wife & our dog for a Sunday roast dinner, great selection & generous portions!

Decent beer, reasonable price and great views. Nothing bad to say really, just a shame it closes a little early and food isn't always available,but from what I gather it's a work in progress under new management so happy days!

After a game of golf a nice pint & bacon sandwitch great service sandwich was first class would definitely recommend even if not playing golf to sit in pleasant surroundings relax and enjoy the scenery

Wonderful place for any occasion. The staff are all so very helpful and it was the perfect place to hold both my 60th birthday party and our regiments Christmas party on the 4th December 2021. The buffet that the chef Will prepared was first class and the DJ's called R&A were brilliant and played a great selection of 70's and 80's music along with a Karaoke slot and the music had everyone up dancing all night. Again our grateful thanks to Amanda and everyone for making the evening a great success. Rae, Chris Barwick and All the 4th US Infantry

We have had a couple of party's and a wedding here but our latest this weekend was a very special occasion our parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary and Bill was an amazing host making sure they had the best night no more could have been done it was fantastic.. our family Thank you Bill and all you're staff x

Everyone was lovely made to feel welcome

This review is a long time coming. We had our wedding here, they made it so amazing we then went on to have a big 30th party. Bill who hosts it is such a lovely, bubbly person, he really does make it that extra special! His speeches are just perfect and gets everyone involved and enjoying themselves! I still get my memories pop up and it makes me smile and lol every time! The food was amazing at our wedding breakfast and everyone was so impressed with the summer bbq! I honestly couldn’t of asked for anymore, it was perfect! Bill will do absolutely anything! For our surprise party I asked him to pretend to be a bouncer and he pulled it off so well it was hilarious! Bill you really are the best!! Thank you for making it so special for us ❤️

Been here a few times, drinks are a bit pricey to what we normally pay but will be going back. Tasty barmaid.

Needs a change in management and a cash injection to provide much needed TLC that could drag the place out of the 70s

The view from the clubhouse bar makes for a welcome stop....coffee and a bacon sandwich are decent.

Friendly staff in the shop. Sandwiches and chips were lovely. Only downside is that the place does not open till 10am.
