Nando's South Aylesford in Tonbridge and Malling

I had a sensational meal here. An incredibly popular dining spot, I had anticipated a short wait but the staff were able to seat me within 8 minutes of arrival. We were shown to our table by the firendly staff. They mastered friendly service but without being over the top. The menus were sticky, but in a way that indicated their use, so we felt reassured that we were going to be getting an excellent meal. Our food arrived quickly and was delcious. The finest burger bun I've had at a Nandos before. Very fresh. We had good fun experimenting with the various sauces before our tummies became full and we had to head home to the premier inn in which we were staying. My thanks to the staff on duty that night who made our experience UNFORGETTABLE. Visited on the 26th Feb 2025 (been busy with work but I've been itching to leave this review).

It’s a rather counter productive situation, every time me and my partner happen to come here they are sold out of half the menu? & it’s been twice we have found hair in our food, it’s a shame because we love Nando’s but unfortunately we will not be coming to this one anymore

This isn’t a bad Nando’s - it’s just not that inspiring location. It’s set within a retail park, so there’s always plenty of parking. Inside, you don’t really notice where you are, so it’s still worth going

Me and my 7 friends came here after school and 2 of them put their money together to get a meal platter but half of it was going to be on card, our cashier Chloe was very patient and tried to help but we took awhile so the food had already been made, our server Nilo kindly let them have it for free as they couldn’t seem to get the card to go through. Thank you Chloe and nilo

We often get take aways from here. Food is generally good, but a little inconsistent. Staff are always friendly and helpful, but the service is unreliable. I'm fed up with getting home and finding one or more items missing from the order. I started counting items before leaving, but it's a pain. They might be improving a bit recently - we'll see.

Honestly this is me being picky, but please for the love of god don’t put to much peri salt on the fully loaded chips. Honestly probably the worse loaded chips I’ve had from nandos. I went for iftar (Ramadan) and I honestly didn’t want to complain. Everything else like the Mac n cheese, sunset burger and garlic bread was great 😊

The standard has gone down in Nandos Aylesford. We’ve been going here for 7 years and it’s very disappointing. We came in at 11:40. Ordered our food after 5 minutes and food did not come out after 45 minutes! Just because I ordered something that is different from your normal chicken, they were not prepared at all. The bread that goes with the liver used to be ciabatta bread and now it looks like a muffin bread. The soft swirl machine was not working. The cheesecake was not soft and gooey. It was hard and we did not enjoy it at all. We did get a free pitta bread with hummus and the staff was apologetic for the delay. However, if they only inform me that there was a problem in the first place then I would have ordered my order. No communication between the team and the manager did not even came up to own up to it. Therefore, we would not be going back to Nandos in Aylesford!

Good selection of chicken based food. Butterfly chicken from the smallest chicken ever it would seem!

Staff has disgusting attitude towards delivery drivers tried getting my delivery the staff and the manager were talking and laughing with each other after some minutes i asked for my delivery and i was met with rude behaviour and aggressive i was told not to come here for deliveries in future

I had a wonderful time.... the food was delicious and the service too. The atmosphere was calm even while it rained outside.

Angelo is really helpful and friendly. Staff in general are nice in this branch, quick service.

Great reception with a warm greeting from the lady ( with tattoos)at the door, made us feel very welcome.

Ordered a takeaway this evening and the food was exceptional! I had the loaded wrap for the first time and it was delicious! Nice surprise with the complimentary custard tart - lovely! Thanks for fantastic food South Aylesford Nandos 🙂😋

Quite a nice place with decent service. Went on a Saturday evening andnmost of the tables are full. Service is very polite and good. Ambience is pretty neat. Only problem we faced was there was not enough sauce bottles and we need to ask the service people for lemon and herb sauce and they were providing couple of packets. We have to ask more than 3 times which we feel Odd. One other thing to note, the washrooms are at first floor.

Ordered to collect, figured it's best to order at 3pm or 4pm for evening collection otherwise there are not usually any slots. Didn't have any sauce sachets but was offered pots for sauce but then there was none out so staff filled from the back. Food was ready on time and still hot when we got home.

Quick service, parking is 3 hr at retail park. No network inside the restaurant, but you get free wifi to use.

Went in for lunch on a weekday and despite the restaurant being busy, the service was excellent. We were promptly seated at a table and the food came out very quickly. The wait staff came by to check in on us and the food was delicious as always. The GM Haroon was very kind and took the time to explain about the sauce set being sold for charity. We walked out with our stomachs and hands full. We will definitely be back next time we’re around.

We came here on a Saturday lunchtime, and the restaurant was somewhat busy; we waited first in line to order at the till for around 10 minutes. I asked a server who was not busy if it was possible to open another till, but this wasn't done even though at least 3 staff were standing around not doing anything behind the till. We were told there was a 25-minute wait for food, but it arrived much quicker than this, which was a plus. However, the food was average. It was pretty dry and not hot. I would not visit this venue again.

Came here for a nandos on a Sunday evening. Wasn't too busy, so we were able to sit down straight away. Ordered the 4 boneless chicken thighs with two sides each. Which is actually smaller than you'd think it would be. Customer service was good, and made sure to give us a table out the way for a highchair.

Fantastic restaurant great food great service friendly staff use it quite a bit and no matter how busy they are you are seated quickly and food always arrives promptly well run establishment highly recommended

I only went there to use the bathroom, and I found it to be clean and well-maintained.

Half empty restaurant, manager told us table would be 1 min, then another waitress put us on a 20 min waiting list , whilst waiting mother went to disabled toilet which was in a disgusting state.

I often go there for pick-up, because it's close to my work. The staff is always friendly, the food is always faster than they estimate, and the food is always better than last time. It's a good place for families, or events, has a fair large free parking ( for the first couple of hours is free i think ). I always enjoy Nando's.

Nando's is Nando's you like it or not. In my opinion, I think you're paying for overpriced chicken. But worth a treat every now and then.The food is tasty if you like spicy food. I Definitely recommend the chicken livers.

The chicken was under cooked. We had to wait 50 min to get our table. The Waitress was not kind. The place was nice but the staff and food does not worth the visit.

manager (couldnt see her name) was so incredibly rude, the most unwelcoming, rude and disrespectful attitude. waited a while to be seen too after she walked past us a handful of times without greeting us or showing us to a table, when she decided to attend to us we were asked ‘are u alright’ with an incredibly distasteful tone, the way she spoke to the staff was yet again absolutely atrocious. she absolutely needs to go

The food as always very good, but there were no drinks and the manager was very confused.

It was my first time dining solo at Nandos but I had a great experience. It was quite busy but I was seated immediately on entering the restaurant and walked through the ordering process. The food arrived promptly and was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly, courteous, polite and really helpful. Would highly recommend coming here again

Great food as always. Atmosphere unique just like any Nandos out there…probably one of the best places around Maidstone.

Food, as ever, delicious. 👍🏻Surprisingly much bigger portions than some other Nandos😲 However...the black and white chairs are filthy and require a good clean. I wouldn't sit on them...come on Nandos, you can do better. My post above was responded to by the owner, apologising that the food didn't hit the spot and they would let the team know...shocking! Read my review please, the food was delicious. It's you who needs to take responsibility for the filthy chairs in your restaurant, don't blame your staff. Own it please. Your staff are great but your chairs are off putting. Shame on you.

Usually excellent for delivery and take away, but the occasional missed item. Food quality is always great as well as the staff.

Food is nice. But the amount of incorrect orders I've had from this place is unreal. I've complained several times, but the orders are still coming to me wrong. I just don't get it. I mean getting an order correct can be that hard, can it!!!

I only had a takeaway but staff were friendly and helpful food was delicious!

Good food well cooked no fuss or issues, what you expect from Nandos

1 of our party Ordered food 15 mins before the rest of us, but it came out after everyone else's and had to ask where it was.

Visited Nandos last Saturday evening was the worst experience we had. Chicken overcooked so completely burning and extremely dry. The order come incomplete so every ten minutes one dish come over, we was 5 people, no folks and plates available so we received the first dish on the table but still need to wait about 8 minutes to get a plate and folks. I show the chicken for a member of staff so she replaced with one chicken breast butterfly extremely spiced as we eating medium spice. Floor was extremely dirty was the most embarrassed dinner as my family come from abroad and choose Nandos as they had a lovely experience before. I do understanding all the young staff don’t have much experience they all learning, but the place is busy need a strong management. The grill chef as from my table we can see the flame come out from the grill probably is in training period too. Big shame as we can’t keep these experience positive, was extremely negative :(

Nice atmosphere but food took very long to be served but service leader came and apologized for the delay and offered us free dessert. Returned today to do a take away. Wasn't quite sure or happy with 20% discount that was supposed to have been applied to the bill. Discount was short of what was proposed

At one point there were 7 plates under the heat lamps. The 2 front of house staff were chatting behind the counter or just walking around. My meal was under there for 11 minutes. I was about to collect it myself.

Awful. Waited ages due to a faulty dishwasher. Had to ask for glasses for drinks. Order was wrong. Missing halloumi and it was cold. Whole place is grubby and greasy. I’ll stick to the Sevenoaks branch and avoid this place.

Good food but waited ages for food whilst listening to music which was too loud. Hard to have a conversation due to the noise. On good note no wait time to be seated and staff friendly.

It's good. But sides could be bigger, like coleslaw, sweetcorn etc. Peri Mayo should come as a complimentary.

I ordered a Prego burger + 2 sides and also a kids burger meal. My burger was the same size as the kids one, it was very nice but a tiny morsel on my plate. The chips are now served in a bowl ( so getting less ) and the corn was slim. I haven't been to Nandos for ages so that's why I noticed the microsopic portions all the more, the prices have gone up too. Very Disappointing. However the service was great and the restaurant was pleasant inside. Very comfy seats.

Absolutely atrocious service yet again from Nando’s Aylesford. Incomplete order delivered for 3rd time in a row and no mechanism to correct with Nando’s and Deliveroo both pointing at each other. End result, family evening spoiled yet again. Won’t be back!

Tasty food, one of the best nandos I've had. The service was good. The sauces and cutlery were not stocked up so I had to ask for cutlery and go to another table for the sauce even though it wasn't busy, not a big deal though. overall I would come here again.

Waited an hour for food turned up, barley warm, and chicken was dry. If I wanted dry chicken, I would have stayed at home

When ordering a takeaway you get less food than sitting in and its the same cost. You get less rice in the box, less fries, missing condiments etc. Its happened too many times! Not good :(

It’s Nando’s so this isn’t really a food review. The staff here were absolutely lovely and really great with my kids in particular!

Amazing customer service. Staff went out of their way to manage our allergy order (peanuts/ tree nuts) and did it with a friendly smile throughout. They gave us regular updates on our order and made sure everything was labelled correctly. Kudos to whoever is running this branch 👍🏼

I’ve just left Nando’s at Aylesford. The service is the best I’ve come across Nando’s. The Manager (I think is called Nilo) and the Team were as polite as helpful. Well done! 👏👏
