Nando's - Lincoln in Lincoln

Nando’s is always good. Everywhere. Not so much the staff. This one has Jonathan on the door meeting and greeting and finding tables. It was very busy but we got a table. The sauces we wanted were not anywhere on the restaurant floor so Jonathan went and got us some from the kitchen. Great service. Thank you Jonathan!

We were off to see a comedy gig at The Engine Shed and decided on a whim to try out Nandos. Ironically we got more of a laugh at the restaurant than the gig. The server didn't seem to want to do anything other than direct us towards using the app. If I heard 'Can't you download the app' one more time I swear to God I would have screamed the word 'App!' at the top of my voice like a lunatic. It was clearly impossible to listen to words, relay them to the 'chef' and bring said food over. It was hard, hard work. As was cleaning the tables apparently. The portion sizes were very small, or they were charging too much. Or both. It was just bad. Still, we had a laugh.

Embarked on a culinary adventure at Nando's Lincoln for a colleague's birthday, and it was an unforgettable journey – not just for the taste buds but for all senses. The food? Absolutely spot-on, delivering that fiery punch we've come to adore. The server? A true gem, bringing cheer and enthusiasm to our table with every visit. Yet, amidst the spices and seasonings, we navigated an unexpected olfactory detour – a distinct aroma reminiscent of the Suez Canal in high summer emanating from our server's pits. While their service was impeccable, the air around our table felt a tad too 'seasoned'. Perhaps a gentle reminder that personal freshness contributes as much to the dining experience as the culinary delights. A dash of deodorant might just be the secret ingredient for future expeditions to this flavor-filled oasis. Will we return? Absolutely – armed with appetites and perhaps a discreet offering of antiperspirant for our intrepid server, ensuring nothing overshadows the zest of Nando's cuisine.

Place is a bit run down, food was ok though general atmosphere wasn't very good and a bit chaotic.

Wow. I was blown away by the speed of food delivery, a particular worker shined with efficiency and professionalism, uplifting the group. Great experience. Thank you Olivia for making my Grandad’s last nando’s the best he could ever dream of.

Ordered to collect. Was ready a couple of minutes after due time, but we were offered a drink while we waited. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Food good,

I Ordered two double chicken burger meals with two sides. I had eaten one of the burgers and heated the other up later. Since I had to heat it up I disassembled the burger and found a worm sticking out, this did leave me uneasy as I had consumed the previous one earlier that day. I tried contacting through their websites form, and then separately in an email, but had no response. This is a shame as I was a pretty regular customer, sometimes more that once a week. (Had no problems any other time I’ve visited).

Went to Nandos 21/1/24. The lass who seated us was nice, The noise of kids screaming, the state of the floor with food all around the tables and leading to the toilet was disgusting. Regular sweep is definitely needed. Opened the menu to be greeted with sauce all inside all 4 of them. I went to the make toilets and they were rank! Pee literally coming out of the cubicle on the floor, all over the toilet seat. Stunk. We left straight away. Never had a Nandos before and it was my daughter's 13th birthday, afraid we never will now as been put off.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Everything is ordered and paid for online whilst you're there. That sounds a bit overwhelming, but it honestly isn't. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. The food was gorgeous, and you get plenty of it. Would visit again.

The place itself is tatty, not very clean and lacks any kind of atmosphere. We had the boneless chicken platter to share with fries and coleslaw. The chicken was ok but the chips were cold. After I complaining we were brought two portions of freshly cooked chips. I have to say the if I were the manager of that place half the staff would be sent home for a good wash and clean clothes. The person I complained to I assume was a person in charge. Looked very unkempt. His black dirty jeans were hanging half way around his backside with his pants clearly visible. He had on a very dark red shirt which was very stained. Other staff also looked dirty. This does not give a good impression. Also I am not impressed with someone calling me darlin’, very unprofessional. Would not recommend and neither would I go there again.

Dreadful. Worst nandos I have been to I was looking forward to a nice HOT meal after a 6 hour drive but my food was so cold, my mums meal was aswell so had to complain and ask for it to be re cooked Staff wandering around aimlessly, yawning looking like they couldn’t be bothered & wanting to be elsewhere. The worst part of this dining experience was I witnessed one of the chefs sat down with food, picked his nose rolled it & flicked it. Absolutely disgusting

Had a great selection of food with friendly staff. If you haven't had a Nandos before then definitely give it a try.

We visited Nandoes Lincoln for lunch. We had the boneless sharing platter. It was absolutely delicious. I would also like to do a shout out and mention Rob who served us and looked after us. He went up and beyond to make our experience a pleasurable one. I would also like to thank him for chasing me down the road when I left my scarf behind. Not many people would have bothered.

Food was good and service excellent . The place was filthy Great big hanging light features directly over the tables coverd in cobwebs as were the walls and spot lights even cobwebs in the toilets at waist height.

Who does don’t love a Nando’s!?? Food was hot and tasty. Service was prompt especially as it was so busy. Only minor let down was the cleanliness- tables needed a better clean but when asked the server was happy to oblige

Menu items missing, app wouldn't work, desert didn't arrive until I asked...twice but what I had was usual excellent standard. Partners sides were bland though. Glad I am not trying yo be vegetarian.

Wow ,where to start. Lincoln Nando’s. Food was fine ,no complaints there,but; the actual restaurant is filthy. Dirty cutlery,filthy floors, and the bench seating is really really grubby. I don’t think it has ever been cleaned. Sadly that’s the last visit I’ll ever make there.

Manager is superb. Didn’t have the membership number ready when we bought the food. At the end of the meal and just as they were closing up, he jotted down my number and at 1 in the morning he added my meal which meant an orange reward. What a star! Will definitely be going back.

Super fast service. Amazing food. Our server Alex was really friendly and super attentive.

The food was fresh and well prepared. The staff were attentive and efficient. The outside seating was all free with a slight risk of rain but we chanced it and stayed dry. It was great to overlook Lincoln's Bradford Pool and watch the world go by.

Came here for a family get together and the service was exceptional. Credit to all the team.

Vince from start to finish fantastic made sure we didn’t have any allergies and very good communication to the rest of the team we bought the creative block 2 which was really nice and a surprise desert topped off the evening thank you vince and team

Me and my partner had a really lovely date night at nandos this evening and we’re taken care of by the most loveliest waitress Becca! She was very attentive, checked back on all of our food and looked after us so so well. I would like to comment on the fact though, that although the restaurant wasn’t busy, Becca seemed to be on her feet the whole time doing the floor by herself, and for what looked like to be managers, in checkered shirts, were gathered often at the till chatting for the majority of the course of the time we were in the restaurant. Which to be honest, was disappointing considering no one seemed to be helping Becca. Overall tho was a lovely experience and would highly recommend the service we received!

The most amazing nando's experience I have ever had. The chicken thighs were succulent and very tasty. The waiter seemed happy to work here and was very polite. All in all a fabulous meal.

This was our third visit to Lincoln Nando’s this year. Last two were May and June. Was so disappointed this time. Although there were plenty of staff working, there was a shortage of cutlery on the self serve condiment area. Our food was served promptly but it arrived tepid and the garlic bread was soggy and not crisp. Whilst eating we observed the staff seemingly More interested in congregating at the table nearest the kitchen and chatting,even whilst hot food was sitting on the counter growing cold. So no surprise that ours wax the worst we’d ever experienced in a Nando’s. I did tell the waiter that the food was just warm and not hot when he enquired if we’d enjoyed our meal but he seemed non plussed. We will not be returning for another meal. Advice to you all. Don’t venture there unless you enjoy like warm food.

If you're thinking about going in to order and collect food, don't bother. It's a Sunday night, I've been sat here for 50 minutes, the place is empty, but they're prioritising Deliveroo and Just Eat orders over people who are literally sat in front of them waiting.

I usually adore Nandos, but yesterday it was terrible. We waited almost 10 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant. Our drinks were not brought over until our meal arrived, there was no check back and our food was wrong, our plates were not cleared and the menus were not even taken off the table. Food was good but rice was cold and peri-salted chips were too salted on a cluster, with none on the rest. Given that we were one of 4 customers throughout the meal, service was very poor.

I'm in Nandos Lincoln now having just enjoyed a very tasty meal with my wife. Staff went out of their way to make our meal perfect. We had problems with a gift card and had to make some phone calls to resolve the issue which took some time. Our meal was already prepared but they made us a fresh meal which in my opinion is top service. Credit to Ashley and Jake who served us. Spot on 🙂

Loved the outdoors area of the restaurant overlooking the wharfs, it took the famous Nando's eating experience to the next level! It opens till 10 pm which is great to enjoy the long hours of summer days.

Staff were lovely and really helpful. However there was a spider in my ice cream which let nandos down as my main course was lovely. However, the staff rectified this and replaced my ice cream.

I wouldn’t recommend here at Lincoln nandos. The staff were nice but there was a spider in my ice cream, we told the staff working and they kindly changed it but no refund was given.

Really nice Nandos on the water front. Staff are all very friendly compared to other Nandos that I’ve been to. Food also brought to table very quickly so it’s always fresh

Just came in for daughters 18th birthday. Was greeted and shown a table by a pleasant chap. Daughter was trying to order through the app( that seems common practice nowadays) said I would be quicker going to the serving area, which I did and was right. Food was ok but the portion size was a bit small. I shared a platter with my son, daughter and wife had separate meals, now they had more chips each than we did between two,. Think they ought to label the sauces different. Mild couldn't feel anything may as well not bothered medium was about 1 degree hotter, the very hot was about 2 degrees hotter than mild. To be fair flaming hot Doritos are hotter than Nandos extra hot, been a bit picky but the sauces should do as they say on the bottle.

Went at 8pm This evening for a last minute Friday treat! Placed an order of two meals with peri fries, coleslaw, regular fries and garlic bread for sides. My regular fries and garlic bread were for my daughter to eat.... After waiting 30 minutes for our takeaway to arrive in a sealed bag...we left to find out my fries covered in spicy peri seasons and my garlic bread non existent. So everything my daughter wanted either spicy or not even in the bag. Pretty disappointing. Haven't been for years and definitely won't be going back if they struggle with such a tiny order after half an hour let alone the pitta was that shredded it was almost impossible to eat. So after getting our hopes up we ended up having to go to mcdonalds as you weren't capable to completing the order and I had one hungry child.

Love a cheeky nandos. Nothing better than chicken with some lemon and herb sauce. 😊

Fast service & delicious food, love it!

Food was ace and the staff were brilliant! Thought I’d leave a review as it didn’t let me on the Nandos app and didn’t get an email to do so. James served us and checked upon us to make sure everything was alright. He came across as being very friendly and I’d have him serve me any day of the week! Alex was also very positive and made our meal very enjoyable, well done Nandos you have yourself some great staff.

Orders are placed via the app or at the till. Service was quick and the food was hot and tasted nice. Could do with a few more varied veggie options, the ones there are all quite similar, but there are several in the menu to choose from. A good experience.

Dreadful. Worst nandos in the country

Good food. Although the rice wasn't spicy or tasty. That aside, every other food was excellent mostly the chicken.

Visited here on a Saturday at 5pm. Seated quickly, though proceeded to tell us to order through app or website unless paying by cash. We tried the qr code we had at the table and took so long, and couldn’t put in table no unless we entered email address. I don’t want you to have my email address to bombard with emails. I just want food. So Instead we went to the counter and paid, and it wasn’t a problem at all. Food arrived and was ok, nothing to rave about. It’s just Nando’s. It’s all the same. Toilets smelt really quite bad. When tables were cleaned food was still stuck to the side of the tables.

I can't praise the staff enough .They were so helpful when asked if I had allergies I explained what I was intolerant to and the waiter was so thorough on making sure I was choosing the right food also when I went to get drinks the barman was so thoughtful .We visited on friday 12th May 2023 . The staff are a credit to the company .We will definitely visit again .

I went here and kept ordering creamy mash until they told me to stop and even then I started stealing other people's idk what they put in it but it's good. Also chicken

Great meal fantastic service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend. The staff were extremely friendly and the food came out in no time. I ordered the chicken burger with hot sauce and it was delicious, I only had the medium hot sauce and that was tingling my mouth so I dread to think our hot 🥵 the very hot sauce is.

Food came quick and lovey to eat. One of our drinks didn’t come straight away but one when did Adam offered to fill it for us. Nice customer service but they did beg for a review lol

Called in at Nando’s today me and my daughter. Had halloumi for starter very bland just char marks no seasoning at all the halloumi at Wetherspoons is way better so disappointed. Then had butterfly chicken breasts with skin on peri peri fries and rainbow slaw....

Great food at Nandos. A very popular food venue. It did take a while for our good to arrive. Having been ready, the server did stop to chat to another server. But it's what it is. Enjoyed it and will be back.

Visited this afternoon again with a family member. Food was delicious - never been disappointed with a meal here. Really friendly staff, especially one of the young lads who looked around my age (student) who I spoke to before I left!

Cold meal served up not impressed we also had a party of 6 on the same table. They ordered the same time as us, we had finished our meal and theirs hadn't even arrived. My son in law enquired as to where it was only to be told, oh can we check that you ordered on your phone. Yep there you go.....oh dear i'll put the order through and get the manager. The waitress then came back and said you can all have a free pudding. Manager couldn't be bothered to see us. We won't be returning to this restaurant 😒

Alright service .. FOOD GOOD … felt like I was being rushed with my food though. Adam really did make sure to take care of us though, whereas Will decided to watch from a far.

We’ve been to Nando’s in Lincoln quite a few times. It’s always a pleasant experience. Staff are always really friendly. And it is always really clean. The food is so good! A must visit restaurant in Lincoln!

Not quite sure what the hype is all about. I paid just over £13 for a chicken burger, chips and coleslaw. Not to mention my mate sat opposite me pointing out the huge amounts of dust on the light fittings and fixtures and the seating at the back of the room being filthy. For somewhere with such a high reputation I wasn't impressed and won't be revisiting.

We have been here twice so far this year (month!). Both occasions very good: food hot, tasty and less than 30 mins wait, despite been near full each time (a Sunday afternoon & Tuesday night). I am celiac, so stress about gluten free & have always been well catered for. Will continue to keep eating here.

Lovely place, I ordered a Chicken Pitta with Peri peri chips and Garlic bread delicious. I've been to Nando's before and they've always been very helpful and super friendly amazing staff it was very quick and they accommodate very well! Overall what a wonderful experience! I'm coming back for sure 🥰.

Great experience! The waiting staff were very welcoming. Our server Will was funny and courteous, and ensured that our time was very enjoyable. Adam was also very kind and welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure that we left 100% satisfied. Would definitely come again

The staff were friendly, but when we arrived with four people, they told us there would be a 45-minute wait for food. There were only a couple of people in the restaurant, so it was unclear why there would be such a long wait. We didn't end up staying and found somewhere else to eat.

Been twice in less than a week, my friend brought me last week for my first time entering a Nandos, the food was lovely, the service was very good. It was lovely and clean.

Popped in 6th of January at 12.30 and supervisor Rob was extremely helpful 10/10
