We visited this branch today and it was the best Nando’s meal we’ve ever had. Since we’ve had many across London, we had to leave a review. The food was all fresh and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The whole team were particularly efficient and friendly.

Loved every second of being there! Dan our server was so friendly! Salad dressing was amazing

As always a wonderful Anniversary meal at Nando’s, was a beautiful day, excellent service and… a delightful surprise, the return of the creamy salad dressing - absolutely love this stuff on them chicken wings!! So big shout out to Max for bringing back the creamy salad dressing!!!! Is the best!

Nice nandos, a bit smaller than your typical nandos with not many tables, they do have a few tables outside though for when the weather allows. Gets busy quite often though so you might need to queue during peak hours. Despite this though they do keep things running well and the food doesn't take long even though it's busy. Wish they had hot drinks and bottom less rooibos tea though.

I went to this Nando’s Richmond on Friday 14/03/25 to pick up chicken meal for my son, I ordered for take away, by the time I have finished ordering and sat down waiting for my order, less than 5 minutes later the guy said your order is ready, I said that’s very quick as normally will take longer to cook the chicken, but he said, no the chicken already cooked, I didn’t take much attention of that but then I noticed while he’s packing the box that it’s written the wrong flavour on it, so I said I didn’t take much notice order that, it’s the wrong order, he quickly went to the guy on the grill and told him something and came back with the right one I ordered, I was surprised to the speed of the order, by the time I got home and opened the chicken box, I can see the chicken looks old and very dry, very obvious the chicken they served me, they cooked it hours ago and they just warmed it and put it inside the box, I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager explaining what’s happened, there was no apology or sorry we served you food not up to standards, instead he insisted that the food is fresh, and if I want to complain I should go to the website to write a complaint, which I did, they food went to the bin as it can cause food poisoning, such a bad experience with this restaurant in Richmond, Avoid this Richmond restaurant, they serve bad, their customers service very bad from the management to the rest of the staff, they don’t care what kind of food they serve customers, AVOID

I’m disappointed to be writing this review, but I feel it’s necessary. This is my local Nando’s, and I’ve never had major complaints—until now. About 10 days ago, I ordered two meals for dinner. A few hours after eating, I began experiencing severe symptoms of food poisoning, which lasted into the next day. I was so unwell that I had to take a day off work. Given that I hadn’t really eaten much else that day, it was clear that the Nando’s was the cause. I called the restaurant to report what happened, and they assured me that a manager would get back to me the next day. That never happened. After waiting a few days, I followed up, only to be told the same thing. A week passed with no response, so I called again and finally spoke to the manager, who took note of my experience and once again promised to call back. Still, nothing. After yet another follow-up, I was met with dismissive and unprofessional responses. The supervisor even kept telling me to “relax,” showing zero customer service skills or empathy. When I finally got the manager on the phone, he just kept repeating that I should call back tomorrow. The way this situation has been handled is unacceptable. Instead of addressing a serious concern, they seem to be hoping I’ll forget about it. Extremely disappointed with their lack of accountability and poor customer service.

Amazing Nando's restaurant in Richmond, lovely stuff, very helpful, clean tables and toilets, good quality food and great atmosphere! Edit, 2 years later: Still amazing Nando's near Richmond Park and Underground station, competitive prices, and tasty food. Almost all the time when I went to Richmond Park , I ate here, and until now, I was never disappointed.

Went on a Thursday lunch and it was dead, souless. Good felt very average.

It’s your basic food chain restaurant. Food comes out super quick. Not the cleanest place because they are so busy I guess.

would put 0 stars if i could. Ordered a platter and only 40 minutes after ordering (with only 6 other tables in the restaurant) we were told they were out of the chicken we ordered. Staff came back to us with excuse of NYE but as paying customers this is atrocious and to make us wait 40 minutes before telling us is absolutely ridiculous. Awful service. Will not come back

Lovely time out with friends. Service was absolutely incredible, only mentioning by name due to such incredible nature, Ollie was lovely all evening, cracking good jokes and making us feel so welcome. He deserves the world.

Guy named ollie has a problem. As we walked in he was saying how he hated kids and was being disrespectful about which tables to sit in. When we were ordering i asked for the kids menu as i had a small amount of money so i asked if i could have the kids menu he then proceeded to make a joke about it and how i should know where it is. He did many more disrespectful gestures and when we were leaving he refused to give his name as he was scared about the review he proceeded to say that he does not have to tell us anything after we git his name form a colleague who was very helpful food was tasty but service from one person ruined the visit. Please have a strong talk with him thank you

First time in England... we were hungry... we dropped in and got the best food we had in a looooong time. Garlic bread is fire🔥 I would live here just for nandos

I’d happily change my review to 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the lack of accessibility for wheelchair users, the extremely cramped seating, leaking roof top and wet floor RIGHT by the entrance, and not having a food item I was looking forward to, orderable online. The temperature inside was far too warm and stifling. And the tables weren’t clean upon arrival. My partner and I sat down, and ended up having to leave due all these options. Terrible shame, had fond memories of this Nando’s from 10+ years ago.

Good food (like all nandos) but terrible service and staff. Incompetent running of the seating, rude comments, and people who must dislike their jobs and take it out on customers. No longer a good location like it used to be

Nando’s (subgerente) absolutamente no podría haberse preocupado menos por el impacto en una fiesta de 10 años y no hizo ningún intento de corregirlo. Aún no tenemos un reembolso por la comida que no llegó. Probablemente el servicio al cliente más arrogante y desdeñoso de la historia.

Stopped by Nando’s in Richmond after a Sunday walk in Richmond Park. It was quite busy, and the space itself is quite small, which was a bit disappointing as it felt a bit cramped. Despite that, the service was impressively fast and very friendly. I ordered the loaded fries, which you can’t go wrong with – they were delicious as always! Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick, tasty meal after a day outdoors, but be prepared for a bit of a crowd on weekends.

Quiet for a Monday evening, very clean. The main meal was really good it was served hot and tasty for 6 people so a large order. Starters were a little dissapointing - sweet potato fries could have been cooked for longer as they were a bit hard and the hummous had whole chick peas in it which the adults liked but the children didn't.

When busy have to wait long time but apart from than great place to eat cheap and cheerful. Staff are lovely no complaint

You get the Nandos experience here. Well cooked chicken, clean restaurant, and kept clean by the staff. App ordering is pretty straightforward. The food is ok and is good for a family meal at any age of the family and friends. The desserts need to be improved but it's ok

The outside seating is a nice touch. Food was decent. Service was ok, friendly staff. Ordering system wasn't explained. We ended up waiting for a long time with no waiter taking our order so went up to the counter to order. It's a small restaurant and as such is a little cramped. For Richmond it's pretty decent value.

Super busy restaurant with waiting hours around 30 minutes. We decided to take away at first but when we were waiting, a table became available and we were quickly seated. The food were amazing, and service was warm and quick. However, the tables were a bit too close to each other therfore the 4 stars.

Good food, with affordable price, very friendly service, and good location. They have kids menu. Chicken wings dish is a must try... There are 5 level of spicy : Plain, wild herb (recommended), medium, hot, extra hot. We need to take stairs to enter the restaurant. Toilets are upstairs.

I stopped eating the broccoli because it was severely undercooked and crunchy. my friend’s chicken was undercooked and the chef decided to bring back the same chicken and claim it wasn’t undercooked, even though it was red and wet. it seemed as though he wanted to show her up. a very weird atmosphere and a rude chef.

The main problem I had with eating here was it was dirty. We were there for an early lunch so it was quite empty however the tables and seating were dirty, which suggests that they had been left like that from the night before. The table we found which looked the cleanest had a hair on it which was off putting. There was debris behind the machine which dispenses water and ice. This is unacceptable for a business particularly one which is selling food.

Me and my girlfriend came here, she is gluten intolerant and it ended up taking around 10 minutes for the staff to even serve me as all i asked for were sweet potato fries i understand as allergies need to be checked although i gave the staff a specific instruction to bring all the food out together, they brought all the food out separately. The chicken was overdone and hard the fino pitta was obviously slung together and it was cold as was my girlfriends chicken which was also extremely rubbery snd difficult to cut overall the food took 30 minutes to come out. Not an enjoyable experience. and the tables we sat at outside had menus and napkins littered all over the floor. poor.

The place wasn't the cleanest of restaurants. Food was decent. The mac n cheese and loaded fries are amazing and highly recommended.

Great service catering for our large group of over 10 people by all the staff. Food good as in any other Nandos but the corn cobs were much better than in other branches as it was grilled 😋

My food was cold, along with my dinner mate’s, and when I explained my concern to the staff, I was met with rude responses, and not even an apology. I will not be eating here again.

Nando’s atmosphere is the real deal however the chicken here was not as juicy as rest of the Nando’s ! I tried the one in Putney and it was top notch ! May be the chicken needs to be thawed well before they cook! ambience and atmosphere is good as always ! Staff was very polite and courteous!

Nandos Richmond is my favourite branch but last time the wating staff was not impressive. The waitress who attended us didn't have good information about seat availability neither did she seem to care much about it. Also, when I ordered a drink from the new summer menu, she just handed us empty glasses (those drinks are not available on the tap)

As regular at various Nando's in london over the years, this has to rank the worst ever! We arrived at just before 20:00hrs but due to our order of 9 people ' disappearing ' which l suspect was shown as delivery instead but why did the waitress not think that table has not had any food on the table for a good hour!! Terrible service and poor communication between staff and kitchen....make matters worse some of the food we ordered were unavailable despite paying.....let's just say l was too hungry and angry to seek another venue but never again. And yes spoke to the manager who was equally dismissive and just wanted to get rid....l advice you to check every five minutes after placing your order incase it's been ' delivered' instead. Maybe they are too busy with delivery orders and taken their eye off the customer actually sat on a table

We waited an hour for our food and could see some of it under the heat lamps for about half an hour, then asked the waitress where it was and turns out they had forgotten about it and we were just told it’ll be out soon. Waited ten mins and it came out and the staff didn’t seem to care that we’d been waiting over an hour for our food, which was stale and half cold when we got it. I’m not very confrontational so I felt bad just asking where it was. We thought maybe they’d apologise or give us something after but as soon as we were given the food they just ignored us. Very disappointed as this was a waste of a lovely evening.

Good food and friendly staff. It's quite a small Nandos, so be prepared to wait if you go at a busy time. Would have been great if the aircon was on as it was very warm in the restaurant when we went last week on a hot day. The toilets could also do with more regular cleaning - the ladies toilet wasn't the cleanest/most inviting

Standard Nandos ( which is always good!)

I went to nando’s on a Friday evening with my family of 4 , and was approached by Ollie who immediately welcomed us and the kids with a big smile. I was seated quickly by Ollie and was told how to order and that if anything was need you could ask him.Food came rapidly and was perfection - my compliments to the chefs - and I will definitely coming back for the great costumer service and the fantastic food.

The staff didn’t understand simple English. 3 different staff members didn’t understand English they had to get someone to understand English. How can Nando’s employ staff that do not speak English???? Terrible service avoid avoid avoid

What a let down of a Nando’s. We went there on a Friday evening around 8pm. Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Then got told they had no chicken left, which considering they are a chicken restaurant is a big issue! We then got told they had thighs; ordered 4 and they were no bigger than a 5cm x 5cm piece. They didn’t have the drinks we ordered and had to get a refund! All in all a very poor experience.

Food was great but what was even better was Ollie's charismatic smile. He really lit up the location with his charm. 10/10 experience.

Food was good. Could have done with a bit more and also a dessert. Very annoyed there was no toilet paper in ladies' toilet or hand dryer working. Very shoddy. Spoke to the Manager to advise him. These should be checked on an hourly basis.

Great service, tasty food as usual. You can always count on Nandos. If you are sitting in the front part of the restaurant if it's cold outside you will feel the draft every time when someone comes in or the door is left open. But otherwise it has cosy atmosphere.

I recently visited Nando's in Richmond and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with their customer service. Upon arrival, I was informed by the manager, Jorge, that the restaurant needed 30 minutes to recover service. Despite expressing my willingness to wait, Jorge abruptly denied my request, stating that I could not wait. What made the situation even more perplexing was the fact that there were approximately 15 empty tables in the restaurant at the time. This inconsistency between the manager's explanation and the available seating suggests a significant lapse in communication and customer service standards. Adding to the discomfort, it was freezing cold outside and slightly raining, making the refusal to accommodate waiting customers even more frustrating. Overall, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and flexibility exhibited by the management at Nando's. Such instances of poor customer service can greatly impact a restaurant's reputation and deter future patronage. I hope that the management takes steps to address these issues and improve the overall customer experience at Nando's in Richmond.

I love a Nando's, my wife loves a Nando's, it seemed a safe bet and we were able to get seated fairly quickly. We ordered via the app, which was quite convenient although there was quite a wait for the glasses to arrive, then the starters and a seemingly fairly long wait for the food. It also transpired there was no cutlery left. upon asking one of the staff he managed to source a couple of forks and a knife so we had a set each. It was somewhat maddening that they didn't think to top up the rest of the cutlery instead meaning that once people spotted we had cutlery they all then asked. By the time we had finished our meal the cutlery was still not topped up! The other reason for marking down was the state of the toilets, it was a bit of a warzone in the gents and my wife said the ladies were just as bad. I'd give the benefit of the doubt and assume they may have been short staffed?

Friendly staff and efficient service

Olli (Oliver), our servicing server, was accommodating and remarkably friendly/welcoming. The manager, Dan, was very professional. The overall experience was extremely positive. Many thanks, Mr. Nandos.

The nandos feels old, dark and cold and in need of a refurb. Food was good, usual nandos quality. Bathrooms were filthy. No Coke zero loaded onto the drink machines the whole time we were there. We asked more than 3 times... Service was definitely slow. Have definitely had better at nandos before

Needed a table for 3, slight wait of 20 minutes, which I was informed about up front. Lovely hostess who on noticing I had a sore throat gave me a glass of water, really kind of her. Friends arrived and we were shown to the table. Used the app to order which us simple and straightforward. They had run out of corn so we were asked to choose an alternative, this was accomplished without fuss. Food arrived, hot and exactly as asked for. Service was swift, polite and didn't disturb our evening. Food we ordered was delicious and drinks were chilled.

Nestled in the old town of Richmond, Nando's always makes the kids happy. Grilled Chicken and sauces to satisfy every palate🍻 🐓🍻

Terrible experience ordering. My order never arrived and was marked as ‘delivered’ when I had not received the order. No delivery driver was around my place and no one knocked at my door. Seems like Nando's doesn’t mind having their delivery drivers having free food and stealing customers orders. Nando’s didn’t do anything about it. I really needed that food.

Good food, even though my husband's Chicken was cold. They replaced his dish immediately. Downfall is the toilets are upstairs and with a bad leg, extremely difficult to climb and come down. Service was good

Service was quick, and the food was really nice, and it was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful.

Although it is a little expensive for the food it is, it is very good, I ordered a Sunset Burger and it was very good.

The chicken butterfly was very good. They serve a lot of fries and the garlic bread is very enjoyable.

Go left after getting out of Richmond station. 10 minutes walk. Its near The riverside. Riverside is only 4 minutes walk from Nando's. This Nando's branch is a small but cozy place to dine in. The food is awesome 👌

Our visit to Nando’s was deeply unsatisfactory, marked by prolonged wait times, below-average customer service, and the unfortunate serving of cold and stale food. After returning our initial order, we endured another extended wait, only to receive the same subpar meal, with both the chips and chicken still cold. Frustrated, we requested a refund. Unfortunately, the manager’s response was far from accommodating; they seemed indifferent as they hurried about, eventually reluctantly providing us with our refund.

The restaurant environment is generally clean After guests finish their meal, the waiter will immediately clear the table Today’s meal is chicken legs and chicken breasts It's a bit too old and the meat is no longer tender and tender. The best Nando's experience to date. The staff were the most attentive yet. The app wouldn't let me pay for my meal, approved in my banking app then fidnt go through. Not a problem, as card went straight through at the till. The food was cooked yo perfection andxthe service felt individualised. We felt special. Fantastic.

Nando's are not all created equal. This is an excellent branch with good fresh and well cooked food, and friendly management.
