Great service, tasty food as usual. You can always count on Nandos. If you are sitting in the front part of the restaurant if it's cold outside you will feel the draft every time when someone comes in or the door is left open. But otherwise it has cosy atmosphere.

I recently visited Nando's in Richmond and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with their customer service. Upon arrival, I was informed by the manager, Jorge, that the restaurant needed 30 minutes to recover service. Despite expressing my willingness to wait, Jorge abruptly denied my request, stating that I could not wait. What made the situation even more perplexing was the fact that there were approximately 15 empty tables in the restaurant at the time. This inconsistency between the manager's explanation and the available seating suggests a significant lapse in communication and customer service standards. Adding to the discomfort, it was freezing cold outside and slightly raining, making the refusal to accommodate waiting customers even more frustrating. Overall, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and flexibility exhibited by the management at Nando's. Such instances of poor customer service can greatly impact a restaurant's reputation and deter future patronage. I hope that the management takes steps to address these issues and improve the overall customer experience at Nando's in Richmond.

I love a Nando's, my wife loves a Nando's, it seemed a safe bet and we were able to get seated fairly quickly. We ordered via the app, which was quite convenient although there was quite a wait for the glasses to arrive, then the starters and a seemingly fairly long wait for the food. It also transpired there was no cutlery left. upon asking one of the staff he managed to source a couple of forks and a knife so we had a set each. It was somewhat maddening that they didn't think to top up the rest of the cutlery instead meaning that once people spotted we had cutlery they all then asked. By the time we had finished our meal the cutlery was still not topped up! The other reason for marking down was the state of the toilets, it was a bit of a warzone in the gents and my wife said the ladies were just as bad. I'd give the benefit of the doubt and assume they may have been short staffed?

Friendly staff and efficient service

Olli (Oliver), our servicing server, was accommodating and remarkably friendly/welcoming. The manager, Dan, was very professional. The overall experience was extremely positive. Many thanks, Mr. Nandos.

The nandos feels old, dark and cold and in need of a refurb. Food was good, usual nandos quality. Bathrooms were filthy. No Coke zero loaded onto the drink machines the whole time we were there. We asked more than 3 times... Service was definitely slow. Have definitely had better at nandos before

Needed a table for 3, slight wait of 20 minutes, which I was informed about up front. Lovely hostess who on noticing I had a sore throat gave me a glass of water, really kind of her. Friends arrived and we were shown to the table. Used the app to order which us simple and straightforward. They had run out of corn so we were asked to choose an alternative, this was accomplished without fuss. Food arrived, hot and exactly as asked for. Service was swift, polite and didn't disturb our evening. Food we ordered was delicious and drinks were chilled.

Nestled in the old town of Richmond, Nando's always makes the kids happy. Grilled Chicken and sauces to satisfy every palate🍻 🐓🍻

Terrible experience ordering. My order never arrived and was marked as ‘delivered’ when I had not received the order. No delivery driver was around my place and no one knocked at my door. Seems like Nando's doesn’t mind having their delivery drivers having free food and stealing customers orders. Nando’s didn’t do anything about it. I really needed that food.

Good food, even though my husband's Chicken was cold. They replaced his dish immediately. Downfall is the toilets are upstairs and with a bad leg, extremely difficult to climb and come down. Service was good

Service was quick, and the food was really nice, and it was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful.

The chicken butterfly was very good. They serve a lot of fries and the garlic bread is very enjoyable.

Good place if you are looking for a fairly healthy food option at a good price

Although it is a little expensive for the food it is, it is very good, I ordered a Sunset Burger and it was very good.

Go left after getting out of Richmond station. 10 minutes walk. Its near The riverside. Riverside is only 4 minutes walk from Nando's. This Nando's branch is a small but cozy place to dine in. The food is awesome 👌

Our visit to Nando’s was deeply unsatisfactory, marked by prolonged wait times, below-average customer service, and the unfortunate serving of cold and stale food. After returning our initial order, we endured another extended wait, only to receive the same subpar meal, with both the chips and chicken still cold. Frustrated, we requested a refund. Unfortunately, the manager’s response was far from accommodating; they seemed indifferent as they hurried about, eventually reluctantly providing us with our refund.

The best Nando's experience to date. The staff were the most attentive yet. The app wouldn't let me pay for my meal, approved in my banking app then fidnt go through. Not a problem, as card went straight through at the till. The food was cooked yo perfection andxthe service felt individualised. We felt special. Fantastic.

Nando's are not all created equal. This is an excellent branch with good fresh and well cooked food, and friendly management.

This is my favourite Nandos and I visit it often. The food is always very good and the service is friendly.

Extremely unprofessional staff. We ordered and paid using their barcode online system. 20 mins later we inquired where the order was. 5 mins later they brought it out and asked me to pay, again. I I informed them I had already paid using their online system. They accessed me of lying!! I showed them an SMS from my credit card company for the exact value of the order they had just brought out. Again, they refused to accept this as proof! So I showed them a Nando email receipt. Again for the exact same amount of the order. They AGAIN refused to acknowledge payment, because the receipt was 25 mins old! I informed them that the entire issue! We used their online payment system and paid for it 25 mins ago! We waited 20 mins, and had to inquire where our orders were! And now the food they just brought out was cold due to them interrogating me for 5 mins! They finally backed down and acknowledged payment but when I asked them to get me some fresh and hot food because mine was now cold they refused and said "what's wrong with the food on your plate!" At this point I had become extremely frustrated. It wasn't enough that we were accused of not paying, and then having two different forms of verification of payment, but now they were being down right vindictive and rude. I asked to speak to their manager. They disappeared. 5 mins later I went looking for them and saw the two waitresses huddled together with a third lady. When I inquired as to what the update was they literally put their hand in my face and said "SIR WE ARE HAVING A PRIVATE STAFF MEETING HERE!" At this point I let out a deep sigh and explained "I've paid for an order over 30 mins ago, using your system because you wouldn't accept us ordering in person. You didn't bring us the order after 20 mins of patiently waiting. We politely inquired and didn't complain. You brought out the order we already paid for, 25 mins ago..and then accussed us twice of not paying. Now, 35 mins later I have not eaten what I paid for,because I refused to eat cold food, and you made me wait 5 mins, and when I came to inquire about the progress you put your hands in my face and told me you're busy. You realise you are not just disrespecting me infront of my family, but are also costing me and them their time, on top of us all being hungry and having paid for something we never got. We didn't come here and pay to be treated like this" One of the waitressess now raised her voice at me so the entire restaurant could hear and shouted "sir dont disrespect me". She kept on repeating it over and over again when I then responded "you've done nothing but disrespect us in every way since we came in" I turned around, and left with my family of 7. Absolute worst experience I've ever had.

Myself and a couple of friends came here for dinner before watching a film in the Odeon next door. It was very busy for a Monday evening (busier than normal according to staff, even considering Summer Holidays). We managed to get seated after a few minutes wait. The food took a little longer due to the busyness but the manager (?) was amazing. He was so attentive and kept us informed on timings of food - he even gave us a 10 minute warning for when we’d want to leave to make the film :’) we didn’t get his name but thank you!

Here is the worst Nandos and management system is ridiculous. We had been waiting for a long time for order, probably system didnt work. You need to improve your order system. My little daughter waited for 45 minutes. Another thing is Dan, I think he is the manager he was so annoying for his responses. Almost he was blaming us for waiting.

Dan, I think he is the manager. Someone needs to teach him how to respond customer and how to apologize from customer. It was the worst experience Nandos for me.

Fantastic Nando’s, me and my friend had a couple of chicken wraps and the new red pepper starter, which was absolutely banging. Staff were phenomenal, Aleeta, Carlos, Lizette and Dan gave us a better customer experience than we could ever of asked for. It was also VERY reasonably priced. Extremely satisfied customer here.

Stay away. Staff is rude and not listening you. If you have a complaint, they are asking you to leave the restaurant. Kids got scared about staff's behaviour and guess what they don't care.

I’ve been to too many Nando’s restaurants throughout London , Nando’s Richmond is the best always, the staff are very professional and friendly and I want to mention in particular Micheal he is very helpful polite and friendly an example to anyone working in hospitality .

What a fabulous Nandos, I've eaten in many but this 1 was by far the best. Great service, friendly staff and beautiful food. We were on a tight time frame due to parking but needn't have worried the food was at our table in no time at all, was hot and delicious. . definitely be going back. Many thanks 😊

Busy atmosphere as it's quite a popular joint. The chicken thighs were delicious and juicy and the waiter was very attentive.

Nando’s need to look into this restaurant, there isn’t enough staff for the amount of tables that they keep allowing in. Staff are totally overwhelmed with tables and deliveries. 4x tables complained of no-show food to tables and items missing. We ordered sides that never arrived to our table, we tried to speak with staff about this but they were bombarded with so many other complaints they couldn’t deal with us so we ended up leaving. Staff possibly need better training, however I’m sure staff are possibly paid quite low so therefore have no incentive to manage table’s correctly. This is not an attack on staff, as they are all working hard and as fast as they can. The ones at the top need to manage their teams better. Stop with the greed Nando’s and fix this problem!!!

I have been here many times and it has been great, however this was the worst experience here I've ever had. We waited an hour just for only my friend's food to arrive (with coleslaw which she didn't order) and by the time mine came, she had completely finished and to add to it, mine arrived with both of the sides not what I had ordered so they had to take it back to swap them. It seemed a lot of other customers were getting impatient with the wait, as well as a crowd of delivery drivers waiting outside. It was all a mess and I don't know what has happened. On the plus side the food was great once it finally came, and the staff were apologetic.

I attended this branch for the first time yesterday as we were around Richmond. I ordered my usual, chicken thighs, rice & chips. Whilst digging into my food, and having a few spoons of the rice. I then felt something in my mouth that wasn’t breaking down whilst eating, I originally thought it might be one of those leafy herbs, but I took it out and found this green plastic wire like in my mouth from the rice. I was absolutely gutted never encountered such a thing from Nandos at any branch. The supervisor, Dan, was called who apologised for the inconvenience and explained the health and safety at this store. He offered to replace the food, which I agreed to but did not want the rice back on the plate. He then came over with a form that the store must fill out for incidents like this, and took my personal information explaining a thorough investigation would be put in place to identify what the product was that was in my food. I asked for a partial refund but kindly gave me a whole refund on my food. And offered desserts which I declined. Some people can really take it to the next level with these things and I’m just not one to do that, however, the kitchen staff must be extra cautious when opening product from packaging or any of the sort as these things can easily happen again. Not entirely sure what it was, but I probably was 2/3 spoons into the rice to then have to find that. I am waiting for a response from the Nando’s Customer Service Team in regards to this incident so I get better clarification of what was put in my food and steps that will be taken to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Came here a week ago and the customer service was really friendly and attentive. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and Jorge was extremely helpful and patient.

They're trying to cash in on Ted Lasso being filmed in Richmond, but it sort of fails. Not special enough to excite fans, but enough to confuse people that haven't seen the show. Why does my chicken have "believe"written on it! Anyway, food was nice and service good

We came it was as silent as a mouse then the staff sat us were we place are order ( chicken burgers and MANGO frozen yogurt) next are good took about 15 minutes which was ok but got weird look from the staff when are food came it was good but I took a walk to the yogurt mashing and found out it was STRAWBERRY not THE MANGO I Order and it was broken - I felt to skewed to ask for Water and a refund !!!

Awful service. The large portion of rice is just slightly bigger than the regular and double the price. We received the food and they had no forks at all. We had to wait until they washed. A restaurant with this size and popular should be ready for costumers and and having extra cutlery. when I asked to the guy who appears to be the manager he said that we are informed that the restaurant was washing the cutlery. But we were not. We had to wait with our food already on the table. Never coming back to this branch.

Food was not hot when first came out, cold for some reason. Was quickly resolved, in friendly manner,, and hot food was brought out.

The staff was not honest about the actual time to get a table. In fact they gave us a long time so we decided to order a take a way. As we waited for 20 minutes we noticed that the staff kept adding up the waiting time for a table. While in room some tables were available. The plant based burger was so delicious 😋.

I went there today a tuesday lunch time. The service was very slow and it was not even busy. I waited 30 minutes for my food. If i was on lunch break would of been a problem

Although the ordering process when several families ordered On a communal table left confusion with the wrong food arriving at the wrong person, overall the experience was positive The children loved the bottomless soda machines, the chicken was cooked well for once, and the vegetarian option worked well for the non-chicken-eaters I was surprised how few seats there were here but it seems that they coped ok It was perfect for a post cinema meal and I would recommend a stop here

Went here to celebrate my husbands birthday , our son and daughter in law came too . Had a nice meal , the staff were really nice . On leaving I hadn’t noticed a little jewellery box had fallen out of my bag under the table. I’ve just had a new knee replacement so was struggling to pick my bag up , I think it was the manager who ran out to ask me if I’d dropped the box under the table . I could not believe how lovely he was to run out after me. My late mum had left me her rings which were in the box . If I’d of lost them I would have cried for weeks. I can’t thank this manager enough , he was so amazing and proactive all night , making sure everyone was ok and that everyone had what they needed to enjoy their meals . I will definitely return . I had a delicious chicken butterfly with chips. The portions were generous, and food served when piping hot. The Sagres Larger tasted particularly great.

Nandos is always late whenever I order from deliveroo. I am always waiting for at least 40 minutes more. Sometimes 1 hour. This restaurant is always wasting my time.

The place was closed due to grill not working. No apologies and no signs and update that restaurant is closed.
