The outside seating is a nice touch. Food was decent. Service was ok, friendly staff. Ordering system wasn't explained. We ended up waiting for a long time with no waiter taking our order so went up to the counter to order. It's a small restaurant and as such is a little cramped. For Richmond it's pretty decent value.

Super busy restaurant with waiting hours around 30 minutes. We decided to take away at first but when we were waiting, a table became available and we were quickly seated. The food were amazing, and service was warm and quick. However, the tables were a bit too close to each other therfore the 4 stars.

Good food, with affordable price, very friendly service, and good location. They have kids menu. Chicken wings dish is a must try... There are 5 level of spicy : Plain, wild herb (recommended), medium, hot, extra hot. We need to take stairs to enter the restaurant. Toilets are upstairs.

I stopped eating the broccoli because it was severely undercooked and crunchy. my friend’s chicken was undercooked and the chef decided to bring back the same chicken and claim it wasn’t undercooked, even though it was red and wet. it seemed as though he wanted to show her up. a very weird atmosphere and a rude chef.

The main problem I had with eating here was it was dirty. We were there for an early lunch so it was quite empty however the tables and seating were dirty, which suggests that they had been left like that from the night before. The table we found which looked the cleanest had a hair on it which was off putting. There was debris behind the machine which dispenses water and ice. This is unacceptable for a business particularly one which is selling food.

Me and my girlfriend came here, she is gluten intolerant and it ended up taking around 10 minutes for the staff to even serve me as all i asked for were sweet potato fries i understand as allergies need to be checked although i gave the staff a specific instruction to bring all the food out together, they brought all the food out separately. The chicken was overdone and hard the fino pitta was obviously slung together and it was cold as was my girlfriends chicken which was also extremely rubbery snd difficult to cut overall the food took 30 minutes to come out. Not an enjoyable experience. and the tables we sat at outside had menus and napkins littered all over the floor. poor.

Nando’s atmosphere is the real deal however the chicken here was not as juicy as rest of the Nando’s ! I tried the one in Putney and it was top notch ! May be the chicken needs to be thawed well before they cook! ambience and atmosphere is good as always ! Staff was very polite and courteous!

Nandos Richmond is my favourite branch but last time the wating staff was not impressive. The waitress who attended us didn't have good information about seat availability neither did she seem to care much about it. Also, when I ordered a drink from the new summer menu, she just handed us empty glasses (those drinks are not available on the tap)

As regular at various Nando's in london over the years, this has to rank the worst ever! We arrived at just before 20:00hrs but due to our order of 9 people ' disappearing ' which l suspect was shown as delivery instead but why did the waitress not think that table has not had any food on the table for a good hour!! Terrible service and poor communication between staff and kitchen....make matters worse some of the food we ordered were unavailable despite paying.....let's just say l was too hungry and angry to seek another venue but never again. And yes spoke to the manager who was equally dismissive and just wanted to get rid....l advice you to check every five minutes after placing your order incase it's been ' delivered' instead. Maybe they are too busy with delivery orders and taken their eye off the customer actually sat on a table

We waited an hour for our food and could see some of it under the heat lamps for about half an hour, then asked the waitress where it was and turns out they had forgotten about it and we were just told it’ll be out soon. Waited ten mins and it came out and the staff didn’t seem to care that we’d been waiting over an hour for our food, which was stale and half cold when we got it. I’m not very confrontational so I felt bad just asking where it was. We thought maybe they’d apologise or give us something after but as soon as we were given the food they just ignored us. Very disappointed as this was a waste of a lovely evening.

Good food and friendly staff. It's quite a small Nandos, so be prepared to wait if you go at a busy time. Would have been great if the aircon was on as it was very warm in the restaurant when we went last week on a hot day. The toilets could also do with more regular cleaning - the ladies toilet wasn't the cleanest/most inviting

I went to nando’s on a Friday evening with my family of 4 , and was approached by Ollie who immediately welcomed us and the kids with a big smile. I was seated quickly by Ollie and was told how to order and that if anything was need you could ask him.Food came rapidly and was perfection - my compliments to the chefs - and I will definitely coming back for the great costumer service and the fantastic food.

What a let down of a Nando’s. We went there on a Friday evening around 8pm. Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Then got told they had no chicken left, which considering they are a chicken restaurant is a big issue! We then got told they had thighs; ordered 4 and they were no bigger than a 5cm x 5cm piece. They didn’t have the drinks we ordered and had to get a refund! All in all a very poor experience.

I recently visited Nando's in Richmond and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with their customer service. Upon arrival, I was informed by the manager, Jorge, that the restaurant needed 30 minutes to recover service. Despite expressing my willingness to wait, Jorge abruptly denied my request, stating that I could not wait. What made the situation even more perplexing was the fact that there were approximately 15 empty tables in the restaurant at the time. This inconsistency between the manager's explanation and the available seating suggests a significant lapse in communication and customer service standards. Adding to the discomfort, it was freezing cold outside and slightly raining, making the refusal to accommodate waiting customers even more frustrating. Overall, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and flexibility exhibited by the management at Nando's. Such instances of poor customer service can greatly impact a restaurant's reputation and deter future patronage. I hope that the management takes steps to address these issues and improve the overall customer experience at Nando's in Richmond.

I love a Nando's, my wife loves a Nando's, it seemed a safe bet and we were able to get seated fairly quickly. We ordered via the app, which was quite convenient although there was quite a wait for the glasses to arrive, then the starters and a seemingly fairly long wait for the food. It also transpired there was no cutlery left. upon asking one of the staff he managed to source a couple of forks and a knife so we had a set each. It was somewhat maddening that they didn't think to top up the rest of the cutlery instead meaning that once people spotted we had cutlery they all then asked. By the time we had finished our meal the cutlery was still not topped up! The other reason for marking down was the state of the toilets, it was a bit of a warzone in the gents and my wife said the ladies were just as bad. I'd give the benefit of the doubt and assume they may have been short staffed?

Needed a table for 3, slight wait of 20 minutes, which I was informed about up front. Lovely hostess who on noticing I had a sore throat gave me a glass of water, really kind of her. Friends arrived and we were shown to the table. Used the app to order which us simple and straightforward. They had run out of corn so we were asked to choose an alternative, this was accomplished without fuss. Food arrived, hot and exactly as asked for. Service was swift, polite and didn't disturb our evening. Food we ordered was delicious and drinks were chilled.

Terrible experience ordering. My order never arrived and was marked as ‘delivered’ when I had not received the order. No delivery driver was around my place and no one knocked at my door. Seems like Nando's doesn’t mind having their delivery drivers having free food and stealing customers orders. Nando’s didn’t do anything about it. I really needed that food.

Our visit to Nando’s was deeply unsatisfactory, marked by prolonged wait times, below-average customer service, and the unfortunate serving of cold and stale food. After returning our initial order, we endured another extended wait, only to receive the same subpar meal, with both the chips and chicken still cold. Frustrated, we requested a refund. The best Nando's experience to date. The staff were the most attentive yet. The app wouldn't let me pay for my meal, approved in my banking app then fidnt go through. Not a problem, as card went straight through at the till. The food was cooked yo perfection andxthe service felt individualised. We felt special. Fantastic.

Extremely unprofessional staff. We ordered and paid using their barcode online system. 20 mins later we inquired where the order was. 5 mins later they brought it out and asked me to pay, again. I I informed them I had already paid using their online system. They accessed me of lying!! I showed them an SMS from my credit card company for the exact value of the order they had just brought out. Again, they refused to accept this as proof! So I showed them a Nando email receipt. Again for the exact same amount of the order. They AGAIN refused to acknowledge payment, because the receipt was 25 mins old! I informed them that the entire issue! We used their online payment system and paid for it 25 mins ago! We waited 20 mins, and had to inquire where our orders were! And now the food they just brought out was cold due to them interrogating me for 5 mins! They finally backed down and acknowledged payment but when I asked them to get me some fresh and hot food because mine was now cold they refused and said "what's wrong with the food on your plate!" At this point I had become extremely frustrated. It wasn't enough that we were accused of not paying, and then having two different forms of verification of payment, but now they were being down right vindictive and rude. I asked to speak to their manager. They disappeared. 5 mins later I went looking for them and saw the two waitresses huddled together with a third lady. When I inquired as to what the update was they literally put their hand in my face and said "SIR WE ARE HAVING A PRIVATE STAFF MEETING HERE!" At this point I let out a deep sigh and explained "I've paid for an order over 30 mins ago, using your system because you wouldn't accept us ordering in person. You didn't bring us the order after 20 mins of patiently waiting. We politely inquired and didn't complain. You brought out the order we already paid for, 25 mins ago..and then accussed us twice of not paying. Now, 35 mins later I have not eaten what I paid for,because I refused to eat cold food, and you made me wait 5 mins, and when I came to inquire about the progress you put your hands in my face and told me you're busy. You realise you are not just disrespecting me infront of my family, but are also costing me and them their time, on top of us all being hungry and having paid for something we never got. We didn't come here and pay to be treated like this" One of the waitressess now raised her voice at me so the entire restaurant could hear and shouted "sir dont disrespect me". She kept on repeating it over and over again when I then responded "you've done nothing but disrespect us in every way since we came in" I turned around, and left with my family of 7. Absolute worst experience I've ever had.

Myself and a couple of friends came here for dinner before watching a film in the Odeon next door. It was very busy for a Monday evening (busier than normal according to staff, even considering Summer Holidays). We managed to get seated after a few minutes wait. The food took a little longer due to the busyness but the manager (?) was amazing. He was so attentive and kept us informed on timings of food - he even gave us a 10 minute warning for when we’d want to leave to make the film :’) we didn’t get his name but thank you!

Here is the worst Nandos and management system is ridiculous. We had been waiting for a long time for order, probably system didnt work. You need to improve your order system. My little daughter waited for 45 minutes. Another thing is Dan, I think he is the manager he was so annoying for his responses. Almost he was blaming us for waiting.

Fantastic Nando’s, me and my friend had a couple of chicken wraps and the new red pepper starter, which was absolutely banging. What a fabulous Nandos, I've eaten in many but this 1 was by far the best. Great service, friendly staff and beautiful food. We were on a tight time frame due to parking but needn't have worried the food was at our table in no time at all, was hot and delicious. . definitely be going back. Many thanks 😊

Nando’s need to look into this restaurant, there isn’t enough staff for the amount of tables that they keep allowing in. Staff are totally overwhelmed with tables and deliveries. 4x tables complained of no-show food to tables and items missing. We ordered sides that never arrived to our table, we tried to speak with staff about this but they were bombarded with so many other complaints they couldn’t deal with us so we ended up leaving. Staff possibly need better training, however I’m sure staff are possibly paid quite low so therefore have no incentive to manage table’s correctly. This is not an attack on staff, as they are all working hard and as fast as they can. The ones at the top need to manage their teams better. Stop with the greed Nando’s and fix this problem!!!

I have been here many times and it has been great, however this was the worst experience here I've ever had. We waited an hour just for only my friend's food to arrive (with coleslaw which she didn't order) and by the time mine came, she had completely finished and to add to it, mine arrived with both of the sides not what I had ordered so they had to take it back to swap them. It seemed a lot of other customers were getting impatient with the wait, as well as a crowd of delivery drivers waiting outside. It was all a mess and I don't know what has happened. On the plus side the food was great once it finally came, and the staff were apologetic.

The best Nandos around. Food is what you would expect from nandos restaurant but the service and the restaurant itself are great. Always happy to return. Prefer this one over Richmond or Kingston.

Have loved this place - takeaway Kebab always well cooked, flavoursome and hot. But tonight for the first time I was charged extra for salad which was tiny in portion size and half comprised of onion. I know costs are rising but this just not good. If you have to charge for salad please make it balanced and decent in size, or better still scrap this idea.
