Absolutely delicious starter and main, enjoyed en famille in one of the huts in the super pub garden.

Wow! What an amazing pub. I would definitely consider it a destination pub for any occasion. Whether it be a tasty meal or Sunday roast (vegan options are plenty), a drink in the garden (their garden is MASSIVE) or to be involved in a community event (they have loads on), there’s plenty of reasons to visit the pub. The managers (will & lisa) & the team are so friendly and accommodating, you will feel incredibly well looked after in this pub.

Just want to say a huge thank you to Lisa, Will and Emma and the entire team at the Hare & Hounds. Your pub really is the hub of the East Sheen community and we’re super grateful to you being such a vital part of the Sheen Art Trail and for hosting our event the Sheen Art Fair. What a fabulous day. So many people came to the Hare & Hounds to see the art on display at this truly wonderful community event. There was a huge footfall and the preplanned good weather emant that many going to the pub wandered round and looked at the art work. Separately, I had the most delicious mushroom/yoghurt/toast dish. Shall defo have that again.

The Hare and Hounds pub, in the heart of East Sheen hosted the Sheen Artists Art fair and it proved to be a fantastic day out. The Hare and Hounds garden was the perfect place for the Sheen community to come together to eat, drink and view some amazing artwork. There was a fantastic atmosphere and I really hope this will become an annual event to look forward to.

I love this pub! Lisa, Will and the team are so friendly and go the extra mile every time. The garden is fantastic. The events which are held here help residents to discover what was Sheen's best hidden secret. Its fabulous for a family meal to large groups. We are lucky to have it on our doorstep.

Pub with a very large garden - perfect for a sunny pub lunch! We got fried fish to start, the fish and chips, and the burger. Our favorite was definitely the starter. The fish and chips was massive. The burger was just okay.

Hare & Hounds is always a hit - we have had multiple events, birthdays and celebrations here and it's always amazing! The team is SUPER accommodating to children & their needs - the garden is beautiful (even more so in summer) and the staff are just amazing!

Visita la Liebre al menos una vez a la semana con familiares o amigos. Siempre una fabulosa bienvenida amable, ya sea de día o de noche. Personal encantador, en particular Amy que siempre es sonriente y encantadora Lisa. Nunca te hacen esperar en el bar por muy ocupados que estén y el lugar está impecable. El mejor jardín de cerveza en Sheen también no puede esperar al verano.

Since Lisa and Will took over the pub has gone from strength to strength - the staff are so welcoming and attentive. The food is also delicious - make sure you come hungry as the servings are generous! Such a nice atmosphere here and the garden is fantastic in the warmer months.

My wife, step son and I had food in the pub last Tuesday. The duck was tough and chewy, the mushrooms on focaccia was initial cold and sent back was then only average and the burger, I had seemed ok until arriving home when the toilet was desperately required! Shall’t be going back anytime soon.

Great Sunday Lunch at the Hare & Hounds, which I really recommend. My only small criticism is that the drinks menu doesn't wholly apply to this pub. Some sparkling wines are available by the glass on the menu but you can't order by the glass. A bit misleading, maybe.

It's always an amazing atmosphere at the Hare & Hounds. It's also a great place to run into people you haven't seen for awhile. Lisa and the team make it very easy to relax and catch up with people over a few drinks and a bowl of chips. My friends ordered pies and I was so pleased to see that they were proper pies not just a pastry lid. Keep up the good work team H & H. You are a credit to East Sheen.

The pub has a lovely warm friendly atmosphere & the staff are always very helpful. A delicious selection of food on the menu and a great selection of beer and wine. We have had our office Xmas party here with a selection of great bar snacks in the snug, Roast dinner with the family in the restaurant and drinks in the garden. Whether you’re here with friends, family or work colleagues it’s the place to go in Sheen!

I recently visited The Hare and Hounds for a Wellbeing Fair, the place is beautiful, the staff can not do enough for you. I found the garden lovely to sit in and the atmoshpere was happy but relaxed. I recommend this place for sure.

It’s not often you go into a pub these days and be so wonderfully hosted. We exhibited at their first Winter Wellness event which was an absolute delight. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Had some really delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend this great little pub on Sheen high st.

I absolutely love the Hare and Hounds in East Sheen. It is beautiful and comfortable home from home in the community. The staff are divine. Kind and thoughtful. The food and drink are great. I cant live without the fish finger sandwich.I bring friends with me to have it and the love it ,too. We are so luck to have this perfect pub in our neighborhood. I feel cared for the moment I enter the door. I great place, inside and out, with the most marvelous garden .

I have been going to this pub for over 10 years. It is a cozy atmosphere and always delivers great food. The staff is always lovely, and the outdoor space if wonderful. They are always hosting amazing events for the community as well!

A very quiet restaurant, the setting is very pleasant, everything is perfect, the food excellent and the staff very attentive to the needs of its customers. Honestly, I recommend it and I will return there regularly.

Encantador gran pub y jardín amable personal servicial, pero no visite en NYE lo que una decepción, la música se puso baja, ni siquiera la televisión encendida para la cuenta regresiva o fuegos artificiales de Londres, sin ambiente, sin baile, tuvo que mirar su móvil para la hora a medianoche, ya que nadie estaba diciendo nada, está bien si quieres una bebida tranquila, pero ni siquiera viejo letrero tocó, y ningún personal dijo nada, todo el mundo caminaba como si fuera una noche normal. Luego el pub cerró a las 12. 30 . Nunca visitaría en NYE.

Soy un cliente habitual y he estado visitando aquí durante años, llegué para una comida para dos y se quejó de ver dos ratones corriendo por la zona del restaurante. El Gerente llegó y dijo que estaba al tanto del tema y que era un tema continuo, no había disculpas ni aceptación esto era inaceptable. Básicamente come y vete a casa.

El almuerzo del día de Navidad era absolutamente delicioso y perfectamente cocinado. El pub estaba ocupado (como era de esperar) pero no abrumador por lo que se sumó al ambiente. Todo el personal era muy servicial y amable

Mi única crítica sería que el servicio era lento. Éramos un grupo grande, pero habíamos pre-ordenado nuestras elecciones de comida y tuvimos que preguntar un par de veces en cuanto a cuándo llegaría la comida. Aparte de eso, un buen almuerzo fue hecho por todos.

Loved it here, great menu, lovely setting. Only concerning thing was a number of dirty side plates and glasses brought out to us and it was on a quiet afternoon sitting.

Perfect for a family Sunday lunch with dogs included! The food was superb and the staff are attentive, friendly and couldn’t do more to help even on a busy Sunday. It’s a lovely atmosphere and the big garden means there’s space for younger kids to get up and wander around if they get bored at the table. Highly recommend.

Always a pleasure to be at the Hare & Hound, buzzing any time of the year with good vibes. Watching the margarita being properly made added to the tasting experience. Dogs are welcome and very calm. Pub dogs?! :-) Dynamic fall program with original fancy dress charity sale. Friendly team eager to help and serve.

Very rudely greeted by the bar staff (grumpy old man) at 7pm today (Friday). I was told I couldn’t eat if I had a child with me. Meanwhile there were many families seated. I’ve been to this place a few times with my children and enjoyed the food but will never go again after the poor treatment. There are other establishments with good food and better customer service in the area. No need to go back.

Me decidí por la hamburguesa, pero la encontré demasiado cocida y seca, no estoy seguro de cómo puedes equivocarte tanto. El personal parecía estar teniendo un desacuerdo "doméstico", por lo general mejor ubicado, no al alcance de los clientes. Nos encanta el jardín y somos habituales a pesar de este desafortunado incidente.

I’ve been coming here for the first time during summer as a regular as I’ve had a lot of domestic repairs going on in my place. I have loved the garden nooks and crannies and inside quieter spots. What I am pleasantly surprised about is the feel of Home from home. The staff deserve a special mention as they are particularly kind and helpful, always taking a minute to chat, which takes me out of my cluttered headspace into the work that I have to get done. I have sorted out my life quite literally in your pub. 🤩 A special thank you to all the summer staff who made it lots of fun and sociable! Good times !

Hemos visitado su pub en numerosas ocasiones. Probablemente nuestro pub favorito. Sin embargo, esta vez fue diferente. Han abierto una cocina exterior que tiene su propio menú. Para ser honesto, luchamos para reducirlo a un plato cada uno. Decidimos compartir un entrante de paté de caballa, una hamburguesa de filete con costillas cortas y una hamburguesa de pollo a la parrilla con pesto cohete. Absolutamente impresionante. Tan bueno que tuve que ir a la cocina exterior a preguntar quién hizo nuestra comida. Un agradecimiento especial a Carlos, un excelente y talentoso chef. Las cebollas crujientes activan todo. Volveré muy pronto.

Wish the pod smelled more of vape, the server was very annoyed at the smell of smoke but it should have been more of vape and I couldn’t agree more

Always love the garden - so peaceful, best and biggest one in the area. Also service was friendly, efficient, capable and very good - as usual. Even the weather was perfect, nice balmy summer evening. Menu interesting and varied, catering for all tastes. Drinks great, food generally very good - extremely generous fish and chips, delicious crispy batter and chips. Extra sauces on the side too. But my grilled artichoke and (deep fried) polenta was all a bit oily - the basil dressing seemed to be all oil. Next time I'd ask for the dressing on the side, to add as required. No wonder the calorie count was >700! Altogether a great evening and we'll be back soon, a short walk from home and an excellent experience.

Fab pub with the most amazing garden. Took friends from California who have impeccably high standards and they said if they lived here they’d be be here atleast once a week. We were so looked after and the food was delicious.

Warm beer at £7 a pint in 30 degree heat. No need for further explanation. Chill your beer’s properly. This pub is well known to skimp on paying to chill the beers and serve pints that are well under the 568.

Lovely staff and nice big garden. They should do a lunch menu with sandwiches/ salads etc as we found the options limited for a weekday lunchtime.

Very nice and friendly place with a lovely backyard for nice outdoor seating. Keep in mind that arriving planes will be flying overhead every few minutes. The food was alright, we had the ribs which were alright but not really amazing.

Had a really great night at the Hare for the Euros final (shame about the result!) They really pushed the boat out, the service was flawless and they made sure everyone had a great view. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and made it all look effortless. Well done!

We went there for the first time to watch Euro Cup 2024. After ordering mains, we have been told to leave by 19.30 due to having kids younger her than 18YO. Why they would not tell this while making a reservation till 22.00 or once we arrive? I felt like kicked out after ordering the mains..

Watched the football match outside, they have a great outdoors space. Had the Sunday roast, which was pretty good. Friendly staff.

Unique experience as our visit was a party/wake to remember a special cousin and wonderful mum . Scotch eggs and fish in breadcrumbs amongst many good things laid on. Staff courteous and welcoming. Will return - the garden looked very inviting.

Worst experience we have ever had in a pub. Worst service. 45’ for a burger. We asked for no onions in one of the dishes and there were onions. I asked to drinks to be brought fresh with food. They brought drinks and the food was 30’ apart. Burgers were dry and poor quality, buns were also bad. No taste into the beef on the roast. The only decent meal was the chicken.

Just had a wonderful lunch at the Hare & Hounds. I had a delicious artichoke salad and my husband had a fabulous burger. Atmosphere and service were super friendly. We will be coming back for more - so lucky to have this pub in East Sheen.

We had a 40th birthday get together outside on the decking area. The staff were fantastic- attentive and friendly. We bought some sharing platters, which arrived on time and were delicious. Couldn’t fault the day and will be back again soon!

Paul was fantastic in accommodating us even though we’d not booked and created a world of chaos.

Superb dinner. Had a late shift and couldn’t face cooking at home. Decided to try out the food and was left with a very full tummy and fat smile on my face! Husband’s steak was medium rare to perfection, my burger had everything I could have wanted and more! I chose to add bacon AND an egg to my burger, brilliant choice. Recommend it to everyone! The Guinness is well kept and delicious, my Estrella is yummy. Definitely recommend to all. Josey and Jackson made our evening even more enjoyable. Thank you for a fab night guys.

Beautiful big garden in the back. Very friendly staff. The long blonde hair girl that served us was amazing. Food came quick and was delicious.

It is a great place but I was disappointed by the experience. It was my turn to be served but one of the male bartenders kept going away to serve other customers who were miles away. He is the tallest among the staff. One lovely lady noticed his action and came over and rescued me. I appreciate her service. This is my second visit and I observed her super service on my first visit too. Thank you! On my first visit, I noticed some acts of immaturity from another male staff too. Trust me I am not paranoid, but he mockingly danced behind me to impress a group of girls while I was leaving the pub. My impression from today is that this gentleman is a team leader or a manager. I can only assure you that I am human and look human.

Pricey but the service and food is top notch. I keep coming back 😆
