I just left the place…I’ve had many lamb diners in my life….this has to be the best I’ve ever had…salad fresh,meat so soft and juicy…chips cooked just perfect…10 out of 10…and very reasonable and fair price…nice smiley people

Friendly and welcoming team at Istanbul. We have been ordering from there for just under a year and it has been a 5/5 experience every time. Food is wonderful and would really recommend Istanbul Barbecue if you have not yet tried them.

The lady is lovely and very sweet. The portion sizes are great and the food is delicious.

The only time I have a kebab is from here at lunchtime. Great value for a large meal deal. You won't be disappointed if you go in here.

£11.60 for a 11cm kebab which is called 'Medium' on a menu. No rice or chips included, neither a fork lol Pita is dry and hard. I took a 500ml of Fanta on a side and total it came to a £15.95 for this? Is this is a joke ? I will be visiting your shop and leave u reviews until ur rating will reach the kerbside.

I was served a kebab from a Bain Marie it looked way past its best. The kebab on the spit looked as though it had been there for hours, and based on the congealed drips of fat on it, it was beyond reprieve. I took the kebab home and ate a few bit's then threw the rest away because it tasted so bad. Less than an hour later, I started being sick, and I spent the night in close proximity to the toilet.

A very nice meal with fresh salad and lovely chilli sauce. Down sides, ordered white wine, but received red which they promptly replaced. Ordered onion rings, but they didn't arrive.

Had the Family special. Was amazing quality and quantity. Highly recommend.

This is the best kebab shop! Always such friendly reception! I love the lamb shish kebab- it’s such good quality! Great portion size! I’ve never been disappointed and get takeaway from here regularly.

Great food, lovely staff & very accommodating. Iordered a chicken donor kebab & nuggets to take away. As soon as I left the box was torn & the food in the bag. I literally walked back & they made a new one & i sat down and ate as was very hungry. Lady was very helpful amongst staff. Thank you.

Freshly prepared food when ordered,a great selection of kebabs,burgers,falafel's and salads. The owner is a very personable guy.

Plenty of seating for dine in, its also licenced so wine and beer available.

These guys fixed a problem caused by just eat having no drivers. They remade the food, called me and one of their own people made the delivery. First class food and a gift of Turkish delight foe something that wasn't even their fault. I won't eat from any other kebab restaurant in London. Many thanks Istanbul

First time here and I am very pleased. We ordered a large chicken doner and a large mixed doner and a large portion of chips. Both kebabs were served with a load of salad. Food was very nice, the place was clean and the lady serving was very friendly.

Super tasty food - we ate in as a family and had shish chicken, lamb shish and chicken doner. Everything was delicious (we also had the saksuka to start which was amazing!), presented well and the staff were fantastic. It was very busy with a constant stream of people coming to collect take outs. We'll be back!

I ‘ve been comin and having amazingly excellent meals from İstanbul Barbecue since 5-6 of years on high street Teddington. Recently I had wonderfull kebaps that made be go there consecutively for couple of days. I would strongly recomand to everyone who wants to have a quick good quality kebabs. They re doing it delicous, they are doing a great job. Staffs re alsoo really friendly.

The food in this Kebab shop is disgusting. I've ordered on two separate occasions and both times I ended up with Diarrhoea. That'll teach me to give second chances!! I ate only a quarter of the food. I ordered Donner meat, cheesey chips and some Lamb Shish meat. The Donner had a layer of white lard like substance over it and tasted stale and old. The Lamb Shish meat had zero flavouring and was chewy, gristly and hard to bite into. The cheesey chips were ok. I really wish the local area would give this Kebab shop some competition. I'm sure people only go there because it's the only Kebab shop within walking distance in the area. I also believe this Kebab shop needs a food hygiene inspection and I will be contacting the relevant people regarding this.

Ordered donner meat and chips x 2, the guy serving completely got it wrong the order cost me more, chips where very well done, kebab meat was dry and the chilli sauce too dry, so disappointed 😞

I haven't been here for years but it's no surprise that this place is still running well because the food is excellent and the staff are friendly. £8 for medium chicken donner: I'm not a small guy and I couldn't finish it. Comes with delicious fresh salad, warm flat breads, fresh chili sauce. Lucky my partner arrived to finish it off. Bravo, boys!

Ordered a xl kebab wrap got a medium kebab in pita bread and kebab was extremely unde cooked will never use again

I have been ordering the house special kebap since the pandemic started and the count of orders already exceeded twenty. We received tasty treatment of mix kebaps each time. Thank you guys; you don't disapppoint!

Well, today I went with my colleague to have lunch there and the service wasn't great. I had to ask for bread three times before it gets served so I can eat my meal which is not a big issue. The shocker was when we were going out and the restaurant staff started asking me if I paid for my meal. I said yes, then he asked me again and I answered yes (thought he just didn't hear me the first time) and then asked me for the third time if I paid and I said Yes and moved out thinking that guy is just being doubly sure that we paid. When crossing the street to the other side, we were faced with the till guy blocking our way and asking whether we paid for the meal. I was like, Are You Serious and he Said yes Im very serious and added that his colleague was checking the cameras. I told him fine, and then I showed him the payment on my G Pay and my colleague had to log on to his online banking and showed him that too then he left us. Can I add that the restaurant wasn't busy, and it is normally customers pay for their meal before they sat and eat it. Just be careful with this shop. He either was too bad at his job or tried to rip us off by paying again if we didn't have a prove of payment. Really bad service from Start to End. Im making sure my colleague adds his review too. It’s the first time in my life that I have been asked if I paid for my meal. Last time going there for sure and will make sure all my company won’t go there. Enjoy!!!

Absolutely delicious food. Always tastes so fresh especially as its cooked on charcoal. Highly recommend the kofta and the wings.

Luke warm on arrival even though paid the extra £1.50 for fast delivery asked for a plain burger for a dairy intolerant child it came with cheese so he could not eat it called the store bring it back then was the reply? Terrible attitude Also diner meat tasteless ordered chilli sauce but it came smothered in mayonnaise Shsh chicken was ok just warm and the chips were like cardboard Will not be using or recommending this shop Ps this is the third time they had messed up an order The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced

I'll happily drive to get a kebab from here. Service is good. Food is great. Chicken shish and doner kebab would be a good choice if you are not sure what to have. Portion sizes are generous.

3.5 stars. This was my first visit. Friendly and quick takeaway service, Fried aubergine starter absolutely delicious. Kofteh was tasty,, chicken shish and chicken wings were ok, maybe all could've been better eating in restaurant than takeaway and slightly cold. I've had better Turkish kebabs but this isn't a bad option in my local area.

I've had a lot of kebabs in my time but this place is by far one of the best I've ever been to. The lamb shish and chicken shish is up there with the best I've ever had. Outstanding.

Disappointed. The quality of food was below average. Service was friendly and welcoming, but the food on the other hand, not so inviting. Kofte tasted dry and had a strange rubbery texture - left an unpleasant taste. Chicken donner was ok. Won’t be rushing back there any time soon.

Been here before and loved it. Went this evening had to wait for out collection and it was 15 minutes longer than it said it would be. We then collected it drove 5 minutes round the corner to get the food back and it was cold. Wasn't very impressed unfortunately. Not sure if I would return again.

What a Turkish delight. Meat, meat, meat, nice pitta made soggy with sauce and fresh salad. The whole operation is open plan, clean and visible. Quick takeaways or sit down and get your meat sweats on. It's a bit pricier than other kebab shops hence the 4 stars but the quality is also superior. Will be going again for sure. Ps I didnt take photos and #upload to my SM account for lolz, like really, super wow yeah because I'm not a c$%t. So just go there and get your own photos or just enjoy the food and stop begging for attention, ya get me.

Always enjoy what I order, however find the service lacking- like I am an inconvenience. It is a shame really as it is off putting.

Four of us called in here to eat inside, ordered chicken shish kebab, it came, 5 small pieces luke warm chicken & salad came on a plate, wish I’d taken photo. Another ordered lamb shish with onions and tomatoes, no tomatoes, 5 cold pieces lamb, another ordered mixed kebab, came cold, and last ordered Donner Kebab with no salad just onions, came with onions, tomatoes and again only warm. None had pita bread, had to ask, staff not friendly and quite abrupt. Being from Yorkshire we’re used to good old fashioned friendliness and good food. Can only say I’m glad it’s not my local takeaway! Would I go again next time in teddington? DEFINITELY NOT!!!! Charged an extra 60p each for eating that pittance inside too!

Let’s keep it short and simple.i ordered a lot from this place and will do many times again. The meat is so good,and not greasy at all. The way they wrapped the sandwich was very carefully done and with care. The portions were very good. No complaints at all.

Visited the restaurant when I was in Teddington for work. The food was lovely and staff were very friendly.

As we visited due to a loss in the family and not for pleasure, we had a very limited budget, we had a look online but it was difficult to find reasonably priced establishments in Teddington. We decided to have a walk and look with 2 kiddies in tow. We had a look at the prices on a few places we passed and many were twice the price at 19.30 than before 19.00. It was crazy. We saw the Istanbul Barbecue and thought we'd take the food back to the Travelodge, until we saw they had seating. Wonderful, it wasn't anymore expensive eating in as take away and the very nice lady even brought our food to the table. I had a delicious Turkish lager with mine and it was lovely. The food was delicious and since there have been no dodgy tummies, we know it was all cooked beautifully. The chilli sauce was great, full of flavour with just enough heat to enhance the food and not over power it! We had 3 adult meals, a child's meal and the 3 drinks for £27. Brilliant, it would have cost us over £50 to eat anywhere else. Overall, highly recommended.

lovely place To visit for some grilled food, also have vegetarian platters and options which make an excellent meal for a family with different types of tastes! Music IS great also, and the staff are friendly and excellent service. Will come again, they serve lovely Turkish tea and coffee for after or beforehand a meal, complementing the visit we’ll :)

You must try the food here. Excellent Doner's available here. The staff is also very friendly. If you like some spicy sauce. Please ask. You will get a good treat. :) Have fun and enjoy some great turkish food.

Went for Turkish food. Totally ripped off for very average food. Seriously if you fancy Turkish food go a few extra miles to Kingston. Very disappointed.

I bought food here on a weeknight. I had a chicken shish wrap and chips. The wrap came with lots of salad, nice chunks of chicken and not that much sauce. It was tasty, and a much healthier option than I'd dared hope for. The chips were french fries, and were fine. The staff were friendly and efficient. I'd be happy to return.

Want an amazing platter this is the place. 4 if us and 2 platters, a dream come true for carnivores. Nice guys and very reasonable.

Oredered food from them for delivery on a quiet sunday night via uber eats.For what you get food is very expensive and not very good.The order was botched and when asked to fixed it or at least for an explanation the owners washed their hands of it saying it wasn't their problem slamming down the phone after being very rude.Food itself is nothing special.Its basic cooking so ingredients should be 1st quality. This is not the case.Chicken was dry and tasteless, donner all stuff overcooked chunks and fries as a side super mushy.Let's not even start with burgers cause they make look McDonald a starred restaurant.In a street where there is a lot of choice go somewhere else.
