Nando's in Richmond upon Thames

The best Nandos around. Food is what you would expect from nandos restaurant but the service and the restaurant itself are great. Always happy to return. Prefer this one over Richmond or Kingston.

We regularly eat here with our granddaughter for a lunchtime treat. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant and facilities are clean and well ordered. Of course the reason we come here is we love Nando's chicken and chips.

It's such a lovely atmosphere in there. The staff makes you feel very welcome with "nothing is too much" attitude.

Had a wonderful experience. Sanjay was very helpful and attentive. He served us with a big smile making the experience 10 times better.

Me and my partner visited Nando’s Teddington last night to order take away. The staff was absolutely lovely and particularly Jaden, he was happy to help kind and smiley with welcoming attitude. Definitely will be back

Last night, my girlfriend, her cousin & I decided to go to Nando's for a late meal around 9 PM. When we walked in, the place was nearly empty, with only 2 or 3 other customers, but the state of the restaurant was shocking. Every single table was covered with dirty plates, glasses, and leftover food from previous customers, and none of them had been cleaned. After finally getting a table cleaned, we placed our orders together, hoping to eat at the same time. Unfortunately, my girlfriend’s cousin’s meal arrived within 10 minutes, even before her starter. We had to ask them to reheat it since we wanted to eat together, but we still ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes for the rest of the food. When I went to grab cutlery and an extra plate, I noticed the plate was so greasy it was unacceptable, so I had to replace it immediately. They were also out of straws and salt, and to top it off, the food was terrible. The chicken wings were undercooked, being pink and the mashed potato tasted nothing like the usual Nando's quality. After we finished eating, we noticed two staff members leaning over booth seats, pointing their phone lights at the floor. We overheard their conversation and realized there were mice in the restaurant. When I looked over, I saw another staff member setting mouse traps at the other end of the booth, which was absolutely disgusting, especially with people eating nearby. I will never go back to that Nando’s. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were polite, but overall, the experience was terrible.

Good food and right in the centre of town

I like Nandos , and they have delicious chicken, but this time I must say my dish was quite salty. Definitely the cook 👨‍🍳 needs to be more careful .

It is amazing how often this place gets 5 stars and deserves every one of them. The food is ALWAYS good, the service impeccable and the atmosphere just right. This is our go to easy diner. One of the things that always stands out is that everyone is trying to provide the best possible experience. My recommendations are Sxollie cider and the new chicken wrap. Open it as up and douse it with sauce.

Horrible service been coming here with my family for many years and have never been refused service. This time we got turned away with the excuse of they do not take eat in customers after 9:30, and we had arrived before it was 9:30. The manager very rudely refused us to seat and walked off without finishing the conversation her name was iwona. Honestly ruined the family night.

Off day I'm guessing. Some of the food arrived cold so we requested it came fresh. The fresh replacement came a good while later. It seemed as if we were forgotten about. Not a great experience this time.

The staff are over- whelmed by take-away orders. It’s frustrating to see a bee-line of takeaway customers being served while you wait long for food to arrive

Visited Nando’s today with a few of the lads from work and on arrival the customer care was greatly received by a worker by the name of Naomi. She was very helpful and took time out for 1 of my friends to understand the menu. Food arrived freshly cooked and tasted great 😊 Naomi had a great presence at work and made our stay at Nando’s great. Highly recommend even if just to see the great customer service you receive

Mary was our server and she did serve! She always checked in on us and made sure we had an amazing time! Food was brilliant and everything was very speedy.

Id recently been divorced by my wife of 26 years, happily married so I thought, the blow has been an indescribable disaster for me. My life took a dark turn preferring solitude and the blackness of the night. I feared that I would perhaps never again feel the warmth of happiness within me, like a disease the glum reality of my now lonely life took hold of me. On one of my dull, glum evening walks I passed a warming glow, what could it be? A smile? His name was Connor and the glow was the saving grace of nandos. My eyes filled with tears as he invited me in with a warming smile and sat me at a table with old friends whom I believed had forgotten me, so caught up in my own sadness I hadn't thought to reach out to those who have stood by my side since my youth. Thank you Connor for being so kind and welcoming, if I wasn't for you I probably would have laid siege to the city and destroyed the sun in an attempt to bring the rest of humanity down to my pathetic level! But now! Filled with fantastically cooked chicken and the joys of good company life is now finally, looking up.

MY FAVOURITE NANDOS EVER!! im a regular costumer and the food is amazing, workers are lovely we also have a special bond with jayden. he is amazing and so funny. great atmosphere 10/10 service and the food is spectacular! (the halloumi is unreal) 100% recommend this nandos.

Sat waiting over 35 mins for our food as the kitchen seemed preoccupied with takeaway orders. No servers were to be seen near our table so I got up and went to the till. After checking on the status of our food we were told it was ready but had been waiting to collected and delivered to our table. Went back to our table and 5 minutes later we had the coldest chicken and chips I’ve had in living memory. Normally someone comes to the table after they deliver the food but no one came as they knew we would likely complain (can you blame us? Having to wait 40 mins for our food and then having to what the kitchen must have known was cold food delivered to the table?). Not impressed.

Too noisy. Avoid if you are not up for the crowd

Delivery took two hours which is insane, secondly some dishes were hot and some were cold which makes me think they cooked some but forgot others and didn’t make fresh ones. Overall one of the people couldn’t even eat as they had left for work before it was delivered. Properly awful

Dined here tonight. The waiters/waitresses all attentive. I was informed that food would be running late, they were apologetic, and to accommodate us, I was offered complimentary starters for the inconvenience. These things happen so I am always understanding however I appreciated the gesture from whom I believe to be the manager as I and the kids were absolutely starving so thank you. Brilliant customer service. I received a great service overall and would definitely recommend 👍

Recently went back to Nandos after few years, did not disappoint. Menu has changed more choice and variety coupled with great service.

Food and service are great. The toilets can't have been checked for hours. Toilet roll everywhere, smelly and a bit dirty.

I have to give a special shout out to the manager at this branch - Roger. I was recently diagnosed with quite a few allergens and going out to eat has been really daunting. I had a lot of anxiety surrounding what I can order and embarrassed to ask - as some of the allergens were as random as black/ white pepper. Roger was so extremely helpful he sat down with me, with a laptop, and went through the entire menu so I would know for next time. Every single allergen he went through I cannot thank him enough. He also gave us a voucher for my bravery to come out to eat despite all the allergens! I have a gluten allergy and he makes sure each time I come the stations are cleaned! He is truly an asset to the business !

A clean place lovely warm wood decor and the meal exactly to Nando standards. The staff were ok, (it was xmas eve late) they did well although you could see they were exhausted. All together the servixe was good rhe neal great the restaurant clean and tidy. It was good value .

Victor at Nando’s in Teddington deserves a standing ovation! His exceptional customer service truly made my takeout experience remarkable. During my lunch break, he went above and beyond, ensuring everything was perfect. Kudos to Victor for his outstanding service—definitely worth noticing and appreciating!

Worst experience from any chain restaurant in years. Place is freezing cold and every customer keeps their coats on throughout the duration. Uninterested staff members. Got food order wrong. Asked to speak to manager but they wouldn’t speak to me. It was actually shocking how bad they were at doing something simple. Left with a partial refund. Wouldn’t recommend this branch of Nando’s!! It wasn’t even busy on a Saturday lunchtime, hate to think what it would be like if it was.

Vittor was superb!! Food was excellent quality. They forgot my chips with my meal but when I brought this to their attention, Vittor was extremely generous and helpful. Really appreciate your customer service skills. Thank you

The food is amazing specially if you are a spice lover. The service could be improved. Parking could be an issue when visiting this Nando's.

Had a very nice meal. It was the first time I had to order via an app. Someone did come over to see if we were okay, which was nice. I was able to park my mobility scooter inside the door as it was pouring with rain. The floor was a bit wet inside, and as I use a walking, I found it quite slippery. Overall a good experience. 👍🏻

Standard Nandos fare - but had 3 goes getting my 6 year old grandson's plain burger just plain - came with BBQ sauce, then with all the trimmings and ketchup until 3rd go getting it right. The superbowls were very tasty but disappointed that fizzy drinks and yoghurt are all self service and bottomless - the most sugary or artificially sweetened things on the menu. And the fizzy drinks aren't cheap if you only want one small drink. Could do with some soft furnishings to absorb the sounds as it was busy and very noisy. But the kids enjoy it.

We have been going to Nandos Teddington since the day it opened and always loved it BUT the last time we went it was something we have never experienced before. The young lad serving our food had long filthy ripped sleeves jumper on which was all over my food (both plates), unfortunately my husband didn’t allow me to say something but I was puff off my food and didn’t eat it. The young lad was serving others same way and he was not told by his manager to remove that dirty jumper or not touch the food twitch the long dirty sleeves. Something which I have never experienced before and will not return, will be going to Richmond and/or twickenham Nandos from now on. (The tables and chairs really dirty not only this time but always, really sticky and always food all over the chairs. Staff are nice but the food lately not as good as used to be as cold and portions getting smaller)

Spent £20 on food wrong order came and then asked for it to be fixed and had to wait 45 Minutes still no food came and not everything on order came highly recommended avoiding seemed busy and organised likely got a refund but it's a very unexpectable service

Great value for money. Best place for chicken and the rewards scheme is very good. Staff super friendly. Lovely experience.

Food was cold I think this is a standard for nandos I've been to a few and in all cases had to tell the staff the food was cold.

Only giving 4* as its bloody expensive!!!! The rewards are not saving us a big amount of money anymore 🥺 and the side portion - how small- seriously taking the piss out of everyone now. I tend to get the sweet potato fries to share between my two daughters and even though i love it but for £4.50 its such a small portion which would feed only 1.

Friendly staff able to accommodate a large group. Children’s meals could do with some better options. Food was cooked well and tasted great. Plenty of clean cutlery. Unfortunately no refillable drinks were available on our visit so had to pay for cans. Restaurant was clean. No parking at restaurant but there are car parks in short walking distance.

Order didn't arrive, telephoned establishment, they put all the blame on deliveroo couldn't do anything to resolve issue, due to this will never recommend nandos not because of food but because of deliveroo

Drinks and icecream machine not working. Food basic.. mash tasted fake. Not very well presented and portions were very small for the prices paid. They missed one persons meal and we had to wait ages and most of us were nearly finished. The atmosphere was dull, so lucky we had good company.

This is the best nandos in the country, do not listen to these other comments, although service may be slower in the peak hours this is to be expected everywhere, every time I’ve gone I’ve been served with a smile and the food was delicious. I do enjoy a sagres on most occasions which is always ice cold and enjoyable. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Great food - but a really cold restaurant (even the staff were wearing jackets). Convenient to scan a QR code to order your food and pay when placing the order. Works well.

On a few occasions now they have forgotten to pack a number of items for our delivery and when I called up to try and get a replacement they have no interest in a resolution or a apology. On Each occasion the orders were worth over £100 each. I'm not one for writing reviews but maybe this will give them a kick up their backside to fix up.
