Nando's - Camden in Camden

This is your standard affair Nando's in the busy Camden streets. It is close to Camden market and will provide the usual reasonable price for food compared to other establishments. This Nando's is a little small in size and can get busy quite quickly. The staff are a little slow and food can take a little long to arrive at busy periods. However, the staff are friendly and considering everything it is fine.

The first Nando’s I recall that didn’t have a queue to get in. And this was Saturday evening! It felt quite ordinary and didn’t impress.

A classic fast food chain with great tasting food and a large menu. There is a good amount of seating and the staff are all friendly, providing efficient service.

Got the feeling staff were ill-equipped and were running around like headless chickens. Waited for 40 minutes for my food and noticed other customers were experiencing similar issues. When my food came it was super salty to the point of almost being enidible🙈 Even saw 3 delivery drivers eventually gave up as the place was too chaotic and not even acknowledging them.

Went a while ago and was served by AnnaLucia, lovely girl, very gentle and kind. Nice food and atmosphere. Very nice staff

First time I heard about nandos was in 2010, when I lived in London. 14 years after I was able to come back to London and look for the place that was my favorite during my stay and yes, it was still there, with a wider menu but with the same amazing taste. I highly recommend nandos. This place helped me feel closer to home while I was in the UK. Nandos is definitely an option for those of us who love flavorful food, they have a wide variety of sauces and the quality of the food is premium. If you have the opportunity DON'T MISS IT

I visit Nando’s regularly, and Belen always makes the experience great. She’s very friendly and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile. Belen takes good care of the customers and ensures everything is just right. Her positive attitude makes dining here even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience. I was really looking forward to having my kids try this experience, but I found the staff to be unfriendly and the service poor. I hope not all places in the city are like this. We specifically asked for non-spicy food for the children, but everything was spicy. I do not recommend this location.

Useless branch - walked in immediately ignored, staff have no clue what's going on. Finally acknowledged and told 5 mins for a table, fine sat down to wait only for another customer to come in and get seated straight away. Just walked out. Shambles.

I just had one of best portions ever at Nando'z here. I was served by Jessica who is a super nice and friendly staff in this branch and my order was served at its best 👌. I'd recommend it here and I will definitely come here again for a bite.

Good food, water costs extra money, waitress wasnt nice.

A great break from bland British food. I had the Peri Peri chicken with a corncob and chips. All were delightful. Be careful with the sauce. The XX Hot turned me inside out and I eat Thai food regularly!

Vicky was excellent, I had accidentally asked a customer if they did student discount and she made sure to send him my apology bottomless soft serve like a champ. I adored the friendly atmosphere here, it was so fun despite my silly blunder and accidental hot sauce snorting. The kids menu is so worth it you guys!! Again, big shout out to Vicky who was incredible and made my day brighter :)

Food and service were good — it just felt very untidy and unclean. Our table wasn't wiped down and we mopped up leftover sauce ourselves; there were a couple of flies hovering around upstairs, and the thick dust on the vents led me to believe that this Nando's has yet to meet a duster.

I like Nando's and I been to so many different Nando's brunches around the UK but this one is a fail. Food was cold, old and tasted horrible.

We were excited when this branch opened in our neighbourhood around Covid and it is a place we regularly go since then. It is therefore so disappointing when you are treated so badly for questioning where is your food after 45 min! At first, after waiting 25 min they told us that chicken thighs have run out and they have to get it from freezer. After waiting 45 min when we saw ppl who arrived after us already leaving after eating, we reached out to the manager. When my wife vented her frustration about not being told upfront that they have run out of thighs, the manager scornfully said - “do you want your food or not?” We are customers who have paid for their food upfront, not some street side beggar. Either the manager doesn’t have the skills to deal with dissatisfied customers or worse he doesn’t have the decency of talking politely to a woman. An apology was expected which never arrived, instead when the manger came with the plates to the table, he literally banged down on the table - like he was throwing food at a dog! The entire experience is the worst we have faced in any restaurant in London, or indeed anywhere in the world. We left the restaurant not receiving one word of apology for the late service or the pathetically rude behaviour.

Absolutely horrible manager. They had run out of chicken thighs but refused to inform us and the food arrived after 40 mins! When we expressed our frustration the manager said to us - Do you want the food or not!!! I have been going to this particular branch for years and this is the first time I have encountered such an obnoxious person here. His name is Fala.

You know what you're going to get from a Nandos. It's a step above a chicken shop but far from fine dining which I love. The staff are really friendly, they explained the menu really well. The atmosphere is lovely and key to the nice environment which Nandos generally have. If you're in the Camden area and you need a bite to eat them you can't go wrong with Nandos 😊

Member of staff rude. Asked where a particular sauce was. She said you will need to go upstairs and see if there's any up there.

Great chicken, very good fries and good salad. There are numerous sauces here that are very, very good. Nandos is always a good alternative for a good, quick meal.

More canteen like than most Nandos. Still was told 30mins for a table then given one 3 minutes later. Service was excellent and food up to usual Nandos standard.

During my time living in London, I frequently walked past several Nando's locations but never considered trying it. Today, I decided to give it a go, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Garlic Churrasco Burger and the Strawberry & Dragon Fruit Quencher, both of which lived up to their descriptions—the burger was flavorful, and the quencher was refreshingly delightful. However, my only complaint is that my table lacked napkins, a fork, and a knife even after my food was served.

I love Nando's; it's one of my favourite places to eat out. I usually go for the lemon and herb sauce with half a chicken.

If you go to London, you have to come to Nando's, delicious food with spectacular spices, delicious rice and any drink you want for the price, I will return

I went just to get the set of sauces and there were some small problems with one of the card lector. Apart from the staff was quite nice and made sure to find a way for me to buy the sauces so at the end of the day everything turned out great!

Our meal and desserts were excellent, I recommend the butterfly chicken and chocolate pudding. The staff were also polite and extremely professional when dealing with a rude and aggressive customer.

It was a nice quaint little building wasn't a ton of space and it was quite loud downstairs however the upstairs was really comfortable and nice, the staff was all really friendly and welcoming and had really atmosphere, the food was what you were to expect from nando's but they were out of stock on a couple items.

We waited a few minutes outside and at 11:35 a.m. the restaurant still wasn't open even though it usually opens at 11:30 a.m. We went for a walk and when we came back the same thing always closed.

The best option to end a tour of Camden Town. A nice and quiet place, with well prepared food. And we were served, both at the bar and at the table, by some very professional young people, who explained to us in Spanish how the restaurant works and answered all our questions.

Food the usual Nandos standard. Incredibly uncomfortable chairs upstairs, drinks and starters arrived the mains.

Excellent restaurant, friendly and efficient staff, fast service, the price quite high on the other hand. Quite a choice and ordering with the QR code is very practical, I highly recommend.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt with a 4th star as my corn on the cob was burnt and my burger didn't taste amazing (but maybe that's because I'm not mega keen on chicken burgers). Some of the waiters couldn't raise a smile either.

I mean it’s Nandos, of course it’s going to be 5*! Staff were really friendly, great location in Camden! And plenty of seating! Only downside was that they were out of chips when we went, but of course there are many other side to choose from!

I recently dined at Nando's in Camden Town and was thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. My business associates also thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful dishes. Walked into the restaurant around 9 an hour before they closed with a friendly welcome. After being sat my friend and I were trying to order a shared platter and said we couldn’t. Asked the manager and tried to order food they told us they had 1/2 a chicken left and still had people ordering and being sat. I said then what am I supposed to eat and left, manager didn’t accommodate us at all.

It took me a few minutes to understand that after being seated I had to go and order at the counter. For the rest it's correct, the wings go well

Just around the corner from Camden Lock. This was an easy meal for our family of four. Service was good and people were nice. You order on the app and just choose the table number. Food was delicious. (Our first time at Nando’s). Would definitely come again.

Good experience. Eating gluten-free was no problem here. However, the restaurant was completely full inside so we had to sit outside. We went in March, so it was still quite chilly to sit outside. Fortunately it was dry and the sun shone a little

Best Nando’s I’ve been to! Friendly, super quick service and better than usual standard food than other restaurants e.g. the corn was actually cooked which was so nice. No faults whatsoever.

Good food, alright service. It was kinda hard to understand the system and we wished a little better guidance, but it was a nice experience.

We wanted to move tables upstairs because the atmosphere downstairs felt a little bit off to us and the server we asked to help us with this couldn’t have been more accommodating and lovely! The server had glasses, a long blonde ponytail with brunette roots and an undercut, not sure of their name but they were probably the nicest server we’ve ever had at a Nandos (and we come a lot!). The server made sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. We felt very well looked after and would love to be back soon :)

The dining environment was very clean and the clerks were all very friendly. The chicken was juicy the fries were also crispy and seasoned very deliciously. Great dining experience and highly recommended.

Usually at this branch the food was good however this time the food was diabolical. Waited 40 minutes for the food and it was not even busy, when the food arrived at our table chips was cold, chicken was also lukewarm and tasted old, the chickpeas burger was also cold. It is not acceptable especially after waiting 40 minutes for food

Nandos was a restaurant I always ate at, but this time I had urgent business and just wanted to use the toilet. I was disappointed because they didn't let me use the toilet without purchasing something and I had to shop with my money, which is not appropriate for such a big business.

My brother had never been before so while we were in the UK thought we should introduce him. Food was excellent as usual and Vicky was an incredible host. She was a treasure to talk to and made sure we had an amazing time there give her a raise.

This carbon neutral restaurant featuring food inspired by Mozambique was DELICIOUS. It tasted so fresh and was delicious. We ordered every appetizer and they were all excellent. Our very favorite was the sweet potato fries followed by the hummus. I got the chicken thighs and they were perfection!

Had the most amazing late night munch here tonight, food and service was impeccable, didn’t quite catch the name of the lady in the yellow shirt but she was attentive and made our short experience so much better, a real star! Will be back for more soon!!

Having never visited this nandos before, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful art work. The staff members I interacted with (at the till and throughout my visit) were very friendly and polite. In terms of atmosphere, there was nothing particularly outstanding anout it and it wasn't offensive in anyway so I've given a 3 star. Finally, the food was very tasty and well presented. I had the spicy chickpea wrap. Would be nice if you offered gluten free options for those of us who suffer the consequences of eating wheat.

Exactly what you expect from a Nandos. It's not fine dining but it's spicy and comforting; and deserves the 5 stars for the food and service within it's category. With amazing staff like Vicky, who was quick and efficient. The actual meal was fresh and hit the spot after a long day and a craving for Nandos after landing in London.

Came back to Nandos and thought I’d give it a try, since the last time I had a bad experience. Safe to say this has reignited my love for good quality grilled peri chicken with good service. Shoutout to Nick for the excellent customer service. :)
