Nando's Bristol - Abbey Wood in South Gloucestershire

ordered on deliveroo 5 meals, 3 for adults 2 for my kids. 1 kids order main course was missing. Deliveroo helped to speak with the restaurant, manager said i can jump in my car and pick up the missing item....great offer thank you, my food was cold by the time i managed to speak with the manager also. its not too hard to prepare 5 meals, it was not even complicated, no allergy or any other requests.... too bad there is no option for negative star...

The food was superb. The only restaurant my wife loved at first visit😍 We really enjoyed our moment, the atmosphere is awesome. Only short fall was, we had to wait for so long to be served.

The evening was very busy there at Nando's and we waited for 20mins to get a table and the table when we got in wasn't dry from cleaning etc. Apart from that the food was great.

Quick service and nice place. The online order system for this particular venue is sometimes bit tricky as they close the online orders bit too early but other than that nothing to complaint.

I enjoyed a lunchtime meal with colleagues here. I'd recommend avoiding the chicken wraps as the burgers that are the same price are far superior.

We come here but not often. Always excellent staff and service. Had a slight problem on one item on menu not tasting right. Ben on duty sorted it so quick and was pleasant. Rest of staff also very good.

The food was delicious as ever, and the handsome fellow who greeted us at the door, Ethan, was exceptionally friendly and catered to our every need

I have been to this nandos for years and have always been happy with the service here. Some honourable mentions are Ethan, Iritra, Gemma, Ben and Krisz. They always go above and beyond.

Was informed that food would be a 20 min delay due to over ordered 1/2 chickens. Late shift manager ((1900 - Subday) dark hair, glasses and decorative shirt) explained situation and offered complementary drink. Excellent handling and excellent food.

Decent meal had double chicken wrap with Portuguese tomato salad and broccoli, asked for extra chicken but they were running out at the time 🤣 nice staff, was close to going over Asda opposite to get some more chicken to help out

Food was fine when it came. Service bit slow. Sadly they don't sell hot drinks!!

Lovely experience at this nandos. This food is always exceptionally well. It seems to be that whenever we come here we are served by a lovely worker named Simmy, and Simmy makes me and my husband feel extremely welcome every time. 😊

I tried the pitta: The bread ruptured and the sauce leaked everywhere.

Me and my parents went to Abbey's Wood nando's yesterday. I was having trouble with my nando app, and Gemma was so kind trying to help me. Gemma really just made us welcomed especially as it was my birthday the whole team yesterday were just really chilled and got our food out to us rather quickly. She was such a lovely woman, thank you, Gem. Food was delicious love the chicken liver and the chicken was delicious 💖 🥰

Food is good can get busy but haven't had a bad meal here. I visited again last week and again this week the staff are excellent they might be young but they are on the ball.

Wow pretty sure I’ve just had the worst service ever. 13:48 I’ve come to collect, didn’t even say hello just said “what” and then when I said I have an order to collect she just said “not ready yet” and walked away. Imagine paying £49 for food and that’s what you get for service. Asian girl with black hair. She needs to be sacked and never hired anywhere that has customers.

Nando's never disappoints me. Came back to UK after some time and in the first week itself, tried Nando's. Nothing changed much. The chicken liver is more juicier this time. The fino pitta is good as always. The service was bit slow but went there pick time on Saturday late afternoon. Sides are good as well -- the normal stuff but good taste everytime.

Unbelievably, my first visit to a Nandos... not my last! Great tasting and great value

The Host(Raymon)was really good and appreciable, he was very helpful, as this was our first time in Abbeywood. The Service was excellent.

Overall a nice meal out with family fir daughters 15th Birthday Unfortunately we all said the same thing, the chicken was so dry, not good And on my butterfly chicken the skin was definitely not crispy as promised.

Basically a type of fast food restaurant. You order via the app and get the drinks yourself from the machine. The food was partly ok. I had some kind of pide with chicken. Taste ok. Recommendation: not really

15.75 for the new churrasco burger and two sides (fries and garlic bread). The burger was pretty good, I enjoyed the new sauce but I've only been to nandos 3 times now so don't have a good frame of reference. Although the second time I went was also at this branch and the medium marinade on chicken strips was very disappointing. But anyway, this burger was good, it's just overpriced overall. The garlic bread was good too, better than it looks at least.

I know how hrd you guys work but Calling your customer Bros is a big NO and using tills with touch screen and cooking food at the same time is bad. Luckily Food was good

The place was ok, the food was also ok (of course worse piri chicken (too dry, not juicy) than in Portugal, but still doable). Service is chaotic, even though they have an app ordering system, still they managed do bring us the wrong order two times in a row.

Had the new curiaos burger with rice and broccoli! Fab meal, really enjoyed the fillet burger, the sauce was yum!

It was very busy when we came today but got seated straight away by a lovely guy on floor who was flat out working with no help from management . I believe the guy on the floors name began with A. The managements name was Pedro and he’s wasn’t doing anything to help and was talking and not helping.

Used a red Nandos reward, they failed to mention that it didn’t apply to the mac and cheese. A meal that should’ve cost £6 ended up costing £13 and they refused to fix the order. Awful service, won’t be returning!!

The food was really good (if not overpriced... nandos) Service was also good. However, the music was really loud, we were seated next to the speaker, asked if it could be turned down as I couldn't hear my partner opposite me, I was told it can't be turned down so we moved but the music was still quite loud... seemed a bit unfortunate to have to speak loudly over the music to hear..... 1st nandos that's happened.

Not impressed! I ordered a plain chicken breast. Twice I was given Mild. On the 3rd complaint I was given a Plain Chicken Breast. By the time the 3rd Chicken breast was served, I had already eaten the chips and garlic bread. Leaving me with Chicken. The garlic bread wasn't even toasted properly Don't think this is acceptable. Don't think it's worth the money, prices has risen I won't be returning Definitely gone down hill. I would not recommend

Good basic food for a quick lunch

Food is always same. Difficult ordering . But staff were friendly enough to guide you.

Really disappointed, took my family to nandos abbeywood . I ordered the boneless platter for two and considering it costs £26 I was disgusted with it. As you can see 2 people couldn't share it !! The portion was so small!!! Over priced and very disappointing. We left hungry!!!!

Worst service ever I went to a fight with the guy serving due to cold fries

I've been in different Nando’s and I do love it. last couple of times, I came to this branch and unfortunately the food was cold. The first time I was on my own and I asked the waitress to change my food as it was cold completely and couldn’t eat it but they just brought the fresh chips, not the chicken which was frustrating. went there again and hoped to receive fresh and warm food but it was the same again. I have spoken with one of the managers and he was helpful but he couldn’t do anything about it. hope next time everything will be sorted out

I went to Filton Abbey Wood nandos and was very disappointed! I went to nandos on the Monday where online there was a student discount saying 20% all day from mon-wed. However, one of the workers said it was only to 5pm !! I had to show them it online and after a confrontation I eventually got it but was very hard and stressful to do! We were also greeted at the door with them saying they only had one portion of thighs left (which tends to be my usual order )and if we wanted to order it we had to go the til. And after going to til the employee replied ‘yeah there’s one portion left, but I’m having it on my break ‘. I was left a bit shock after i it was said in a very sarcastic way and rude way ! I then went onto to try get a sunset burger and they didn’t even have that either ! So had to settle for something that wasn’t even the best !! Very disappointed will not be attending again!!

The food is what you would expect in any Nando’s and of great quality. The service at lunch time was very fast, I ordered on the app and my food was ready in 5 minutes. The location does make the atmosphere feel a little less nicer than some Nando’s, but the convenient location is nice. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

We were visiting family in Bristol and stopped in for some tea, service was good and the food was fresh.

Abbeywood Nandos is a vibe, staff are very friendly and professional. Food was great as always

2 of us arrived for dinner on a Tuesday evening and were seated at a sticky table. The hummus and pitta starter arrived quickly. So quickly that the pitta fell onto the sticky table when plonked in front of us. Waitress simply walked away. Half of the pitta was stale on one dish. When I pointed out that half the bread was stale, the waitress' solution was to offer more bread. 2 mains ordered which arrived 10 min apart so the first was practically cold by the time the second arrived. The chicken was ordered extra hot, but it arrived with no discernable spice on it at all. I simply left most of my cold, non-spicy food which sat in front of me for another 10 min before anyone checked if the food was okay. The waiter (different from the first) seemed genuinely confused that I didn't like the food and his solution was to offer us ice cream. He seemed even more confused when I declined the ice cream and simply walked away from our table. The next 15 min was spent with a full plate of food in front of me (as per the picture) whilst all waiting staff actively and noticeably avoided approaching our table. The telltale sign was that our table rooster wasn't taken away! As we were leaving, I asked to speak to the manager (Pedro?) to point out how bad our experience was. He simply couldn't care. He mumbled about speaking with the staff and said he was confident it would be better next time. Not one single person here seems to care about ANY aspect of what they're doing. Stale food, meals served at random intervals, and a complete absence of customer care. Woeful.

Prices have crept up and portions seems to have crept down.

On my last visit this branch had run out of most of the main chicken dishes so I ended up with something I didn't really want. Not good given the price. 2 stars for quick service though. Edit - bumped down to 1 star for the ridiculous reply. Perhaps inattention to detail is why you ran out of chicken. As a chicken restaurant you might want to think about your business model.

It's a good nando's. It's not fine dining but a quick and convenient casual dining spot. Portion size and quality has been consistent over several visits. Can be a bit noisy. Always quite busy while the students are at uni.

Generally a very good branch. Variance seems to correlate with shift management and term time, but overall an enjoyable experience.

despite having called the restaurant twice and speaking to the manager the food was wrong...disappointed. I don't know if I'll order from Nando's again

Food came out exceptionally fast. Too fast perhaps? Half of our 15 wings were very dry and didn't seem freshly made to order. The men's toilets are in need of a deep clean and the toilet roll dispenser was broken, with a large centrefeed roll just dumped on the floor next to the toilet. The water machine also had a funky smell, possibly from the drip tray not being emptied. Wouldn't take much effort to fix these but never had the above issues in other stores.

A usual nandos, located in a perfect location. Good food as you would expect. Although waiting times of up to 1 hour for some choices on the menu could put you off and this was when it wasn't busy. Possible shortage of staff....I'm not sure?!

chicken was very tasty. Very quick service even when very busy. The only comments is that the waiting area for takeaway is right in the middle of the entrance and cold. So people were walking on my feet to get past, and also, the main door was broken. I had to push very hard to get it open.

Lovely hot chicken. Got the order slightly mixed up so dropped a star.

Some of the staff was very inattentive, was waiting for over 15 minutes while there were empty tables and people standing around. Not happy. Food very tasty as always though.

Nandos accepted my order on Deliveroo. After waiting for an hour they cancelled my order. Unacceptable customer service! If you’re not able to fulfill an order let the customer know within the first 10min. Disgraceful!

First Nandos experience! (Long overdue). Food was great, service quick and easy. Well definitely be coming back!

All staff look like zombies. No smiling, greeting or any kind of human behaviour. Now lets come to the food. Average and rushed. Doesn’t look like its cooked with any passion or care. Not the Nando’s we know, if you don’t want to work there then leave. You’re ruining it for the customers and their experience. The taste? Average due to all the points above. You see how it all comes together?

Decent food and pleasant. Location is awkward

Being an ex nandos employee I can say that this is the worst Nandos I have ever been to. It takes them ages to run food. As an example last time when I was there I ordered just sides, which I know for a fact takes almost no time to be done. I saw my order sitting and waiting for someone to pick it up for 20 mins!!!! It took them 20 mins to pack rice and chips. This is after me telling the cashier that I'll be waiting for the order. It was only after I got hold of the manager that he picked up my food and didn't even show the courtesy to apologize. Order date: 19 October 2022

Slow, despite not being very busy. Had to remind them it had been 25mins since ordering and still no food. Food came warm. Brocolli was soggy and awful. Chips a meagre portion. Otherwise its like every other Nandos
