Nando's in Eastleigh

Staff are friendly, check back done before I had taken a bite of my meal though, I had only just put the salt and sauce on my plate. I love the refurbishment, the restaurant looks much better now. Tables need cleaning as soon as customers leave, several rather grubby, and a mucky floor when we arrived unfortunately. I ordered a half chicken, a butterfly chicken breast, and 2 portions of chips, the gentleman taking my order asked if the chips were to share, I said they were. I was rather surprised to find all of the chips on my plate when the waitress (eventually) brought our food, hubby just had a lonely butterfly chicken on his plate lol. We popped in before a movie, had allowed an hour, as it used to take 30 minutes to order and eat, thought we would have plenty of time. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes to get our food, even though the restaurant was half empty. We ended up being 10 minutes late going into the cinema, very annoying. It’s very expensive now, over £45 for 2 portions of chicken, 2 portions of chips, and 2 drinks. Nice for a treat though. Had the service been better and the prices a bit lower I would have given 4*’s.

Our very favourite Nando’s branch. All the staff are very helpful and the food arrives promptly. Anthony, the Manager, is very approachable, friendly and efficient. His management style works very well at Eastleigh. It’s always a delight to eat there! Thank you to Anthony and his team for all their hard efforts - much appreciated!

Went in on a bank holiday weekend and when seated the chairs were covered in dirt and sauces. Spoke to a manager and asked them to clean it and they denied my request. When I ordered my food using the sit and order was somehow the best part of this outrageous restaurant. My food arrived after almost an hour and was stone cold. I spoke to the same manager again (Kate) I believe her name was and complained about the temperature of my food. She denied it was the fault of the restaurant and stated that the food was hot when handed to me. The whole establishment should be ashamed of this store and while I was leaving all the employees were just stood around with orders on the screen talking about something called ops. Will never go here again and highly recommend that if you are looking for a good dining experience look for other establishments to go as this place is horrific and the prices they charge are criminal.

From my experience, I’ll definitely be coming again! Waiter was really friendly, the only negative part was that they didn’t have any still water but offered for me to choose any other soft drink with no extra charge! Food was all good, a waitress noticed that we didn’t have napkins and brought us some immediately. Lots of staff checking in on us. Our table was cleaned the moment we stood up to leave. Quick service, friendly staff, food was great! No complaints!

Went here after seeing a film and arrived around 8.40pm. Ordered 2 quarter chickens with 4 different sides. Tables next to us were complaining about a long wait for food. No one came and told us it would be delayed but our food eventually arrived an hour later. The sides were appalling. Lukewarm corn, dried out salad and slaw. The chicken was delicious but the smallest I’ve ever seen. We complained to the manager who offered us vouchers to visit again. No thanks.

On Easter Sunday we visited the Nandos in Eastleigh. I was doubtful due to my daughters severe allergies. All my worries were put to rest when I was served by two lovely young men (Connor and Aaron) who allowed me to see the allergies on the iPad and who continued to reassure me they’d do everything possible when our food was prepared. They also provided the best service I could have possibly asked for; friendly, kind and super efficient. Our food was hot and cooked to perfection. The place was clean and tidy too, which makes a change from sticky dirty tables. Thank you guys we will definitely come again soon!

We were served by Sophie. She was very helpful. It was Friday evening but despite being busy was calm and smiling, and made sure I was seated comfortably with my family. On the whole staff was great and good experience dining out.

We went to Nandos Swan Centre Eastleigh yesterday (Thursday) for lunch. They have got rid of the Halloumi Wrap and have been saying that it will come back (for the last year!). We asked about their Yoghurt machine. No, it was still broken (2 years now). We ordered a coffee. No, they don't serve coffee. Very little for a vegan or vegetarian these days. Very disappointing visit.

On Sunday the 19th of September at 3:00 pm There was three adults and one 15 month old who has lactose intolerance The mother made every effort to tell the staff about the baby’s lactose intolerance When we got home which is 15 minutes from the restaurant The baby was sick and he had bad diarrhoea For a number of days I think it was cross contamination of his food Nando’s must take more responsibility for the training of staff and cooks

I was planning a visit to nandos for a while as wanted to try their plant based chicken, however due to Brexit and food shortages they had none, or very much chicken Asides that we were welcomed warmly and given a nice clean table, my daughter had a chicken wrap and I had sides, it’s all I could have but they were phenomenal I had hummus, delicious, chips .. perfect and a side salad which after drowning in peri peri extra spicy hot sauce was also lovely My disappointment at the missing food was not their fault and the meal I had was filling and tasty The highlight was our server, what a lovely young lady, so friendly and attentive, she was so nice A great meal altogether

From the moment I entered, to the moment I left, Ella made me feel welcome and comfortable. She was a great server and was happy to answer all the questions I had. Will be coming here again most definitely 👍🏻 Well done Nandos Eastleigh for hiring the right person.

I don’t really visit Nandos but I decided to today in Eastleigh and was very impressed and will be visiting again as I was not disappointed. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and efficient. Who stood out to me specifically when helping me with my order was Ella, she was an amazing host. Food was amazing and I have no complaints :)

Me and my girlfriend came in this evening and were very welcomed by staff. After ordering I heard a table say their order was wrong (it wasn’t) but the staff were still offering other options. Very nice atmosphere and very polite. I’ve never been too fond of Nando’s but would definitely come back just for the great service!

I had only every been to a Nandos once before (about 5 years ago) and wasn't that impressed. However, somebody had given me a voucher which was about to expire, so as I was on my way to Weymouth with my two youngest and had stopped half way to go to the cinema at The Swan Centre, with Nandos next door and my voucher about to expire I gave it a go and am now pleased I did. So, first impressions - you have to register on an app before you can enter (very sensible - stops queueing and bottle necks and overcrowding). The restaurant itself has pleasant decor and appeared very clean and well laid out. Covid measures were in place (track and trace, hand sanitiser at door, staff wearing masks, tables spaced out, ordering and paying on app, sanitiser on way to toilet and in toilet and foot gadget on door so you did not have to touch handle). Staff - extremely friendly, polite and helpful - our server explained how to use the app and also how to use my voucher and told me if I had any issues to let him know. Ordering was easy and voucher was applied very simply. Food arrived quickly, was just the right temperature, and, I have to say, I was impressed! My daughter had the grilled chicken burger (garlic BBQ with cheese) which she said was delicious and my son and I had the Sunset Burger (I had garlic and he had medium). The burgers were excellent - juicy, plump chicken with melted cheese, chutney and mayo all in a fresh, soft bun. I would definitely eat here again.
