Terrible service The manager did not have a care only one good worker! Too busy and food came not on Time! Not provided cutlery for takeaway! 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 😢🙁🙁😕😪🙁😕😞😞😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 why do people go to this restaurant?!?!?!? I said, I was gonna make a complaint The manager said ok! (this is about the takeaway!) I wish I could do rate it 0 stars!🫥🫥🫥🫥🫥 I hate the vibes in the restaurant! I respect that it is dinner rush-hour!

This was the most disappointing visit to Nando's I've ever had. With a restaurant like this where customers are seated with direct sightlines to the pass where they can see the food they ordered having it's final touches to it, you would think they wouldn't let food sit there for more than 20 minutes. Our food was not bought out together on this visit, with 5 people it is completely understandable, but with gaps between mains where an entire meal has been finished, and then the next meal has gone cold for how long it has been sitting on the pass, it begins to get embarrassing for both the customer and the employee. One of our meals took a staggering 47 minutes to even make it's way to our table. This order was put through just before 9pm. This restaurant closes at 10pm, and I fear if it wasn't for us asking where the food was, one of our friends would have paid to sit and watch the rest of us eat while enjoying an empty stomach, before the kitchen closes down. Not only was there issues with the food, but the door which opens directly into the back kitchen had a clear view from our table. The floor in there is disgustingly dirty, wet, bin lids on the floor?? Just not a place that screams cleanliness. There is never any clean forks, and the bottle tops to the sauces are absolutely disgusting and most definitely not cleaned each night. The toilets are by far the most vile part of this experience, to which I only saw the mens. The floor stains, scum around the sinks and no lock on the cubical is just embarrassing on so many different levels. Overall, Rushden Lakes Nando's is embarrassing, and needs a serious overhaul of management and cleanliness otherwise I would go elsewhere, for good.

Tried not for the first time to go for a meal here. Thursday afternoon, 2 pm half to a third full and told 45 minute wait for a table for 2!! Place is a joke and let’s Nando’s down. Arrogant staff standing around doing nothing yet can’t cope with a third full restaurant. Not as if there’s about 10 competitors next door. They must lose each day what they pay a manager to run the place. Guess what I went elsewhere and spent my money!

The place is filthy ,ladies toilets a disgrace ,scum on sinks ,toilets full of sanitary towels ,if we had used the toilet first we would not have eaten thinking the hygiene must be the same in the kitchen, food was average ,won't go back @

Ordered click and collect for what I thought would be a quicker way. Given a time to collect and then had to wait in the doorway for another 25 mins as they couldn’t find my order. They could have cooked it twice over in that time!! Finally got it home (2 mins up road) and not only were the portion sizes for a mouse but the food was so cold I ended up putting in the microwave. No apology from any staff members Do not recommend this place at all

I used to love Nandos and was really looking forward to it. It was fairly empty and the food was delivered quickly, but it was cold and the chicken soggy. They told us the drinks machine coke mixing hadn't been working properly for two months and, although we tried it, the coke did not taste right so we were given a bottle. There was only an option for bottomless drinks even though the machine wasn't working correctly. It felt like an expensive mistake and probably wouldn't bother eating at Nandos again unless it was the only option.

We weren’t planning on staying long, on a bit of a tight deadline. Food was ordered, came out in reasonable time even though the restaurant was quite busy. Decent food even though a little pricey for the size of the portions Friendly staff

Only customers in at 1215 hrs today. Share platter: just chicken and chips. Chips were cold Chicken was cold. As we were the only people in the place it's disappointing they couldn't serve hot food.

We always come to Nandos here in Rushden, and every time without fail they are so so kind and provide such good service! We are here today and just wanted to leave a special mention for Gayle as she has just given some of the best service we have ever received! Thank you so much Gayle, what a lovely face to have greeting the customers☺️

Excellent staff and food. Everyone was so friendly, especially a lady with blue and purple hair. Didn't get her name but she definitely deserves a raise! Food came out and was hot and tasty. We will be back

Worst Nando’s in the whole country, food luke warm, was told lies by staff, had to send back my food three times, manager did not even come and speak to me he sent his supervisor, the manager needs re training, staff walking past ready orders management very incompetent . Nando’s headquarters please look into this as a matter of urgency

Worst nandos ive ever been too, all of the staff were incredibly rude. food was stone cold and could break a window if you threw the chicken at it. When complained they tried to take our food mid meal after waiting an hour for it. AVOID

I gave it one star because you can’t give zero. This is the worst Nandos I have been to on all fronts. Dining in was a horrible experience the staff are not friendly and miserable. Also getting food delivered is no better. On the rare occasion they remember to send all your items the food is stone cold. I don’t know if it lack of training or if the staff just don’t care but someone higher up needs to visit this store because it’s appalling.

Normally I enjoy nandos spicey chicken breasts .But o dear..would love to know where they get thier tiny chicken from..I have never seen such tiny ones..definitely not good value..also,why do you have to only have fill up drinks? I don't see why I have to pay so much when I only want 1 drink..won't be returning..such a shame..

We went on a Saturday afternoon, the food was ok we had a sharing platter. We had to ask for plates which wasn’t a good start. The toilets were filthy, the floor was covered in wet tissue and I couldn’t use them, I just wanted to leave after I had been in there.

Don’t get me wrong the food here is amazing nevertheless the wait to get it was not satisfactory. Bearing in mind it was a Friday evening we waited an hour for a table which we were fine with and most of all expected as we’d not booked. Once we were sat we then waited over an hour for food for two people got it a 10pm after ordering at 8:45pm.By the time we received our food we are starving. There is a huge lack of staff we saw a maximum of two waiters on the floor on a busy Friday night while the restaurant host was multitasking throughout the night. No one checked on us to make sure Food was okay which would’ve been fine but our order was slightly wrong so we had to attempt to flag someone down while they were busy running food to tables which definitely wasn’t ideal for them as they looked rushed off their feet anyway. They are 100% understaffed! Front of house was amazing they were constantly on their toes and did check on our food when we got their attention but I feel that back of house was slow as we were watching the kitchen and Food what is not being prepared at a fast enough speed. Overall I do think that food needs to be made at a much quicker pace to reduce the wait and although it was Friday the restaurant isn’t massive therefore shouldn’t struggle to much with the amount of orders coming in.

The management team at the restaurant was useless, spent most of the time on the phone, my food sat in the window for 6mins b4 he got off his phone to tell 1 of the 4 staff that was doin nothing to take my food over. I waited over 40mins for chicken thats a bloody joke, it was a Sunday their was 3 other customer’s in the restaurant, their was more staff than customers imagine what it wud b like wen busy, i made a complaint and they replied saying my issue was resolved in house, how was it resolved they are lying hence u have unhappy customers, my kids were at the dessert place across the road n waited over 1hr for me to return on a school night. Ur restaurant in Rushden Lakes is a joke. How was it resolved in the restaurant??? They did absolutely nothing not even a apology for being so long with the food. Only wen I mentioned it to 1 staff who asked me to leave a review did he realise they were slow and incompetent, his face after i told him we been waitn 40mins was a picture n he was embarrassed n walked away. Me and the husband both love nandos. However this particular one has given us cause to complain the last 3 times we have visited! Today was the final straw. Prices have increased which is understandable but 3.40 for a bottomless drink when the coke is flat isn't acceptable. So I tell a member of staff who proceeds to try it because clearly I'm saying its flat for no reason! Then says okay I'll go and fix it. But doesn't! So We waited over an hour for food because they were too busy concentrating on deliveroo orders to care about the dine in customers. Then a table of 5 that were seated 20 minutes after us got their food first! So I enquire as to how long our meal would be and mention that actually we ordered before them. She says I'm sorry I'll check can I get you any sauces? Not sure what I can do with sauces when I have no food! But at least she tried. Mean while a lad next to us who had been waiting 90 minutes by this point still hadn't got his meal either! 2 minutes later his food comes out along with ours. Now char grilled is one thing but we didn't just pay £35 for our food to come out completely black and in my case on a plate that wasn't clean! Usually I would send it back but I was not waiting another 80 minutes for a replacement! Will be changing to kettering one, might be ran better than rushden lakes! Very disappointed. And before anyone jumps on the "working in a restaurant is hard" I know it is I've done it. Hence giving 2 more chances after the first poor experience.

Pathetic customer service. Waited so long for our food that my wife got fed up and left. I was more patient, but shouldn’t have been. Not a word of apology. Almost missed the start of our movie,despite being there in what should have been plenty of time. The minute the place is a little busy (most weekends), the service disappears. Overpriced for crap service and chicken that I could cook better myself. Disgusting toilets too. I won’t sicken you by saying what was smeared up the walls. I hope the kitchen staff washed their hands. Won’t be back. Used to like Nando’s, but this restaurant has to be one of their worst. Would not recommend. Avoid!!!

A relatively new restaurant, great for a pre-cinema meal (large multi-screen Cineworld Cinema next door) and when a good chicken meal is required and time is limited. Have never felt Nando's is conducive to sitting and chatting with friends and family over a good meal and drinks, but for good simple food, cooked well and served quickly it is ideal.

Nando’s Rushden lakes We popped in here for dinner before going to the pictures. The wife had the chicken fino pitta with chips and saucy spinach. Whilst I had the half chicken with chips alongside grains and greens. With a large Merlot and bottomless fizzy drink the total bill was around £31 a good price for a decent sized meal with drinks .Good points Price, half chicken, Fino pitta, grains and greens ( different but very tasty ) Bad points Wife wasn’t keen on saucy spinach said it was very curryish Chips, big problem, always seem to be served cold whatever Nando’s we visit. When that food hits the serving desk it needs to go out not sit there for 5 mins. Disappointed to see half the staff chatting to another member of staff who was eating her dinner whilst on a break. No wonder food sits there a long time. Wouldn’t take much to turn this into a nice eating experience .

It’s a Nando’s so you know what to expect foodwise, however the thing that compelled me to leave a review was the good, friendly service.

arrived late to collect my food that I had already paid for on line and the staff member told me off without asking why I had been late. As it happens my little one had had a seizure because he has epilepsy. while trying to explain this to the waiter he walked away from me and started to attend to other customers. He even had the guts to say I am now going to walk away from you as you were late to collect your food and I cant care less to serve you.... on another occasion when eating in, i requested for 2 whole plan chickens and we were served burnt chicken that smelt when we complained we were told we had already eaten even when most of the chicken was still in the plate.

Been here a few times this year. Every tiime we've had delicious, hot and tasty food. Staff are really friendly and extremly helpful. Service was realy good we've not had to wait long. Definitely will be returning.

We called in for lunch on the way back from East Coast and were seated immediately we arrived. I understand this Nandos is very new and wasnt without teething problems when it first opened.Well all of that is firmly behind them now and they have a great team of staff. Very friendly and efficient. Couple this with the great Nando's menu and this place is a winner.Being a new-build this is a very clean and spacious environment and a great place for everyone. Its located very close to the Cinema at the far end of the complex.Definitely my favourite restaurant in the Rushden Lakes complex.

We visited here with our granddaughters on a very wet, miserable Monday lunch time. We had such a warm, friendly welcome and our waitress (who I'm sorry to say I didn't get her name) couldn't do enough for us. She cleared a table for us, and when we explained we were 'Nando Virgins' she took the time to explain everything to us. In fact she made our experience just perfect and the girls thought she was lovely. Number 2 granddaughter is very fussy, but they were happy to oblige with a plain butterfly chicken, chips and lots of ketchup. No 1 granddaughter and I shared a boneless chicken meal for 2, and grandad had a burger. Bottomless glasses of coke & Fanta were a great success, and the girls loved getting up for a refill. You help yourself to Peri Peri sauces ranging from mild to extra hot. I got no further than medium. Very tasty food, and a real treat for us all. Well done Nando's and your wonderful waitress.

We booked a table for our sons birthday meal and had a lovely evening. The food was excellent as always - we are regular Nando’s diners but the reason I felt compelled to leave a review was the staff. They are a young team and are so welcoming, enthusiastic, polite and professional and fun. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our evening. Would recommend a visit.

Met a friend for an early lunch today and both ordered the chicken wrap with fries and spicy rice.The food was fresh and piping hot and service was excellent.We had the refillable soft drinks option which is always excellent value.My food was quite hot spice wise and good value for what was enjoyed.A decent place to enjoy lunch in pleasant surroundings.Visited 8th October 2019.

Arrived tonight to be greeted by the front of house lady Jeanette who was brilliant yes the restaurant was busy but she explained how long the wait would be and kept us updated while we waited she is an absolute gem she kept everyone updated while keeping an eye on things making sure tables were cleared and people were seated quickly food was hot & tasty will definitely be going back soon x

What can go wrong at a Nando’s? Nothing! It’s perfect every time we come here and the whole family loves it.

Wasn’t happy when we first arrived as no one acknowledged us! Then we waited over half an hour for our food so wasn’t very happy... but we left happy so will definitely be returning again! Craig was very good and quick to sort out our problem which turned what could of been a bad experience into a good one!

I love nando’s And the food we got was up to the standards of the many other nando’s We have been too.However there wasn’t any high chairs available so our youngest daughter had to stay in her Oran, or sit on our laps not ideal. We went to order nuts which they had ran out of, and when the meal arrived the portion size of the double chicken wrap was quick shocking.The wraps were half the size of that in other chains, with hardly any chicken in them, chips and rice were also substantially less than others. I would rather go to the Kettering or Northampton branches were I have never had these issues.

Went with the wife - pre cinema meal at Rushden Lakes. It was busy , a queue with names being taken , but within 15 minutes we were seated and ordered. Good standard food and service - nothing to complain about , so 5 stars from me and would go back

This is another one of my go to places. Such a lovely location and great service. Always seated very promptly and food always up to standard. Loving all the new things to try on the menu. Always something for everyone! This is the best Nando's I've been too! come and give this one a try!

We ordered a takeaway this evening which my partner went to collect. He had to wait 25 minutes past the arranged collection time for the food - no apology was given for the long wait! We appreciate that they were busy but an apology is just good customer service. My partner checked the bag to see if everything we had ordered was there as we have previously received orders where items have been missing - everything was in the bag. When opening my chicken breast pitta, I found there was no chicken in it - only some lettuce, one squashed tomato and an inch thick piece of cucumber!It’s not the first bad experience we have had at this Nando’s but it will be last as we won’t be going there again.

Fifth time been here now and the service has gone from bad to worse. I gave it a good go but will not be using it again. We arrived and there were a lot of free tables as it wasn’t busy. We were sat down quite quickly on arrival and went to order our food. As there wasn’t many people there I assumed it would be quite quick but it appeared nobody was delivering food to the tables. I fact at one stage the pass was full of food some of which sat there for over 25 minutes!! One of which was unfortunately ours. We’d ordered wraps, one with chips and the other sweet potatoes. When it arrived our wraps were soggy and the chips and sweet potatoe cold. When I called over the waitress she apologised and said she’d get some more cooked. This did happen but sone 15 minutes later. So from order we took 40 minutes to get our food. The table next to us also had room to complain as two of the dishes they ordered didn’t ever arrive. The service in the place is shocking. There didn’t seem to be any managerial staff working and it was chaos. Very disappointed…again. I’d give this a wide birth until a manager who knows how to run the floor makes there mark and runs it properly.

We recently booked a large table for 18 people as part of a corporate night out, and were very pleased with the service.We preordered which made everything a lot easier, very fast to put through the till. The staff were very helpful and all the food was great.Much appreciated fast and friendly service. Thank you!

Managed to actually get in to this Nando’s as usually I turn up on a Saturday and it’s an hour and a half wait to get a table! I don’t think so! So went for a Wednesday instead...still busy inside but no waiting for a table and food service was fast. Had a great fino pitta with peri-salted fries and spicy rice and a refill-drink. Overall a nice meal had here.

I thought 2 halfs made a whole and that chickens would be oven cooked whole and the divided into 2 halfs for the grill. But in Rushden you have to wait an hour for a whole chicken and 39 minutes for a half. Even worse having waited 45 minutes our meals were ready and sat under the light for 7 minutes until the staff who kept looking at the order designed to serve it. The food was hot, but had started to dry out the chicken breast under the dry electric heat of the hot shelf. Not great. Nandis is perfect when served imediately after grilling. But when left it dries out fast. I watched other orders sit there from 5-8 minutes ready to be served. Disappointing. Best come when resteraunt is quiet. Staff are busier cleaning tables and seating new customers rather than serving food that is ready.

It’s perfectly cooked moist chicken served with different sauces. What can be better than that. This place is new and shiny and although a couple of the staff seem very new they are all nice and try to ensure we had all we needed. I can tell this will be a very popular place at Rushden Lakes. We will be back.

Very long queue outside over half an hour wait for food..the food was ok no sauce on it at all..the girl at the till wasnt helpful and wasnt listening to our order when trying to use our nandos card and it was very cramped in there.Very slow service overall won't come here again.

There was a large queue and a 15-20 minute wait for our table which was fine..when we ordered the till was empty ..we tried to tell the girl on the till we just wanted to claim what was on our nandos card which was a whole chicken and we just wanted to order sides She told us we cannot do this and we have to order first then she'll see what's on the card. There was a big back and forth going round in circles and our order ended up with a whole chicken, 2 half a chickens and about 4 sides! She would not listen and tried to argue with us .then we had to start our order again from scratch. All we wanted was two sides of chips and a drink and claim the whole chicken that was on our card! It didn't need to be that complicatedThe food then took way over half an hour to come out and arrived all on one plate so had to ask and wait for that to come our.. surely they would have known the order was for two people so I don't know why only 1 plate was brought out.Our table was also very cramped sitting next to another family my legs didn't even fit under the table.I will not be returning.

not the most amazing meal i’ve waved eaten but definitely would return,as someone who is not a fan of spice i still found it enjoyable

We visited the new Nando's in Rushden Lakes for the 1st time to see what it was like.Unfortunately, I am gluten free so we asked for a gluten free menu.I was told they did not have a specific gluten free menu and was told that they had a binder with all the menu listed items and their respective ingredients!I collected the binder which was huge! Every single item is indeed listed and inorder to find out what I could eat I had to trawl through each page. Needless to say I gave up. Shame on you Nando's!
