Great Lunchtime stop here. Today was made even better than usual by the manager, Chris, he really makes a difference. Always enjoyed a Nando’s but today it felt like more than a fast diner! Good food too, with lots of help getting GF service as well as extra effort to provide “Vusa” peri peri sauce! We’ll certainly be back and hope Chris is on shift. Thanks

Buckle up you're in for a ride. Went to Nando’s yesterday for lunch about 11.30 am. I went with 2 friends and their toddler, on arrival the place was fairly empty so we were excited, as our last visit to this branch it was packed and we had to wait for a table. On this visit we were seated straight away, happy days! My friends ordered through the app, while I popped up to the counter as I had a gift card to use from Christmas . The young dark haired girl took my order no problem & handed me my glass. My friends paid for their order before I’d made my order. After ten minutes another girl dropped off my friends 2 glasses for their drinks. (This will be an important detail later) After 20 mins my food had arrived and I started to slowly pick at my meal, not wanting to eat before them. After 45 minutes of them waiting for food with a fussy toddler, we noticed people that had arrived after us, had finished their meals and left the building. My friend went up to the front to enquire about their meals. The manager who had been MISSING for no less than half an hour emerged from the staff room and wrote down their order. Claiming it was a MYSTERY their order had been lost! If their order had been lost, how come they received glasses for their drinks? At this point I knew their food wasn’t ready so I started to eat my now cold meal. I’d noticed that the manager had quickly waddled off back to the staff room, to leave the young team members to deal with the increasing number of complaints by themselves. There was an older couple that got up to complain shortly after my friend had. And a young group of people that came to enquire about their meals too. All this was going on a the manager was nowhere to be seen. He wasn’t on the floor, and he wasn’t behind the pass, he was GONE!! These kids are on at least half his pay per hour and he has the cheek to go and hide from customers while the sh*t hits the fan. About 50 minutes after originally placing the order the childs meal and 1 side order arrived. I had finished my cold meal, which wasn’t checked back on and my plates weren’t cleared despite them being stacked up. After a further 10 minutes being sat there with just a kids meal and a now cold side order, they asked if the rest of the food was coming out. In the end they waited an hour and 15minutes for 2 mains 2 sides and a kids meal. It was a full hour after I received my meal, despite them ordering first. I just sat there watching them eat, like they watched me eat. Meanwhile people arrived, ate and left. The other complaints even had their meals first despite arriving after us. As if by magic, once all the complaints finally had their meals, can you guess ? Yep! The manager finally re-emerges and waddles from the back. Completely useless. What’s the point in a manager that doesn’t manage? The very least he could have done is go to the complaint tables, apologize, and check back on the food once it had arrived. No one ever came to our table to apologize or check everything was ok with the food. This is bottom of the barrel, bare minimum stuff I’m talking about here. How embarrassing for all those staff. They are at least half his age, probably in half his wage and working 10 times harder. Mistakes happen, but they don’t resolve themselves by hiding in the back. Your staff deserve better. Your customers deserve better.

I have visited this Nando’s several times, recently every time I attend it gets worse and worse. I visited in November and they had ran out of most of the menu only leaving sides and butterfly chicken available. Tonight they had nothing at all left to sell, they had ran out of everything of the menu, they had not ordered enough food to stay open to their opening times. The management at this place is an absolute shambles for the prices that are charged at Nando’s now they have to do better, slow service if you get any service followed by menu items missing consistently, to this time no menu at all meaning being turned away at the door. Management need to have a strong look at their priorities given that this was a Saturday night I cannot fathom how you could run out of everything on the menu. I won’t be back anytime soon

Overall a terrible experience today. I’m currently sat at the table as I write this. Family of 5, the starters came out as soon as I’d clicked the order button. The bread was cold no sooner had we taken a bite into the bread the mains came, the last offered to take them back to keep them warm, we munched between the houmous and halloumi sticks. Our main burgers were cold once I managed to grab someone’s attention she offered to replace them but I’d have to wait for them to be cooked fresh. So we waited longer for our burgers to come out than it has taken for the original starter and main to come. Generally not impressed with the service or quality of food

Worst nandos ever. Deliveries never arrive and you have to wait am hour for collections. Completely Unorganised

I visited here both in June 2019 and on 16 dec 2020. Both times I found staff to be attentive, professional and proactive in customer care. Nothing appeared too much trouble and both times the food was cooked quickly and tasted good. I also appreciated the manager letting me use the loo as I had no idea where the nearest one in town was, and in lockdown unsure if any would be open. humanity goes a long way. The only negative I saw was on 16 dec the storage where they must have kept takeaway orders was being opened and closed by a waiters foot.. I didn’t think this was appropriate even if food was kept in bags.

Ordered two beanie pitta to take out for lunch. The beanie burgers were not cooked. They were raw in the middle and were not heated through. It was mushy. Awful waisted £14.90. The chips were fine.

Right...what can I say about nandos Stafford? What an absolute crap service from both kitchen and front of house team! Chicken was dry...chips were warmish and it took 40 bloody minutes to get our food served to our table! Could get better service from a drug dealer than coming here! Well done stafford nandos you have lost a couple of customers for good now...wow

Perfect service plenty of seating and exactly what you want from a nandos took my girlfriend for a date and were very happy with the food and the environment

James was really friendly, and went above and beyond to look after us. Food was tasty and well cooked. Surprisingly efficient service given that we arrived slap bang in the middle of lunch on a Saturday.Well done Nando’s stafford*also, the drinks machine ran out and was immediately tended to by a friendly/polite waitress

Really didnt enjoy our visit, slow service, some staff obvioulsy didnt want to be there. The food was ok but I have visited better Nandos and would recommend going elsewhere!

Standard Nando’s fayre. Nice environment by the river. Staff are efficient and friendly but you could be anywhere with a Nando’s.

Had 1/4 chicken which cost £4.60 .. it came out as an anemic chicken leg covered in lemon (I could have bought a full chicken from Tesco for less) I had a bowl of spiced rice for £2.60 it was a bit tasteless.. it was served on this big plate and looked lost!! Sorry not value for money and the taste just wasn't there very bland.

Absolutely poor service and food! The lads in the kitchen were so unprofessional I think they forget you can hear everything they are saying. Chicken wasn’t like normal Nando’s it was over cooked and dry. We upgraded one of the meals to large which came with garlic bread and myPartner didn’t receive it until we had nearly finished which wasn’t much of a problem... the waitress put it down and it was so burnt ... when I said we don’t want it Because it was burnt she said before we even said that ‘ I know what yourGoing to say’ which baffled me as To why she would serve It if she knew. She then took it away and no apology no offer on a refund or maybe even something complimentary ... I then had to ask the manager for a refund on the upgrade. Actually embarrassing the lads were so smug And made me feel so uncomfortable when ordering by the counter, would never write reviews but I feel I should for this.

Last night I took a group of 27 to Nando's, having reserved the table a couple weeks before, both when reserving the table and last night the staff were amazing, friendly, and well organised! The food tasted great, there was no mistakes or incorrect meals, the atmosphere was friendly, the restaurant was clean and well look after. It was a great evening out!

Very small portions of pretty boring tasteless overpriced food. First and last visit to a Nando’s. Service was excellent though!

We eat in Nando’s fairly regularly as love their food, atmosphere and value. My daughter also uses them regularly with her friends as it feels a little more special than other food places geared to their age group. My recent visit to the Stafford Nando’s fell short of the mark though and following an unsatisfactory response from head office I am disappointed. I ordered the Mediterranean salad and added a chicken ‘breast’ As you can see from the photos the salad is lovely, very fresh and plentiful. The chicken ‘slice’ however was far from satisfactory. The attitude of the Manager was unfriendly and very patronising and it is this reason that I am giving such a low score. Love Nando’s but will seek out alternatives in future for my meals out.

My partner and I visited here at the weekend after we both decided we fancied a Nando’s as we hadn’t had one for years! When we arrived we were soon shown to a table and within minutes we had chosen what we wanted and had ordered at the bar (we were rather hungry). The total for 2 drinks, a starter and 2 mains came to £30 which I thought was pretty good to be honest. We shared the humous and Pitta bread for our starter which never fails to impress and then I had a chicken burger with 2 sides for main. Everything was very tasty and the service was very efficient. It’s the perfect place to go for quick food to start your evening but it’s definitely not a place to relax and spend your evening here. From pulling on to the multi-storey car park to paying for our parking was 52 minutes so that shows how quick the turnaround is here. Nevertheless I cannot fault the food or the service we received

A friendly team and lovely manager. Meal was cooked and served quickly. We were not a fan of the chips so swapped them for garlic bread. I tried the new spinach with spicy sauce - it’s spicy but nice. The halloumi pitta is my fave and it didn’t disappoint. Thanks for a smile and chat!

Walked in for table of 2, friendly enough to get a table although like a lot of areas wasn’t to clean and needed a good wipe, bit like the floor.

Having been here several times during our lunch break, we've always had a great experience. We pre- order and our food turns up within a few mins of arriving. Not today we had to wait nearly half an hour. As again we were on our lunch break we had to rush it down - wouldn't mind but it wasn't even busy. It certainly didn't make it a pleasant experience when we were there as a special team lunch. I would be cautious if any one is going during their lunch break. Will know for next time - Shame :(

We had always loved Nandos, except for this time, we ordered food and had to wait for almost an hour to be served, where as next table to us came after us and were served much more earlier than us. they were finished by the time we were served. Also the food served was not as we liked and asked for.

It was nice and quiet when we dropped in and the service and food were the usual standard for a Nandos.

Can’t beat a Nando’s for a quick sit down meal. Not everyone wants fast food served through a window of drive through but a lot prefer to sit and eat at a table.

Nando’s not only has a couple of options available for veggies, vegans, and people who want to eat healthier, the selections are also very tasty as well. The Beanie, Supergreen, Portobello Mushroom, and Sweet Potato and Butternut burgers are fantastic!

Fantastic Nando’s! Always get good service and fresh food. Service isn’t always super fast but the food does make up for it.

Been to other nandos before never had to wait so long for food. With resteraunt half empty it's pretty poor service

Heard a lot about Nandos so thought we'd give it a go. Arrived around 9 on a Saturday evening parked on the multistorey car park which cost £1. Seated immediately and explained the menu. Very good service here. Ordered at the till and food was served very quickly. Loved the food very nice. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We will be back.

Our little boy has been asking to go to Nando’s for a while. Saturday lunch time we took him. Service was slow even though not that busy food average. I ordered a chicken salad as trying to be health . This was very poor basically a bowl of lettuce with dressing and very little chicken at all. Very disappointing.

As always you can't beat a cheeky Nandos, always good quality and efficient service. Staff on the ball and service good.

Standard menu, nice surroundings and a pleasant view. With major chains you know what you are getting, this is the same. No surprises not major problems. If you like Nando's then no reason why this is not worth a visit.

Never really liked this Nando’s although I kept going as my boyfriend likes it but during my last visit I found a finger nail on my plate which was disgusting clearly they need to sort their hygiene out I will not visit again

We have gone here at least once a month since opening, great value & always loved the food here .. don’t know what It is that keeps drawing us back ....

Great food as ever, poor quality service. All the staff in there are very young and don’t seem to smile

When they get it right, the meal is wonderful but been a few times and portion sizes have differed. Also inconsistent service on several occasion. They got the order wrong and could not have been more accommodating however more recently they served me a portion of rotten super grain and really could not give a monkey, no apology or option for a refund.

Nando’s is just Nando’s, very nice food at a very expensive price, good service. Just questionable when you ask if it’s worth the money.

This was our first visit to Nando's and we were not disappointed. We were on a shopping trip in Stafford and decided to stop here for lunch. My wife chose the chicken wraps with a mild sauce and I chose the chicken 'butterfly burger with the hot sauce. We both had chips as an extra, and the 'top up for free' Seven-Up Zero' was good value.

We didn't have a reservation and were seated strait away on a Friday evening, the place was busy but there is lots of seating that's fab. The food was tasty, and the service was good. We will dine here again.

My butterfly burger was tasty and quite well presented. My vanilla ice cream dessert was very disappointing; I expected 2 or 3 scoops of top quality Portuguese gelado in a sundae glass; what I received was a small 75g carton of very ordinary Italian ice cream. My drink was a delicious peach Rubro, a fruit drink manufactured in South Africa.

We have had lunch in Nando's on many occasions.

As far as tasty chicken, fast service & great prices go you can’t beat a Nando’s. The restaurant is always clean & the staff very helpful. The food is served quickly & my family have no complaints. We regularly visit Nando’s 🙂👍🏼

My work colleagues & i visited for some dinner one evening. Upon enquiring, we were advised that none of the chicken would be suitable because it is delivered to the restaurant pre-marinated (& the marinade contains gluten)....as the order for a side order was being placed, the staff member serving then asked if we wanted any of the starters despite acknowledging that none of those options were gluten free either!

This place is the absolute best! Fantastic Food! The team here are so happy and friendly they made our experience GREAT!

Such a unique and tasty dining experience. Filled with friendly staff and amazing food. I love spicy food so this was perfect.

If you like chicken then this is the pace to be, but other food is available. Once you have worked out the system then it works quite well. You are not rushed. You eat when you are ready. It is great for sitting for a while having a drink and chat then order food when you are ready. Even when busy service is quite good. The staff are friendly. It's not just for the young as all age groups frequent the place. If you like eating with your fingers then this is up your street. Messy but nice. I have rated as average. If there was a good category then I would tick that.

Came here with my family and friends for my birthday meal spent over 500 quid and my meal was a mess and absolutely disgusting plus my friends and family said and a quota "what a F%^&*ing Shambles of a restaurant" DONT GO HERE

I didn't know about ordering food at Nando's so sat at my table for 10 minutes before figuring it out! After laughing at myself I went and ordered the food which arrived very quickly, and was absolutely delicious. I can see why this chain is so popular, as it's very reasonably priced. Service was very good even though they were pretty busy too.

16 of us visited following a wedding weekend Great service. Food ordered and came very quickly. As usual tasted lovely. Would recommend to anyone who like great tasting spices on their chicken

Great service and great chicken but the unlimited drinks are awful really watery and disgusting such a shame when you have extra hot sauce and want to cool down with a nice drink.

Went for a take away on Thursday. Ordered online for collection at 7.15. We got there at 7.15 to find the order not ready. 20 minutes later they finally came and have us the order and said they had checked it. We are now in the habit of checking it over. We checked it and a whole meal was missing so the girl clearly hadn't checked it! So we had to wait another 10 minutes as they gave our meals to someone else.. quality of food was alright but not great.

A pretty good experience for Nandos... quick service, food was decent, a lot nicer than the ones in London

Went to nando s tonight after a visit to the Hanley branch.Got to say I was a bit disappointed as I had to send my meal back as the beanie burger was cold.The waitress came back with a lame excuse .I did get a replacement ,but no one checked to see if that was ok or even came near us.It hasn't put me off other branches ,but Stafford near to up their game.

After the last take away we ordered here I was sceptical but it was much better. All Food was there and was very fast. We ordered at 5.20 to pick up at the earliest time of 5.35, we didn't believe it would be ready by then. We got there and they were just finishing it off. So they were close to being on time. Impressed.

Have to admit I have never been a fan of Nando's in the past (visited one in Bristol) however I stand corrected.

Love nandos. Gluten free again but it's decent food with lots of choice. I love the new chicken thighs. Easy for diet mode as well as you can have sweet potato chips, ratatouille etc. The food here is what you make of it. Thoroughly enjoy each time I go x

We went as a family for sons birthday. It was our first time at a Nando's and our waitress did not explain the ordering process to us so we watched what other customers did. When I did go up to order I got one of the spices wrong on one dish so within one minute of taking the order I asked if I could alter it. The young man wrote the changes down but when the food came out they hadn't make the change so we swapped it within the party. We were told there would be a delay on the one item which was fine as we had ordered a starter and we're in no particular rush.

First visit to Nando's in Stafford with family members. Had an enjoyable evening, only had to wait 10 minutes for a table, and after ordering our meal it was served to us within 15 minutes, was impressed at they were busy. Could not fault the food it was lovely and tasty and the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The decor in the restaurant was warm and inviting, will definitely be returning.

first visit and wow. food was fantastic staff very friendly and they check that you are ok and if your enjoying the food . service is amazing .. so went back for a second time and same service .

Ordered take away only at 5.30pm, selected the time to pick it up which was 6.15pm, giving them 45 minutes to get it ready, plenty of time you would have thought. We got there at 10 past 6, the cashier 'checked us in for collection' as she said and said it will be ready in a few minutes.. 20 minutes later we were finally called to collect the order. In this time, we could see into the kitchen and the heigene was terrible, they were using serving tongues for getting down things they couldn't reach, and for pressing the screens etc. We finally got our order, she read it back to us and it was missing the coleslaw, 2nd time this has happened! She collected that then we asked for mayonaise, she gave us 2 pots of about a teaspoon of mayonaise.. made us sign the receipt (never done that before) got the food home, corn on the cob was burnt at both ends, and the chicken wings didn't taste like they had medium sauce on at all! The take away service needs improving!

Got a table and ordered food. food came but no plates, also my husband had ordered creamy mash instead of sweat pot mash. When it dames my husband said, oh that's wrong, i'm sorry she said that's what your ordered and if you want to re order you will have to join the que and she pointed to it which had about 10 people in it. She then walked away, i think her name was Jenifer or Lydnsey. she didn't stick around to offer any help. Was really dissapointed in the service.

Me partner and I went for lunch yesterday and upon ordering our food we were told there is a half an hour wait on food which we didn't mind. 50 MINUTES pass and 3 tables that ordered after us got their meals and we were still waiting for ours. So I asked a young waiter how long our meals would be to which he replied "were you not told there's a wait on food?" Quite rudely. So I began to explain that yes we were told half an hour wait and we ordered 50 minutes ago. 3 tables have received their meals and we ordered before them, he then went to check with the chef (who was also young) and didn't get back to us just carried on with his shift! The place is run by young kids, there needs to be some more experienced adults in control.

We visited lunchtime and staff were very pleasant. It wasn't particularly busy and as normal, good decor. Food arrived very quickly, too quickly for a relaxed lunch, and although we didn't feel rushed to leave, a waiter tried to remove the plates before my friend had finished eating, and the floor was being swept around us. It was like being in a fast food chain burger bar ( you know the one!) Other Nando's we've visited have felt much more like 'eating out' proper, rather than a fast food restaurant experience. Having said that, the food was very good and we enjoyed our meals.

They grill chicken. Not exactly mind blowing! Over £100 for 3 adults & 4 kids. Food was average. Waitress was nice enough but manager has a lot to learn about customer service! Certainly won't be going back. I don't like to moan but I'm smart enough to know when I've been mugged off so be warned peeps.

Great location by the river and shops. Has a nice vibe inside too. The staff were lovely and very welcoming when we arrived. So much so that we even filled out the feedback form. Food was quick too.

Ok, so the title kind of gave this away...but in all honesty, when you've been to a few Nando's around the UK (Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Manchester, London, Stoke...) you get used to what they are like...almost always having to wait ages, atmosphere all busy and "rushed"...but you know what, the Stafford one is completely different!

Most nandos I've been to, I've got my food quick. I've visited Stafford Nandos plenty of times. I will not be visiting again after today. This is twice it has happened now. Waiting forever for our food. When I asked someone who worked there were it was she said it was on the grill. People who ordered before me were getting their food before me.

You know what you are getting with Nando's - chicken My first visit to Stafford and it was a good one. Efficient, pleasant staff. Über fast service AND when I'd stupidly ordered the wrong starter, they swapped it to save my blushes. We WILL return

Hardly anyone in, on the occasions I have been in. Which results in a quick turn around. Had my food out in about 10 minutes, the decor is really groovy and smart, along with comfortable seats. Can't fault the place, but then never had bad food or service from Nando's as a whole.

I love a Nando's and glad we finally have one in Stafford. It's just what you expect and can be used as formal informal family friends date whatever. Been 5 times since it opened and apart from once have always been able to get a seat although it's always busy.
