Frankie and Benny's in Stafford

The service was very poor. We gave up waiting for a dessert menu, and explained that's why we were leaving, but the person who took payment just smiled! Two of us are gluten free, no problems with cross contamination. However, the salad bowl was very overpriced and the salmon was very pale and lacking taste. There is no point in eating out, if I can make something that simple better myself.

I was trying to make this review via the Frankie’s email link, but it wouldn’t let me change the date - typical Restaurant Group incompetence of course. However, what I wanted to say was: the service, food and all round experience at this restaurant is always simply outstanding. It’s rare that you get a proper restaurant experience post Covid, as there is such an over reliance on technology, to the point where you hardly see a server - let alone get asked if you want more drinks; or if everything is ok with the food etc. But at Frankie’s in Trentham, they just get it right. They know what they are doing, and do it great. We will be back soon!

No issues whatsoever for us, looking at recent reviews has us pondering but right by our premier in hotel and the fact our one in Swindon has gone we gave it a go. My Brooklyn Egg bake was amazing, NY breakfast was good as were the pancakes. Thomas was attentive and was there when we needed him.

Friendly staff. One of our party was gluten free and options were very limited, basically swapping out the pasta for gluten free variety, which was very undercooked. Unfortunately there must have been cross contamination with the sauce and this member of our group was extremely ill for 24hrs. Not a good experience and will not be returning.

Good food but waiting a long time (40 mins 3pm) for 2 courses whilst Just Eat couriers were serviced! A blight on normal customers wanting a quick lunch.

Very disappointed with my recent visit here. Had to wait a very long time for our drinks,had to wait even longer for starters & then there was an even longer wait for our mains. The reason is because this restaurant prioritises online orders. Time & again Deliveroo or Ubereats people were coming in to collect orders that were all stacked up in the kitchen area. Meanwhile the people in the restaurant who had gone out if their way to come here were made to wait. Several people around us complained,nobody seemed to be happy & everyone just looked fed up with the poor service. You need to do better & whoever is managing this place needs to step up & put the people sat in the restaurant first!

Came for a birthday dinner with my friend food was lovely and staff are amazing. At the end of our meal the staff put on a birthday tune and brought her a brownie pudding with a candle and song it was such a surprise for my friend she really enjoyed it. Thank you to all the team
