Typical Costa food and drink but the service was not typical – it was terrible. Only one oven saw the wait for hot food being excessive and the way of working means that there is no way to ensure the correct order was taken by the correct person. One guy seemed to be waiting for ages and when my order (2 x Cumberland Sausage Toasties) was placed on the counter, he thought it may have been his. When I told him what I had, he mentioned that he had been waiting 15 minutes and still his order had not arrived. The Barista hearing this, checked and discovered that the order had been fulfilled but “someone must have picked it up in error”. Whilst the offer of replacement was quick, no offer of more coffee was made as the initial cups were either finished or cold. Take a tip from Starbucks – see how they handle queuing. As for the food. Just the same old Costa offerings.

Was served by a short blonde haired lady, we asked her what a ruby hot chocolate was and she told us it was just a pink hot chocolate. It was a good job the blonde haired lady with glasses making the coffees told us it was berry flavoured as my daughter is highly allergic to berries.

Stopped at M6 South Road chef services today. Whilst purchasing a couple of mocha coffees I was served by Rachel. She stood out as very friendly and helpful. Good to see someone who appears happy in their job. Thank you Rachel for making us smile.

Stopped off for a coffee at the Costa Coffee on the M6 at Stafford services. Good coffee, but poor service, they wouldn't take their own rubbish back - using the excuse of Covid - but don't provide any bins at all. Really not good service.

Stopped off at Costa Coffee on the M6, and brought a nice if expensice cafe latte with Xmas flavourings. Trainee on the till, who whilst learing the ropes was polite and professional. Nice Xmas selection of the Xmas Lattes!

We stopped in for a Costa on our way back down south after attending a wedding in Bradford, services were fairly quiet on a very wet September Sunday morning. Great Costa, the member of staff serving at the till assisted the server making my drink which was a soya hot chocolate and the server reminded her that it was a soya hot chocolate and she'd obviously made it with normal milk so promptly disposed of my drink and my order was rectified.

We often take a break here when staying at the adjacent Days Inn. Although slightly more expensive than the usual Costa the standard is as good as usual and variety of stuff on offer is adequate. Service is friendly, helpful and reasonably efficient.

Stopped off for a quick drink, Costa is a regular choice for me. Food and drinks on offer were obviously the standard stuff but the service from the young female staff stood out; friendly, smiling and efficient, great to see. Very nice outdoor seating area too.

Travelling to Wigan we stopped at Stafford, a well sited service area which includes outside seating and a lake, looking great on a sunny day. The main Costa has a large seating area and is close to the lake. Unsurprisingly it was busy when we were there, but a good tip is the second, smaller counter service only Costa outlet, just inside the entrance. This usually has a much smaller queue, as was the case. Friendly efficient service, and all the usual products are available.

Typical Costa offering. great coffee at reasonable value. The coffee has its own unique taste at Costa. Very good service as one would expect. Everything clean and very hygienic.

We sat outside to drink our coffees as we had the dog with us. There was a short queue but service was swift. There is a nice area which you can reach by walking from inside the cafe or from the main parking area along a footpath through a grassed area . This is probably for those with dogs! It was nice and relaxing because it's on wooden decking and next to a small pond that has a fountain and ducks in it. This was on one of the hottest days of the year, I could have stayed here for quite some time.

The strawberry blond assistant stood with her hand on her hip whole time serving me.....no sign of a smile or any manners, made me feel i was bothering her, never gave us milk, went to ask and she was rude, definitely hates her job, so why work in a place where you should be happy to the customers...i visit costas everywhere...may not bother now.

Called in today for a lunch , usually I have a morning Cappuchino and delicious teacake but today went for a Cappuchino and Cheese and onion toasty which was delicious! Came with an ample pot of Coleslaw and salad Lovely Crusty bread, I also had a "small" glass of the House Ros which was one of the nicest I have tasted and fully complemented the meal.

The website states you are dog friendly!!!! I think not..a miniature dachshund puppy was asleep on my husbands knees and after a drink was purchased he was told to put the dog on the floor!!!! All I can say is it was a good job I wasn't there..the puppy was not on the furniture and nowhere near the table..the floor was much worse because she was jumping up.on the chair to feel safe!!!! Never ever will we return, most definitely not dog friendly.

Not eaten here for a while. However, we decided to give it a go. Two lattes and shared a fish n chips. Absolutely superb, crispy batter, moist fish and crunchy fat chips. The coffees were piping hot. Excellent food and good value. Staff friendly and obviously take pride in their work. Positive changes here 👍

The Shrewsbury Arms is one of those traditional pubs with lots of nooks, crannies and little snugs. Add a roaring, real fire and it is cosiness at its best. There were the ubiquitous tellies on the walls for sport but, in much more traditional vein, there was also a large selection of board games for those of that persuasion. We were happy enough just to enjoy our beers by the fire, which felt particularly luxurious on such a freezing cold evening. Service was nice and this is a really good pub.
