Nando's in Windsor and Maidenhead

I visted Nandos, Windsor for the very first time on Friday 12/4/24, with my family (x8 of us). I was most impressed with the venue and the attentiveness of the staff in general. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and politeness from Ahsan upon entering and shown to our table after he ensured it was clean and given our menus. Our order was taken by an absolutely welcoming and most professional young lady, named Tasha (Natasha?). She ensured our order and a gluten order was done as requested. She checked in with us to ensure everything was ok and that the food and service was to our satisfaction. She answered any concerns we had regarding the cooking of the gluten food ordered; which was very reassuring. When the food came Flemming ensured the chicken was grilled to perfection and another young man (dark haired, charming) ensured we had our cutlery and enough tissues which was great to have because of my little grandchildren. Upon finishing our delicious meal, the lovely Ruzalia in passing wasted no time in ensuring our table was cleared which was great because it stopped my grandchildren from dipping fingers back into the plates or playing with the cutlery. A great experience was had by all. We enjoyed the meal, the service and the ambience of the venue. Thanks to Tasha for being a great host, alongside her team 🙂 which helps greatly when entering a restaurant for the first time. When next in Windsor, I WOULD definitely visit again. 🙂

You either order food from the app or go up to counter to order. I ordered peri peri mild chicken breasts with 2 sides. I very much enjoyed it, chicken was a little overcooked but everything was flavored nicely. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere and a friendly staff.

Not too buys when I entered, located on the high street facing the castle. Great staff good service, dependable and reliable good value

Nice food and good service. The seating is also nice and spread out -it doesn’t feel stuffy at all. All orders need to be done through an app but it is very straight forward.

Cuando quieres comida de buena calidad a un buen precio, tiene que ser Nandos. Tenía el plato de comida con los chips picantes y la ensalada de col, y el pollo con sabor a Mango y lima. Solo quedan los huesos.

We’ve been to many Nando’s and this one is probably one of the better ones. Staff are helpful and generally get you seated quickly. On our most recent visit, however, we were very disappointed that they had no rice at all. Come on, should this be allowed to happen?

Called here after visiting the castle it was packed and were told we,d have about a 20 min wait we agreed and browsed a menu the queue at the till was long and thought we,d have to wait ages for food shortly after we were seated and i went to order to find the queue had gone I paid and collected drinks about 15 mins later our food arrived it was well cooked and presented I had a butterfly chicken burger which was quite plain but very very tasty with spicy rice I really enjoyed it, hubby had a chicken burger with bbq sauce and cheese can't remember the exact name but he loved it and had a side of fries would of loved dessert but we were heading home and needed to set off. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Of all the nandos I've been too this has gotta be the best. The food was on the table before I'd grabbed the sauces. lovely atmosphere, great staff, quick service and was really handy that we could park nearby on the street and it was close to the legoland hotel. Also nice that it was right next to Windsor castle so we had an evening wander after our meal

It took us 45 min to be seated at 5pm and the staff was not helpful and practically rude. I couldn’t understand the girl who took my order bc she spoke so softly and she seemed very exasperated by me kindly asking her to repeat what she said. The food was alright — not the best, not the worst. Overall, a very underwhelming experience.

Th place is modern - large and you order , pay and take a seat the food is brought to you - its menu is large - chicken , beef , salads etc - the spice added can be strong or mild you choose - it an OK place the staff have trouble with English and the food is just OK - not great but OK - I understand they have a lots of these Nanados in Europe - this was my first visit - and I guess my last - no wow - and very basic.
