Nando's in Stockton-on-Tees

This was an incredible experience I came here on my own before the cinema and the staff were very friendly and helpful food was very quick coming out and it tasted incredible would definitely recommend and would go again

We visited here whilst up in Middlesbrough as Nando’s is our go to place for allergies. And here they didn’t disappoint! Fantastic manager who came over to our table and then took our order at the till. She oversaw the cooking of the allergy meals and brought them over to our table. Really friendly staff and good atmosphere in the restaurant. Restaurant clean and tidy. Meals hot and came out in good time. Toilets clean and tidy. Lovely family meal out.

Succulent chicken, nice and spicy. Loaded chips were also great but special thanks to the manager Jamie (or James) who went out of his way to accommodate my partner who has an uncommon food allergy. Thank you so much.

Not very busy when we were in.food was nice and quite quick, staff where friendly. Was a typical Nando’s. If you like chicken and chips with some spiciness can’t go wrong.

I found the Staff to be pleasant and attentive even though they were busy. I like Nando’s because the food is so simple and fairly cheap. We had a whole Chicken between us with 3 sides plus a bowl of olives for starters. The 3 sides we choose were Corn Cob, Chilli Chips and Coleslaw. My friend had the Peach Rooibos Tea whilst I just had water. At about £25 for 2, this is a bargain.

Top quality and friendly table service! Really made the experience a fab day! Lois the waitress serving our table was super friendly. Couldn’t have been any better!

This has got to be one of the most uncomfortable restaurant visits I have ever had. My husband and I were seated at our table and I had begun to stand up when one of the waitresses bumped into me, resulting in my drink being spilled on me. I would never feel angry over a mistake but the waitress carried on without even apologising or offering to help. I attempted to get her attention each time she passed me and she ignored me both times. She had no name tag on so I do not know her name but I have never been so uncomfortable at a restaurant before in my life. I wouldn’t recommend this specific Nando restaurant to anyone. Absolutely awful experience that ruined mine and my partners mood the whole night.

Visited today for the first time. Could not fault the service in any way. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Plenty of choice on the menu. Food delivered quickly and extremely tasty. The only criticism is that they don’t do hot drinks. Well worth a visit and other similar establishments could learn where service is concerned.

It’s been a while since we had a Nando’s in fact April2022 so we went out for tea well nothing has changed. First class food, first class service and first class friendly staff who go the extra mile perhaps we won’t leave it as long next time

First time I’ve ever had Nando’s . I was a little overwhelmed to start with . The greeter showed us to our table in a very busy restaurant. My partner is Gluten intolerant and we were reassured this was catered for . When I went to order the manager was called to process the order and ensure that no gluten was involved. The food arrived very promptly. My partner was searching for Mayonnaise as she found the sauces on offer too hot . An attentive member of staff saw her and offered Mayonnaise which was brought to our table. I like hot and my food was perfect. My partner likes more medium and she was delighted with her food . The whole experience was excellent and the staff really went above and beyond. Very happy customer, will definitely return

Visited yesterday with a friend, service was quick and efficient and our server Kieran went above and beyond for us, please give a huge thank you to him he’s brilliant. Will definitely be back

Not too bad a branch of Nando's but will be glad when we can queue inside on what was quite a cold evening with nothing much to do outside The food was the typical Nando's fayre

Took the family for a last minute Saturday evening meal. It was great. A bit of a edit to get a table but worth it. Polly was brilliant. She has a big future in customer service.

Came here for a meal before the cinema, great service but however was only taking orders via the app. Took us about 30 minutes to order as the app was really slow and kept crashing. Also the ordering system not great hod forbid older people or couples who aren’t great with technology. Also the buns on the burger was like a brick other than that good.

Scanned QR code to join virtual queue and told 25-35 minutes and when it got down to 1 minute it suddenly said our wait time had been extended back to 25 minutes?????? Needless to say we didn't eat there!!! We have tried twice to eat there and both times unsuccessful....time to give them a wide berth me thinks!!!

This was our first visit to Nando’s since before COVID-19 & lockdown. Also our first visit to this location. On arrival we was told that a table would be around 30 minutes but they would text when it was ready. We got the text in about 10 minutes. We arrived and was told the rules regarding the COVID restrictions. You had to order via your mobile which we tried 3 times but would loose the order and have to start again. In the end I was allowed to order at the counter. The food came and it was ok but I’d had better at other branches. The staff were all very helpful and the restaurant was clean.

Were told to wait 5 minutes to be seated while there were loads of tables available. Then we were told we had the pick of tables. Was just a bit weird.Food was good, typical Nando's. We really enjoyed the food. Staff seemed OK.Run of the mill Nando's.

We should've known that it was pricey when there were on 4 people in we were handed a card with some meals on they were all chicken and expensive if you wanted salad that was extra if you wanted fries etc they were all extra so for two of you it would cost over 50 pounds not impressed at all so we went somewhere else instead

Webt for tea with my boyfriend. Crammed us in so close to 2 other couples it was uncomfortable. The waitress who served us was a little sarcastic when we didnt have our table number and the table wobbled throughout the full meal. We tried ti stuff it with napkins but it didnt work. The chicken was... ok rest of the food wasnt great. Was still hungry when i left. Wouldnt recommed.

Good quality food. Service was good. Chicken was well flavoured. Good value for money. Family visited and there was something on the menu for all of us.

Annoyingly overbearing music. Coleslaw and garlic bread lacked taste. Fillet steak was under sized for its price. However friendly staff.

we all know its just chicken & chips but we sometimes forget to acknowledge these ubiquitous stores! never let you down, clean, modern, efficient, tasty chicken!

First visit to Nando’s Stockton. Busy Thursday evening. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Food as usual very nice and with the NHS discount even better. Service was however a bit slow, especially the sweet the Mrs ordered , it took an age!

Ordered a side of halloumi to come with my main meal. Never came, mentioned to two different staff members. One said it was ‘on the grill’ and the other said she’ll ‘find out’. Still waiting around after our meal, unfortunately we had other places to be so left. Very sloppy staff! I would never visit this Nandos again.

Always got to queue. Queue for your table. Queue for your order. Queue for your drink. Etc. Noodle arms says the food was nice and the halloumi starter was particularly good. Why must I queue? Why don’t Nandos do table service!?

Went to Nando’s at Teesside Park. Have never been before and didn’t know what to expect. First impressions count and I saw a member of staff cleaning a table by simply brushing all the food onto the floor, spraying the table top, quick wipe down and the next couple sat down with their feet in the previous occupants food scraps. I saw this repeated at two other tables and only at one did they actually sweep the floor. We were shown to a table which felt sticky but we thought that was to match the sticky floor which needed a good clean. The food we ordered was tasty and the chicken was properly cooked. To sum up, the place felt grubby and in need of a good clean so no ten from Len but it does get a one from Don because at least the chicken was cooked. Won’t be going back. Better places to eat for the same or less money.

I've been to Nandos, Teesside Park several times before however of late its has gone rapidly downhill.In the last 6 months I've been served pink chicken through to tough over cooked chicken however the staff have always resolved the matter when brought to their attention however it shouldn't be served in the first place.Today however I thought we would give the poace one more chance as we were over that way.Family of 4, not that busy really, told to take a seat as there would be a wait of about 10 minutes.More and more people arrived, groups of 2, 3 and 4 and all told to take a seat due to the wait. It wasn't long before it became clear that everyone who arrived after us including the larger of the groups were getting seated before us, yep we had been forgotten about.Absolutely appalling customer service, at the point of realising we had been overlooked there was no one about to tell so we left and took our custom elsewhere.I certainly wont be heading back there.I cant speak for the other nando's in the area but this one needs a massive change.

Very impressed with the Nando’s guy with the beard today who dealt with large unruly family in a clear direct manner he should be in every restaurant OH ! and the food was great

Me and my wife decided to visit last night and was told it was a twenty minute wait however it was really busy inside so was expected to wait outside in the freezing cold!!!! My wife said we will just quickly pop to Morrison's (2 minute walk away) to grab an item we had forgot to get earlier and would be back in 10 mins to which we were told you can't do that and your request for a table will be cancelled. So told them dont bother we will go elsewhere(which we did and really enjoyed) so end of the day it was their loss not ours. After ther reception girls attitude we will not be back!!!!

Came in to have a quick bite to eat. Sadly I eat quicker then my partner, which led to staff member trying to clear my table before he had finished eating. When I toldtoldtthe Waitress I didn't want it cleared cos she was still eating and that it's rude to do so she argurd with me Tel me that what the management had told her. I'm sorry but it's bad educate to do so and was shocked that this was even tried to do so let alone argue with a customer about it. Don't think I will return

Now you either like Nando’s or you don’t, I personally like it. I like the food as you always get what you order and it’s always tasty. I enjoy the laid back system of ordering; and its with you fairly quickly.I took the family here for a birthday get together and I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mark and the rest of the staff for been so helpful and attentive but most of all from the friendliness of their welcome and the positive attitude throughout our visit.What a good night.

Came today. Waited literally 3 minutes for a table. Food came very quick. You always know what to expect from here. Only fault was the coke was flat and tried both machines

We love Nando’s, we go a lot. However this one is awful, I’ve been 3 times and always the same so I feel justified in writing thisThe place is always so noisy and if you have the misfortune to be seated on that bench that looks like some sort of dinosaur exhibit, expect kids to be jumping and running on the back of it meaning you are constantly moving whilst trying to eat your dinner. Kids just run wild around the restaurant and in the toilets screaming.You queue to be seated, then to order, then to get your drinks, it’s crazy in there. I asked for a glass of water and was given a chewed up plastic kids cup, no ice left in the machine.The food is fine, but that’s about it. I feel so bad for the staff, it must be an awful place to work.

Impromptu saturday tea-time visit with the restaurant absolutely rammed and a queue of people already waiting. Despite the worrying signs, we were actually seated after only a short wait and our food order also arrived fairly promptly, so no complaints there! Whilst the Nandos menu has loads of great options on it, the cut down children's menu really works for the little ones - and similarly, the sharing platter on the main menu offers pretty good value too. In summary, the food was spot on as expected and the bill was about right. Despite other reviews reporting that the service they received was poor, we can report the opposite.

Had to wait 40 mins for a table, they don't allow you to pre-book your table which is ridiculous! They ran out of chicken on the bone, (the thing they are famous for) which meant another 40min wait for food.

For take away order: the staff took the order and got it wrong.phoned the restaurant and explained the situation. the manager said he will send out a courtsey voucher and this was more than 3month ago and still haven't got it. Never going back!!

Visited here before going to the cinema. The food is always served quickly and really tasty. Would recommend the Chicken Butterfly or the Double Chicken Wrap. Will be going back again soon.

Got seated straight away. The food came fast and was the usual top quality and standards. The staff here are a credit to the business. All ways helpful and polite. A very enjoyable experience.

Seated very quickly even tho they said 20 min wait. You know exactly what your getting when you come here. Kids enjoyed it & the food was hot & tasty and everyone enjoyed it xx

Visited today with my sister and daughter. Place was clean and tidy and we were seated quickly. Menu is standard across the chain and cooked quickly. You place your order at the tills and collect your own cutlery and soft drinks/sauces from the stand. Decent place for a quick meal.

My first visit and I wasn’t disappointed perfectly cooked best sauces and peri peri chips were amazing fast and friendly and get ya own drinks which the kids took full advantage of definitely go again I even went to Asda afterwards and bought the Nando’s mayonnaise’s omg

We love Nando’s food but considering it hasn’t been open that long, it’s very untidy inside and full of screaming kids. Definitely not a place to relax.

My wife and I have visited this eatery many times since it opened,about 6/7 months ago,and what a little gem it is.Even when very busy the wait for your food isn't overly long and the food is first class.Staff are very friendly and efficient.

Went this lunchtime (10-10-17 2pm)Ordered meal for 2, whole chicken large fries and 2 drinks.All the chicken was fine apart from one leg which was clearly UNDER COOKED and not edible.After finishing the meal apart from the UNDER COOKED leg, we pointed it out, I was told it's not under UNDER COOKED, but infact (and I promise you this is the truth)It's a Lazy chicken and it's just a fatty piece.I'll give this branch a miss in the future.

as my title suggests, you know what you are getting from NandosAs far as chain food goes its probably one of the better ones.ordered the chicken burger with The Extra Extra Hot sauce, which since I stopped smoking seems to have got even hotter, with the fries and peas, and my partner had the wrap with lemon and herb sauce, accompanied with chips and coleslaw.2 drinks and food for under £40. decent meal. nothing amazing but does the business

We are regular Nando goer's. Had the full platter at Teesside park and the chicken was lovely this time. Really enjoyable.

I visited this restaurant tonight with friends intending to get a suitable meal for my coeliac and was amazed with the choice and service I received! A member of staff kindly said he would find out about gluten free options and the manager came over with an allergen book and was amazing in helping me with my order sitting next to me and explaining fully! I found this service amazing as I am a newly diagnosed coeliac and aware of cross contamination risks and items not being fully gluten free but was fully assured on my order and also told to mention i was gf at till so further precautions could be taken!!!! This place is amazing for those who are gluten free in my opinion!! Will most definitely be returning food was lovely!

We visited around 5pm mid week. We didn't have to wait long to get served or to get our food after we ordered. Food was lovely & managed to get discount for NHS staff.. bonus! Staff are friendly & polite. Will definitely return for more visits.

Nice new clean restaurant, sat in row of seats that seem to wobble when person behind you moves. Quite noisy.Food is basic and in my opinion bit expensive for what you get Chicken and fries basically from £10 upwards and not big portions.Chicken is very tasty.You order at the till.Refillable soft drinks.

I love Nandos & go every chance I get. This is a new branch and the service there was really good, despite a longer than usual wait for the food and them not having everything on the menu. We will always go here as we love it...as long as the service stays good

Called in for lunch whilst shopping. We were seated immediately and perused the menu. We both ordered butterfly chicken with fries and one other side. The food was delivered quite quickly and the food was hot. Unfortunately, that's the last of the good news. The chicken was quite dry and not very tasty. The side salad was rather limp and tasteless. We spent almost £30 for two lunches which were disappointing. We will not return - overpriced for very very average food.

Visit Teesside park Nando's my daughter knocked the drinks over on our table and the food was ruined. Staff were superb, cleaned everything away, replaced the food and drinks, and were fantastic. Food was great and we will be returning.

Came here with my partner while we were shopping on the retail park for some lunch and I was very impressed with the speediness of service considering how busy it was. Food was lovely good quality and pleasant atmosphere.However we were seated under the air conditioning unit and it was far too cold considering how windy it was outside.....

Second time at this Nando's and this time we weren't in a rush so I noticed more things. The layout isn't great. Seems to have people always in the way of others. Last time we were in a woman slipped on the floor and smashed a load of glasses. This time; I slipped on the floor. It didn't appear wet but it felt greasy under foot. I'm not sure if it's the type of flooring but I also saw a child almost go over on a different spot. We were seated quickly and the food was quick and hot. It's pretty average taste wise. Nothing spectacular for the slightly costly bill. The super grains are lovely. The place does for a bite to eat when shopping but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Came for some quick lunch with a friend. Don't normally write reviews but the staff were noticeably friendly. One of the staff members, Nathan, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Delicious food as always. My friend tried the new triple stack burger (chicken, mushroom and halloumi) and said it was really tasty. I had the mushroom and halloumi burger which is my favourite veggie treat. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Thought we would give this restaurant a go we were told there was a 20 minute wait as it was busy, 30 minutes later we got our table my husband went to order i went for drinks when i got back to the table another couple were sat there, they were re seated after i told them it was ours.My husband ordered but when checking the receipt it was wrong so he had to go and sort it out,we finally got our meal 45 minutes later our chicken was cold.To top it all the lady next to us asked my husband if he would go to the gents toilet to see if her husband was in there as he,d been missing for 20 minutes he found the staff trying to open the door with a screwdriver as the lock had broken from the inside but were unsuccessful and had to call fire brigade, the gentleman was stuck in there for over an hour! (What would have happened if this was a real emergency and the man had collapsed or a child was stuck in there)

Had chicken livers in south Africa and was my favourite meal...untill today....awfull..dry overcooked leather

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for. We are vegetarian and there are quite a few options, love the wraps and the spicy rice is awesome

Having done some shopping at the retail park we decided to grab some lunch in the recently opened Nando's. We timed it just right, we were shown to a choice of tables & ordered our food just as the place was filling up rapidly. Eldest child liked it but youngest wasn't too fussed. Me & hubby shared a boneless platter which was lovely but I could've eaten the whole thing myself! I enjoyed my meal & the surroundings but I didn't leave full! It would be a very pricey bill for me & hubby to leave there satisfied, but I would go again all the same!

Visited lunch time midweek very busy staff excellent friendly and helpful explaining menu and how to order.fist meal butterfly chicken burger very succulent and tasty had one side order which was the chips which were ok but slightly on the cold side but still enjoyed meal. Second meal Mediterranean salad with feta cheese excellent load of olives well seasoned

First time we ate in this nandos, after a bit of a que we got seated after 20minutes. food came pretty fast and we enjoyed our visit. the full menu is on myfitnesspal so we track what we ate and didnt break our diets.

Been here twice, once to try out and had a terrible experience, second time to give them a second chance. How wrong I was..........First time I called their head office customer service and they weren't bothered, put it down to being a new restaurant !If you look at my other posts, you can see I don't leave bad reviews as I tend to choose wisely, with Nando's you go knowing its a good service and brand.I've left a 1 star as the food is good.The Review.......Service 40 minute wait to be seated and 2 hours before we had food after calling the waiting staff over every 20 minutes or so,the order was wrong and was brought over 2 times before was correct, other tables next to us were given the same service, so wasn't just us, it was shambolic. A table had booked for 24 and came in half an hour after us and we were served when they were on their desserts. Yes apparently you can book a table now in Nando's,,, didn't know you could do this. The PlaceNot very clean considering it was only just opened, we also witnessed a member of staff leaving the premises to see a friend or family member outside, stroke their dog they were walking, walked back into the restaurant and just carried on with their duties, glad she never served us as I will have rejected the food.the only solace I take from this is we will never return to this one, we'll stick to the Middlesbrough Nando's, which is impeccablely great.and just for anyone who rings the Nando's customer service, they're not bothered about their trade, probably best calling British Telecom or your Local Council, I got the same respect and lack of interest from the person on the other end....................

Always go to Nandos near Cineworld in Mbro but was glad when it came to Stockton. Got seated nice a quickly and food came out promptly and hot. The only downside is there isn't many sauces as both times I've been, there is no more of the sauce I want as its on everyone else's table.The only hiccup we had on our last visit was we asked for peri peri chips and they came plain. Asked one of the servers and they never came back with the salt. But that's only minor.Would recommend a visit. Perfect for after shopping and more convenient for us than near Cineworld in my opinon.

The place looks great but when you enter the place you are told to wait around for a table, the queue to wait for a table is the same queue for the till so it's chaos for customers who are trying to order as you cannot tell where the food queue begins and the queue of people waiting to be seated starts. After waiting 25 minutes to be seated we ordered food. The place is freezing due to the main door constantly being opened and closed with nothing stopping the cold air from wafting around the whole place.Our food took 40 minutes to come out for a chicken wrap some rice and a corn on the cob. The hot plate kitchen hatch was stacked up with food waiting to go out onto tables so the delay was defiantly not the kitchen it was the front of house staff.People where queuing waiting to be seated had no choice but to stand over other people who were trying to eat due to the bad layout.The place is terrible. Badly designed and understaffed. Defiantly wouldn't be returning. Stick to the Middlesbrough one.

Yesterday me and my family went to Nando's, we ordered our food and 2 out of four orders came. We spoke to the member of staff and they said table 14 had been table 9 all day, so that's why she brought the kids meals there we ended up waiting another 15 minutes but the food was okay. My experience was okay, i would go again.

Visited the new Nando's with my boyfriend and we both enjoyed the food. Service was good and fast, good size portions and staff were friendly. I would return to this Nando's again.

Visited Nando's Teesside park this evening (23/02/2017 ) and i ordered a full chicken platter (take out)that come with 4 sides orders . The whole chicken was raw , it tasted as if it was half boiled and just basted with a medium spicy sauce and got packed ,I doubt it ever tasted the grill .I had to put the whole chicken in the bin ,it tasted very awful, tried to microwave it but it didn't help.You have lost me , going back to Nando's Middlesbrough

Maybe that's a bit harsh... but let me explain. It's a new restaurant. The decor is really modern and appealing. It was a Tuesday afternoon, about 2pm and it was not busy. Yet we stood for a good minute before being acknowledged and shown to a table. Odd when there's staff walking around. Again, when ordering, although staff were really friendly and polite, were again far too busy walking around to take my order!Having said that, food was amazing. It arrived quickly, hot and really tasty!!No froyo though....Will definitely go again.

Nice layout, staff friendly and helpful. They ran out of certain food items by 6pm on Saturday, need to get more supplies in! It was really busy and they kept the door open making it reallycold, they need to make a way of keeping the door shut. Apart from that the staff were friendly, food to Nandos usual standard. Will be better once they get passed their teething problems.

Visited on a Friday night. To start they had no macho peas or supergrain. We then had to wait 40 minutes for humous which only came when I asked where it was (I rarely complain). We then sat for 20 more minutes watching other people get served who came after us and watch the shambles of the second hatch being stacked up on top of each other waiting to come out with staff having no idea what to do with it. I've never seen a Nando's with such poor organisation. After an hour a waitress came and asked for our receipt and the food came 5 minutes after. They must have lost our order ? Then our receipt with my Nando's points never came back (forgot my Nando's card). Probably the worst service at any Nando's I've ever had. What rescued the night was the food we did get was to the brands usual high standards.

The staff here have to be commended. They go out of there way in this busy restaurant to give excellent customer service. I have not had this kind of customer service in a restaurant for a very long time. The food was fine and will certainly return. Keep up the good work!

First visit to this new branch of Nando's at Teesside Park. Was impressed by the decor and layout of the restaurant. We were greeted promptly and given a choice of tables to sit at. Service was as swift and pleasant as we've come to expect with Nando's, the food excellent, perfectly cooked and presented.I was sat facing the kitchen area and was surprised to see only one member of staff in the kitchen area wearing a hairnet, others (male & female) with LARGE hair (uncontained), wandering about cooking and plating up - one female member of staff even totally rearranging her hairstyle!!!Hopefully, the management will see this review and take the necessary steps toward better standards of hygiene!Unsure as yet if will be returning!!

I like Nandos. Ok, there is not a lot of choice, chicken, chicken or veggie. But it is delicious, quick and you know what you will get. This new restaurant at Teesside Park is in the corner near George, not with the other restaurant chains but I think this is to their advantage as they will get passing shoppers. I hope they succeed there. I enjoyed the boneless thighs (medium) with rice and garlic bread. I got refillable soft drink and enjoyed a nice relaxing sit down after shopping.

I visited with two friends on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant was very quiet with only around 5 tables occupied at 3pm.All members of staff we encountered were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs.We looked at the menu then went up to the counter to order and pay. We were given a glass each to help ourselves to a re-fillable soft drink from the machine (£2.60). The cutlery, napkins etc are also kept in this area and you simply help yourself.Our food arrived at our table very promptly. It was all nicely presented. Everything tasted delicious and freshly made, with the exception of the chips that tasted re-heated.A "double chicken" wrap with chips and two small pieces of garlic bread was £13.15.When we paid for our food we were not offered a free Nando's loyalty card. I only found out about this later but would have liked to have joined this scheme.Nevertheless we enjoyed our visit and a lot of effort has clearly gone into the design of the restaurant. It felt vibrant and was very colourful. I would return.

We visited on Saturday 7th January around 5pm we had to wait around 35 minutes to get a table as there were loads of other people waiting as well all stood in the entrance and standing over people eating there meal. Once we had been seated we then went to order food this was no problem and was very easy, The waitress then started to clean the table next to us spraying it and the spray was not in its missed setting and came straight over to our table and soaked us and the little baby. She did apologise. Once our food arrived my chips were freezing wile another plate of chips on our table were hot, I mentioned this to the waiter who just brought another bowl of chips across not taking the cold ones away. The waitress started to clear the finish plates away wile some of us were still eating and we did feel we were getting rushed out as the people waiting to be seated was getting bigger. Lovely deco and a nice atmosphere but really poor service it felt like they couldn't Cope with the amount of customers coming in. Hope it gets better as it's only been open a few months.

Visited on 29th December at 7.15, looks nice and is clearly popular as we had to wait 30 mins for a table along with around 20-30 others crammed into the reception area. Our wait was a little longer as we required a table for 6.After 35 minutes we were given a table then we needed to join the queue at the till to order food. This took another 20 minutes.All acceptable as it was our choice as we could see how busy things were and we decided to brave it as it was requested by the kids.Then came the unacceptable part - the food just sits and sit on the pass coming out of the kitchen. At one point and when we had been waiting for our food for a further 45 minutes there must have been 50 meals under the hot lights and 1 gormless waiter in a baseball cap (sorry Owen) just staring at the pass and not taking any meals out. When the table next to ours was eventually cleaned we asked the waitress if we could go and collect out own food as no one was eating and it was getting more and more stacked up under the hot lamps.She then to her credit when and retrieved our food and behold it had been sat there for ages and the bunds where like concrete as they must have had 30 mins under the heating lamps.All in all a shame as it looks attractive and other Nandos are ok but this was a truly awful dining experience and not that cheap considering the quality of the food was way below other fast food joints like McDonalds or Burger King.Best avoided for several months til they bring in a manager to do a little training and run the floor properly.
