Went for a couple drinks. Ordered a sex on the beach made by Dan and they were fantastic. service from Kiera was also incredible. would definitely recommend

Very busy pub and a great meet-up pub. Draught drinks really poor, so stick to bottles for a decent drink.

What a great pub. Had a lovely lunchtime with some friends from Eaglescliffe. Bar staff/landlord/lady were so friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Real ales were very good and obviously well kept. Pizzas were fantastic, better than the Italian Restaurant opposite. Highly recommended. Thanks guys.

Decent sized bar with plenty of seating. The front bar was closed when we went in so we had to go to a smaller bar at the back. Wainwright and Doom Bar beer on cask. Average experience. Nothing exceptionally good or bad about it.

Genuine friendly staff; welcoming and attentive (without going ott). Burgers were amazing. I visited on a recommendation from work colleagues and would now recommend here. Was a Monday afternoon, so was nice and quiet (I was there to treat my elderly parents; staff's help is alway appreciated when I am with them). I would like to try out the vibe at the weekend in the extensive and well-presented beer garden next time without the old yins. Overall: lovely staff, great food and exellent service.

Came for bottomless brunch and Josh couldn't be more attentive if he tried! Constantly made sure our drinks were full and nothing was too much for him. He's a credit to the pub and the company and we'll definitely be requesting him next time we do a bottomless brunch!

Tonight we had dinner at the Black Bull as a family and may I say a special thanks to Sean, Courtney and Josh. The food, drinks, chilled ambiance and service made the evening one to remember. To top it off, we could have the puppy dog (Delilah) enjoy the evening with us instead of leaving her at home. Thank you for being dog friendly and we’ll be gracing your establishment more often.

Lovely food and good portion size. Review update: Revisited on 19th Dec whilst away with work. Pub was sooo busy & loud being that time of year, managed to find one spare small table. Amazing food again and good service despite how busy they were. Revisited on 11th Sept 24, pub very busy as it was quiz night but luckily found a table. Food took around 50mins to be served, server apologised for the long wait, as apparently a large order after mine came in and mine got pushed back in the queue 🙁 Fish tasted good and was served hot. Fries & peas were Luke warm unfortunately and egg could have been cooked better, plus it was hard yolk not runny, which was a shame.

What a lovely business, and an amazing team working in it! We came across for a bit of dinner after a recommendation, and ended up landing in quiz night. We had the 241 pizza deal, pizzas were unreal and the twister fries and dirty angry faces were great as well! It came quickly and was roasting hot, Jodie made sure we had everything we needed and checked in throughout the meal. We were then persuaded to do the quiz by Izzie, so glad we ended up doing it. She made sure we understood how it all worked, and encouraged us all the way through to go for the win! Ended up coming 5th (I won’t forget this quizzy rascals) but it was a great laugh. Ended up spending £30 for a great night out, amazing value 🙂 will definitely come back!

We ordered 10 cocktails 3 g&ts felt bad for the size of the order but lily got it done with a smile on her face.

By far the best pub on the high street. Great outdoor space at the back with booths, TVs, heaters, outdoor bar, DJs. Good mixed crowd. Super busy on a weekend, especially a Saturday but always a friendly and lively vibe. £3.50 happy hour 5-8pm Mon to Fri with lots of drinks to choose from including cocktails. Food is great too. But it's the staff who make this place. The whole team are brilliant, always up for a laugh and will go the extra mile. Pub quiz is good fun on a Wed night with Izzy. Particular mention for Callum and Jody (the interlopers from the south) for making me and the family so welcome. Oh and for Charles on the door who is prob the smiliest nicest guy yer ever likely to meet!

Great pub Best selection of draft beers in Yarm Midweek it is ideal for a quiet drink Friday and Saturday night it tends to be rammed but the atmosphere is great When the weather is dry the beer garden is brilliant . Has an atmosphere but needs a refurb. Bar area smelt. Another average pub charging premium prices. Way behind city pubs but feel they can charge you city prices.

Good pub in the lovley Yarm on Tees

Fantastic food and drinks, quick friendly service and very cute pub, with a huge garden and loads of atmosphere, massive TV along with lots of little huts with their own TVs and heaters

Had occasion to visit yesterday ordered Rump steak and a beer, Beer was excellent. Unfortunately I have to say the Rump steak was the worst I have ever had. It was completely inedible it was so tough I literally could not bite into it in fact it was hard to cut even with the supplied steak knife.

never ever again returned my mouldy rock hard ciabatta sandwich buy only after id taken a bite daughters chips were greasy snd tasteless both meals looked and tasted like they had been scraped off leftovers, genuinely , hygiene needs looking at before someone gets really sick!!

It is very traditional English pub. Food is accepted but the space is clean, cosy and tidy. I came over Friday afternoon and not too much busy. Happy to spend time with friends.

It is a very old, dark and secret nooks type of place! The food was great, we did the small plates and B1G1F Pizzas, the choices were different and very enjoyable, Overall a great time was had.

Called in on dinner break,went for a meat meast pizza, was lovely. Staff all seemed in good spirits and were having a laugh which is nice to see

Lovely food, good menu, always enjoy our afternoon's in the Bull. Staff are all very helpful and professional. Jo always goes the extra mile she even offered to bring our drinks over and asked me if we needed the fire putting on. Love that it's dog friendly, pizzas are lush.

Great atmosphere, staff are all a good laugh and the quiz on a Wednesday evening is stellar (just like the host, even if she recently dipped a used napkin in my drink). Also it's pretty much the only pub in Yarm that's wheelchair accessible!

Steak was ok, I opted for mash instead of chips.....so I wish I hadn't, instant mash was shocking!

We came for bottomless brunch! For £25 unlimited pizza and prosecco it was fabulous. Josh was our server and he was absolutely fabulous. I have requested him to serve us on a number of bottomless brunches previous. He made our visit fabulous 👌🏼

This used to be one of my favourite places for Saturday night but last night was awful, they've turned it into a disco pub, which is fine, it's a really big pub & there's enough room for a loud music & dance area but they have loud music throughout the entire pub and conversation was a waste of time. The music was just as loud in the sug area at the front of the pub. At the suggestion of the owner, we popped in again last Saturday night, the music was too loud in the front area to talk without shouting, why bother with a speaker in this area at all? When there's plenty of music in the other 80% of the pub?
