Bennetts Fish & Chips in Stockton-on-Tees

ordered a large sausage and chips got a large sausage but kids portion of chips also my partner got a cheesy chips and garlci with scraps paid 5 pound plus for it got home opened the food small amount of chips like kids size in a large box with small amount of cheese and garlic sauce no scraps the money paid for it was not worth the price staff person had no apron on just in normal clothes no hat also rude

Thought I'd take fish and chips home for my husband and I well never ever again there was no fish hardly chips were warmed up totally disgusting please avoid

so greasy. such bad quality to the point that i never even ate it. hygiene of the shop is extremely poor

We were extremly disappointed with the fish and chips, and shocked by the price. I could have got a weeks shopping for £28.There was a hair on my plate and some if the chips were bad

poor portion , and never open and bad atmosphere, you won't get service with a smile from hear .

Got a chips butty with curry sauce £3.50 A tiny portion even the serving box was small ripp off like a kids meal uploaded a picture scammer ripp off

Popped into here for the first time in a very long time yesterday as our go to food place was closed due to holidays. I was not at all disappointed. The food was excellent, especially the chips which I am very fussy about. The lady who served us needs a special mention too. She was so friendly it made the whole experience that much better. Thank you so much for that. I won't be leaving it so long until I return here next time!

I always go to this chippy. First time I went was about 4 year ago and the service and food was the same as what it is now.

Dont go much but do nice food customer service is friendly

Standard chippy serving decent grub at reasonable prices with friendly and helpful staff. Cash only – nearest ATM is in McColl's across the High Street – and note that closing time is 6pm!!
