Delhi Express in Stockton-on-Tees

Quickly delivered but a bit of a let down, especially since the last time I had a meal from here was also rather poor, although that was a couple of years ago. Chicken was a bit dry and the sauce had a vinegary smack to it, which I thought rather unusual. Keema naan was very light on the filling, a pity because it was a nice texture. Rice very ordinary. Not cheap either.

Food was great, as usual, but there was a can of coke missing from my order. tried phoning them numerous different times, but there was no response.

Bland Bengal Special & Tikka Masala. Burnt, crispy and dry naan. App showed delivered when it hadn’t even arrived. Half the food was cold.

Must have changed the chef. My curry was ok but the Rogan Josh sauce, on its own was just full of water. Not the usual high standard.

was all very tasty, but vindaloo wasn't very hot,I've had noodles from b&m that were spicer, again tested great but add abit more heat,delivery time was okay

I have had to phone up as they got my order wrong with the rice and I asked them to send more steamed rice out to me for it to take over 1 hour to come so had my tea and I don’t think I will order again as this is the 2 nd I have had a problem

only problem with the food was the onion bhajis were burnt and the chips weren't chips, they were frozen French fries. other than that food was gorgeous as always

Wanted to give Delhi lounge a second go after the last time having below par food for the price. However this time was even worse. Waited 2 hours for the delivery and the chicken tikka main that was delivered was disgusting. No flavour, stale uncooked chicken. It went straight in the bin and won’t ever order from their never again

Food was delivered 20 minutes early. Delivery driver didn’t wait long at the door however even though I asked them to call me when outside as would be upstairs. Korma was nice chicken a bit dry and rice was fine. My naan was a little burnt on the bottom which spoilt the meal for me

was tasty but there was alot of grease. and one of the sauces didn't have the lid on properly so it spilt everywhere

One of the worst Indians I’ve ever had, as for onion bagi starters they came out the freezer. £20 down the drain couldn’t eat it.

Used to be my favourite Indian, however noticed portion sizes reduced, price increased and very mediocre curry! Korma was so sweet it was inedible, had a vindaloo which lacked spice & was very watery!£33 for 2 x curries,rice & nan bread! Shocking!

First time ordering. The food was ok. It lacked taste and it was quite watery. I waited an hour and a half for the food to be delivered.

Had two takeaways from here now, and oh my god! The Jalfrazi's are amazing! So tasty and hot! Fresh green chillies in it too if you want to take the heat up a notch (which I did 🔥🥵🤤😋😍) really cannot recommend this place enough! Loved it and will certainly be ordering again, and again and again! Real value for money and really quick delivery, even on a Saturday night.

Delicious- really enjoyed our meal! Husband said the Rogan Josh was a little spicer than he is used to but lovely flavours and my MIL said it was possibly the nicest Rogan Josh she has ever tasted. I loved my Korma also. Will definitely order from here again- delivered in thirty minutes from order which was really quick!

I ordered a lamb tikka madras. Generally, a spicy dish, but not inedible. Tonight’s, lamb tikka madras wasn’t edible due to the overpowering taste of too much chilli added (far too spicy) and not like the typical standard version of a madras. My lips, stomach and body is in pain, it’s cruel to serve this to me. Guys, what’s happened to the good food.

I decided to go here by recommendation. It’s the best in the area.

Decent curry and great delivery from Jamal; he was polite and quick. Had an issue with the wrong item and they sorted it very quickly and satisfactorily. We’re staying in the area for work and would certainly order again if we’re up here again.

Usually lovely here but last night they sent us meat samosas instead of vegetable ones, my husbands vegetarian so couldn't eat them and they were specifically ordered for him, this has happened in the past and we let it go because we genuinely like this place but they've done it again! The Naans were also really burnt and black on the bottom. It's not cheap either cost almost £50 for what we got and it just wasn't the usual standard.

Standards have definitely slipped at Delhi Express. Order a chicken Korai of the specials menu and didn’t have anything special about it. Totally lacking in flavour or spice, might as well have ordered a Bhuna. And chicken always tastes like it’s from last night. Not fresh and juicy. Naan arrived under cooked and doughy. Not what they used to be.

Always the best curry! Piping hot, full of flavour And not just salt or spices! Always cooked to perfection!

Unreal. Never ever finished a curry before. Every scrap of this food went apart from a couple of pieces of onion with the mixed kebab. Only order from here now. Me and hubby absolutely love the place. Food is always spot on. Best curry we’ve had from a takeaway by far!

Òrdered 3 curries, sides and rice, all arrived piping hot and the chicken was really good quality chicken breast (I'm really fussy with meat) naan breads were delicious.

No rice with initial delivery, but it was here within 15 mins. Then found one of the main meals was wrong, gave up after that. Couldn't eat the meal that was sent, too hot !!!!

Order from here regularly but yesterday must of been a bad day Ordered extra a potatoes, got 3 small ones which just replaced the chicken mostly anyway Naan undercooked on edges Korma way sweeter than normal to the point it wasn’t even edible

Just ordered a meal from this takeaway and what a complete waste of money it was. I ordered a tandoori mixed grill which was advertised as being tender, it was anything but, it was completely inedible and totally burnt. I will never order from here again and I urge everyone else to do the same

Best Indian takeaway in stockton IMHO. Food always arrives hit, perfectly cooked they follow my specific instructions. I have eaten a lot of Indian takeaway and traditional Indian food from different provinces, this takeaway is my preferred takeaway, for me excellent.

Staff were friendly on phone, said would be 15 minutes then waited another 25 for it to turn up freezing cold. Won’t be ordering from here again :)

Paid £40+ for this takeaway just for two people…both curries were bland and tasteless. The sheek kebab was boiled or something it was like mush. Rice was hard like it was just microwaved. Bombay wings like jelly. Honestly the worst food I’ve ever had.
