Food just absolutely gorgeous. Piping hot, delicious and promptly delivered with a polite delivery man. Love this place and will continue to order my Indian takeaways from here.

AVOID. I ordered 1 hour before and it turned up 30 mins late. They must have been delayed making sure the onion bhaji were burnt properly. The Channa Puri and bottle of coke were OK but that's where it stopped. Bombay Chilli Special smelt and tasted off. The garlic Naan bread was tasteless. AVOID

Best Indian we have had in a long time. We live in Ingleby but ordered from Billingham and it still arrived quicker and more fresh than most places local. Every dish was top class and a new favourite place found. 100% recommend.

Food is unreal and the drive is so lovely

It was a rare miss from Bombay Chilli. Rice was missing from the order, and the bread was a little undercooked. The rice was replaced, probably an hour later, which was pointless as the meal was already finished. Bit disappointing as they’re usually very good. Maybe I caught them on a particularly hectic Friday evening.

Honestly the best Indian I’ve had in a while, the garlic naan actually tasted like garlic and wasn’t burnt. Everything was spot on would happily order from here again!!

Popadom was stale and lime pickle was dry n not edible but the curry, side, rice and nann were amazing and hot when delivered. Chicken tikka bhuna 👌🏻 love it here

Tikka tasted great but sauce was runny. Dhansak was spicier than expected but nice. All seemed well cooked including the naan and roti (lovely). Sheek kebabs lovely but the salad was warm due to packing with hot containers I guess. Will use again.

Simply fantastic as I feel the real chicken tikka rice I felt so good. I’ll recommend to everyone to taste this food, and I will go and buy it again as the taste is very good.

Very weird. Had a phone call from this business. Answered it to hear deliberate heavy breathing down the phone. It was then hung up rather quickly when I said hello so I called back and enquired about the call to be told no one had called me from the number in a manner that suggested I was lying. The weirdest thing is I don't even live anywhere close to the area this company is based in. In fact I'm half way down the country.

Really great curry. Tikka lamb/chicken beautifully cooked. Will be trying something else from Bombay Chilli.

This place used to be the best Indian food in the area. Gone shockingly down hill recently. Shocked to learn that the most recent food hygiene rating is one star, after I got food from there. (I hadn't for years). Doing some more research shows at one point, it had ZERO stars! Disgusting. How can they let this place get so bad? Really sad and shows clearly that the owners don't care one little bit about the customers they serve. Gross. The owners should be embarrassed and ashamed. The food is ok but nothing special now. It does appear they are cutting corners in more ways than just hygiene.

Took a while to come but was very tasty, my partner got chicken tikka masala and loved it, I got chicken & lamb garlic curry but I wasn't keen on it, bit too runny and lamb was tough. The rice & bread was very nice though.

First curry ordered from Bombay Chilli. Really nice, will try something else from this takeaway.

Ordered lamb rogan josh it was very spicy prefer it a little milder onion bahjis were nice mint dip was very spicy but meal was nice a tad hot for my palette but would try it again

Food was delivered within the time frame I was given (9:40-10:00 was delivered at 9:55) driver apologised but wasn’t as issue. Food was unreal like always but my nann bread was cold but this is a one off as I always order from here n that’s never been an issue before

stone cold, like baby temperature. delivered in a plastic bag, which wasn't in any type of heat holding bag. So, though the item came early, by the time it got to me, it was in a bad way. Disappointing. defo wouldn't recommend

I've been having the dhansak for the past few weeks, absolutely amazing! The place is ran by two lovely gentlemen. The special rice is also gorgeous!

Great portions, and good options for vegetarians. Food was really hot when delivered.

The butter chicken was actually a Korma and the chapatis were a little thick other than that was a nice meal.

I ordered a dupiaza which is supposed to have onion and fried onions. I got 2 onion pieces at most. The meal looked like it was chucked together

Food was cold, portions were tiny (Pakora had five tiny bits of chicken, smaller than chicken nuggets) and the SINGLE popadom was only a half, not to mention soft and squishy. Absolutely terrible food - won’t be back.

Meat was like rubber ,madras well it was bland tasted like it had a tub of chilli powder in it ,rice no taste what so ever

Food itself was quite good, but they delivered a totally different meat dish to our vegetarian one. Extra disappointing when you don't eat meat for ethical reasons. They weren't apologetic and didn't offer to refund anything or provide anything extra. They delivered the correct one twenty mins later. Though by this point, the other food was cold for that person. Got a refund through Just Eat instead. Restaurant also supplied polystyrene cups which are now banned in England.

Oder was missing boiled rice, Biryani only had four small pieces of lamb & three small pieces of chicken it was also Luke warm after looking again it seems I paid for a boiled egg? After paying £12.00 for a king prawn curry without rice

Poppadoms were soggy, and the food was cold. The second or third time this has happened in a row. Think i'll be finding somewhere else. Shame, as the Makhani is amazing.

Chicken tasted like domestos, not edible couldn't ring back as ship had closed before delivery

Food came 20 mins early id just come out of Bath so wasn't ready that's why I ordered for 6 not 17.40 the carton with the curry in was leaking and had curry all over the carrier bag it was in there was a fair amount of wastage so wasn't impressed at all

this meal was the worst i have ever had from a take away the container it was in was only 3/4 full it was swimming in watery thin curry could not see any meat un till i poured in on a plate there was very little meat in the container it was supposed to be lamb but i am not sure it was it did not taste right at least half of the meal ended up in the bin i cannot recommend this take away and i will not be ordering again

Not happy at all… meal was late.. curry was STONE cold, we didn’t eat any of it, waste of almost £30 will not be returning
