Nandos in Kingston upon Thames

Took forever for the food to come. Came cold. Forgot back did the order. Absolutely appalling service. I’d rather go to the Kingston branch!

My food delivery order didn’t arrive. The manager of this branch Ayrton refused to send me out another order even when I offered to pay for a cab to send it in he said no he wouldn’t do that then rudely slammed the phone down on me when I pointed out that they had taken my money and not delivered the food I paid over £28 for. He was trying to pass the buck to that pointless shower Deliveroo saying I needed to contact them. I paid my Money to Nando’s of New Malden. I had to contact their head office to get a refund processed. Then this delivery driver had the audacity to turn up over an hour late with a cold gloopy mess splattered around a paper bag which he just plonked down on my doorstep and walked away. I had to chase after him to give the inedible farce back. I will never order Nando’s again or eat in their restaurants again after this and I have been regular diner for over ten years!

We arrived on Bank Holiday Monday and it was busy but they made a table for six of us…. Food arrived quickly. As we needed it with two grandchildren…. They didn’t offer the colouring sheets but we went to get some…. The food was hot and everyone emptied their plates… I still love the Piri Piri chicken but the burgers were also well received. Nice to be able to order salad and broccoli, as a diabetic. Most meals out have chips, bread or pasta!!

Very nice food.we came at 8:00 pm with family and a toddler when we sat down and order the staff gave the toddler some colouring the food was hot as always burger was so nice the only thing is that the food took a very long time.

Regular customer, second time now that the bbq sauces shelf has been empty!! When asked where the Vusa sauce was I was told there was none, when asked where the hot sauce was, I was told another customer had it. Yes indeed, one bottle for the whole restaurant !! There used to be a time when staff were evident within the dining area checking on if customers were happy with food and service. No staff visited us, and when I looked around to find a member to request a box for food I couldn’t see anyone. This restaurant and staff need to wake up, seriously buck up their act, and start serving their customers, instead of sitting on their arses!! Given the imminent recession and the massive choice of restaurants in New Malden it’s not as if we’re short of choice of places to eat. Food is great, service pants!! Surely you can do better than that !!

Good food lovely staff went with family clean table lovely place to go for date or family friends and talk about business

We planned a lovely dinner as a family with my 1 year old which ended in disappointment. One staff was very unhelpful and has no clue what he was doing there. Followed up the order as we have waited long and my son is getting unsettled. Was told that it was only 20 minutes ago and a lot of people are also waiting to get served and he is unable to say when it will be ready. So rude and unhelpful. I know it was a busy time but they should have anticipated this and made sure people are not left waiting too long. Definitely not coming back.

The worst Nando’s in the UK. The service is slow The tables are sticky The food is cold And the staff are rude. I’ve been here a few times now, wanting to give it the benefit of the doubt but every time it’s the same. Do not recommend coming here. Go to the one in Kingston or Worcester Park instead.

Great service and despite not being able to go and get sauces when you want, staff are so wonderful and attentive we never went in need of peri peri flavours. You can't order a jug of water but they brought over four glasses of water so cannot complain. New garlic BBQ flavour was super tasty and food was hot. They've added sweet chili to the burger which bf wasn't too keen on but still tasty. New rainbow slaw was delicious and broccoli was substantial.

Felt very safe here with good coronavirus restrictions.The online system for ordering food was easy as long as you have a smartphone.Food excellent and staff friendly and helpful.

I went to the branch to order a takeaway. I was told that I could only order online . I said I would do that next time but as I was standing in front of them could I make an order , I was happy to wait outside while the food was cooked. The young lady checked with someone who I presume was the manager and was told no I couldn't .At which point I left and bought my takeaway meal for 6 people from another restaurant who didn't seem to have a problem . Sadly ,as we have always previously enjoyed the food , I will not be returning. In the current state that restaurants find themselves in I could not believe that a restaurant would turn business away and by their actions alienate a previously happy customer It could not have been a COVID 19 issue as there were people next to me collecting takeaways I would like to add that the young lady serving me was very pleasant and actually looked very embarrassed , the manager however appeared to be hiding behind her and wouldn't come over to discuss. I will not be returning

We had to queue for quite a while to get in and the process included scanning a qr code to be entered into a virtual queue but you were not allowed to book.Service was fairly good but it was not the same experience as it would normally be.It was only really worth it due to the 50% off at the moment.The food however was good.

I visited here one Tuesday evening. The food was so tasty! Everything was freshly cooked and the chicken was very juicy! I will be back!

I am big fun and regular customer for Nando’s in Kingston. Today I had visit your branch in New Malden. As I can’t have bred I asked in nice way the manager if I can swap for small not expensive salad . He said to me in very angry way, that is not about the price they need to put every thing on the till. I never have this issue in Kingston. I always have small salad. They never question me they just said no problem. Food was delicious. Unfortunately the manager don’t know about the customer service.

Came here with our granddaughter for her birthday tea... although it was early we had to wait for quite a while to be seated... we were put on a big table in the corner, so the kids could be noisy without disturbing others. They all enjoyed the Christmas themed colouring sheets... There is a good choice of kids meals, which are a sensible size and with healthy options, like broccoli offered! The kids like the mango frozen yoghurt .... For the adults there is plenty of choice too, the menu has increased since our last visit... I especially liked the mixed beans with avocado dressing.... Staff were friendly and helpful.... we will be back

Our daughter took us here on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime. My wife and I chose the moderately spicy chicken thighs with a good selection of vegetables. Service and prices Ok. We'll try this again.

Service at the tills is semi friendly. Other than that they’re completely brain dead. Food is not cooked properly and tables are sticky. Service makes this an unpleasant place to go. Their regional manager needs to do an undercover visit or something and fix this terrible branch as it’s ruining the Nando’s brand.

Visited here for a quick lunch. Was told we would have to wait 15 mins for the wings but was told the rest would arrive when it was ready. 20 mins later most of our food was delivered cold, apart from the wings. Despite it being on the hot counter to the side of us for most of the 20 mins. Cold corn, hot melted better and cold chips. (Which were replaced) pitta with chicken was also cold but we were hungry so started eating whilst we waited for the rest of the food being recooked. Normally very pleased with every Nando’s however will avoid this one from now on

Food and service was great, will definately be going back there, great staff ,,, good value for money.

Despite being told that medical staff do get discount on food the management n staff said no. Food was ok still I felt the team were not aware of their discounts goin on. They have the deal on their website too still food was served hot and it was ok.

The food can be really hit and miss here at times the food is good but sometimes they overcook the food and it’s happened on more than one occasion now . Also no one ever checks back on your table to see if everything is okay .

Not my favourite type of food, but was hot and tasty. Good choice of spice level and good choice of sides. Poor choice of desert

I never used to enjoy Nandos until I went to this one. Feels nice and open and airy with all the glass windows. Not much more to say... its a Nandos.

I have always been a fan of Nandos and on average go once a month. Serves decently grilled chicken which is good value for money n of a good standard for a chain restaurant.

I ordered food for delivery. Said it would be 45 minutes. 2.5 hours plus three calls to the store and I am still waiting!! Called their delivery team who said it had been delivered. Shocking customer service and had to beg for a refund.

Visited with my husband, daughter and baby son late on Saturday afternoon. I'd been to a Nando's once before and at that time your order was taken at the table, didn't realise that now you have to choose, order and pay at the till. That put aside, 40 minutes later when our food hadn't arrived, we asked a waitress what the hold-up was. Apparently, because the order list hadn't printed from the till, it hadn't gone through to the kitchen. Point one: why didn't the person on the till deal with it at the time. Point two: nobody came over to check if "is everything OK". The waitress who served our drink remembered that it had been a long time since she had done so, and our credit card receipt confirmed the length of wait. After some to-ing and fro-ing with various members of staff. we spotted a group of managers sitting having their lunch and hoped that one of them would come and take over from the waitress trying to resolve the matter. Oh no, can't spoil their lunch. Eventually a manager who had just started his shift came over.. Apologised, but no offer of compensation - we had to ask We had ordered starters and mains, and these then came all at the same time. Quality of food not great, prices too high, and apart from the girl who served our drinks and tried to resolve the matter, service appalling. Even if you have younger members in the party, take them to KFC if they want chicken. They don;t pretend to be something they're not. If you want a cheap, quick meal, go Weatherspoons across the road (The Watchman) where you can get a burger and a soft drink for under £5. Not gourmet, but you know that before you go in. Nando's is overpriced,definitely not Portguese and pretentious.

We had dinner last weekend in the New Malden branch and is far better than our local Hounslow branch. The food was amazing and staff were brilliant.

Will never be eating from this branch again. I’ve had a terrible experience with them in the past but thought I’d give them a second chance - big mistake! I ordered for delivery and an hour later the food still hadn’t turned up so I rang to inquire and was told the order hadn’t been received so I was offered a refund and told to try and order online again. I did this and received an email to say it would be be approx 35 mins but it only arrived 1 hour 10 minutes later. Obviously by the time it arrived the food was cold and my veggie burger uncooked, chips like soggy cardboard etc

Nando's - well you know what you're gonna get.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon, was seated straight away. Ordered food which arrived very quickly within ten minutes. Food was lovely especially the superfood salad. Staff were friendly.

Yesterday myself my partner and two young children visited Nandos late afternoon which was not a very good experience .Firstly when our food came all the chicken was dry and over cooked but as we where so hungry we ate it !.BUT if a member of staff would have come over I would of said something which they didn't for the whole time we where in the restaurant. Considering if was not busy maybe 4 tables of people , we thought this was shocking and to top it off one off the staff was sitting opposite us with feet up on chair on Mobile phone ! Such a let down as we've used this Nandos many times in the past and always had good food and service ,

First ever trip to Nando’s - really first ever - thankfully I was in expert company! The volume of food was slightly overwhelming but the quality was good, service was speedy and atmosphere quite fun. Certainly an enjoyable new experience.

Went here with my family for a meal and having been to many Nandoes restaurant chains this one is pretty good 5****

i love the chicken it was tasty the way they cook it, nice and tender and melt into your mouth and fresh.

The location of this restaurant is good. it is very expensive and not value for money. The service is also not up to the mark.

I don't think Nandos is an impressive restaurant. It is just average. It depends on the sauces there.

Place was clean and the staff efficient and polite . Came here with my kids who seem to revel in the limited menu for some reason but sorry it wasn't for me . Food was average at best 😣, will leave it to the youngster!

The restaurant is really busy but they are very efficient in getting tables cleaned straight after diners leave. Depending on how busy it is your looking at a waiting time of 15-30 minutes

Had to go here with a group of friends (not my choice), I think this was probably one of the better Nandos around but I just hate the concept and food so it get low marks from me

Hemos estado en varias ocasiones nando's y me encanta la comida. Vinimos aquí para el cumpleaños de mi madre, que estaba bastante concurrida cuando llegamos estaba sentado Hutu y menús rápidamente dada. Pedimos comida y nos trajeron rápidamente. Como siempre, la comida era estupenda, y lo disfrutamos.

I've never had any issues here- such friendly nice staff, and tasty food! Good veggie options too. Great amount of seating inside- I always manage to get seated quickly. One small thing- please bring back the chocolate cheesecake Nando's head office!! It was lovely!!

El personal nos ignoró y empezó a tomar la orden de la persona que estaba detrás de nosotros. El pollo llegó quemada y parecía que alguien tomó un bocado de una de las alas.

Visité la semana pasada este nando durante mi almuerzo y yo pedimos la hamburguesa pan de ajo por incluirlo y patatas fritas, pero la persona que me atendio no añade las patatas fritas a mi orden. Pregunté por calor ya que la spice en la hamburguesa, pero la hamburguesa era insípida.

hummus and bread starter was really good. chicken inside the chicken wrap was so chewy. ice cream was also really good

Nos fuimos para una comida con 4 adultos y 2 niños (4 y 2), todo el mundo podría haber algo que disfrutamos. . Los niños comieron. casi todo, así como los adultos. . . Resultado. . . Me encanta el pollo piri piri. . .

Fuimos para una comida familiar con mis tres nietos pequeños. El personal era muy atento y generoso y elegimos nuestra mesa preferida y enseguida nos trajeron una silla alta. La comida llegó rápidamente y t estaba bien presentado y preparado. Un poco caro, pero sabes exactamente lo que vas a obtener. Volveremos algún día en el futuro.

Went last night with my coeliac husband who must eat gluten free food. As always with Nando's he had a good hot meal with no cross contamination. Hurrah.

Went with my two kids as a treat but this time I was disappointed. Service was the main issue from entrance to at the table, lacking manners and a friendly approach. Food was okay but portions seemed smaller than I recall. Shame.

He estado viniendo a este es muy jamás desde que abrió sus puertas en New Malden. Yo vivo localmente y amor es muy así que funciona muy bien. El personal es siempre amable y servicial. Creo que hay unos cuantos miembros del personal que han estado allí desde que abrieron y siempre encantador. Gran restaurante. Siempre limpia y servicio rápido. 100% lo recomendaría si buscas un sitio local en New Malden para comer. Nunca me decepciona y nunca un problema y dejar la sensación de completa y feliz.

Visitar muy a menudo por cena rápida. Este lugar puede estar muy concurrido. Siempre recibir un buen servicio, sin embargo no hay más nuestro favorito personal. No se puede esperar una comida increíble y loca de restaurante que no sólo de pollo, pero este es más que suficiente para hacer que 2 personas felices :).

This place is like a cattle market. No personality no ambience.rather unpleasant experience. The salad that was served was straight out of a bag... no dressing .... small portions. Can't see myself returning here ever again.

Nando's como en general este es uno de los peores que he estado. He intentado llevar un par de veces y siempre ha sido seco y recocido. Comimos en una vez y la comida era un poco mejor, pero nada comparado a lo que es calidad en otros nando ramas como wimbledon o Colliers Wood.

Excellent service as expected, greeted in a courteous and professional manner. Member of staff assisted me in making the right decision and was very patience for my take away order.

Friendly staff, food is great. Lives up to the expectation of a Nandos! The only down side it's that because it's so big it can get very busy and very loud!

Went here for my 18th birthday last year. It was the first time I went to a Nandos so I didn't know what to expect. It was fantastic. Great food, good location, helpful staff. Made my birthday.

Después de un viaje de 5 horas en el A&E; en el Hospital de ojos, moorfileds en 9:30 pm estábamos buscando un restaurante en la ciudad. Tras un corto paseo hacia el norte desde el hospital, nos encontramos con un Nando's. Estaba razonablemente llena de clientes. Nos sentimos muy bienvenidos por el personal - en particular el camarero italiano Roberto. La comida llegó a nosotros bastante rápidamente después de ordenar. La señorita que me atendió fue muy agradable. La comida en sí nuestro pollo estaba muy suculentos y deliciosos, los otros lados, patatas fritas y pan de ajo, eran muy buenos. Bravo a Old Street nando!

Been here countless times, so glad they built one so close, it's better than the Kingston one! Lovely, spacious, staff are very quick and nice.

nothing much to say about nandos as if you are one of those nando lovers, this branch definitely deliver its service with well cooked chicken. sometimes little too busy at dinner but during day time, you'd find your seat easily. and serve on time.

Regular customers in this Nandos food is always served ultra fast ,hot and well presented always accommodating and great customer service restaurant and surrounding always clean and tidy and easy to find way around.

Always great to have chicken with a bit of spice. Never have had a bad meal and a good choice. Great place for lunch or dinner right in the middle of the shopping mall so a good break.

Having been to several Nandos, i visited this one with a friend and we both found the Nandos to exceptional and both noted that the food appeared more spicy than other chains, great decor and great staff make this particular branch stand out for me. if you're a Nandos lover then I must recommend the New Malden chain for it's well managed service and well cooked food.

Visité new Malden son extraordinarias por primera vez con mi novio esta semana. Era un lunes por la noche y bonita y concurrida- una buena señal. Somos habituales son extraordinarias y nunca he tenido una mala experiencia.

Siempre he sido un gran fan de son extraordinarias y cuando oí que fueron a abrir en New Malden, tenía que ser uno de los primeros en llegar a este lugar. Tengo que decir que las primeras comidas en este hotel son extraordinarias no eran tan agradable como el pollo no estaba bien hecha, demasiado picante, menos picante - el personal no era para hacerlo bien.

Fuimos para una visita de familia a New Malden son extraordinarias y fue como esperábamos. La comida no está mal, pero no extraordinaria un lugar ruidoso y ajetreado lleno de niños.

Fue servida por un niño con mala acné y mantuvo tocar su rostro, que tenía algo de lugares que llora.

Not like any Nandos I've experienced before. Same quality chicken but lovely restaurant interior. Much bigger and more atmosphere than others. Highly recommend

Really happy about getting a local Nando's. Pros - The service is good and staff friendly Cons - Restaurant can get very warm. Chips are often over cooked and very dry.

Good chicken aswell as good prices, and a bottomless cup! The chicken is what you expect from Nandos! I think the service is very nice and kind! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Mis hijos de 14 y 16 años son extraordinarias amor pero yo y mi marido suele tener miedo su ruidoso, mantened restaurantes pero eso es todo gracias a esta nueva sucursal al final de New Malden High Street. Restaurante grande, el personal es estupendo, ambiente relajado y por supuesto una deliciosa comida. una noche con dos adolescentes.
